Manors and museums of fairytale heroes. "Where is the character registered?" Museums of literary characters in Russia. Fairy house of Owl, Rabbit and Cat in Gorky Park

Sometimes the heroes of fairy tales become so real that they are cramped between the bookshelves. They leave the pages of their favorite books, turn into monuments, wander the streets of cities and even arrange cozy dwellings for themselves. Then all over the world there are museums for fairy tale characters, where children and adults flock like on wings. After all, who does not dream of being in a fairy tale at least for a moment?

"Fairy tales are like old friends, you need to visit them from time to time", - said the American writer George Martin once. Don't waste a minute!

Moomin Valley, Finland

On the island of Kylo, \u200b\u200boff the coast of the Finnish city of Naantali, the magical Land of the Moomin trolls lurked among the dense crowns of trees. The museum was opened in 2003, and since then it has been a favorite vacation spot for local children. You will also like to look into the moomin houses, climb the tower, run around with unusual bridges and stairs. There is a blue moomin house from a book, a yellow house of Hemul with a collection of butterflies, a witch's hut, and a swimming pool.

The friendly heroes of the popular books of the writer Tove Janson walk around the museum's surroundings, delighting young visitors. You may meet Little Mu or Sniff, Moomin dad or Moomin mom.

The summer theater regularly hosts performances and shows. The museum occupies an entire island and is connected to the old part of Naantali by a bridge. And you can get here by a special moomin train.

Little Prince Museum, Japan

Surprisingly, the museum of a small hero with a big soul, created by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, is located not at all in Paris or Provence, where the writer is from, but in ... the Japanese village of Hakone.

Cozy French houses and cafes, even thousands of kilometers from the author's homeland, will take you to France, and bright thematic paintings will plunge you into the magical world of the work.

In the museum you will see not only exhibits dedicated to the Little Prince, but also to his creator. Original photographs, letters and diaries will reveal to you new facts from the biography of the writer.

Baron Munchausen Museum, Latvia

Do you know, dear friend, that the most truthful storyteller in the world - Baron Munchausen - is not a fictional character, but a real person. He lived in the 18th century and even visited Ukraine.

The Baron Munchausen Museum is located in the Latvian estate Dunte. The owners of the estate assure that it was here that the best years of the life of the baron and his wife passed. Here he pulled himself out of the swamp, planted a cherry between the antlers of a deer and flew to the moon astride a cannonball. It was here that I found my soul mate - the daughter of the owner of the estate.

A five-kilometer path leads from Munchausen's house to the sea with bizarre wooden monuments: a hare with eight legs, flying fish, etc. The Baron's museum has created an atmosphere of his time. The house is filled with hunting trophies, and at the entrance guests are greeted by the owner of the house himself, albeit in the form of a wax figure. But who knows, maybe at night she comes to life?

Harry Potter Museum, England

Eyes run up from miracles. Harry Potter fans can spend hours wandering among the mysterious scenery of the film: strolling around Diagon Alley with a bunch of shops, sitting at the dining tables of the Great Hall, seeing Mr. Weasley's flying car, and also learning how portraits on the walls come to life in the frame.

The highlight of the museum is the castle of the Hogwarts school, or rather its layout, 2.5 m high. Torches are burning on the towers of the castle, and special lighting every 4 minutes changes night to day.

After walking through the halls of the film studio, you can have a bite to eat in the "Sweet Kingdom" and buy a broom, magic wand or mantle as a keepsake.

Mary Poppins Museum, Australia

If you love the work of Pamela Travers, visit the Australian city of Mariborough. It was there, in the writer's homeland, that a house-museum dedicated to her work was opened. In front of the house you can see a monument to the author of the famous story about Mary Poppins. And nearby the estate is a coastal park, very similar to the one described in the books about the fairy nanny.

If you come here during your summer holidays, be sure to visit the Mary Poppins Festival. During the holiday, local nannies run races here, steam locomotives are launched, and competitions of kites and drawings on the asphalt are held. It will be fun!

Baba Yaga - Kukoboy

Babu Yaga was settled in the village of Kukoboi (2-3 hours drive from Yaroslavl) in 2004 and built a hut there on chicken legs. From ancient times came the Yaroslavl legend about a mysterious, nameless old woman from the back. She lived in the depths of deep dense forests, rarely anyone could see her. By the way, the locals somewhat corrected the image of the dark character. In the process of "registration" of the famous old woman, serious problems arose: the fact is that the village of Kukoboy is famous for its many temples and churches, and the priests were categorically against the settlement of the "devilry". But, despite this, everything was resolved safely, and Baba Yaga corrected herself: now she helps those in need, although from time to time she continues to hooligan. If you decide to go to the residence of Baba Yaga, then do not be surprised that first you will be taken to the temple in order to buy holy water and candles. Only with such weapons can you safely enter the Izbushka. Also, in the possession of Baba Yaga, you will find tea with famous Kukoboi pies, contests and much more. On the last Saturday of July, everyone is invited to Baba Yaga's birthday. http://babajaga76.ru/dostoprimachayelnosti/sedmaya-skazochnaya-versta

The village of Bolshoye Boldino of the Nizhny Novgorod region, where there are no rivers, but where Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin wrote the famous "Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish", is recognized as the exact place of the "birth" of the Golden Fish. Kolobok - the village of Novaya Bedenga

At first, the Ulyanovsk region tried to “stake out” the name of Cheburashka on the fabulous map, citing the mention in Dal's dictionary as a basis, but the creator of the Cheburashka image, Eduard Uspensky, strongly opposed it. Meanwhile, most of the fairy-tale characters have dismantled other cities, and only Kolobok remained in Ulyanovsk. Fortunately, the foundations here are more or less strong: local historian Sergei Petrov found the Simbirsk roots of the character in connection with the oscillation, the Simbirsk kolobok. According to Dahl's dictionary, in the Ulyanovsk province, bread made from the remnants of dough was called oscillation. This is the bun, for which the flour was scraped along the bottom.

June 2, 2012 in the village of Novaya Bedenga, the official opening of the Kolobok estate took place. The log house and the yard of the fairytale hero were cut down according to all the canons of carpentry craft of the 19th century. A stove was laid out in the hut - so that it was always warm and smelled of pies. Kolobok's backyards are located in a picturesque area. Nearby, on a pedestal, there is a sculpture of the owner of the house, next to it there are wooden images of all the heroes of the fairy tale - the Hare, Bear, Wolf and Fox.

The estate will include a number of objects: Kolobok's House, Kolobkodrom, a playground, as well as the Simbirskie Kolobok production line. "Kolobok's House" will be an interactive donut cafe (with children's and adult halls) with a souvenir shop and a "live" Kolobok, which, of course, will be an animator.

The waterman's apartment is decorated with portraits of the owner, statues of cute frog girlfriends, an aquarium with small catfish, a water mill and other attributes of the water kingdom. The idea to secure the residence of the ruler of rivers and lakes for Poshekhony was invented by the library staff, who collected the rich history of the Master of the Rivers. On a visit to Cheburashka

You don't have to go far for a fairy tale - it is right here, in the capital of the country, in the Kozhukhovo microdistrict. At the entrance you will be met by Cheburashka himself with his best friend, the crocodile Gena. There is also a real telephone booth, in which, according to legend, the character of Eduard Uspensky lived.

By the way, this part of the exposition was conceived by the writer: the most difficult thing was to find a payphone - after all, by the time the museum was created, they had not been produced for a long time! I even had to turn to the Moscow City Telephone Network for help, and a real phone booth was assembled from two retro copies.

Inside the museum there is an exhibition of children's works: more than a hundred Cheburashkas and other characters from the cartoon - and drawings, and crafts, and soft toys.

The museum conducts excursions where kids are told about cartoon characters. And here you can also see the legendary typewriter of Eduard Uspensky, on which this urban fairy tale was printed.

Nizhny Novgorod

On a visit to the Goldfish

Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region revere Rybka - she has become a real talisman of these places. And this story began a long time ago: the land in Boldino and its environs for four centuries belonged to the family of the poet Pushkin, and now this village is a cultural monument of federal significance.

Here is located the famous throughout the country literary-memorial and natural museum-reserve of A.S. Pushkin "Boldino", where visitors will learn about the three Boldino autumn in the life of the poet, which significantly enriched their native literature. After all, it was in Boldino that Pushkin wrote almost all of his famous fairy tales. The first was "The Tale of the Priest and His Worker Balda", the second autumn on the Boldin land turned out to be the most fruitful for fairy tales - the "Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Heroes" and "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" appeared. During the third visit, the poet wrote The Tale of the Golden Cockerel.

In memory of this legacy of the poet, another museum was opened in Boldino - dedicated to Pushkin's tales. The museum has many fascinating exhibitions: "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish", "Thirty-Three Bogatyrs", "The Tale of Tsar Saltan".

The main part of the exhibits - magnificent panels and silk stained-glass windows, dolls-characters of Pushkin's fairy tales, embroideries and products with cloisonné enamel - were created by children in the workshops of the Author's Center for Artistic Crafts in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region. In addition, there are works by professional artists, masters of Gorodets painting.

Tula

On a visit to the master Lefty

The nugget master once glorified Tula, and now he continues to live here in the historical part of the city, on the banks of the Upa River, but already in the form of a bronze monument. From time immemorial, gunsmiths have settled here, including the founder of the dynasty of the first Russian industrialists, Nikita Demidov, and his descendants.

Not far from the monument is the six-story building of the Museum of Weapons, stylized as a helmet of a Russian soldier. During the excursion, the name of the master will sound more than once - children and parents will be told about the glorious history of Tula, about its craftsmen and, of course, about Lefty himself and his unique works. And in Tula, there are incredibly delicious gingerbread cookies - try it yourself and take it as a gift to your family and friends!

The Snow Maiden was born on the Shchelykovo estate in the Kostroma region, which belonged to the famous playwright A. N. Ostrovsky, the author of the fairy tale about the snow beauty. Granddaughter of Santa Claus can be safely considered the brand of Kostroma, she has become a real VIP person here. Local entrepreneurs decided to turn to the origins and did not lose: the tourist complex, where the most interesting object is the tower of the Snow Maiden, has no end of visitors all year round.

In the courtyard of the tower there is a huge stone: "If you go to the right, you will lose your horse, if you go straight ahead, you will get to the Snow Maiden in the tower." And there is also a slide from which in winter you can slide down on wooden sleds - modern, but exactly repeating the old sleds. Opposite the teremok is a belfry: be sure to go there, ring the bells and appreciate their crystal melody.

A visit to the Snegurochka's mansion will be interesting for both large and small guests: here is the Ice Room with refreshments, and funny games on the Snegurkin Compound, and the most exciting - an interactive program, during which you will be accompanied by Domovoy, Domovikha and the learned cat Bayun. You will hear Slavic myths and legends, watch a puppet show and, of course, meet the granddaughter of Santa Claus herself.

The Ice Room is considered the pearl of the Snow Maiden's tower. This hall is open all year round, and it is always winter in it: the temperature here is -14 ° C. Decorations on the walls, sculptures, and even dishes were made of ice by Kostroma craftsmen. In the Ice Hall, children are invited to taste fabulous sweet drinks, and adults - something stronger from ice cups. And do not be afraid to freeze - in summer, before a visit to the room, guests will be given warm clothes and felt boots.

Rostov the Great

On a visit to Alyosha Popovich and Emela

In addition to southern Rostov-on-Don, there is also the city of Rostov in the middle zone, which presented the country with an epic hero, the famous Alyosha Popovich. By the way, the hero is quite real: today scientists have found a lot of evidence that the hero Alyosha was really born in this city in the XII century, in the family of a priest.

Since 2010, a popular excursion program “Visiting Alyosha Popovich” has existed in Rostov the Great. During the day, you can visit three excursions at once: "Unique crafts" (a visit to the Rostov enamel factory), "All roads lead to the Kremlin" (a tour of the local ancient Kremlin) and a visit to the Spaso-Yakovlevsky monastery, where you will be accompanied by the hero and his beloved Nastenka. The program includes initiation into bogatyrs and Russian beauties, fun, fun and national games, and in the end - gifts for participation in competitions!

Rostov is rich in fairy-tale characters - Emelya also lives here. In summer, the city regularly hosts festivals "By the Pike's Command": a procession is headed from Cathedral Square to the city park, led by Emelya himself, riding, as he should be, on the stove. In spring, Shrovetide festivities are held here, where guests can taste delicious fish soup in addition to traditional pancakes.

On a visit to Kurochka Ryaba

Ermakovo

On a visit to Kurochka Ryaba

The fairytale hostess of the museum appears here in different guises: with a golden egg, and as a book illustration, and an ordinary laying hen. An entire room is set aside for a variety of Ryabs, and in the other two halls there are expositions dedicated to the life of peasants and the work of the local poultry farm. In the summer in Ermakovo they organize a merry holiday "Visiting the Ryaba Hen" - with mummers in chicken costumes. And here you can also taste eggs, but not golden, but simple and very tasty!

Murom

On a visit to Ilya Muromets

The fabulous epic hero Ilya Muromets was there, according to legend, lying on the stove for 33 years, and then went to defend the Russian land from enemies. In the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery there is a sculptural image of Ilya Muromets with a particle of his relics, and in the Murom History and Art Museum a whole exposition is devoted to the epic hero - old chain mail, armor and weapons, engravings and icons. The museum also has an interesting interactive program for tourists: Ilya himself and Krasavitsa with a roll will greet guests, there will be epics, stories about feats of arms and “Dedication to heroes and heroes”.

Poshekhonye

On a visit to Toptygin and Vodyanoy

The Toptygin House Museum is quite small: it's just one room, but what a! There is even a real bear den, and children will be able to see in detail how it works. In addition to the den, the museum exhibits a hunting storage, many exhibits on the "bear" theme and two huge stuffed animals of the owner of the forest. By prior arrangement, an interactive tour with games, contests, hunting bikes and tea (honey from a real deck!) Will be held for you. And Poshekhonye is also called Yaroslavl Venice - after all, the village stands on five rivers. It is not surprising that Vodyanoy lives here: his official residence is located in the children's library. In the dwelling of the Waterman there are portraits of the owner, statues of his frog girlfriends, an aquarium with small catfish, a water mill and other attributes of the water kingdom. Vodyanoy and his colleague Kikimora amuse the guests, sing songs and treat everyone to the soup.
