Fortunately, we managed to find information about the flight in the invoice that I paid. We took off and arrived on time at 12-50 local time. We went to the taxi stand, showed a voucher with the hotel's address to the driver, to which they immediately heard that there are no such addresses. The voucher said HOTEL, below ADDRESS, below TELEPHONE, below FAX. Of course, we decided that this phone and fax is the hotel's phone and fax. They called on the phone - the phone is off. We called the fax - the fax works on the machine. Later, our hotel suggested that it might be the phone and fax of the host.
The driver talked to other taxi drivers and said that he knew our Sun Beach Resort (this name was written in the voucher) and he took us. After 40 minutes and 30 kilometers, he brought us to another hotel with a similar name. Everything around was so deserted and wild that there was no one even to ask about the right road. I had to go back to the airport, as the drivers near the hotel where he brought us said that judging by the hotel's fax code, this hotel is located in Hammamet, and for this you need to take not a city taxi, but an intercity one. Upon arrival at the hotel, there was a long swearing with the taxi driver who took us to the wrong hotel. He demanded 40 euros and connected the police. As a result, they gave him 20 euros and fell behind.
We got into an intercity taxi, the driver said that there is no Sun Beach Resort hotel. Look for another name. Luckily, I took with me an invoice that had a more correct name for the hotel: Caribbean World Sun Beach Resort. Then the driver said that I know Caribbean World - this is a group of hotels in Hammamet and one of them will be called Sun Beach Resort. We tried again to call the hotel phone (as we thought then), which turns out to be a mobile phone and was turned off. I think that during our trip we called there 30 times, and it was always off. By the way, the taxis had their seat belts torn off, no air conditioning, and we were still in warm clothes from Germany, and there it was already +30 degrees in the shade. We went to Hammamet (80 km from the airport there). We arrived at the Caribbean World Beach Resort - they say there is no reserve for us and their hotel is not Sun, then to another hotel, then to another. And still nothing. As a result, in one of the Caribbean World hotels they decided to help us - they began to call all Caribbean World hotels in Tunisia. It turns out that there were about 20 of them, and in each Caribbean World there was a hotel with names like Sun Beach Resort. In the end, only thanks to the patience of the woman at the reception, the correct hotel was found - they confirmed that we were registered with them. The taxi driver said that we would not be lucky anywhere else until he received a payment guarantee, since he had already traveled 180 km with us and spent more than one hour, guarantees were given, since the intercity taxi was not so easy to find. After another 60 km and an hour of driving along terrible roads with views of the industrial zone and landfills, the right hotel was found. The driver was paid 150 euros (he also gave us a discount, the price of a taxi is about 1 euro per km, and here so much time was wasted looking).
We arrived at the hotel at 18-40, i.e. the road from the airport to the hotel took more than 5 hours. The hotel did not want to accept us, since we have vouchers without the necessary information (which I do not know, I think because almost everything was written there incorrectly: hotel name, address, telephone, fax, etc.), I I also gave them an account and only then they gave us the keys and accepted us. There was an industrial zone around the hotel, and it was scary to leave its territory. Everything was fine in the hotel, a huge territory, of course it does not pull 4 stars - 10 years ago it may have been 4 stars, but there was a super-duper animation team, a lot of sports, Tunisians are very friendly and speak Russian. We rested beautifully until the wind changed its direction….
We arrived at the hotel on September 17th, on September 22nd, during the evening show, a terrible stench went. The feeling is that you put your head in the trash can. At first everyone decided that they were just taking out the garbage, but this stench continued. Everyone ran to the numbers, so the nausea was already coming. You can't open the window - it stinks. Close the window is very hot. Although the air conditioners were stated in the hotel description, they did not work, some of the sockets were also broken, the TV worked strangely too - you press "increase the volume", and it decreases, you press "increase the channel", and it decreases, and so on. Nevertheless, we decided to close the windows - better heat than this horror. This stench passed at about 3 am - I could not sleep, so I know the time for sure, I'm not used to sleeping in the trash can. The wind has changed its direction. This smelly show was repeated on average every other day when the wind changed direction. I managed to find out that there is a poultry farm not far from the hotel and this smell comes from there, the animators also said that this was always the case at least 2 days a week and they got used to it. As a result, instead of getting better, we all lost weight - we could not eat because of the smell of rotten meat.
Construction is underway near the hotel (there is still a new hotel or buildings for this hotel), fortunately we were lucky and we lived far enough from this place, but many had windows on this view and the noise did not give them the opportunity to sleep during the day when it was impossible to get out in the sun ... I think that construction has been going on there for a year, and it will continue for several years.
The rest was ruined ... Upon arrival home, my son plays at the hotel, builds blocks of blocks, a pool, a beach, and builds a large pipe next to the hotel. To the question "what is this?" - answers - this is a pipe that stinks to those who are resting. This is his main impression of the rest.

For almost everyone, the hotel offers all-inclusive tours, which is very well described here: http://all-inclusive.narod.ru, but for all inclusive you can always get water from the tap, as well as a sprite, cola and phantom, mixed with the same tap water. In order to get it, you need to stand in line, which moves so slowly, as it always grabs glasses. There are no beach towels, the sunbeds are old and broken, and the whole beach is covered with umbrellas (a rusty iron pipe with an iron rim on top and straw is laid on it), which only get in the way. There is a water park on site, but you have to pay for it (but what about all-inclusive?), There is to shoot archery or play golf, but when there are 2 clubs and two bows for 400 vacationers, consider that this is not. The food in the hotel is good, but on the second day you will get tired of eating bony fish and liver and sucking bones from turkey and chicken (the fact is that they did not give legs or wings, they gave chopped bones with leftover meat).
Cleaning the room - smearing the sand, changing the bed - just refilling it (we learned this by the presence of sand in the bed - the child brought it, and it was lying - the bed did not change!). Change of towels every day, even when not necessary, but it looks like this: in the morning at 9 am they took all the towels, and at 3 pm they brought them back. And the fact that those who get up at 10 in the morning (for example, I sometimes got up like that) or who came from the beach in the sand at 12 and wants to go to dinner after a shower - there is nothing to wipe off. Hanging up the "DO NOT DISTURB" tag doesn’t help - it’s all the same they push through the room, even if you’re standing in panties in the bathroom or without them - they still don’t say “sorry” and don’t leave, but communicate with you as if it should be ...
All information on the hotel is classified - you will not know how to use the telephone in the room, you will not find a TV remote control, an iron, that you are entitled to a safe, or you will not know about the work of restaurants on the territory of the hotel and that there you are entitled to a free dinner in these restaurants and do not learn much more! You will find out all this when you check out of the hotel, since there is no information in the room. Even when the canteen is open, learn from other vacationers.

Good afternoon everyone! I am very skeptical about website reviews, because each of us has our own wallet, view of the world and our priorities in life. But those who left negative reviews about this hotel are absolutely right! We bought a ticket through the tour operator Express-Tours to this "amazing" place called Magic Caribbean Monastir 4 *. Yes, yes, I was not mistaken in the name, if you look at the voucher. But upon arrival in Tunisia and disembarking at the hotel, we were at the doorstep of the Caribbean World Monastir. And that was where our adventures began ... First things first: 1. Check in at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel early, somewhere around 6 am (because there was a night flight). We did not know that this hotel consists of two parts (two separate independent receptions). At the reception, we gave all the necessary documents to the hotel employee and he, in turn, for an additional charge of $ 20, offered to speed up our check-in. Naturally, upon arrival in Tunisia, we wanted to settle in the room as soon as possible and start spending our vacation with all the amenities, we agreed. We were given the key to the evil bungalow 600. We were also charged a tourist tax (an innovation in Tunisia) in the amount of 40 dinars for two, but even then they decided to cheat and cheat us. They gave a denomination of 100, and the hotel employee decided to hand over the change in local currency in dinars at "his" rate. We immediately protested and demanded to return the bill and paid the tax in dinars (fortunately, we had them on hand). 2. Bungalow room. The room itself is a quiet horror, so to speak. Dampness in the room, dirty bedding (it is not known at all whether it is changed or not), a non-working refrigerator and a view from the balcony of the 1st floor of the bungalow to the trash heap with horse manure under the windows. Naturally, we went to demand a replacement number. And then the show began. The employee, under the pretext that now there are no free rooms, suggested that we approach him with this question at lunchtime. Okay, come to lunch. All the same answer, no, come back later and right there before our eyes it is populated by crowds of local Arabs (this season there is a whole cloud of them in front of the school !!!). Not tolerating such an attitude towards myself, remembering the entire English vocabulary, at the level of a cry, I expressed everything that I think and demanded to return the money. The room was immediately found and we were moved to another bungalow. The room was slightly better than the previous one. We learned that the hotel consists of two parts in the evening, when we went for a walk around the territory and came across the second reception. It was radically different from the first and, most importantly, was located near the sea. Other buildings (!!!) were not bungalows, but the buildings were also located near the sea. Naturally, we decided to achieve resettlement in any building, rather than vegetate in a bungalow on the outskirts of the hotel. In total we have moved 4 times. In the building room it is civil and pleasant. The rooms were cleaned poorly, there was no soap in the room for several days (in public toilets too). 3. Restaurant-dining room. There is really a lot of food: there is poultry, beef, lamb, fish ... various side dishes, sweets, pastries and various fruits. But there were really not enough dining places ... tables after other vacationers were not cleaned due to their debt. Dishes: plates, cups, spoons (!!!) were sorely lacking. It almost came to a fight over dishes. Local vacationers (Arabs) behaved extremely outrageously in the queues for food. The drinks other than the bottled water in the hotel bars did not inspire confidence. 4. Beach. The beach has a sandy entrance, but there is dirt, whether it be seaweed or drink wrappers all over the place and in the sea itself. Beach entertainment - camel, defecate (kakal) everywhere and on the sand where children play and in the sea. Naturally, nobody cleaned up the camel. During the day this happened several times and so on from day to day. Plastic beds and mattresses were not enough. We had to take places in advance at 6 in the morning and the "well-wishers" were always there to take the sunbed. 5. Animation. There are animators, there are many of them, but they are silent. They walk back and forth around the hotel and that's it. The head of animation showed liveliness towards vacationers with children only in order to snatch (sell) T-shirts with the name of the child and a logo on the back ... a kind of business of animators - printing on T-shirts. More and more animators are not heard. Somewhere by the pool with slides, a list of entertainment is announced, and if you are lucky enough to hear and make out the speech that somewhere they are playing volleyball or water polo. The animators take away the balls for games, give them strictly from whistle to whistle. Evening animation takes place after dinner. First a children's disco - 30-40 minutes, then for adults. There is also a disco club working from 23.00 - 02.00 at night. 6. Water slides and sea water pool. The pool is large with various depth levels. The water is sea water, but every morning a pool cleaner poured a bucket of white powder into it. Many vacationers have had skin irritations. Basically, local (Arabs) with children swam in this pool and did not climb out of the pool for hours (!!!). Near the pool, in the area where you can have a snack before lunch, there was one single toilet, which was very rarely visited by local (Arab) vacationers. Disgust to swim in the pool discourages any desire to go into the water. We rode the water slides a couple of times. The fifth point very strongly felt all the joints of the slides, so there was no desire to ride again. The result. We were in Tunisia for the third time and really have something to compare. In this hotel, the attitude towards Russians, Europeans is bad ... they respect their local Arabs. If you have finances and common sense, it is better to look for a more positive hotel than the Caribbean World Monastir. All a good holiday and nerves of steel.

Two days ago, our family returned from Tunisia. We were in this country for the first time, and we traveled from Biblio Globus for the first time, and probably for the last time. We have been traveling for many years, traveled from different tour operators, and, to be honest, we have never had any complaints about the quality of the provided rest. It is a pity that the company does not value its name. I will not write a poem, although it is boiling and there is something to say.
The hotel, which is offered as 4 stars, does not even pull up to a three. You will not find such rooms in a 4-star hotel even in a 3-star hotel. The first day was just a shock from what he saw:
- cracked walls and ceilings;
-in the bathroom, the tiles on the floor are worn out, the mirror is rusty, the white curtain is in color, sorry, childish surprise, the shower on the support does not hold;
-the corners in the room are chipped, the door to the balcony opens with a creak;
-Bed linen is yellowish .....
There is a lot to write about the number, but detailed photos were sent to the travel agency where the tour was purchased. When we contacted the reception and the guide with this question, we were told that it turns out that we have a good room, I wonder what a bad room looks like. In the evening before going to bed, they caught a huge cockroach, then they could not sleep.
Dear employees of "Biblio Globus", in a 4-star hotel drinks cannot be offered in plastic cups, especially with the all-inclusive system. This is nonsense, this is disrespect for vacationers, we are not on a city beach in a beer tent, horror. We shouldn't set the table for ourselves and run around the restaurant looking for napkins, forks, etc. I am sure that after June you were "bombarded" with claims and complaints about the quality of this hotel, almost only our compatriots rested with us, and imagine that everyone was shocked and the whole rest was indignant.
Now a little about the beach. The very territory of the beach is wonderful, the sand is of extraordinary beauty. the sea is warm and beautiful, but ... Camels and horses are chased along the coastline all day along the beach, and these are living organisms, and here we are, like in a Russian village, to get into the water, we jump on the sand, so as not to please, sorry, in a bunch you know what. For several days the sea was stormy, sooooo many algae were thrown ashore. Cleaned in all hotels around, but not in ours. We went for several days to swim in the territory of a neighboring hotel, since it was simply impossible to enter the sea with us, the seaweed lay in "stacks" (the photo is also attached to the agency).
There are a lot of questions for you. If such a tour was purchased as "burning" and somewhere in the passage God knows from whom and at half price, probably no one would be surprised, but dear, PEOPLE contact you and trust you, and expect to receive what they pay for , and what they earn. You can't deceive people like that. think about it.
Thanks to the animation team who tried their best to entertain people (they were also shocked by the hotel).
In the first days of being on vacation, the mood was like this. which is no longer in Tunisia. But then we realized that the country had nothing to do with it, and the people here are friendly, and the country is beautiful, and the nature, and the climate. What is now not as beautiful there as it was before is due to the political situation, and soon everything should be fine there. We would like to return as a family to this wonderful country, but now only through another tour operator, trust, sorry, no longer.
