Kuchugura beaches on the Azov and Black seas. Kuchugury (Krasnodar Territory): vacation, photos, reviews Kuchugury what a sea

Kuchugury Beach & Beach Line

Kuchugury, the beach of the village and the quality of the coastline fully meet the requirements of a modern tourist for a beach holiday. When we talk about summer vacations, a picture of the endless sea and golden sandy shore appears in our mind's eye subconsciously. In the Temryuk district there are many small but surprisingly cozy resort places that fully meet these simple but understandable requests.

The village of Kuchugury, located just a forty-minute drive from Temryuk, is a small but well-groomed and cozy settlement that ten years ago could offer tourists both comfortable hotels and a developed private sector. Although the private sector here is in no way inferior to the comfort of recreation centers. For example, some of the Azov resorts (especially in the Rostov region) still do not have any developed tourist segment.

The real local pride is the long, golden beaches that stretch for several tens of kilometers in both directions from the Kuchugury village. Photos of the village and the beach can be viewed in the corresponding section of the site.

Beach in Kuchugury: reviews and features

The settlement is completely located on a small hill, so in some places vacationers will have to descend from low (no more than five meters) hills to the seashore. Some may say that the hills are not very convenient. However, the high Taman earthen shores are not only a visiting card of the region, but also its pride:
 • First of all, they protect Kuchugurs from flooding and the destructive force of storms. Although hurricane winds rarely blow in the Sea of Azov in summer, even with a strong breeze, you don't have to worry about your safety.
 • Also, from July to August on Taman, winds often blow in a southeast direction, and high banks become a natural obstacle in their path.
 • There are travelers looking specifically for these slopes, as areas with updrafts are formed near them, which can lift sky lovers into the air. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see groups of paragliders over the Kuchugur beaches in summer.
 • The high banks are natural viewing platforms. From their height you can admire the incredibly picturesque landscapes of the Taman land.
While resting in Kuchugury, you will want to slow down in order to breathe in as deeply as possible. After all, fresh sea air is a real medicine. Thus, for a full-fledged healing procedure, it is enough to visit the beach in Kuchugury a couple of times a day. Reviews about the quality of the coastline can be found in the corresponding section of the site.

Kuchugury Beach is the Sea of Azov

It is difficult to give an unambiguous answer to the question: "which beach in Kuchugury?" The Sea of Azov had the most direct impact on the process of its formation, as well as on its properties. Firstly, soft shell sand in the summer warms up strongly, therefore, in the area of the village, sand treatment or psammotherapy can be carried out.

It turns out that this favorite children's game can put on their feet even those who are desperate to go to hospitals. For example, grains of sand will have the same effect on your skin as a scrub. You can bury yourself in the sand, either completely or in parts. For example, covering your knees with hot sand, you can almost immediately feel how the pain in them subsides. Such deep heating is beneficial for inflammation in the joints and spine. Also psammotherapy will have a beneficial effect on recurrent pain in women. However, it is worth remembering that this procedure has some limitations. With special care, it should be carried out by people suffering from heart disease.

Secondly, during the year the beach in Kuchugury is not only colored with new shades, but also has a different temperament. The entrance to the sea is smooth and gentle, and the depth near the coast is shallow. Although you can swim here fully. In summer, the beach smells of salt and breathes warm.

The village of Kuchugury on the shores of the Azov Sea is a quiet and calm place for a relaxing holiday. The beaches in the village of Kuchugury and the surrounding area are sandy, long, with a gentle, comfortable bottom. The area around is incredibly picturesque and unlike the south of the Krasnodar Territory with mountains and an abundance of greenery. The typical landscape of this part of the Azov coast is extended steppes, vineyards, dunes and mud volcanoes.

The name of the village stands for “sandy hillocks”.

The village of Kuchugury is one of the ideal places for families with young children: the general calm atmosphere of the resort, beaches with soft sand and gentle slopes, a warmer sea, the presence of sanatoriums with wellness procedures. Tourists with older children will be bored - there is no entertainment at the resort, except for the playground. Also, the disadvantages include frequent winds - swimming during such periods is dangerous.

The beaches of the village of Kuchugury on the Sea of Azov

Most of the beaches are wild. An exception is the central Kuchugur beach, as well as beach areas near local hotels and resorts. Some sites can only be reached by car - they are separated by steep dunes and hills from other beaches.

Central beach

The second name of the Central Kuchugur beach is “Sand placer”. The beach stretches for 1 km along Beregovaya Street. The beach is covered with sand mixed with coquina. There are several isolated areas on the beach, where recreation is intended for those living in the Golubaya Bukhta sanatorium or for visitors to the Priboy cafe. In addition to the main descent to the beach from the village, there are also stairs from Krasnaya and Gagarin streets. Going down without stairs is problematic, especially with children - the beach is located behind a rather steep hill. Sun loungers can be rented on some parts of the beach, but most vacationers sunbathe on their own mats and towels. There is a shower, changing cabins, toilets.

In the summertime, attractions for children are installed on the beach: inflatable slides and trampolines. More adult entertainment is represented by riding a water bike, "cheesecake" or banana, as well as paragliding. During the day, vendors of hot corn, pies and other fast food walk along the beach. The beach cafe offers set meals at reasonable prices.

Beach "Primorskaya embankment"

On the southeast side, Central Beach flows into a wider stretch of beach. The entry to the sea is even shallower, but the slopes to the beach are almost not equipped. In some places, the height of the dunes reaches 2 meters. It is more convenient to go down to the Central Beach and then go southeast along the sea. In some places, the beach is quite wild - sometimes they ride a buggy or spontaneously form grounds for team games.

Gagarinsky beach

The beach continues Central, but goes beyond the village. It is less comfortable and, as a consequence, less crowded. You can also rent beach equipment, use showers, changing rooms and public restrooms. On the beach there is a water entertainment center that offers banana and pill rides, speed boats and scooters.

Wild beaches

Kuchugury are famous for their wild beaches: wide, with soft sand. One of the most popular wild beaches, Cape Pekla Beach, is a 15-minute walk away. It gained popularity thanks to the nearby mud volcano - after medical procedures, tourists go down to the beach to wash off the mud and soak up the sun.

Tourists by car can get to an extended wild beach (3 km in length) between Kuchugury and the village of Za Rodinu. The beach is narrow (on average, 25 meters wide), but the sand is perfect: no shell rock, fine, as if sifted. Due to the absence of crowds of tourists, the beach is very clean and quiet.

Nude beach

There is no official nudist beach in Kuchugury. But, since there are many wild beaches in the vicinity, you can choose a secluded area. It is better to swim and sunbathe without clothes in the afternoon, in the late afternoon - Kuchugury and the nearest villages are considered family resorts, tourists with children may be outraged by this behavior.

Reviews 2020

There are both positive and negative reviews about the beach in Kuchugury. Most tourists like the fact that the beaches are sandy and the entrance to the sea is smooth, with a flat bottom. The Kuchugury beach is located on the Sea of Azov, which means that the water here warms up faster than in the coastal zone of the Black Sea. Food and entertainment on the beach is inexpensive. Accommodation in the private sector and mini-hotels are also budgetary. It is quiet in the evenings - loud music does not disturb the guests of the village. Since the village is small, the road to the beach does not take long.

Many tourists agree that the village is very boring. From the photo of the beach and the village of Kuchugury, it is noticeable that the infrastructure is poorly developed. The village is very small, cafes and restaurants are extensions to private residential buildings. Souvenirs and beach equipment are sold in the courtyards. There are no unusual, prominent locations for photos. The beach in Kuchugury is separated from the village by an earthen rampart overgrown with wild herbs - many tourists note that it looks untidy. In the photo of Kuchugur beach you will not find the embankment, although there are references. The resort's embankment is an ordinary dirt road, overgrown with weeds along the edges.

In general, rest on the beaches of Kuchugur of the Krasnodar Territory is more like a village one. Tourists looking for solitude and lack of city bustle will love it. Fans of outdoor activities will be bored. Alternatively, rent a car and explore the sights of Taman.

Panoramic view of the beach in Kuchugury:

The village with the funny name Kuchugury is located on the shores of the Azov Sea. This year we finally reached Kuchugur and really regretted that we had not done it earlier! The fact is that rest in Kuchugury is as if you came to your beloved aunt in the village. Private houses, lazy chickens near houses, all streets in flowers and fruit trees and a huge beach - that's what Kuchugury is!

If you need a quiet holiday in a village style, if you are tired of the noise of the megalopolis, the hustle and bustle of the crowd, if you are a fan of the cartoon about "Prostokvashino" - rest in Kuchugury is great! Life here goes unhurriedly, no one pays attention to what you are wearing and how thick your chain is around your neck, there is enough room for everyone on the beach, and beer in the cafe.

But if you dream of a promenade in the evenings and you have at least 4 evening dresses that you must definitely "walk" on vacation, you will not like Kuchugury. People come here not to have fun in a civilized manner, but across the sea, sun, fruits and quiet family rest.

Central beach, or "Sand placer"

The swimming area is open to those who follow the street. Coastal. There is also an isolated area within the Golubaya Bukhta sanatorium and Priboy cafe. There is something like changing cabins, as well as the opportunity to ride a banana, jet ski and "tablet". Aborigines come here with mineral water, corn and pies (for sale). There are several nearby.

Hungry badly? The nearby cafes offer set meals. It remains to mention the local dining establishments. They are - "On Gagarina", "Old Fortress", "Sea Breeze" and "House by the Sea". You can settle in the outbuildings of the usual, and it costs the same, but many, negotiating without intermediaries, manage to save money.

Primorskaya street embankment

This "artery" of the village continues the street. Coastal in a southeastern direction, although it begins at the northwestern end of the village, bypassing the street behind, and goes much southeast already in the form of a dirt road, being the longest passage of the settlement. On its left side you will see the widest strip of sand in Kuchugury. This is the second beach in the local neighborhoods.

Its length is more than 1.5 km - this is the entire southeastern part of the village. Consists of a sand embankment. But closer to the water's edge, there are a couple of stripes of large shell rock. Sunset here is shallow. In terms of relief, the surface is slightly two-stage. In some places you have to go down to the sea from the dunes of 2 meters height, densely overgrown with grass.

Beach recreation is bordered by the Golubaya Bukhta health resort, the private sector, the Emelya attractions, the Azov Riviera, Azov Bereg and Azov Pearl complexes. Sometimes (in the "off-season") the place becomes a haven for naturists, who set up their tents here and conduct photo sessions against the background of the sea.

It is also possible to see fans of picnics, fans of driving buggies, sailing, bathing a four-legged pet and snorkelling. The last difference between the "seaside embankment" is the huge wastelands, which are turned into a field for team games. It will be easier for you to get to the beach "Na Primorskaya" from the local attractions.

Beach towards the village Za Rodinu

Looking at hundreds of photos of the beaches in the village of Kuchugury, you will notice that the coast to the southeast of the named settlement has a more complex relief. However, from each hillock there is a quite tolerable dirt exit, so come.

The coastal edge between Kuchugury and Za Rodin has quite comfortable recreation, located closer to the first of the indicated settlements. You can get here through an earthen road that crosses an almost dry stream. Further, your eyes will see the last turn towards the coast (it wags along the next stream).

He will lead you to the wild beach, which stretches for 3 km - to the house of the watchman who guards the vineyards already belonging to the village of Za Rodina. The width of the coast at its widest point barely reaches 25 m. However, the sand here is excellent - clean, in terms of the absence of debris and a low percentage of shell rock.

If you drive another 2.5 km, then you will find yourself where there is the Tizdar mud volcano. A feature of the described beach is the steep sections of the coast. But even here, a dozen paths have been laid to the sea. In some places in the ground, steps were even cut down. The described wild recreation is a favorite place of autotourists.

Cape Pekla Beach

The location is located 2 km northwest of the last street of the village. Kuchugury. We are talking about the cape where the mud volcano Plevok is located, which looks like a lake or swamp. The sandy zone here is narrow, the coast quickly turns into an earthen surface with a rich emerald cover: all grass grows well on the soils fertilized with the sulphide mud of the local hills.

Tents can be placed directly on it, but not near the volcano. A dirt road leads to the cape, into which st. Primorskaya. She's well-trodden. The beach itself has a gentle slope, and the local water area is not very deep.
