How to write an image to a USB flash drive via ultraiso: preparing for recording

Insert the drive into a free slot and format the device to the FAT32 file system. When formatting, all existing data on the drives will be erased, so copy all the necessary files to the USB flash drive in advance. The utility also knows how to format drives. If you go to the "Bootstrapping" section at the top of the program window and select the "Burn Hard Disk Image ..." item, you will be taken to the recording settings menu. By selecting the appropriate item in it, the formatting menu familiar to you will open.
After formatting the drive, you can proceed to the rest of the settings. The "Disk Drive" option allows you to select the media from which the bootable drive will be created. Nearby you can put a checkbox in the "Check" item. Due to this, after recording, the integrity of the recorded files will be checked, which will avoid errors in the future. How to burn Windows to a USB flash drive via UltraISO using a folder with files

The only difference is that you do not need to specify anything in the "Image file" field, leave this line completely blank.
In the upper right part of the window there is an indicator of the overall image size. If it glows red, then sometimes when trying to write an image from the hard disk, an error pops up with the text “ New image crowded". Booting the computer from the installation media
At the time of loading, you must press the key, which is responsible for starting the BIOS settings of the motherboard. The BIOS settings menu is entered by pressing certain keys or even key combinations, and depending on the manufacturer of the motherboard, these buttons may be different. In the list below, you will find all the keys in decreasing order of frequency:
- The DEL button is the most common.
- The keys "F1", "F2", "F8" or "F10" are also used quite often.
- The "TAB" button, which is located on the left side of the keyboard and in addition to the name is indicated by two oppositely directed arrows, is used much less often for the purposes we are considering.
- If none of the above buttons works, use the combination of simultaneously pressed buttons "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "Esc" or "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "S".
If you did everything correctly, then you will be taken to either the BIOS settings menu or the Boot Menu. Boot Menu is part of a lot of motherboard firmware functionality. With its help, you can not delve into numerous configuration items, but immediately boot from the desired drive. If you got into the BIOS itself, then find the Boot tab, and in it, respectively, the Boot Menu, in which also select the desired drive. After that, we save the settings and go to reboot using the F10 key.
Surely no one doubts that UltraISO is one of the best utilities for burning discs. (in terms of recording ISO images, even the legendary NERO cannot oppose anything)... However, not everyone realizes that you can create a bootable USB stick to install Windows or any other operating system.
Are you still installing Windows from an optical disc? - Then we go to you! Unfortunately, many users still believe that it is more difficult and slower to install a system from a USB flash drive ... in fact, there were difficulties before - now it is easier than ever to write an image to a USB flash drive, and with such utilities as UltraISO or Rufus, it even questions the expediency of a DVD drive in general (why is it needed at all ... I have not used it for 10 years for sure!)

Pay attention to the message of the utility about exceeding the maximum ISO image size in the demo version. Despite the limit of 650 megabytes, I did not have any problems with recording an image of more than 4 gigabytes

Offtopic for UltraISO utility
Of course, now it is most convenient to use Rufus to write an ISO image to a USB flash drive. (this is what I recommend!) ... however UltraISO can write an ISO image to an external HDD or SSD - which of course Rufus and other similar problems cannot!
