Chaika metropol 4 sunny beach. Reviews of Chaika Beach Resort. What is personal data

In general, I liked the hotel, here are the main pros and cons: + Great music. Everything is thought out with good taste. It does not sound loud and does not interfere at night. Every day something new. For example, a day - Latin American music, then house / techno, then hip-hop, and again house ... no pop and boring hits, just wonderful dance rhythms. Many beautiful Romanian songs. + Two large swimming pools, which are rarely found in hotels of the same class. - the capacity of the central air conditioner is barely ...

Rest in the hotel "Chaika Beach" 5 * on Slynchev Bryag (Bulgaria) left contradictory impressions. We had a rest with the whole family, consisting of 4 people - parents and two children in July 2009. At first everything seemed good. We were given a very large room - an apartment on the 6th floor with a sea view. We were happy because there was more than enough space for our family - the room was about 60 meters, including a huge balcony around the perimeter, since the room was at the end of the building. The room is cozy ...

Hotel reviews 2009 of the year

They said that former President of Bulgaria Todor Zhivkov used to stay in this hotel for a vacation ... I think he would not stay there now, but the hotel is still considered one of the best. And by appearance he is probably the best on the coast. A lot of hotels are now being built in the resort itself, and if the old ones were called Rusalka, Dolphin, Crown, Flowers, now more and more Palazzo, Amadeus, White House are appearing ... It's a pity, the Slavic flavor of Bulgaria is being lost. In Chaika we had breakfast and dinner, but ...

Avgust 2009. Govoryat, chto v Bolgarii vse oteli odinakovye: snaruzhi - simpatichnye, no vnutri - uzhas. Chaika Beach imenno takoi. Privlekatelnym vneshnim vidom vse ogranichivaetsya. Na ogromnoe kolichestvo gostei v otele restoran prosto ne rasschitan. Stolov postoyanno ne hvatalo. Tarelok, vilok i nozhei - tozhe. Kogda prinosili tarelki, to oni byli ploho vymyty s ostatkami edy i myla. A neschastnyi narod tolpilsya v poiskah svobodnogo stolika. Kormili nevkusno, poetomu my hodili est v restora ...

“We rested in two couples from 22.06.2009 - 30.07.2009. We were not in the“ Chaika ”itself, but in one of its buildings“ Arcadia-Metropol. ”If it were not for the great company, the impressions would have remained simply awful. .. The service is just disgusting !!! The constant lack of space in restaurants, because I understand that the hotel simply could not cope with the number of guests. What is a change of linen - we never found out, the towels were simply not changed throughout the stay And to our naive question, what's the matter - just answer us ...

We rested in the summer of 2018 with two children, 4 and 8 years old. More was expected from the hotel, but there are many drawbacks. The furniture in the room is old, the doors are slack, the advantages are a sea view, but they paid extra for it, and a modern flat TV. The breakfasts are monotonous, there is no wifi at the hotel, even paid, the staff at the reception is unfriendly to answer questions, and the fire alarm worked several times at night. Rooms are cleaned regularly. And the biggest plus is the proximity of the sea and the embankment, the result is solid 3 stars, but not 4.

My friends. This hotel is just PPC! In general, I strongly do not recommend it. Better to rent an apartment from Granny and live there. The details are below if you have the patience. It's a shame that you can't attach a photo! When we chose the tour and looked at the photos, drooling began to flow! Sunny Beach, first line, a snow-white hotel with a large enough pool! And the reviews on the sites seem to be good and the operator gave his recommendations. We were delighted, bought, flew in, settled in ... And then it started. You say good housekeeping? God forbid, once every three days, the floor will come and wipe and throw towels. New towels? Aha! Schazzzz. I go to the cleaning field and ask my girlfriend to give me a towel. She communicates and it is good that he did not begin to dry himself right away. All over the towel there are black spots, such as remain after my girlfriend washes the carcasses from her eyes))))))) It is necessary to remind about cleaning several times every day at the reception. And not the fact that they will remove it. The rooms are really big, with a huge balcony and a great view of the pool. But the state is a pipe. everywhere there were smudges, as if the numbers were filled by the neighbors from above. And not only here. went to visit friends - there is the same story. dirty walls with holes)) The hole was left by an angry guest)) I was very pleased with the bathroom. Well maintained and with strong water pressure. Taking a shower is a pleasure. We only had breakfast and for 10 days it "became boring". The dishes don't change. Scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee. In Russia, I feel that I will not eat these dishes for a long time.)))) There are a lot of Turks and Arabs. They grumble on their own, even plug your ears. Yes, and at night in the corridors of the hotel bargain. In general, I strongly do not recommend it. Better to rent an apartment from Granny and live there.

We have long wanted to visit Bulgaria. And now the dream has come true. The hotel itself produced in general good impression... The minuses were not critical, the pluses were satisfied. But I'll make a reservation right away, the hotel is not for everyone. My friend and I are not even thirty, so the party orientation of the hotel was high for us. However, for those who are accustomed to Bulgaria as a quiet recreation area, I think it is worth choosing a different accommodation. The room is larger than usual, with a mini-kitchen: kitchen furniture, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker and even a set of dishes. None of us was eager to cook anything, let alone wash the dishes, but perhaps someone will need this option. Half board meals. Quite varied. Traditional breakfast and very very good delicious dinner. They usually dined outside the hotel, so gastronomically, this further enhanced the effect of diversity. The hotel pool is large as standard, there are enough sun loungers for everyone. Animators were entertaining by the pool every day. Guys, respect you! The sea is good. The rest was a success!

Excellent youth hotel. We rested with a young man from June 29 to July 6, 2015. We arrived very early, and we had to wait a while for the check-in, because they check in at 14.00 and we were warned about it. So we were ready. We were offered to leave our belongings in the luggage storage room. The room is closing, and our suitcases were also closed and wrapped in plastic, so this fact did not frighten us. We were settled at 12.00, because the room was ready earlier, in the Chaika building. A room on the second floor with a telephone, TV, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker and a set of dishes. Central air conditioning, worked perfectly. No complaints about the service. Bed linen was changed every other day, towels - every day, dirty dishes were washed. With regard to nutrition, it is very diverse. We took breakfasts and dinners. Enough and even very much. The dishes are varied. Lots of fruits and vegetables. There were enough plates, forks, glasses for everyone. Dirty dishes are immediately removed, tables are wiped. Never once faced with the fact that it was dirty, there was not enough food or there was a war over appliances. The pool is good, there are a lot of umbrellas and sun loungers. Animators worked. Their program was not similar every day. It was fun to play water polo or townships. Before the trip I read the reviews and was horrified, I thought the rest would be ruined. But the impressions are the most positive. Thanks to all.

  • Bulgaria, Sunny Beach resort, hotel Chaika Beach 4 *
The flight is very fast, only two and a half hours, the bus to the hotel is also quite fast in about an hour. In total, at 21:00 we were already at the hotel, settled instantly. From the unpleasant - our suitcase was opened, the lock was broken, the suitcase was opened, the clothes were turned over, nothing was stolen. There was nothing to steal, swimsuits and dresses, apparently the size did not fit. The fact that the lock was torn off deliberately, and that it was not accidental that it broke from the blow itself, I am sure, since it is clear that the suitcase was opened, the inner zipper was unbuttoned and the clothes were turned over. Well, since the suitcase does not close, I had to take a safe, it costs 7 leva a day. And I saw this trouble already in the hotel, i.e. when I took my suitcase at the airport, I didn't even notice. It was too late to do something.
There were 20 minutes left until the end of dinner, we were hungry, so we ran to dinner. We had breakfasts and dinners. No lunch and no alcohol. Beer and wine could be taken in a hotel restaurant for separate money, but it cost 4 times more than in ordinary restaurants. I liked the food at the hotel, there is a lot of meat, and everything is delicious. There were many fruits: nectarines, peaches, plums, grapes, grapefruit, apples. Better, of course, to take only breakfasts and go somewhere to have dinner, it's more interesting. They say and write a lot about Bulgarian cuisine, but since I am rather indifferent to food, I have nothing to add. Very cheap wine there, for the price of a bottle of beer. There are, of course, more expensive ones. Breakfast was always bacon, just like in American movies. But my favorite omelet in Turkey was not there. More precisely, it was, but there is a bunch of eggs already fried and dumped in one bowl. And in Turkey (and in Tunisia and in Egypt) a portion is fried with you for your beloved. More beautiful somehow. Well, and tastier, I guess.
The hotel has two pools. One outside, closer to the sea, and one inside. The indoor pool has fewer people, in the morning there is a shadow from one building, and in the evening from the opposite. And it's funny to watch how people crawl after the sun. The sun loungers are free of charge by the pool and umbrellas too, they belong to the hotel. City beach, there are also sun loungers and umbrellas, there are 7 leva sunbed and 7 leva umbrella, you rent for the whole day. Those. you pay in the morning and use it until the evening, even if you leave for lunch you can still come back later. You can lie for free on your towel on a narrow strip of sand in front of the very sea or behind paid loungers, i.e. far from the sea. And here and there it is not convenient, because you lie on the sand, people walk by all the time and splash sand, although not on purpose, but grains of sand are poured by the wind. Sandy beach. And the beach itself is sand, and the entrance to the sea is one sand, there are no pebbles, no shells, the legs are very pleasant. The hotel is on the first line, i.e. very close to the sea, between the hotel and the beach there is only a sidewalk, no restaurants, no stalls (but other hotels have a farther sea). Therefore, we lay by the pool, and went swimming to the sea, then returned from the sea, took a shower to wash off the salt and lay on the sun loungers by the pool. The place must be taken from early morning, otherwise you will not lie down later. We took turns getting up early, as at 7:10 everything was already busy. And in the evening it is impossible to occupy, because late in the evening, everything that remains by the pool and on the sun loungers (including towels) employees put in a common heap in the corner.
The sea was colder than the Mediterranean and our pool was cold, even colder than the sea, I could only stay in it for 2 minutes. Once there was a storm at sea, and the entire coast was covered with green algae. There were waves and these algae washed ashore, carried them to the shore and 15 meters from the shore the sea was in algae. It was disgusting to go into the sea. But there were no jellyfish, and there were no "pliers" and "pliers" even once. All reviews are filled with comments that, they say, some small creatures bite all vacationers in the sea. There was nobody.
The sun is very gentle, not like, for example, in Turkey, there after 12 I tried to hide in the shade, but still burned out. And in Bulgaria from 9:00 to 17:00 in the sun, I have never used sunscreens. The tan is very, very beautiful and even. And dark. And no burns. Even the shoulders are fine. I don’t know what it’s connected with, maybe it’s already August, or that my skin is prepared by Turkey, or what the place is, the climate is different. The sun and weather were great.
There is a tradition in Bulgaria that shocks me. Leaflets are hung on the doors of houses, on them a photo of a person and it is written that such and such died so many years ago and we are sad for him. And there is literally such a leaf on every gate. And even at the entrance to our hotel there were two of them. Somehow creepy.
The Bulgarian language is very funny. You understand him directly. The words are very similar. For example, if someone speaks Bulgarian, then you can understand. You can't say Bulgarian, but you can speak Russian and they also understand. No communication problems. In words, most of the word is similar. For example, pig-pig, open-open, years-years, I know-know, well, etc. Those. it was easy to understand each other. Especially if not a conversation on philosophical topics, but simply ordering in a restaurant, or with a maid. It's even interesting to "chat". On TV, the film was in Bulgarian, they laughed so hard, it was a little clear where it was from the picture, where it was intuitive, where English subtitles helped.
A short history of the first morning. I woke up early in the morning from the cries of seagulls. Before, it turns out, I had never seen seagulls so close, since I did not know that they scream so terribly. And they scream really awful. When I woke up, it seemed to me that this child was howling, and not just crying, but already squealing and choking, I woke up in fright and panic, it seemed asleep that something bad was happening, and I needed to run somewhere and save someone. Then she listened and realized that it was a seagull. I calmed down, but really wanted to drink. The refrigerator is empty in the room, but since I woke up I have to go buy it. I got up, got dressed, took 100 euros and went to look for an exchanger and a store. It was 5-6 in the morning, there were already people on the beach, some even swam, but the exchangers were still closed, and I did not even try to make purchases for a 100 euro note. I walked around the hotel a couple of circles, noticed three exchangers (still closed), found a store and returned to my room with a strong feeling of thirst and unmeasured 100 euros. And it seems like there is money, and you still want to drink.
In the evenings, vacationers walk along the embankment. You can leave the hotel and walk along the coast, along the main promenade, so to speak - the Promenade, where all the entertainment is concentrated. And if there are a lot of people during the day, then in the evening there are just crowds. Everyone walks back and forth, strolls, shows themselves and admires others. There are many souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants along the embankment. There are artists sitting there, drawing both from nature and from photography, their works are presented. In the portraits, sometimes ordinary people (really, someone ordered their portrait and then didn't buy it because they didn't like it?), Often Hollywood stars (well, that's understandable, it was specially painted to show their skills). Selling a wild amount of costume jewelry, Chinese for sure. A small train runs along the second line along the road. It seems worth 3 levs, we did not ride, we wanted everything "tomorrow-tomorrow", yes, we did not have time. You can also rent an electric car and also ride around the resort, or an electric scooter, you have also seen bicycle rentals.
Mini golf is popular at the resort. There are a lot of different mini-golf courses, it costs almost everywhere 10 leva, but we found it for 7 or even 5. Pay per person. You can play as much as you want in time (anyway, it gets boring for more than two hours).
Pigs or chickens are fried on a spit in restaurants. It all looks very appetizing, especially before dinner. Also on the main Promenade, grandmothers sit and crochet, immediately selling their products. Mostly napkins and tablecloths. And there are a lot of these napkins. And it's relatively cheap. A large tablecloth is about 350-500 rubles.
One evening we went to a restaurant called Melnichka. It is located quite far from the sea (the line on the third, probably), on the right, if it has its back to the sea, I cannot explain more precisely. The restaurant is located on the mountain, you can see it from afar, thanks to the windmill, which decorates its facade. The mill turns and starts to light up in the evening. In the evening, a show begins in this restaurant, young women and men dance in Bulgarian folk costumes, sing Bulgarian songs. Even a competition with the audience is held. And at the very end, the audience is gathered in a round dance, taken to the side, to where the fire had been kindled beforehand, the man pulls away the coals and then runs over them with his bare heels. For entertainment, the lights are turned off and only coals are lit. Before stepping on the coals, the man yelped, then ran over the coals, stomped on the unheated one, and again, screeching-jogging over the coals. Whether he really ran barefoot or whether his trousers were pulled over his heels is unknown to us. But we even almost quarreled, because some argued that this was only for the show and his heels were firmly protected, and some wanted to believe in good light and argued that this is the same concentration of fortitude, and the desire for perfection, that this learn, and we are just jealous. The show is in this restaurant on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Perhaps I will note here that the portions in restaurants are quite large. Whole pans of food, and that's for one fragile me. So it's more correct to take one hot dish for two. Almost all restaurants have happy hour, which means that if you order one non-alcoholic cocktail, the second is brought free. Maybe something else applies, but we only got the second portions of soft drinks. By the way, this "happy hour" lasts all day.
We had dinner once at the Tanya restaurant. Our friends from their tour operator had a 10% discount coupon for this restaurant as a gift, so we went. And when they brought the bill, there were extra cakes and mineral water, which we had not ordered. They called the waiter, said that we didn't eat it, he apologized, brought a new bill without these fake positions. And we realized that we shouldn't try to save money. We did not pay too much, but we were offended at them for trying to cheat, and left very little tip. By the way, in the same restaurant, a friend wanted a melon. I just suddenly wanted a melon and that's it. Melon is not on the menu. She called the waiter and said she wanted a melon. He said he would ask in the kitchen now. Then a boy ran out of the kitchen in a cook's apron and ran off somewhere. Then the melon was brought on a plate, cut and peeled. We understood that the boy drove and bought a melon at the nearest fruit stand (50 meters). By the way, they took it inexpensively, only 150 rubles per plate with slices of chopped melon.
We did not go on excursions. Somehow nothing interesting was offered. We went to Old Nessebar... This is a tiny town on the peninsula, it is only 380 by 800 meters. Streets and houses. Along the perimeter of the peninsula there is an asphalt path along which cars can pass. It is located very close to the Sunny Beach resort, we took an ordinary city bus for 1 lev. The first thing upon arrival was decided to take a dip, which was immediately done. The beach there is bad, or rather it is not there at all. It's a small peninsula, there from the sea, to the road (for cars) about 15 meters. And the beach is two meters. There is nowhere to lie, so we bathed, the wind blew over us and forward, to admire the sights. I read about Old Nessebar on the Internet, that, they say, there is silence, comfort, ancient city, old houses, narrow streets, romance and beauty, a city of 40 churches, some of them destroyed, but the ruins are worth seeing, etc. In fact, there is trade there. From photographs it seems that a quiet, cozy, calm place. But in fact, it is very noisy, crowded and somehow stupid. Since this peninsula attracts a large number of tourists, the locals take the opportunity to snatch goods in them. Thus, everything is in shops there, selling Turkish clothes and local souvenirs. All these streets are lined with stalls with Turkish consumer goods and local souvenirs. Moreover, they are so closely packed that you can see neither houses, nor antiquities, nor destroyed churches. Trade only. And of course, no silence and romance. Bazaar. There are many more cafes and restaurants. Shopping and food. No culture, culture. We walked through the streets, ate a freshly caught fish in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea and returned to the hotel. It turned out to be the most expensive lunch we have in Bulgaria. But the sea view. Judging by how long we waited for the order, the fish, as promised, was just caught.
Our flight was not delayed for long, flew without incident :)
