Kega resort vietnam description. Resort town ke ha in vietnam. Resort town Ke Ga in Vietnam

A resort for a relaxing family vacation. There is little entertainment for young people. With young children, the road is too tiring.

The flight Moscow-Ho Chi Minh takes about 10 hours. The transfer will take approximately 4-5 hours.

Tours to Phan Thiet are slightly cheaper than to Nha Trang.

The beaches in Phan Thiet are covered with fine sand.

It is worth taking a sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), the city of Dalat, seeing the lotus lake, riding ice-floes from the colorful dunes, and visiting coffee plantations. Be sure to take a photo of the Reclining Buddha statue (the largest Buddha figure in Vietnam).

There are floating markets where you can buy fruits and vegetables, inexpensive high-quality clothing, world-famous Chon coffee. There is a large supermarket COOP Mart.

Mostly tourists choose hotels with 3 and 4 stars. Service in them is higher than similar European ones. The hotels are right on the shore.

In hotels, usually only breakfast is offered, there is also half board, there is practically no all-inclusive system.

There are Russian speaking staff, but very rare. English is used for communication. There is no animation in hotels.

On the beach, umbrellas and sun loungers are free in almost all hotels.

The dry season lasts from November to April, but there are often high waves. The best time to surf is from August to December. From May to October, the "wet season", in which the waves are much less.

About Vietnam

You do not need a visa to travel to Vietnam.

The plane flies from Moscow to Vietnam at about 9 hours.

Holidays in Vietnam are especially popular in autumn, winter and spring.

Most tourist flights from Russia arrive at Nha Trang airport. The bus transfer to other resorts in Vietnam can take 4-8 hours. If you are not satisfied with a long transfer, then it is better to choose a resort.

Denis, good afternoon! I have not checked this information for a long time, it seems to me that in the region of 20 dollars or 400 dongs you can agree, even, probably, 15 dollars and 300 dongs, respectively. Here, what kind of car will be and what kind of driver. I advise you to use bus number 6 (if I remember the number correctly), which goes along Ke Ga to Phan Thiet. And in Phan Thiet itself, in the CoopMarta area, there is a bus stop number 1 to Mui Ne. This is a very simple, easy, budget way to travel. But already back, after dinner, and with a bunch of purchases, I advise you to cooperate with someone in advance and take a taxi to the hotel.

Irina, good afternoon! In fact, this is the beginning of the rainy season in the south of Vietnam. For those who do not know what Ke Ga is, this is a strip of resorts outside the city of Phan Thiet, towards Ho Chi Minh City, while the most famous resort close to Phan Thiet is Mui Ne. They are just on opposite sides of Phan Thiet, so this whole tourist destination is called Phan Thiet. Confused people. In Phantetet itself there is nothing interesting for rest, there are two hotels. All hotels are mainly in Mui Ne. A much smaller part is in Ke Ga. And if Mui Ne is a tourist village with a very well-developed infrastructure and a large selection of cafes-restaurants-spa salons, then Ke Ga seems to be on the outskirts, only the sea and emptiness are nearby. But not far from the hotels, local residents opened small shops and cafes. So not really dumb.
But for shopping you need to go at least to Phan Thiet, which is about 25 km. By bus. There are Koopmart and Lotte Mart supermarkets. And behind the choice of cafes and massage, in Mui Ne, this is plus 15 km to those 25.

Irina, good afternoon! Wow, you have plans! But I think they are correct! The easiest way to book a ticket is at your hotel, but there is one rather big problem - as a rule, all slipper buses go through Phan Thiet (from Saigon through Phan Thiet and Mui Ne to Nha Trang). In Mui Ne, they pick you up directly from the hotels, stop wherever you say, since this is one street along the sea, and in Phan Thiet they can also pick you up in certain places (you will need the help of the Vietnamese to negotiate and buy tickets). Nobody drives through Kega. So everything is possible, I see only two problems now - to clearly designate the place where you will be picked up, and to get to this place in advance, and the second - now TET is on the nose, this is the Vietnamese New Year, this year on February 19, and the problem with tickets. Either everything is sold, or prices instead of 120 dongs reach 750. But this can be solved. Good luck in Nha Trang. Email me if you need more advice or help. https://vk.com/dmitryvietnam

Dmitry! Good day!
Need advice, help, comment))))
We are going with children in early February to
Golden Coast Resort & Spa 4 * (on the sites they persistently write that this is Phan Thiet, from your words, and I think this is more correct, this is Mui Ne). We arrive in Nha Trang. And then we begin to tremble imagining the road to the hotel! How can you order a taxi (found a couple of sites, how accurate and safe is it? Or can you take a taxi directly at the airport? And how will it be cheaper? 3 + 3 of us! And will it be faster than a bus? Or maybe you have a reliable taxi driver you know? !))) What is there near our hotel in terms of feeding the children and yourself, walking, shops, a pharmacy, buying fruit, etc.? How is it more convenient for us to visit Winperl? What kind of transport? And maybe you would advise a hotel in Nha Trang to take a break, and on the trail. day to return to your hotel? Which of the excursions can we take that is not particularly tiresome for children? You write about the northern islands (if you are not mistaken in the name), will they suit us? Really looking forward to your reply! Thanks in advance for your patience and responsiveness)

Editor-in-Chief's answer,

Good afternoon everyone. I decided to write a review "hot on the trail" while I remember the details and fresh emotions. Where to begin? Probably from the location of the hotel - it is located in the Ke Ga area, this is a remote place not far from the Vietnamese attraction Ke Ga Lighthouse. I must say right away that they drove us from the airport to the hotel for 5.5 hours, after almost 3 hours of standing at passport control at Kam Ran airport, receiving luggage and sorting by the tour operator by buses (Pegasus). So those who are afraid of a flight (10 hours) should not be afraid of a voyage across the sky, but of the subsequent road to the hotel. Of the advantages - the place is a real chill-out and game - unlike Mui Ne, where the names are already in Russian. This is real Vietnam, baby. The hotel has a ushatan room fund, in places obscenely - "walking tiles" underfoot, dry furniture, dirty and torn bed headrests, cracks in the windows. Speaking of windows, on the very first day after checking in, I opened the window, but it was no longer destined to close it - it jammed tightly. I reported this to the reception, they promised to figure it out, but never did. In the evening they just dropped that tomorrow (not today) they might offer another number, which was done. Okay, not fatal, we breathed the sea air. The air conditioner is good, but hangs right over the bed (I had a baby sleeping there), so don't expect to turn it on at night, you'll get cold). There is no TV in the hotel in Russian, channels in English with Vietnamese voice acting or subtitles. The TV itself is new, in theory you can even connect HDMI to it, but you will not be given a remote control to switch the signal source, but I think you’ll get out ... They clean up very well, the staff are friendly and love children. The views from the rooms to the sea (at least in the one where we lived) are bombastic, good balconies, but literally a meter-high piece of glass shares with neighbors, so if they smoke or like to speak out loud at night with the moon, get ready or not sleep, or something else. There is no entertainment from the word at all (in fact, there is some kind of karaoke over the restaurant), so here you can help yourself. But a good wifi, which, however, sometimes lagged a lot (when full occupancy). Once I called the reception and asked to do something with the Internet, they promised to fix it and asked for my number - someone would come to fix it. What to fix and where I have it in my room, I still do not understand. The Internet did not get any better :) The beach is microscopic between two heaps of stones and this is generally a huge story, a very big minus of all rest. The fact is that there is a fairly long sandbank, and the buoys retreat from the coastline by 5-10 meters, depending on the high tide or low tide. The security guard is hellishly strict and whistles every time you step over the cable (yes, you step over, not swim). The study of the issue showed that the bottom has changed near the hotel over the past two years and a whirlpool has formed, which pulls people under the water. There were cases of drowning (somewhere in Mui Ne, just during our vacation, 4 Vietnamese students drowned) and after that such strict rules were introduced - so decide for yourself whether you need a hotel with the sea or just wet your feet. I was with children and so it was great, my wife and I fed ourselves midges and other insects on the beach on sun loungers (there are only 10 of them under the roofs). For reference, there is an awesome beach nearby, it's a kilometer away and there is no one with a whistle, I swam there without problems, I didn't get sucked in anywhere (maybe I was lucky, I don't know), but in general, everything is at your peril and risk. Shl. When we drove along the shore, an excavator rode and dug the beach - so there may be a chance for some improvement, since the low tide in the last two days made swimming impossible - the shallow was already 10 meters after the buoys, which hung lifelessly on poles. At high tide, the already not clean beach is filled with garbage, I did not see the people who clean it up - I did it myself until I lost this battle to the sea and ran shamefully into the pool to the Chinese. Another pain of the hotel is the restaurant. It is expensive, not very tasty. They asked for freshly squeezed juice without ice (for reference, ice is not made from bottled water and no one can guarantee its purity, he took this habit for himself from Cambodia). They brought half a glass with a grin (they say we weren’t made with a finger either), I didn’t go to the restaurant anymore - because I’m not. Walk nearby along the road - there is a restaurant with prices 2-3 times lower, conditions are Spartan and a lot of flies, but no one bothers to take food to go or to the beach. To the edge you can drive to Phan Thiet to eat cheaper than at a hotel. Tripadvisor is full of recommendations. We never got to the spa, captured by the restaurant's service. The pools in the hotel are very good, with salt water (chlorine is poured anyway), there are many different levels, but there are no slides - the children were delighted. The bar did not work because out of season, in general, half of the hotel at this time (August) was still in suspended animation, fountains did not work in some places, the bowls of small pools were not filled. In general, be prepared for the fact that this hotel is for locals and Chinese. There are few compatriots and therefore no one speaks Russian, only weak English. At the same time, they are very sincere and smile a lot. On weekends, the locals occupy all the rooms and shout their Vietnamese songs from the balconies and smoke until the morning, play cards on the balconies - I fought like a lion, but this is their culture ... you can't help it. Transport. There is a shuttle bus to Phan Thiet, but the time of its departure is solely for the convenience of the staff, who are dragged on their business somewhere in the city (the driver is bombing along the way, so people from bus 6 will keep you company, description below). The last shuttle bus goes there at 16.20, and from there at 21.00. We rode local buses numbered 1 (decent red with air conditioning, but the chance of meeting him is negligible) and 6 (crazy bass, everything is open, including the doors, the roof is leaking, and the locals smoke right in the cabin and the conductor lights them up :) ))). A taxi from Phan Thiet to the hotel costs about 300 thousand dong, if you bargain - according to the counter 340-400 thousand. By the way, if you hope to call a taxi from the hotel to the fishing village, where the Lighthouse and the market (4 km), then relax - for the sake of this a taxi from the city will not go to you and the administrator will kindly offer you to use either a shuttle (departure at 6:00, return at 8:00), or crazy bass :) The attitude of the tour operator (Pegasus) to the hotel residents is slightly dismissive - the Russian people go there a little , so our guide, smiling at all 32, immediately announced that he had come to us for the first and last time. I had to book excursions from the wheels, we felt a little under the pressure of our guide's indifference. He did not give us any big information either, so on top, - Phan Thiet did not know very well. The excursions turned out to be quite good, although this is already offtopic and has nothing to do with the hotel. As for the work of the hotel administration, everything is at the level, there were no serious complaints, traditionally, in a southern, leisurely way, of course, but we did not come here to rush). I do not publish the photo, as I am everywhere with my family.

I am writing a review of the trip for the first time) so do not judge strictly. I decided to write because I learned a lot from previous reviews. First of all, I will say right away that this hotel is suitable for those who want relaxation, those who need parties are clearly not here. (not to be confused with ke gu with mui ne) I draw attention to this, because I myself made this mistake, considering something mui ne is at hand, but in fact a couple of hours by bus, a taxi is expensive. I went with my mother (65 years old, I'm 22), both are delighted with the hotel, my mother is from the flower area, I am from the ocean with a swimming pool. I want to warn you right away that the hotel is perfect for families with very young children, whom you can occupy, and they will not need anything else. Older children will be bored, there is no animation in the hotel. Secondly, food: breakfasts at the hotel are excellent, there is a lot of choice, but the dishes do not change from day to day, there are soups, and eggs, and even pancakes, but otherwise a standard set, different meat, fruits, juices, you can make toasts yourself ... BUT it's worth COMING BEFORE, breakfast is from 7 to 9.30. We personally dined with fruit, but we had dinner at Misha's cafe, almost all Russians eat there, if you leave the hotel and go to the right, the second cafe looks worse than the first, but the taste and price are much better. The first one is held by the Russian Natalia, I advise NOT to go, she misses the ingredients, after which she is rude. Misha, along with the menu, will bring you roasted peanuts, and then with a receipt, fruit as a gift, a trifle, but very nice. Basically we took one side dish, one seafood dish and juices from VND 150-200,000. The water in the room is the one that is free on top (it is updated every day), in the refrigerator it is naturally paid, but we took it from there, then we bought and delivered the same one from the supermarket, no one had any complaints.
Thirdly, the beach, we were in December, the waves are very large, it is really possible to swim in the sea until 11-12 and then swim and jump on the waters, then a very big tide. At the expense of the ebb and flow, the sea really changes very much, where in the morning there are 20 meters of the beach, by the evening the waves reach the pool. Moreover, as far as I understood the beach at hotel 2, this one is near the pool, and the second one to the right of it, but the second one is somehow semi-wild, there is more garbage in the water, and you come across sand flies, which have peculiar bites, at first you don't feel, and then itches, and not all day, but itches for about an hour, then the whole day is quiet, but they pass for a very long time. We were advised to escape from them with respirators. Also, these midges are on the wild beach on the left (tested on myself). The pool has sea water, which is a big plus for the hotel. As an indicator, at night, in waves, it brings crabs into the pool, and they calmly survive, throwing out a couple in the morning)
Fourth, the rooms are huge, the views are beautiful, we had 403 rooms and were comfortable and clean. But take a fumigator with you, put it in the room at night, because if you sleep with the windows open, someone bites. And perhaps when you leave your room in the evening, leave the windows closed, one day we found a couple of huge cockroaches. Fifth excursions. We flew with aneks, they are expensive, they took from Alexei (a Vietnamese who studied in Moscow) he is located near the coop market (phanthet) I will describe how to get there later. Alex's contacts remain, you can knock on the PM in VK (Evgenia Astrikhinskaya), I'll send it. his money was changed, the rate was $ 100 2,150,000 dong. Alex's excursions are 2 times cheaper than aneks, the Nyachansh-Dalat excursion cost $ 100 per person (this is a 2-day excursion), just $ 30 Dalat, we came across a Russian guide, so we really liked it. We also went fishing independently, from our hotel it is really possible to walk (15 minutes) to the left of the hotel, there will be a hotel located on two parts of the road (double name, it starts at m, I don’t remember more precisely) so if you go to the left side of the road, then for 80,000 dong you can fish, spinning rods, bait are given out, the Vietnamese completely helps you both put it on and cast it. Piranhas and perches are caught, and they are caught very well, each of us caught 9 fish pieces. After you caught a fish, you can either release it, or buy (120,000 dong per kilogram) it will be prepared for you right there for free, just do not forget to ask for a spicy note, that was our mistake) then you will be taken to a restaurant where you already your ready fish will be waiting) Transport: it took a really long time to get to the hotel (6 hours, and the hotel will most likely be the last one), but it was quite comfortable on the minibus, after the plane we slept in it, the rest of the time we admired the surroundings. Brought to a cafe to eat, prices are 2 times more expensive. Therefore, I advise you to take something from home with you, and then just go out to the sea. Dollars in this cafe can be changed normally. You can get from the hotel to Phan Thiet by shuttle bus, but it is paid VND 20,000, the schedule is at the reception. There is also a public bus with a local flavor of 13,000 dongs, it runs about once half an hour or an hour, go to the hotel security, and say that you are up to fanthet (explaining with gestures), then the guard gets up to catch the bus, and you sit in the shade on the bench. Color - on the bus, Vietnamese can smoke, stare at you, sit on the floor, and more. Buy tickets and get off near the coop marketa, either ask the conductor to show it for the first time, or see where all the Russians get out. Next to him, without crossing the road, Alex has a travel agency. There is also a bus to Mui Ne 9ka. But remember that in the direction of the hotel the last 6ka goes at about 5-5.30 .. Like everything, if I remember anything, I will add.

Pros: The hotel disposes tourists to a quiet and relaxing holiday. The heat at the resort is easily tolerated due to the mild climate.

Minuses: There is a lot of garbage floating in the sea, which makes swimming unpleasant. There are no showers by the hotel pool.
