The beach in Van Phong Bay will not be the closest point to Nha Trang if you are staying at this resort. But in addition to the beaches of the city, you should definitely go sunbathing and swimming in Van Phong Bay - one of the most picturesque in all of Vietnam.

    Hon Mun Island Beach

    Nha Trang, Hon Mun Island

The picturesque island of Hon Mun is located just 11 km from Nha Trang, if you drive from the South Port again in a southerly direction. This island deserves special attention from tourists, as it is a marine reserve and the best place for diving in the South China Sea.

The beach of the hotel "Paragon"

The beach of the Paragon Hotel (The Paragon 3 *) is considered a luxury beach in Nha Trang. It is located on the territory of a three-star hotel, but the entrance here is open not only to its guests. The main advantage of the beach is a well-developed infrastructure and proximity to all points of the city.

Nha Trang is considered one of the most popular and best resorts in Vietnam, it attracts thousands of tourists every year. They say so directly about this city - “the beach capital of Vietnam”, which means that you should go here just for a beach holiday. At the same time, spending time on the beaches of Nha Trang can be anything: both traditional beach relaxation and more active activities. You can spend time on the beaches not only during the day, but also at night - the best discos and open-air parties in Vietnam are held in Nha Trang.

All the beaches of Nha Trang are amazingly picturesque. It seems that tropical greenery, azure water and snow-white sand have left the advertising picture. However, all this can be seen live here. In the center of the resort there are beaches with the most developed infrastructure. There are many more vacationers here, but the service is at a decent level. Moreover, it is convenient to get here from anywhere in the city. The calmer beaches are located outside the city - here you can enjoy solitude in the bosom of picturesque nature.

They say so directly about Nha Trang - “the beach capital of Vietnam”, which means that you should go here just for a beach holiday.

The bay, near which the city of Nha Trang is located, ranks 29th in the list of the most beautiful bays on the planet. The urban beach area of Nha Trang stretches for 7 km, and the entire coastline is completely covered with white sand from the smallest particles of shells. It is thanks to the shells, which are a kind of natural filter, that the water near the shore is very clean and transparent.

Upon closer inspection, the fragments of shells are multi-colored and very bright, but on the beach itself the sand seems white.

Many consider the beaches of Nha Trang not too clean, but this is true only for beaches outside the city, for wild beaches where no one keeps clean, and even then, provided that these beaches are visited by a large number of people. Most tourists still prefer the central beaches, well equipped, which are cleaned every morning.

Nha Trang beaches

All beaches are municipal, entry to most beaches is free, but you will have to pay a certain amount for renting a sun lounger or umbrella. Each beach is equipped with showers and toilets, many changing rooms, rescue towers and a first-aid post. In a word, everything here is done for a comfortable and convenient tourist holiday.

A boulevard of tall coconut trees stretches along the beach area of Nha Trang - in their shade you can hide from the scorching sun.

Some beaches, those located on the islands, belong to hotels (for example, Ana Mandara Beach Resort 5 * or Sofitel), the rest are run by the city authorities. The beach of the Paragon Hotel is accessible to vacationers "from the street", admission is free, but you will need to pay extra for sunbeds. From the municipal ones, pay attention to the Central City Beach - it is the most crowded in the high season, to the Bai Dai beach with a length of 15 km and the beach of Van Phong Bay. Of the wild beaches, Monkey Island and Jungle Beach are worth noting.

  • Where to stay: In colorful Ho Chi Minh City - ancient Saigon, where there are both luxurious hotels and ultra-budget guest houses, and there are a whole bunch of attractions in the area. Fans of beach holidays have a direct road to the popular Nha Trang, "lazy" Tui Hoa, family Phan Thiet and surfer Mui Ne. Vung Tau will please with a developed infrastructure,

Beach in Nha Trang, what is it like? It is long. The length of the beach is about 5 kilometers. Wide. Sunbathing tourists do not occupy the entire space. Pretty clean for a city. We like the beach in Nha Trang. On the first day, as soon as they saw him, immediately there was a desire to swim in the sea and lie down on the sand.

Nha Trang beach

The advantage of the beach is that it is surrounded by mountains and islands. It's nice to walk around and see such beauty from all sides. Sun loungers belong to hotels on the coast. But you can rent them if you want. This pleasure will cost about 100 thousand dongs ($ 5).

The tower in the photo is empty, but there is always a group of lifeguards on the beach. Vietnamese lifeguards walk along the beach and look after vacationers.

Where can I order a transfer from the airport?

We use the service - Kiwi Taxi
Ordered a taxi online, paid by card. We were greeted at the airport with a sign with our name on it. We were taken to the hotel in a comfortable car. You have already talked about your experience In this article.

Sea in Nha Trang: is it possible to swim?

Yes. According to our observations, the optimal time for swimming in Nha Trang is from 8 to 10 am. At this time, the water in the sea is perfectly clean and calm. See for yourself:

The sea in Nha Trang without waves can be found until about 10-11 am

The closer to the evening, the more waves, and from this the water becomes cloudy and becomes brown. Also, by lunchtime, the current takes out the garbage, with which you don’t want to swim at all. After all, it is so unpleasant to touch something in the water when swimming, some bags or cups.

We are waiting for the weather by the sea

Perhaps the waves and the purity of the water in the sea depend on the season. In some months, it is quite possible that the water remains clear all day, but in September and October, the clear sea can only be found in the morning.

There are always fewer tourists in the far left corner of the beach (behind Nha Trang center) and in the far right (towards the cable car to Winpearl).

Who rests in Nha Trang

The contingent of vacationers on the beaches of Nha Trang consists mostly of Russian women 45-60 years old and their husbands. An interesting feature. The second line is occupied by couples with children and, last but not least, young people. Nationalities: Russians 70%, Vietnamese 20%, Europeans, Chinese and other foreign tourists - 10%.

Our observations

For 2 months of living in Nha Trang, we noticed the following features of tourists. Mostly our compatriots who have flown in from Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Chelyabinsk, Perm and other Siberian regions rest here. As a rule, ladies spend their holidays in Vietnam with their children, less often with their husbands. If with a husband, then he usually has a mustache, his face expresses slight displeasure, tense, constrained, dressed in a linen oversized wrinkled shirt and a captain's cap, always a little sloppy.

- For lunch we will take lobsters again, and then we will go to the pearl shop, which the guide recommended
- Don't forget the crocodile skin wallets!

- We'll tell Lyudka where we were - she won't believe it!

The Vietnamese go to the beach closer to 5-6 pm, when the sun stops baking and they can be calm about their skin color. They usually bathe in groups in front of the lifeguard post.

Vietnamese children are most often for some reason ill-mannered, arrogant and noisy, often get under their feet, stepping on them. For we have lost the habit of children's crying and screaming, in Vietnam, children are very capricious and naughty. It was also noticed more than once that the Vietnamese were beating them. This has not been seen in other Asian countries. And one boy was the star of the evening. Parents tried and cut his hair so fashionably that he was different from all children, passers-by could not pass by.

There are no stray bald dogs on the beach

Another advantage of the beach. For a month we have not seen a single stray dog on the beach, which is so accustomed to in other countries. The Vietnamese sometimes relax on the beach with their pets. As in Thailand, in Vietnam, purebred dogs are now in vogue. It is frustrating that the Vietnamese get themselves such small decorative dogs. More than once we observed how children-flayers behave with them. Apparently, they do not understand that a dog is a living organism, not a toy. Yes, and bikes, including on the sidewalks, can be a danger to a small dog.

Some caring owners keep their pets warm, because in October it is +27

Promenade along the beach in Nha Trang

The promenade plays a big role on Nha Chang beach. The embankment is our favorite place in all of Nha Trang because it is the only place where you can safely walk, since mopeds are prohibited on it.

The famous lotus in Nha Trang

View of the hotels from the waterfront

Vietnamese flag on the square near the lotus

In the evenings, dances and chants are often arranged near the local house of culture.

During the day, the square is empty, and in the evening, Vietnamese teenagers change from bikes to skateboards and rollerblades

On the embankment, the atmosphere is relatively calm and there is no noise from the road.

View from the road

We come to the embankment every day. We walk, sit on benches or buy nuts and settle down on the sand.

Photo of the beach from the promenade

Just a few years ago, there was no smell of any ennobled embankment here. And now even the trees are trimmed by designer.

Vietnamese and sports

Toward evening, the Vietnamese occupy the embankment for sports. Look after your figure and health. Someone runs, someone works on simulators, someone just waves his arms with a serious look. Very athletic guys!

Vietnamese do sports

The embankment makes a great contribution to the life of the Vietnamese. This is a place to relax, a place to walk the dog, a place to train and a place where you can gather and eat while sitting on the beach. For us, the embankment has become a lifeline. The only place in Nha Trang where sometimes you don't even want to go home.

Nha Trang beach reviews

For our picky taste, the beach in Nha Trang is very good. It is clean, there is plenty of space, there are no annoying merchants. The sand, however, is not ideal, large and yellow. The water in the sea is clean and transparent only in the morning, by the afternoon garbage appears, the waves intensify and it becomes cloudy. But this is most likely a seasonal phenomenon, in other months it can be cleaner, and we were in September and October. So, they noted for themselves that it is best to swim in Nha Trang early in the morning.

Since Nha Trang beach is public, everyone will rest on it, tourists from expensive hotels, the local middle class, and even occasionally Russian cattle ("tagiil") comes across. Apparently, some highly cultured citizens got fed up with Turkey and headed for exotic Vietnam. But, I am glad that there are only a few of them, basically all our compatriots here are very decent.

Rest in Nha Trang attracts tourists from all over the world with its versatility, but one of the strengths of the resort is a beach holiday. Of course, the sights, history and culture of the Asian country are very tempting, but for many they pale in front of the opportunity to lie down on the soft sand and expose pale bodies, tired of winter, to the sun.

If you are hungry for beach sprawl, you have to decide which beaches in Nha Trang are worth visiting. During my stay in Nha Trang, my friends and I visited the top places and I am ready to tell you about each.

So let's get started.

City Beach Nha Trang

The largest, most popular and easily accessible beach of the resort stretches for 7 kilometers in the shape of a crescent. This is the so-called city beach of Nha Trang.

Every tourist will visit the city beach of the city at least once, because it is along it that the vast majority of hotels and inns are located.

How to get to the city beach

To get to the coveted sand, you have to overcome one obstacle: a road with very active traffic. A feature of the Vietnamese, and indeed the Asian movement in general, is the absence of any rules. Even if you are standing at a pedestrian crossing, numerous motorists and scooter drivers will not think to let you through. To safely reach the other side of the roadway, you should slowly and smoothly start crossing the road, even if no one is stopping. The main thing is that your actions are predictable and understandable, then the drivers themselves will drive around you.

After passing this test, you will find yourself on the embankment of the city beach.

My favorite restaurants on the City Beach Embankment

She really deserves attention. A real square with benches, gazebos, neat flower beds and designer trimmed trees is waiting for you. This is a very popular place where both locals and visitors like to spend time. Here you can walk your dog, sit in a cafe, admiring the sunset and sip a cocktail, warm up on one of the simulators, make new friends and just relax. In the photo above - the city beach and one of the most pleasant cafe-restaurants in Nha Trang: Gorky Park.

We repeatedly went to the Gorky Park restaurant, where they cook delicious borscht and mashed potatoes (50,000 dong or 2-2.5 dollars). There is a large selection of fish dishes (from $3 to $15 for a non-delicacy dish), and the waiters try to speak Russian. Next to it is the Ponagar restaurant, where in the evenings a young man plays the guitar or a girl with a pleasant voice sings. Here you can order an inexpensive cocktail (2-3 dollars or 40-70 thousand dong) and enjoy the sunset or just sit looking at the sea. The Louisiane Brewhousew restaurant is also good, where for 20-25 dollars (500,000 dong) you can have a hearty meal together and drink a seafood salad and a second glass of craft beer.

Beach infrastructure and local climate

The simulators here are absolutely free and anyone can use them.

I am sure that when looking at the beaches of Nha Trang in the photo, you will surely see white sand and clear azure water. This, of course, is wonderful, but the city beach of the resort boasts only coarse yellow sand mixed with shells and interspersed with algae, which is incomparable with the sand on the so-called Bounty Beach. The sea in Nha Trang is not the calmest, although in the morning, until about 10 o'clock, the waves are small and you can swim even with children. However, the waves do not prevent adults from enjoying swimming all day long! The sea temperature throughout the year does not fall below 25 degrees, and the coldest months are December and January.

Regarding amenities: there are sun loungers on the beach, but they are paid: around 40,000 dong per day (a little less than $ 2). This is for vacationers savages or visitors. If your hotel provides sunbeds and umbrellas, of course, you pay nothing extra. There are several organized toilets on the beach, the entrance fee is 10,000 dong or 0.5 dollars. There is also a shower for the same price. You can always go to one of the beach cafes to use the restroom. As for changing cabins: we saw them only in the part where the Gorky Park restaurant is located. Although it is possible that in other places they are hidden behind trees or attached to cafes. Changing rooms are free.

Food and entertainment

You will never get bored on the city beach: there are hundreds of cafes here, locals are trying to sell you goggles, swimming gear or a light snack. Only instead of "honey baklava" and "boiled corn", as in the resorts of the Black Sea, they offer freshly caught grilled sea reptiles or banana cakes. All this costs up to $ 5 (up to 100 thousand dong), but in stores five minutes from the beach - cheaper.

There are also numerous entertainment points. What we have tried:

  • a banana ride for two lasts about 10 minutes and costs $20 (450,000 VND);
  • parasailing for about 15 minutes - 20 dollars (450 thousand VND) per person;
  • ride on a water scooter 15-20 minutes - 550 thousand dong or $ 22;
  • rent of a catamaran - 26 dollars (600 thousand dong) for 1 hour;

In the evenings, the city beach is regularly cleaned, but tourists diligently throw garbage during the day, which spoils the whole impression.

Summary

Of course, this beach is not ideal: an obsessive merchant can stick to you, cleanliness is far from being at the highest level, but because of the abundance of entertainment and cafes, there are always a lot of people here, and in particular Russian tourists. So you should choose this beach consciously, for the convenience of location or the availability of developed infrastructure. However, the privacy and natural beauty of the beaches in Nha Trang are also available, more on that.

Bai Dai Beach (aka Bai Zai, aka Bai Dai)

If it seemed to you that the city beach with its 7 kilometers is long, then what can you say about the 15-kilometer Bai Dai beach in Nha Trang? Compared to the city beach, it is not so crowded, which, however, affects the infrastructure: there are much fewer cafes and other joys of life. Even 10-15 years ago, an active military base was safely located on the site of the current beach. Bai Dai began to be promoted in the last couple of years, and at the moment this place can be considered one of the most tempting in a beach holiday in Vietnam.

Indeed, sometimes you want to lie lazy on the white sand with the quiet sound of the sea nearby. By the way, it is here that the sea is one of the calmest in Nha Trang, and the waves rise only in winter: from November to February. I think this is one of the best beaches not only in Nha Trang, but in the entire Southeast Asian region as a whole.

How to get to Bai Dai

From personal feelings, I can say that the disadvantage of Bai Dai beach is its remoteness from the city, as well as a small number of hotels nearby. That is, for peace and quiet, you will have to come in the morning and leave it in the evening. The distance to Bai Dai from Nha Trang is about 20 km. You can easily overcome them on a scooter, or you can order a taxi and be here in 20 minutes.

A scooter for a day will cost 7-10 dollars or 150-220 thousand dongs; the cost of a taxi ride will be from 450 to 650 thousand dong (20-30 dollars).

Infrastructure

If you want to know which sea in Nha Trang is the cleanest in Vietnam, then Bai Dai Beach is worth a visit and swim in gentle and warm water. Such a sea will be especially appreciated by couples with children.

I think the wildness of this place is only a matter of time. Already, several hotels are being built here at an active pace, and in the coming years, this can be observed along the entire embankment. Of course, Bai Zai will become one of the most popular destinations for tourists, and the corresponding infrastructure will appear in the shortest possible time.

Even now, beach restaurants and cafes rent sunbeds, their cost is slightly higher than sunbeds on the city beach and amounts to 50,000 dong or a little more than $ 2. You can see toilets on Bai Dai only in cafes, many people change clothes there, as there are no separate booths yet.

Doc Let Beach (Zoklet)

Not as long as Bai Zai, but much more distant - 45 km - from Nha Trang, Zoklet Beach, open to tourists and locals, is located. It takes a long time to get here, so you should allocate a full day for a visit.

Doc Let is one of the most beautiful beaches in Nha Trang. Palm trees grow along the coast, the sea is turquoise here, and the sand is white. In a word, a place as close as possible to the paradise Bounty. Waves are rare here, because Doklet Nha Trang beach is protected from them by numerous small islands.

If you are not too lazy to overcome 45 km north of Nha Trang, Zoklet is definitely worth your time and effort.

Most likely, your neighbors on the beach will be the same active and restless tourists, as well as a few fishermen who come here for their catch.

How to get to Zoklet (Doclet) beach

It is preferable to get here by taxi. The road on a scooter is tiring, so if you have someone to team up with to reduce the cost of the trip, do not miss this opportunity. The trip will cost an average of 700 to 1200 thousand dong (30-55 dollars) - which taxi driver will come across and how you can negotiate. Of course, this is the price for a trip there and back.

The bus would be the cheapest way. It runs from the center of Nha Trang (DienKhanh district) about once an hour, the final station is Zoklet. You will spend 1.5-2 hours on the road, depending on the traffic. A bus ticket costs about $1.50. You can get to DienKhanh by buses No. 1 and No. 4 in just 10 minutes (if you go from the embankment).

One way to get to Zoklet is to take a guided tour, for which different agencies charge between $10 and $30. Choose any street agency in Nha Trang or contact the Russian information center where you can buy a tour. It includes transfer and lunch on the beach. She takes the whole day.

If you are driving on your own in a rented car or bike, do not miss U Tena Cafe or the White Sand Doclet Hotel, which are the main landmarks of the beach.

Infrastructure

Entrance to this paradise is paid. For an adult, the price is 30, for a child - 15,000 dong. The price includes parking for your transport, a shower on the beach and directly staying on Zoklet. Numerous travel agencies will tell you so, and some vacationers will advise you so. But there is always a secret passage, and in this case it runs through a fishing village near the beach. You need to go through it to the very sea, and then go along the coast towards the visible cafes and sun loungers.

The infrastructure of the beach is represented by restaurants and cafes, small shops, hotels, swimming pools, rental points for umbrellas and sun loungers. Renting an umbrella and a sun lounger will cost from 3 to 6 dollars per day (60-120 thousand dong). The two most popular cafes - "U Tena" and "U Sani" - will feed you tasty and satisfying food for about 7-10 dollars per person (120,000-200 dong).

The fishing village has a small market where you can buy fruits and have a budget lunch. For two adults, for rice with seafood, two glasses of beer and one large watermelon, it took about $ 8.

Jungle Beach

Vietnam Nha Trang beaches are quite scattered from each other. So, one of the most interesting beaches of Jungle Beach is located as far as 60 km from Nha Trang. He hid behind the Heo Peninsula, but if you love the purity and color of nature, you must definitely visit it!

As the name suggests, Jungle Beach is surrounded by jungle. And there are picturesque mountains and a waterfall 12 meters high! It is pleasant to swim here after a swim in the sea - clean and cool water invigorates.

How to get to Jungle Beach

If you get to Jungle Beach on your own, then take the AH1 highway to the north of Nha Trang. As soon as you get to a shipbuilding factory called Huyndai, drive around it from the south and within a couple of minutes you will be on the beach. On the road to the beach, lay down 1.5 hours, as some parts of the route are very busy and you can drive along them at a speed of 30 km / h. Public transport does not go here, a taxi to Jungle Beach will cost from $40 (800,000 VND) one way.

Make no mistake, the white sand, rocky mountains, waterfall and jungle are worth the 60 kilometers!

Beach setting

I think fans of solitude and wildlife will definitely want to stay here. We - wanted, and rented a bungalow for the night. This can be done right on the spot, they are located a few steps from the beach and are perfectly visible. For the sake of greater comfort, you can donate a slightly more tangible amount and rent a hotel room, its average cost is $ 30.

Our bungalow was called "Homestay" and cost about $25 per night. The amenities are minimal, but for unity with nature - just what you need!

On Jungle Beach you will often meet windsurfers who come to catch waves and in 90% of cases get what they want. Due to the open area on this beach, the waves do not stop, only their intensity changes. Unfortunately, we did not find special equipment rental points, all surfers had their own equipment.

Paragon beach

You can also find out which sea is in Nha Trang on Paragon Beach. It is named after the hotel to which, in fact, it belongs.

To get to the fashionable Paragon beach, you can go through the territory of this very hotel, paying for a sunbed (the amount is around $ 3). After that, the whole day in this pretty place is at your disposal.

How to get to Paragon Beach

If you need to puzzle over how to get to other beaches of Nha Trang, then Paragon wins them in this matter: you can even get to it by public transport. It is very close to the cable car to the amusement park , With Responsibly, you will not get lost looking for it! You can get there by city bus number 4. When you reach the terminal, get off the bus and look around.

You will definitely see signs either to Paragon Beach or to the An Vien Hotel. You need to go to the beach through it.

On Paragon Beach

This beach has a small area, which is carefully monitored, so it is unlikely that you will see garbage of any origin here. The beach is surrounded by breakwaters, so the sea is calm and clean, you can safely send children to swim. Some go in for amateur snorkeling and even catch crabs here!

Personally, Paragon Beach reminds me of an expensive European quarter. Luxurious villas are located along the entire embankment, everything is very civilized and calm. Moreover, in the evenings, beautiful lighting is turned on, and you can take a walk with your loved one in a romantic atmosphere!

Sun loungers are paid, around $ 3, there are changing cabins and gazebos on the territory where you can hide from the sun and have a bite to eat or gather with friends.

Beach on Monkey Island

Monkey Island

If you have been at the resort for a long time and have already traveled all the best beaches in Nha Trang, but you want to try something new, you can head to Monkey Island.

In addition to active entertainment such as rental of jet skis, parachutes and kayaks, there are cafes on the beach (lunch for two with drinks - about $ 15) and a karting track (check-in costs 80,000 dong, about $ 4), but the main attraction is the ubiquitous monkeys, thanks to which island and gained fame.

How to get to Monkey Beach

There are several options. The easiest is to book a tour at any street agency, of which there are hundreds on the streets of Nha Trang, which will include a transfer, guide services and lunch. The cost per person is about 250,000 VND.

You can also get to the island from the North Port of Nha Trang, where you will be taken by bus number 3 in 20-25 minutes (ticket will cost 1-2 dollars) or taxi (about 15 dollars). This is where the boat starts. A ticket to Monkey Island costs 120,000 VND ($6) for an adult and half that for a child. This price is for the round trip.

Exploring Monkey Beach

On the island, some go snorkeling and even diving. This is done mainly in the southern part of the beach - it is more rocky, fish and crabs are found here. Many bring equipment with them, order diving from agencies in Nha Trang, but you can rent a mask, snorkel and fins for snorkeling right on the beach for 3-5 dollars.

Communicating with monkeys is, of course, a fascinating process, but for many it is quickly tiring. In particular, leaving things unattended is not recommended.

Naturally, you need to follow the safety rules, do not tease the animal, do not offend him, and do not grin, even if you smile with all 32 teeth (as I do in this photo). For a monkey, this is a signal of aggression.

If you're heading to Monkey Island for the day, stock up on snacks and drinks for about $15 for two.

Summing up

Which beach in Nha Trang is the best - it's up to you! A single rating is hardly possible. And yet, if we evaluate the beaches based on cleanliness, infrastructure and transport accessibility, I can draw the following conclusions:

  • city beach - ideal for accessibility, has a developed structure, there are questions about cleanliness;
  • Zoklet will give you the opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle, but if you do not want to travel far, you want to relax in comfort and cleanliness, then Paragon Beach will suit you;
  • if a good beach is more important for you than the convenience and duration of the move, then try Jungle Beach and Bai Zai, which, however, is becoming more and more infrastructure every year;

Come to Nha Trang and find your favorite!

Today we continue the story about the beaches of Nha Trang. Last week we visited Paragon Beach. This is the beach of the hotel of the same name in the south of Nha Trang. In this post, we will give our review of Paragon Beach, tell you how to get there and show how it looks.

In October, quite serious waves already appeared on the main beach of Nha Trang. The water got a little colder. We will cover this in more detail in our final post about Nha Trang in October. But what to do if you come here to relax or spend the winter at this time of the year with a child?

We were puzzled by this question. For a baby, you need a beach with a gentle entrance to the water, water warmed by the sun and without waves. There is such a beach in Nha Trang - this is Paragon Beach.

This beach is located in the city. You don’t have to drive for hours or take a tour like before and others. You can safely take a taxi for quite reasonable money - about 100,000 dong (200 rubles) and even less.

Paragon Beach is located in the south of the city, not far from the cable car to the Vinperl entertainment island in an area that can be called the Vietnamese "ruble". He is the one we spoke to.

Here is a map of Paragon Beach.

Nha Trang is one of the most popular resorts in Vietnam, where tourists from all over the world are drawn. And no wonder, because the beaches of Nha Trang offer holidays for every taste: youth with club entertainment until the morning or real relaxation in the bounty style. In this article, you will learn about all the beaches of the city and its environs.

Tran Fu city beach

Of course, the most famous beach in the area. This handsome man stretches for seven kilometers, and it is solid light sand. Its color is due to the fact that its structure is special, these are the smallest particles of sea shells. The sand is not as fine as in Phuket, but it is very pleasant, walking barefoot on it is a pleasure!

A stunning promenade stretches along the coastline, from which you can go down to the beach. Although Tran Fu is located in the city center, there is a lot of greenery around. There are lovely gazebos, benches. It is clean around, the park area and the beach are carefully cleaned, although there are foliage and branches from trees on the sand. The beach is municipal, which means that from early morning local residents gather on it to take a morning exercise, do exercises or swim.

True, it is not worth swimming here in winter. From November to March there is seasonal bad weather. The wind is picking up and driving the waves. Some daredevils, of course, decide to swim, but you definitely don’t need to go to Tran Fu with children during these months. The rest of the time - beauty! The sand heats up in the sun, at lunchtime you will have to skip barefoot to the sea. The bottom on Chan Fu is flat, gentle, the entry and depth are comfortable.

Right on the beach, you can start tasting Vietnamese cuisine. There are a lot of variegated cafes and restaurants where they cook wonderfully, especially in the part of the beach where it is located. But for those who have missed European dishes, you can also find a suitable place. Russian tourists, for example, love the Gorky Park restaurant.

Tran Phu Beach in Nha Trang is full of signs in Russian, even in the menu you can find Cyrillic.

Calm Paragon Beach

Unlike the city center, where huge waves often rise, here the place is more calm. This is a private beach.

How to get to Paragon Beach in Nha Trang?

Everyone can use bus number 4 (travel - 7 thousand dong), which goes on the third line. You need to get off at the last stop Winperl and walk another fifteen minutes on foot. First, go a little in the opposite direction to the crossroads and turn left there. Another option is to call from the final taxi (it will cost about 80.000 VND).

In general, the journey by public transport takes about forty minutes. To return back, you need to come to the final stop. Often the bus is already accepting passengers or you will have to wait a maximum of a quarter of an hour.

Features of Paragon

Beach in the truest sense of the word Paragon can hardly be called. If you look at the beaches of Nha Trang in the photo, it is immediately easy to recognize. It is more like an artificial pool in a natural environment. The coastal part of the sea is fenced off by a rock. That is, in any weather, there are no waves and debris that nails during a storm. The sand is light, so the water looks turquoise. The sandbank is wide, which means that small children will be at ease here.

Some lack the liveliness of the sea waves. But the partitioned space is quite spacious, and there is no impression of isolation. And during a storm, which can last several days, it is better to swim in such a closed beach than to admire the ramparts on Tran Fu.

Before the way back, you can rinse your feet near the villa, which is located on the edge. Behind the fence near the pool there is a hose with a tap. Locals do not hesitate to wash their feet there, and tourists use it too.

Of the minuses - the modest size of the beach, few sunbeds and umbrellas. 40 thousand dong to pay for admission (children are free) plus another twenty - for admission to the sea. There is nowhere to eat, because there is a cafe only at the entrance. It is better to take a snack and water with you if you are going to visit Paragon Beach (Nha Trang).

Picturesque Pearl Beach

This beach is quite far from Nha Trang. The most convenient way is to book an excursion (in a Russian travel agency it will cost about 33 USD, along with a snack). Now some travel agencies from Nha Trang bring groups of tourists here. It is difficult to get there on your own, buses do not run.

How is Pearl Beach different from others?

Pearl Beach in Nha Trang is little known, which means that there are almost no people on it. It is located south of Nha Trang. Entrance to the hotel (the beach belongs to it) is paid -50.000 VND. There is a restaurant on the water and a magnificent stone lighthouse. Around are huge boulders, palm trees, wooden houses on stilts - the views here are unforgettable. At least once it is worth going for beautiful pictures. If you are planning to take photos of white sand beaches in Nha Trang, then come here.

The beach is small but beautiful. During the season, the water is clean, warm, even during the day there are no waves, unlike Nha Trang. Umbrellas natural, from palm leaves. If you book a tour, drinks and fruits will be handed out to you on the beach. But in winter, the water becomes dirty: in the off-season, a lot of bags and other garbage are washed ashore.

Of the minuses - the infrastructure is not at all developed (except for a lonely restaurant and hotel) and far from Nha Trang. In general, a nice place where you will feel peace and unity with nature.

Fun Beach Louisiana

Where is it located and how to get there?

Strictly speaking, there is no separate beach called Louisiana, it is part of the city beach, which belongs to the stunning cafe of the same name. Therefore, it makes no sense to write about the sea separately - everything is the same as on Chan Fu. Louisiana is an institution with its own brewery, so true lovers of the foamy drink flock here. Indeed, it has its own pool and beach. The cafe is located near the middle of the city beach.

You can get there on foot if you walk along the city beach towards the cable car (Vinpearl), by taxi, telling the driver the name of the restaurant, or by buses No. 2, 4 or 5. The stop is called “Central Beach”, then walk a hundred meters to the lotus.

What's on Louisiana Beach?

The restaurant offers visitors comfortable sunbeds with mattresses and sun loungers near the shore. The territory is clean, well-groomed. Despite the sale of alcohol, it is calm around, the visitors do not run amok. Security guards keep an eye on the belongings of vacationers and drive away annoying local sellers.

Louisiana beach waiters (Nha Trang) serve people around the entire perimeter of the beach, quickly bring beer and snacks. If there are waves on the sea, you can use the pool. Fresh showers and toilets are also included. The price for renting a sunbed is less than two dollars, a glass of 0.6 liters of branded beer is $3 and a tail. You can guess and promotions: 3 times a week from noon to one and from four to five in the evening when buying two glasses of 0.3 liters, the third is poured for free. By the way, the beer is excellent! They give him salted nuts for free, you just need to ask the waiter.

At the tables by the pool, the Internet catches well, there are interruptions on the trestle beds. Among the shortcomings: from the sunbeds that stand by the pool, they are asked to get off after four in the evening, because the Louisiana staff prepares tables for dinner. The restaurant (as well as its beach) is open from seven in the morning until one in the morning. Cons: Quite expensive compared to other places.

In general, a pleasant place. No one runs up and sees if you took a drink to get the right to take a sunbed and splash in the pool. In the evening, there is live music on Louisiana Beach.

Desolate Bai Dai

Translated from the Vietnamese language, Bai Dai (pronounced in Russian as Bai Zai) means "long beach". He really is - stretched as much as 15 km. There used to be a military base here, it is 20 km south of Nha Trang.

Bai Dai Beach, Nha Trang, how to get there?

You can get there by renting a car or taking a taxi. You can bargain with the driver: for 500 thousand dong you will pay for the road from the city and back with the expectation. This is a common thing in Southeast Asia: the client is resting - the driver is waiting. Payment after the fact, in Nha Trang.

The beach, of course, is not as well-equipped as Tran Fu. Natural garbage is everywhere here: twigs, leaves, algae ... But Bai Zai is not in vain listed among the best beaches in Nha Trang. The atmosphere of peace and spirituality permeates everyone. The sea is clean and calm (waves only in winter). There are few people, and the scenery is mesmerizing.

If you got here on a rented car or motorcycle, you can leave them in the "parking lot". This is a small area where you can leave the iron horse. Locals take a bribe in the amount of only 5 thousand VND - for this money they will act as security guards. You don’t have to worry about transport, because for residents this is one of the main types of income (except for selling seafood).

Entertainment and prices for Bai Dai

Bai Dai Beach in Nha Trang is great for surfing: there is a decent wave here in winter. You can rent a surfboard: you will have to pay 180,000 VND per hour. They offer different boards to choose from, in poor English the owner will explain which one is best suited for what purposes. Money is taken only after the return of the board - trust.

The infrastructure is only at the very beginning of Bai Zai, from the side of the city. There are several cafes there. The menu of local restaurants offers a translation of the names of dishes into Russian. True, it is difficult to understand what a snapper or triggerfish is. And the owners often do not know a word in Russian. Local merchants are not yet spoiled by tourists, they are happy even with a tip of 20,000 dong. Prices are low and customer service is friendly.

Behind the cafes are long kilometers of wild beach with snow-white soft sand and crystal sea water. Sea debris is cleaned by the locals at low tide. The Vietnamese do not think much about disposal, they just bury the finds in the sand. The entrance to the sea does not change depending on the ebb and flow of the tide: it remains gentle, but the shallow water at low tide is small.

Fishermen are frequent guests here. They float on boats in the form of basins - it looks very authentic!

This is also a remote beach where public transport does not go. If you rent a bike, you can drive from the center of Nha Trang to the beach in an hour. You have to be prepared that the traffic is crazy: on the road, trucks and trucks drive no worse than racers, and often motorcyclists rush along the oncoming lane. You will have to drive 65 km north of the city. On your own, you need to go along the AN1 highway. When you see the Huyndai Shipyard sign, turn right.

Driving along the coast, you will see the fishermen and feel the aromas of fresh fish. You will be convinced that you did not go in vain. The place is magical, one of those that draw in the pictures. You can stay in a real bungalow. The owner is a man who is probably over a hundred years old. For $65 a day, you can live happily ever after with three meals a day. Or you can pay for a one-time visit ($5).

You can drop in between two hotels and in this no man's land everything will be free. If you will not be in a taxi, but in a rented vehicle, it is convenient to purchase gasoline from locals. At the front door of the houses you will see green bottles. Drinks are also available for purchase. In general, Jungle Beach is a heavenly place! Clean beach, not crowded with people.

You can get to Winperl (by the way, it is actually called Hon Che) by ferry by sea or by cable car. Of course, the second option is much more picturesque: you can admire the views of the sea and the islands around. The cable car starts from the central box office Vinpearl, at the Nha Trang port. The cost of a ticket for an adult is 800,000 dong (about $ 35). The price includes the funicular ride (in both directions) and entrance to all parts of the park.

Things to do?

The park is just amazing! It has a lot of entertainment, but it's easy to get lost. We advise you to take a free map and move on it.

Visitors to Vinperl say that one day is negligible for a local amusement park, you will surely want to come again. Here is an amusement park, and a slot machine hall, and a shopping area with souvenirs and decorations (prices are higher than in Nha Trang), and a water park, and electric sledges, and an oceanarium, and even a fountain show!

On the beach - as always, white sand, crystal azure water (warmer than on the city coast), an abundance of sunbeds and umbrellas and no problems in order to take a seat. You can rent a jet ski, the cost of this pleasure is about $ 44 / hour.

By the way, almost all the beaches of Nha Trang have amazing sand, which is loved not only by tourists, but also by sand flies. Insect bites are not dangerous, but they itch very much, and the wounds heal for a long time. There are remedies in local pharmacies: just show the pharmacist the bites and they will give you the medicine.

You also need to be careful with the sun. On the Vietnamese coast, even those who usually only get a tan burn out. Do not be lazy to use strong sun creams, and then the beaches of Nha Trang will leave you only pleasant memories.

The beaches and attractions of Nha Trang are marked on the map in Russian.
