Visa-free European countries. Visa-free countries of Europe and the cis for Russians. Countries with different entry conditions

Summer will come to Russia very soon and many of our compatriots will face the question of a trip to the sea. After all, after a long winter, you really want to plunge into the warm waves and completely forget about your problems and worries. But most Russians are embarrassed by traveling to countries where they have to apply for a visa. This process sometimes becomes quite costly and time-consuming, especially for those who live in remote areas of our country. Therefore, cheap tours to countries with a visa-free regime for Russian citizens are in great demand.

Benefits of a visa-free holiday

Traveling by sea abroad without a visa gives travelers many advantages. Keep in mind that spontaneous travel to the southern shores is only possible in countries with a visa-free regime. That is, if you suddenly have a couple of free days, and you want to spend them on the coast, then only tours without a visa will be available to you.

Keep in mind that applying for a visa will require additional costs, and before vacation, such expenses are highly undesirable for any family. Therefore, visa-free tours are always much cheaper than those that include the collection and sending of documents.

Thanks to countries that do not require a visa for Russians, travelers can even visit several countries in one trip. Our compatriots quite often use this, striving to see as much as possible and get the maximum experience from their vacation at sea.

If you prefer independent travel, rather than travel as part of a tourist group, then the question of where to go without a visa at sea should be key for you. All tour operators know that visa centers are much more willing to issue visas to organized tourists, and independent travelers may be denied entry to a particular country. Especially the British and Americans adhere to this practice. It is also quite difficult to get it issued only if many rules are followed.

Based on the foregoing, it is not surprising that our compatriots prefer a vacation that does not require a visa. Let's find out where to go without a visa at sea.

Countries where Russians will not be required to have a visa

Success is almost 80% dependent on the choice of the country. And only 20% of the success falls on the hotel and the mood of the vacationers themselves. If you are interested in where to go without a visa at sea, then our list will be very useful to you:

  • Montenegro;
  • Turkey;
  • Vietnam;
  • Thailand;
  • Dominican Republic;
  • Israel;
  • Maldives;
  • Morocco.

An impressive list, isn't it? Almost every Russian can relax in these countries, and a variety of options will make it possible not only to go to the first country that comes across, but to carefully choose a suitable resort. Moreover, we have added far from all countries to our list.In reality, there are more than fifty of them, but we decided to consider only the most popular and demanded destinations among our compatriots.

Montenegro: features of recreation for Russians

If you dream of a seaside that does not require a visa, then consider Montenegro. It has a lot of advantages over the already developed tourist routes and, moreover, belongs to quite budget countries, which is important in the context of the ongoing economic crisis around the world.

Many travel agencies in Moscow and other Russian cities offer cheap tours to Montenegro for seven or ten days. Usually their cost varies between twenty and forty thousand rubles. Independent travelers are also quite easy to get to the resorts of Montenegro - there are regular flights from many cities to Tivat and Podgorica. Round-trip tickets start at ten thousand rubles. Absolutely everyone can rent accommodation in Montenegro, besides, prices for rooms in hotels and hostels will delight Russians who save their budget. For example, a room in a good hotel in Tivat costs from 15 euros. Of course, you can stay in the most luxurious hotels in the country, but in this case, be prepared to pay from fifty euros per day.

Russians can stay in Montenegro without a visa for thirty days, you only need a passport and medical insurance. Please note that the last point is optional, but it will greatly facilitate your stay in the country. Please note that you must be registered with a special department for dealing with foreigners. If you plan to stay in a hotel or hostel, then the staff at the reception will do it for one euro. But those who will live in rented apartments will have to do it on their own. Otherwise, when leaving Montenegro, you will face a very large fine (at least two hundred euros).

Turkey: the most favorite destination of Russian tourists

We will not describe the delights of the Mediterranean and Aegean Sea in Turkey. Every Russian has experienced all the advantages of these famous resorts at least once in his life. Many of our compatriots have come here for several years in order to recharge the energy of this hospitable country for a whole year.

According to Russian tour operators, in 2017, in connection with the resumption of flights to Turkey, a real excitement is expected in this direction. Already, early booking breaks all records, and in the future travel agents hope to sell a large number of "last minute" vouchers.

According to the agreement between Russia and Turkey, citizens of our country can stay on the territory of the Turkish state for no more than 90 days. In the customs control zone, travelers receive a stamped visa free of charge. Moreover, you can enter the country several times in six months. The main thing is that the total number of days should not exceed ninety.

Vietnam: rest in hospitable Asia

Hospitable Vietnam has long gained popularity among Russians. Therefore, if you are wondering where to go without a visa at sea, be sure to pay attention to this Asian country. In recent years, a rather warm relationship has been established between Vietnam and Russia, which has made the visa policy extremely flexible.

For a tourist trip, our compatriots do not need to apply for a visa, they can stay in Vietnam for fifteen days. This is quite enough to get to know the country and spend time on the luxurious beaches of the South China Sea.

If you are planning to live in Vietnam for a longer time, then consider applying for a visa. But usually this process is not of interest to tourists who come only over the sea and the sun.

Thailand: the most affordable vacation for Russians

Holidays in Thailand have long been considered budgetary, a weekly ticket can be purchased for only fifteen to twenty thousand rubles. And you can relax in this country almost all year round. Of course, it is worth considering that rains come to Thailand from April to August, but they do not at all interfere with tourists enjoying the warm sea. The fact is that they are usually short-lived, and then sunny and hot weather recovers.

The high season in the kingdom begins in November and lasts until April, during this period the most tourists come to the resorts of Thailand. Russians can stay in the country for thirty days; upon entering the kingdom, they must show return tickets. The absence of a paid flight to any other country may serve as the basis for refusing entry to Thailand.

Our compatriots, who are ready to spend more than one month in the country of smiles, use a visa-run. This loophole in Thai law is exploited by many Russians. To get the opportunity to rest in Thailand for another month, they travel outside of it and immediately come back. This procedure can be done no more than three times.

Beach holidays in the Dominican Republic

What is the Dominican Republic? Oh, this is just a great holiday on the white beaches under the rustling palm trees. It is simply impossible to forget a few weeks spent in this welcoming country. Therefore, it is worth thinking about organizing recreation in the Dominican Republic, especially since Russians do not need a visa to this country.

To enter our compatriots, you will need a passport and a tourist voucher, which can be purchased for ten dollars right in the customs control zone. This document will allow tourists to rest in the Dominican Republic for thirty days. In the future, when contacting the country's migration service, this period can be extended up to three months. The cost of such a service does not exceed twenty dollars.

Dead Sea resorts: rest for Russians

Israel is a special country that attracts Russians with incredible historical monuments and the opportunity to improve their health. It should be noted that Russia ranks second in the world in the number of tourists going on vacation to Israel. Only residents of the United States are ahead of our compatriots, they most often choose the Promised Land as a vacation spot.

The rules for entering Israel for Russians are pretty simple. They include the following points:

  • passport valid for six months;
  • medical insurance;
  • tickets and hotel reservations;
  • documents confirming solvency.

In the event that all documents are in order, the Russians will receive a free stamp in their passports, allowing them to stay in Israel for ninety days. Please be aware that the visa waiver applies only to non-profit travel. Otherwise, you will need a visa.

Visa to the Maldives for Russians: is there such a need?

Of course, the Maldives is far from a budget vacation, but it's worth it. The island nation is notable for its incredible natural beauty, and the sea in the Maldives is difficult to describe in words, it is often called the "fairy world". Our compatriots, who prefer a beach holiday with standard entertainment in the form of diving and snorkeling, have long appreciated the hospitality of this distant island nation. Millions of tourists from all over the world visit the Maldives every year, and the percentage of Russians among them is steadily increasing.

In order for our compatriot to get to heaven, it is not necessary to receive. Russians can stay in the Maldives for thirty days by purchasing a tourist voucher for ten dollars in the customs control zone. Do not forget that in order to enter the country you will also need medical insurance and a document confirming your ability to pay (at least one hundred dollars per day).

Travel to Morocco without a visa

Morocco is a rather exotic route for our compatriots. But every year interest in this country is increasing, especially since it is actively developing in the field of tourism. The beaches of Morocco are located on the shores of the Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea, they are characterized by wide strips of white sand that looks perfectly clean.

It is worth noting that the best beaches are located on the Atlantic coast, but the water in the ocean can surprise you with its coolness even in forty-degree heat. The shores of the Mediterranean Sea are more hospitable, but the terrain itself is not conducive to relaxation - there are many cliffs and slopes.

Not needed, our compatriots can rest here for up to three months. Usually, in order to enjoy the sea and local attractions, two weeks are enough for tourists.

Of course, everyone wants to have a rest at the sea, but not everyone can afford a luxury hotel and the most expensive restaurants. What to do in this case? Just take a more responsible attitude to your vacation and plan everything in advance, and our tips will help you save a little on your travel budget:

  • try not to be tempted by weekly sea tours - in fact, they are much more expensive than longer trips;
  • try to plan your trip yourself - feel free to communicate with hotel representatives (fortunately, now there are electronic translators everywhere), buy tickets yourself and choose non-group excursions;
  • living in an apartment is an option that will allow you to significantly save on rent, because hotels always cost at least twice as much;
  • if you live in a rented apartment, you will save on breakfasts and dinners - you can cook them yourself;
  • in Asian countries it is very profitable to rent a motorbike and travel around all the sights on your own;
  • plan a vacation for a low season - at this time the prices for vouchers are reduced several times;
  • Buy all products in the markets where local residents are bought - the prices in such outlets will pleasantly surprise you.

A vacation at the sea does not have to turn into a complicated journey with a lot of paperwork and spending large sums of money. In the modern world, almost everyone can afford to soak up the sea coast if they are ready to get acquainted with this vast and wonderful world.

Vacation planning is an exciting process. The success of the trip depends on the right choice of the country for the rest. But often the possibility of travel is limited by the visa regime of entry into the country. What if there is no possibility of obtaining a visa? Choose countries where you can go without a visa.

Why should you choose a country with a visa-free entry regime for your holiday?

Obtaining a visa is fraught with certain difficulties:

  1. Impossibility of purchasing a "burning ticket". Visa processing takes quite a lot of time, so it is impossible to save money by purchasing a last minute ticket - most of these tours are sold out 2-3 days before a possible departure.
  2. Long visa processing time. This is especially true in the summer period - during the summer holidays, huge queues of potential tourists gather at the embassies.

A vacation abroad is closer and easier than it seems. For many countries, even a visa is not needed - they will be glad to see you with a simple passport. Therefore, we regularly update the list of visa-free countries for Russians.

The third category of countries, entry into which for Russians is possible only with permission, are the states that open visas for tourists right at the airport upon arrival. The procedure is so simple that in the understanding of an ordinary vacationer, countries without a visa and countries with visas at the airport are in the same category. However, in these countries, in order to obtain a visa, you need to pay a visa fee.

Visa at the border:

  • Bangladesh, Bolivia, Bahrain, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Bhutan,
  • East Timor,
  • Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Haiti, Guinea-Bissau, Ghana,
  • Djibouti,
  • Egypt,
  • Zambia, Zimbabwe,
  • Indonesia, Iran, Jordan,
  • Cape Verde, Comoros, Cambodia, Kuwait, Kenya,
  • Lebanon,
  • Mauritius, Mozambique, Macau, Mali, Myanmar, Madagascar,
  • Nepal,
  • Palau, Pitcairn,
  • Syria, Sao Tome and Principe, Suriname,

Visa cost

The cost of a Schengen visa is 35 €. However, consular officers often shift the processing of the necessary documentation to travel agencies or special visa centers. In such centers, they will help you collect the necessary package of documents, they may even provide the services of a photographer or take out insurance, but you will have to pay about 30 € for registration. Travel agencies accredited by the embassies also help to obtain a Schengen visa, but even here you will have to pay extra for the work.

Some countries issuing a visa at the airport require confirmation of the hotel reservation, an invitation or a return ticket. Such conditions are put forward, for example:

  • Antigua and Barbuda,
  • Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil,
  • Vanuatu,
  • Guyana, Guam,
  • Dominica, Dominican Republic,
  • Cuba (or proof of ability to pay in the amount of $ 50 per person per day),
  • Mauritius, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco,
  • Niue,
  • Cook Islands,
  • Palau, Peru,
  • Western Samoa, Seychelles, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,
  • Trinidad and Tobago,
  • Fiji,
  • Jamaica.

Some states, such as, for example, Myanmar or Sri Lanka, will additionally require payment of a visa in the amount of $ 30, and Sri Lanka will also request registration on a specific website.

Basically, the cost of a visa depends on the length of stay and ranges from $ 7 (Nicaragua) to $ 50 (Bangladesh, Bolivia) or € 60 (Iran, Cape Verde) - € 85 (Guinea-Bissau). In China (30-day tourist visa) and in the Comoros, the cost of a visa will be $ 100. And in Ghana, you will need to pay the same $ 100 and provide a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.

African countries prefer to calculate the cost of a visa in local currency: in Bahrain, you will spend 5 Bahrai dinars on a visa, and in Brunei - 5 Brunei dollars. Burkina Faso, Togo, CARs will require 10,000 to 98,000 West African francs.

And in Montenegro, for example, entry into the country will be free, but you will have to pay 15 € for leaving.

The main thing that every tourist planning a trip should remember is to learn as much as possible about the country where his desire to relax leads. Do not be lazy to ask in advance what documents or funds you will need to stay in a particular state. This will save you time and money even before you start your holiday!
