The heroes of fairy-tale books, cartoons and films are so beloved by children that they migrate into her games and even become an example to follow. Since the fairy tale often visits children, why not pay the fairy tale a return visit?

Kidpassage has prepared for you a selection of information about interesting museums of fairy tales and storytellers. By including one of these museums in your excursion route, you will delight your children and together with them you can immerse yourself in the fabulous world of childhood.

House of fairy tales "Once upon a time" (Moscow, Russia)

It is worth saying just two words - "Once upon a time ..." - and the children will perk up their ears, getting ready to hear the fairy tale. And in the House of Fairy Tales, you can also be a fairy-tale character yourself, trying on his costume during theatrical excursions. Such excursions are dedicated to Russian and Western European folk tales, epics and mythology, the author's fairy tale. Participate in the development of the plot, alter it, fill it with new adventures and victories, create an old fairy tale in a new way - all this children can do in the House of Fairy Tales. And besides, where else will there be an opportunity to feed the Snake Gorynych or climb into the stove to Baba Yaga?

Note that the excursion programs have been specially prepared for children of different ages. The creators of the House plan to open a network of fabulous museums. There is already a Museum of Pinocchio-Pinocchio. With bated breath, children follow in the footsteps of the heroes of the fairy tale about the golden key, finding themselves either in Papa Carlo's closet, or at the pond where Tortilla lives, or in Malvina's cozy house. And soon the Museum of Russian Fairy Tale will also start working.

"Skazkin House" (St. Petersburg, Russia)

If you look closely, then the "Fairy Tale House" is not a house at all, but a whole fabulous country in which Ole Lukkoye and Zolotaya Rybka, Koschey the Immortal and Karabas-Barabas, Three Bears and Puss in Boots live side by side. In this country, there will be a place for little lovers of fairy tales: after all, they can also overcome all the dangers, solve cunning riddles, complete tasks and make the fairy tale end happily. Traveling through the fantastic halls of the "Fairy House", the children will find themselves in Koshchei's cave, listen to the steps of the Scientist Cat, sit on the beds of Mikhail Ivanovich, Nastasya Petrovna and Mishutka, and master the management of Baba Yaga's stupa. Actors in the form of fairy-tale characters will help them to get comfortable in a fairy tale. Now in St. Petersburg there are two "Fairy Houses" (on Gorkovskaya and Pionerskaya).

"Glade of fairy tales" (Yalta, Ukraine)

No matter how good the scenery is, we still remember how many times the fairytale heroes wandered through the fields and through the dense forests. Therefore, the open-air museum "Glade of Fairy Tales" has settled under the shade of trees, and how can you not believe that this is a real fairy forest. Here are collected sculptures of characters from different fairy tales: the mighty hero Svyatogor and resourceful Zaporozhye Cossacks, the unfortunate Old Man with his Old Woman and the cheerful Khoja Nasreddin, Ellie with her faithful friends - the Scarecrow, the Woodcutter and the Brave Lion, a bunch of small inhabitants of Teremok and many other characters of folk , fairy tales of Russian and foreign writers. For advice or help, as usual in fairy tales, here you have to go to Baba Yaga - she lives in a traditional hut on chicken legs. Perhaps, for a start, Yaga will ask a cunning riddle - but since Ivan Tsarevich coped with her tasks, then the children will also cope. Also in the summer theater they give fabulous performances.

Junibacken (Stockholm, Sweden)

If, hearing the name Astrid Lindgren, you remember Carlson and Pippi Longstocking, then after visiting this museum you will probably want to read other books by this writer with your children. Lindgren's heroes - mischievous inventors and dreamers - inhabit the museum. There are also characters from books by other Scandinavian writers - visitors to the museum meet with them on Fairy Tale Square. On the playground, you can drop in to Peppy's villa "Chicken" to play pranks with the mischievous red-haired inventor, and visit the houses of other fairy-tale heroes. And the Fairy Train will take you to visit the Madiken girl, to Emil from Lenneberg, and suddenly soar into the air to turn on the roof to Carlson, pick up Nils and the geese and go together to Roni, the robber's daughter, and the Lionheart brothers. During the trip, stories about all these heroes can be heard in Russian. The museum also hosts theatrical performances and game exhibitions.

Museum "Valley of the Moomins" (Tampere, Finland)

In the cozy twilight that reigned in the dwelling of the Moomins, when it was time to go to sleep, there was a museum, which contains illustrations for the books of Tove Jansson about these well-fed handsome guys and their friends, as well as models of episodes from the tales about the Moomin, Sniff , Snusmumrika and the rest. But the main attraction is the five-story house of the Moomins 2.5 meters high, and you can look into every corner of it. And there is something to see there - even a treasure is hidden in one of the nooks. On the basis of the museum's collection, a multimedia program "Primordial Moomin Dol" was created, which allows you to wander around the fabulous valley of the Moomin trolls and meet its inhabitants.

Moomin Park (Naantale, Finland)

Kylo Island is no different from the rest of the islets off the coast of Finland, except that on its shore you can meet the Moomin, collecting shells for his mother. There is a theme park, which is inhabited by the heroes of Tove Jansson's fairy tales. The house of the Moomins in the park is huge, you can visit all the rooms, even look into the kitchen for a treat. There are also the dwellings of the rest of the fairytale heroes - Snusmumrik's camp, Hemul's house and even Morra's icy house. Friendly characters - Baby Mu, Hemul and, of course, the whole family of Moomin trolls - get to know the visitors, take pictures with them. In summer, there is a swimming pool and a children's beach at guests' disposal, while in winter there is plenty of space for skiing and sledging.

Andersen Museum (Copenhagen, Denmark)

The famous children's storyteller, who sat down at the entrance to the house and dropped in for the fun in Tivoli Park - this is how the monument to Andersen looks like at the entrance to the museum. In the attic of the house where this wise and sad writer lived, his study was recreated, Andersen himself sits at the table, and the view from his window is almost the same as it was several centuries ago. In the museum, surprises and surprises await visitors - a meeting with Thumbelina, a difficult journey after the Tin Soldier and a mocking observation of the Naked King, who, showing off in front of the mirror, seems to be fully dressed. Thanks to three-dimensional animation, you can find yourself in the atmosphere of Andersen's fairy tales.

Breteuil Castle (Rambouillet, France)

The Breteuil family is very famous in France, but its castle, built at the beginning of the 17th century, attracts many tourists not so much because of the history of the ancient noble family, but because of the fabulous atmosphere: the castle houses a museum of Charles Perrault's fairy tales. And it is inhabited by wax figures of characters from childhood favorite fairy tales: Puss-in-Boots plotting a new trick (there are more than 20 cats - a fabulous cat, we remember, was omnipresent), waiting for her prince Sleeping Beauty, dressed up for the ball Cinderella, the villain Bluebeard and a lot others. In addition, the castle captures scenes of historical events important to the French. In the castle park, you can wander the boxwood maze, relax by the pond, or have a picnic on the lawn. On Sundays, scenes from different fairy tales are performed here. The castle is especially beautiful during Christmas and Easter.

House-Museum of Brothers Grimm (Steinau an der Straße, Germany)

Fachwerk typical for Germany - white walls, brown beams; right next to the house is a tree with wooden benches in the shade. This is the house where the brothers Grimm lived - world famous storytellers. More precisely, two of them were storytellers, and the third, a musician and engraver, created many illustrations for the fairy tales of his brothers. His work, as well as drawings by other artists, are displayed in the museum. And also - old and new books in different languages, the plots of which are familiar from childhood: "The Bremen Town Musicians", "Hansel and Gretel", "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and many others. The house coexists with the simple life of the Grimm family and modern interiors, also inhabited by characters from favorite fairy tales. Even the wolf that threatened Little Red Riding Hood bares its teeth, but there is no harm from it.

Museum website, photo: http://www.brueder-grimm-haus.de

Along the way, we will mention that I have developed a whole route - "The German Fairy Tale Road", which runs from Bremen, where the cat, dog, donkey and rooster gained fame, to Hanau, the hometown of the brothers Grimm. The 600 km long road connecting magical medieval cities goes past the castles of Cinderella, Snow White and Rapunzel, past the possessions of Lady Blizzard, through Hamelin, where the Pied Piper lived, and Bodenwerder, the estate of Baron Munchausen.

We think that visiting one of these museums will lead to the fact that your bookcase or collection of films will be replenished with new good fairy tales!

An amazing and fabulous place must be visited by every parent who comes to the capital with their child. And if you are a resident of Moscow and have not yet visited the Buratino-Pinocchio Museum, then this is completely unforgivable. Here you can plunge into the amazing, fantastic world of this well-known story.

Visiting Buratino

Arriving at the Buratino-Pinocchio Museum, you can wander around the amazing world in which these heroes lived, or book excursions. They are themed here, for every taste - "Papa Carlo and his dolls", "Buratino and Malvina meet friends."

With the help of the museum staff, you will actually visit the country of Buratinia. Few would refuse such an offer. You can stroll along the narrow Italian street where the now famous carpenter Pope Carlo lives in his closet. Be sure to visit him. Or try to find the coveted golden key in the pond where the tortoise Tortilla lives on your own.

The children will be told in detail about Pinocchio, the ancestor of Buratino, who was invented by the Italian storyteller Carlo Collodi in 1883. And also about his Russian analogue Buratino, about which Alexei Tolstoy wrote in 1936.

It is surprising for both children and adults that not only in Russia storytellers imitated Collodi. There are similar subjects, for example, in German fairy-tale literature - this is Zepfel Kern by Otto Birbaum. You can learn this and much more about the heroes loved from childhood if you come to the Museum of Pinocchio.

Pinocchio and his friends

Together with his friends, the main character of the fairy tale is ready to conduct various excursions for visitors.

In the new program of the museum, the guys will be able to meet the beautiful Malvina, who will teach restless Buratino and all the children who come to visit him in the basic rules of etiquette. For example, how to behave at the table, in the theater, at a party, how to communicate politely with each other. So this excursion will be not only interesting, but also informative.

The main thing that is advised to everyone who decided to visit the House-Museum of Buratino-Pinocchio is to read the tale carefully in advance. Then it will be even more interesting and fun.

How to get there?

The Buratino-Pinocchio Museum is located in Moscow. To get there, the easiest way is to take the metro, on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. You will need to get off at the Izmailovskaya station. This is between "Pervomaiskaya" and "Partizanskaya".

It is not difficult to find the Pinocchio Museum. 2nd Parkovaya Street, house 18. If you are coming from the center, it is best to get off the last carriage. So you will immediately find yourself on the 2nd Parkovaya street. You can walk to the museum from the metro. It will take no more than 5-7 minutes on foot.

The museum is open every day, seven days a week. Opens at 10 am and works until half past five in the evening. You need to visit it by appointment, so be sure to inform about your visit in advance. Also, one more nuance - you must have a change of shoes to visit the Museum of Pinocchio. After all, you will go straight to visit the fairy-tale heroes, and it is customary to take off your shoes when visiting. Well, or walk in clean shoes.

The ticket price will be 600 rubles. If the visit is collective, for example, a whole class, starting from 15 people, came to visit Malvina, then they will be given a 10 percent discount.

Also, children from large families will pay 100 rubles less, even if they come for an individual excursion.

For organizers of visiting children from boarding schools, there is good news. They won't have to pay for a ticket at all.

Baba Yaga - Kukoboy

Babu Yaga was settled in the village of Kukoboi (2-3 hours drive from Yaroslavl) in 2004 and built a hut there on chicken legs. From ancient times came the Yaroslavl legend about a mysterious, nameless old woman from the back. She lived in the depths of deep dense forests, rarely anyone could see her. By the way, the locals have somewhat corrected the image of the dark character. In the process of "registration" of the famous old woman, serious problems arose: the fact is that the village of Kukoboy is famous for its many temples and churches, and the priests were categorically against the settlement of the "devilry". But, despite this, everything was resolved safely, and Baba Yaga corrected herself: now she helps those in need, although from time to time she continues to hooligan. If you decide to go to the residence of Baba Yaga, then do not be surprised that first you will be taken to the temple in order to buy holy water and candles. Only with such weapons can you safely enter the Izbushka. Also, in the possession of Baba Yaga, you will find tea with famous Kukoboi pies, contests and much more. On the last Saturday of July, everyone is invited to Baba Yaga's birthday. http://babajaga76.ru/dostoprimachayelnosti/sedmaya-skazochnaya-versta

Tsar Berendey - Pereslavl-Zalessky

According to one of the legends, in the Pereslavl Territory lived the Berendei - warring tribes who were in the service of the Russian princes. They were ruled by the just and kind king Berendey. In Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Region, the Berendey House, a Center for the Preservation and Development of Folk Traditions and Folk Art Crafts, was created. Those interested can visit the chamber of King Berendey, see his throne and hear from him a story about the ancient Berendey. Behind the house there is a sunny meadow where Tsar Berendey and his berendeys spend merry folklore festivals.

Kikimora and Vasnetsov's Tales - Kirov Region

In Kirov, on the Kikimorskaya mountain, Kikimora's house was built. And now she invites all tourists to visit. In the Fairy Tale Preserve theme park, you can wander around the Fairy Tales Museum, solve the Brownie's riddles and play with other characters. Details are on the website of the Flying Ship active recreation center. http://korabl-kirov.ru/ #

And then you can go to the village of Ryabovo (about 2.5 hours by bus from Kirov) - a "magic path" based on Vasnetsov's fairy tales opened there: with a hut on chicken legs, Kashchei's labyrinth and, of course, Alyonushka.

Goldfish - Bolshoe Boldino

The village of Bolshoye Boldino of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, where there are no rivers, but where Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin wrote the famous "Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish", is recognized as the exact place of the "birth" of the Golden Fish. There he wrote more than fifty well-known works. To attract tourists in the Bolsheboldinsky District, they are going to build the "City of Pushkin's Tales" with a complex of attractions based on the works of the classics, a children's theater and a water park "Zolotaya Rybka".

However, the "Possession of the Golden Fish" is also located in the village of Lipin Bor, Vologda Oblast. This is due to the name of the district - Vashkinsky. In the region, the fish called "vashkalok" is widespread, which, translated from Veps, indicates a kind of copper or gold color of the fish. The village has a Children's Park, located in a pine forest, near the White Lake. Here live the Borovik mushroom, the mischievous Silver Fish - the girlfriends of the Golden Fish, the Old Man with his old woman, and of course, the Empress Rybka herself. The program of the stay includes a subscription "Visiting Grandma Fedora" in the regional museum of local lore. Here guests will be offered to light a coal samovar; take part in folk games and amusements, swing on traditional Russian swings and take part in a tea ceremony with delicious country pies. Visiting the regional House of Crafts, you can buy souvenirs, take part in a master class, and make a fish from birch bark with your own hands. There is also a Fish and Fishery House. Kolobok - the village of New Bedenga

At first, the Ulyanovsk region tried to “stake out” the name of Cheburashka on the fabulous map, citing the mention in Dahl's dictionary as a basis, but the creator of the Cheburashka image, Eduard Uspensky, strongly opposed it. Meanwhile, most of the fairy-tale characters have dismantled other cities, and only Kolobok remained in Ulyanovsk. Fortunately, the foundations here are more or less strong: local historian Sergei Petrov found the Simbirsk roots of the character in connection with the oscillation, the Simbirsk kolobok. According to Dahl's dictionary, in the Ulyanovsk province, bread made from the remnants of dough was called oscillation. This is the bun, for which the flour was scraped along the bottom.

June 2, 2012 in the village of Novaya Bedenga, the official opening of the Kolobok estate took place. The log house and the yard of the fairytale hero were cut down according to all the canons of carpentry craft of the 19th century. A stove was laid out in the hut - so that it was always warm and smelled of pies. Kolobok's backyards are located in a picturesque area. Nearby, on a pedestal, there is a sculpture of the owner of the house, next to it there are wooden images of all the heroes of the fairy tale - the Hare, the Bear, the Wolf and the Fox.

The estate will include a number of facilities: Kolobok's House, Kolobkodrom, a playground, and the Simbirskiye Kolobok production line. "Kolobok's House" will be an interactive donut cafe (with children's and adult halls) with a souvenir shop and a "live" Kolobok, which, naturally, will be an animator.

Ivanushka the Fool - Kenozero

Kenozerye is one of the first places (along with Veliky Ustyug), which "booked" the fairytale hero back in 2001, at the same time the first holiday - "Kenozerskaya Fool" was held here. Every year there is an exhibition of children's drawings and letters to Ivanushka "Favorite fairy-tale hero". Kenozerye is the birthplace of the famous scientist, writer, storyteller and folklorist Alexander Nechaev (1902-1986), who prepared and published about 60 books of folk tales and epics. On the day of Ivan Kupala, Kenozero residents invite everyone to the holiday "Kenozero Fool".

Sadko - Gosts

Residents of the village of Gosttsy, Novgorod Region, sincerely believe that Sadko is not just an invented fairy tale, but a very real person. A certain Sotko Sytinich is really mentioned in the Novgorod chronicle of 1167 as the builder of the Church of Boris and Gleb in Novgorod Detinets. “Various fairy-tale motives are confined to the name of this person,” as historians and linguists write today. Let us remind you that one of the legends about Sadko says that he decided to argue with the merchants that there is a fish with golden feathers in Lake Ilmen. The Water King helped him to win the dispute. After that, Sadko traded successfully and soon became rich. According to this belief, businessmen and entrepreneurs still come to Gostsy for good luck.

Koschey the Immortal - Staritsa

The old town of Staritsa, Tver region, is now considered the birthplace of Koschei. In support of this version, the governor of the Tver region Dmitry Zelenin cites a legend, how once an old man's shoemaker met a monster with burning eyes in local quarries. “This is exactly how Koschey the Immortal appears in Russian fairy tales,” Zelenin explains. In addition, the old coat of arms of the Staritsa depicts a hunchbacked old woman with a stick. According to local historians, this is "the very Baba Yaga who helped Ivan Tsarevich defeat Koschei." It is planned to equip Koschei's cave in the city and even erect a monument to him. In the meantime, the main attraction of Staritsa is the Holy Dormition Monastery. In Staritsa, the youth John was born and raised - later Job, the first Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia; here he died. And knowledgeable Orthodox Christians specially come to Staritsa to see his tomb.

Nightingale the Robber - Birch

In the Kursk region there is the village of Bereza, which is full of legends and traditions. Why is this village the birthplace of the Nightingale the Robber? There is a legend that at the founding of the village itself, the peasant planted three birches, about which the Nightingale the Robber talks a lot in the epic. The Kursk registration of the Nightingale was at one time confirmed even by the famous archaeologist Yuri Lipking in the book "The Distant Past of the Nightingale Land".

Mermaid - Pskov

Most recently, the Pskov Little Mermaid appeared on the “Fairy Map of Russia”. The fact that it was she who became a fabulous symbol of the Pskov region can be easily explained: in the Pskov region there is a museum-reserve of A.S. Pushkin "Mikhailovskoye", and at Pushkin's in Lukomorye, a mermaid is sitting on the branches of a green oak. By the way, the mermaid's residence will be located in the Lukomorye out-of-town recreation center, so everything is perfectly connected.

This fish is the main attraction of the Rostov Lake Nero, because according to legend, this very magic pike lives here.

Water - Poshekhonye

It is not for nothing that Poshekhonye is called the Yaroslavl Venice - after all, it stands on five rivers at once, there are ponds here and, of course, the Rybinsk reservoir. And therefore, the Poshekhonts decided to settle a water man. Its official residence is in the children's library. The waterman's apartment is decorated with portraits of the owner, statues of cute frog girlfriends, an aquarium with small catfish, a water mill and other attributes of the water kingdom. The idea to secure the residence of the ruler of rivers and lakes for Poshekhony was invented by the library staff, who collected the rich history of the Master of the Rivers. The waterman in folk performances Poshekhonya is a sturdy middle-aged peasant with a beard and bare feet. He wears a red shirt and a straw hat. The main tourist holiday takes place here at the beginning of June and it is called the "Master of the Poshekhonsky Rivers". Interactive programs are held at the Vodyanoy residence. The merman gives various advice, Kikimora sings songs and amuses the guests, and then everyone is treated to an ear.

Buratino - Zelenogradsk

June 13, 1999 Citizens of the resort town of Zelenogradsk, Kaliningrad Region, gathered in the central square of the city and adopted a "hitherto homeless, passportless and homeless Buratino" by a special Act. Residents of the city believe that the wooden boy was born to them. And they give an argument: in Zelenogradsk there is a Field of Miracles - the very one described in the Golden Key. Whether money trees grow there, come and see for yourself.

In early August, Zelenograd residents celebrate the Day of their city. At this holiday, Buratino will find something funny and amusing for every child. But if suddenly you do not manage to get to Zelenogradsk for the holiday, do not worry! Firstly, the sea, forest, sand and sun in Buratino's homeland work around the clock. You will be taken to the memorial sites associated with the extraordinary adventures of Pinocchio. You will see with your own eyes the oak on which the night robbers hung Buratino upside down, the bridge over the Tortilin pond, the pine tree to which Karabas Barabas was glued with his beard, a copy of Malvina's secluded house. And then you yourself will play in a scene from the play about Buratino or in several Buratino games. And then you will order three crusts of bread at the Three Gudgeons Kharchevna. And then visit the Zelenograd Historical and Archaeological Museum, where unique exhibits about the past of this land are exhibited. It's very interesting!

Scarlet Flower - Ufa

At the entrance you will be greeted by Cheburashka himself with his best friend, the crocodile Gena. There is also a real telephone booth, in which, according to legend, the character of Eduard Uspensky lived.

By the way, this part of the exposition was conceived by the writer: the most difficult thing was to find a payphone - after all, by the time the museum was created, they had not been produced for a long time! I even had to turn to the Moscow City Telephone Network for help, and a real phone booth was assembled from two retro copies.

Inside the museum there is an exhibition of children's works: more than a hundred Cheburashkas and other cartoon characters - drawings, crafts, and soft toys.

The museum conducts excursions where kids are told about cartoon characters. And here you can also see the legendary typewriter of Eduard Uspensky, on which this urban fairy tale was printed.

Nizhny Novgorod

On a visit to the Goldfish

Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region revere Rybka - she has become a real talisman of these places. And this story began a long time ago: the land in Boldino and the surrounding area for four centuries belonged to the family of the poet Pushkin, and now this village is a cultural monument of federal significance.

Here is located the famous throughout the country literary-memorial and natural museum-reserve of A. Pushkin "Boldino", where visitors will learn about the three Boldin autumn in the life of the poet, which significantly enriched their native literature. After all, it was in Boldino that Pushkin wrote almost all of his famous fairy tales. The first was "The Tale of the Priest and His Worker Balda", the second autumn on the Boldin land turned out to be the most fruitful for fairy tales - "The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Heroes" and "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" appeared. During the third visit, the poet wrote The Tale of the Golden Cockerel.

In memory of this legacy of the poet, another museum was opened in Boldino - dedicated to Pushkin's tales. The museum has many fascinating expositions: "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish", "Thirty-Three Bogatyrs", "The Tale of Tsar Saltan".

The main part of the exhibits - magnificent panels and silk stained-glass windows, dolls-characters of Pushkin's fairy tales, embroideries and articles with cloisonné enamel - were created by children in the workshops of the Author's Center for Artistic Crafts in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region. In addition, there are works by professional artists, masters of Gorodets painting.

Tula

On a visit to the master Lefty

The nugget master once glorified Tula, and now he continues to live here in the historical part of the city, on the banks of the Upa River, but already in the form of a bronze monument. From time immemorial, gunsmiths have settled here, including the founder of the dynasty of the first Russian industrialists Nikita Demidov and his descendants.

Not far from the monument is the six-story building of the Museum of Weapons, stylized as a helmet of a Russian warrior. During the excursion, the name of the master will sound more than once - children and parents will be told about the glorious history of Tula, about its craftsmen and, of course, about Lefty himself and his unique works. And in Tula, there are incredibly delicious gingerbread cookies - try it yourself and take it as a gift to your family and friends!

Kostroma

On a visit to the Snow Maiden

The Snow Maiden was born on the Shchelykovo estate in the Kostroma region, which belonged to the famous playwright A. N. Ostrovsky, the author of the fairy tale about the snow beauty. Granddaughter of Santa Claus can be safely considered the brand of Kostroma, she has become a real VIP person here. Local entrepreneurs decided to turn to the origins and did not lose: the tourist complex, where the most interesting object is the Snegurochka tower, has no end of visitors all year round.

In the courtyard of the tower there is a huge stone: "If you go to the right, you will lose your horse, if you go straight ahead, you will get to the Snow Maiden in the tower." And there is also a slide, from which in winter you can slide on wooden sleds - modern, but exactly repeating the old sleds. Opposite the teremok is a belfry: be sure to go there, ring the bells and appreciate their crystal melody.

A visit to the Snegurochka's mansion will be interesting for both large and small guests: here is the Ice Room with refreshments, and funny games at the Snegurkin Compound, and the most exciting - an interactive program, during which you will be accompanied by Domovoy, Domovikha and the learned cat Bayun. You will hear Slavic myths and legends, watch a puppet show and, of course, meet with the granddaughter of Santa Claus herself.

The Ice Room is considered the pearl of the Snow Maiden's tower. This hall is open all year round, and it is always winter in it: the temperature here is -14 ° C. Decorations on the walls, sculptures, and even dishes are made of ice by Kostroma craftsmen. In the Ice Hall, children are offered to taste fabulous sweet drinks, and adults - something stronger from ice cups. And do not be afraid to freeze - in the summer, before a visit to the room, guests will be given warm clothes and felt boots.

In addition to southern Rostov-on-Don, there is also the city of Rostov in the middle zone, which presented the country with an epic hero, the famous Alyosha Popovich. By the way, the hero is quite real: today scientists have found a lot of evidence that the hero Alyosha was really born in this city in the XII century, in the family of a priest.

Since 2010, a popular excursion program “Visiting Alyosha Popovich” has existed in Rostov the Great. During the day, you can visit three excursions at once: "Unique crafts" (a visit to the Rostov enamel factory), "All roads lead to the Kremlin" (a tour of the local ancient Kremlin) and a visit to the Spaso-Yakovlevsky monastery, where you will be accompanied by the hero himself and beloved Nastenka. The program includes initiation into bogatyrs and Russian beauties, fun, fun and national games, and in the end - gifts for participation in competitions!

In summer, the city regularly hosts festivals "By the Pike's Command": a procession is sent from Cathedral Square to the city park, led by Emelya himself, riding, as he should be, on the stove. In the spring, Maslenitsa festivities are held here, where guests can taste delicious fish soup in addition to traditional pancakes.
