Seliger - a water basin on the slopes of the Valdai Upland, consisting of many shoals, branches, backwaters, rivers. Of these lakes, Shchuchye is the most famous among fishermen, which is still really abundant in pikes. Crayfish are caught in the northern White Lake. There are many mushrooms, flowers and berries on the island.
One of the attractions of Khachin - Copanka, a man-made channel about three meters wide, dug in the nineteenth century by the builders of the Nil's desert. The channel connects the western and eastern shoals of the lake. On a raft along Kopanka, you can proceed to one of Khachin's water bodies - southern Beloye, or go to the Nilovaya Pustyn - an architectural structure of the 17th-19th centuries, located on Stolbnoye Island.
