Clean beaches in Pattaya with clear water. All beaches of Pattaya: detailed description of the beaches of the resort. Swimming seasons in Pattaya

Pattaya is considered the resort capital of Thailand and is largely due to the huge number of entertainment and attractions available from this city. As for the sea, it is not of the best quality here, however, you can relax on the shore. In the article we will tell you which are the best beaches in Pattaya in the city, and which beaches you shouldn't swim on at all. However, first things first ...

Because of the huge flow of tourists, Pattaya turned its best beaches into an obscene state, no joke - when, in an already muddy sea, packages and other garbage float, and I don't even want to talk about the composition of this water.

If you are aimed at a sea vacation, we recommend that you consider options with a trip to, or the beach of a dancing girl, especially if a child is resting with you. And yet, to say that there is no beach holiday in Pattaya is impossible, for this we have compiled a small rating of beaches, which we invite you to familiarize yourself with. The beaches are ranked from worst to best:

 1. Central (Pattaya Beach).
 2. Jomtien Beach.
 3. Dongtang (Dong Tarn Beach).
 4. Cozy (Cozy Beach).
 5. Wongamat Beach.

Central beach

All the worst that you can imagine is concentrated on this coast of Pattaya, and this is us about the purity of the water. Here she is not just dirty, but too dirty. On the coastline itself, everything is not so bad, a standard beach with sun loungers (chairs) and sunbathing tourists.

The national composition of tourists is huge. There are Russians, Asians and Indians. There are many Europeans, etc. From the exotic, there are quite a few trances, girls of easy virtue, as well as the elderly European "macho" who buy companions for themselves for the entire period of rest, you will immediately recognize them ... Also, young people are very fond of walking in this area , but the truth is, already in the evening.

The main plus is its location. Proximity to the center allows walking to any cafe or massage parlor in the heart of the city, since everything is more expensive here.

For reference, on some beaches, in order to get to inexpensive infrastructure, you will have to get there by transport, because of the remoteness, or walk for a long time.

There are many more disadvantages. So, besides dirty water, this:

 • a large number of people (especially noticeable on the embankment, as it passes next to the beach line. Tourists constantly scurry in both directions, and it is not easier on the beach);
 • obsessive merchants (in addition to food, they constantly offer all kinds of excursions, tattooing, soft drinks, etc.);
 • a huge amount of water equipment (jet skis scurry back and forth, boats are moored, tourists are being loaded and unloaded);
 • too noisy (the abundance of tourists creates an indescribable cacophony of sounds, which is no longer so noticeable over time);
 • smells (the abundance of smells is striking, how in the same place can smell and stink at the same time. To say that there is a constant stench on the central beach is impossible, but there are places that are frankly unpleasant for the sense of smell).

As for the beach, the sand here is yellow, like everywhere else in Pattaya, a little rough. The ebb tides are very noticeable, which occur almost every day in summer, from early morning until evening.

Well, the main disadvantage is the road that runs along the beach. It's loud and dirty ...

If you live nearby, then the maximum that you can recommend is to sunbathe here, but not spend your entire vacation on it, because there are much more interesting, picturesque and clean places.

Jomtien Beach

Jomtien Beach has not gone too far from the first option. This is a huge elongated beach, which is divided into three parts according to location:

 1. Northern.
 2. Central.
 3. Southern.

The water in the sea in the north and in the south is invariably dirty. Debris can be found in the water (not only algae, but also human waste products such as bags or bottles). Well, there are periods when an invasion of jellyfish occurs, and it becomes unclear whether these are packets, or jellyfish. Brr ...

Jomtien is also prone to low tides, and here the situation is the same as on the central beach.

The coastline is also different. There is sand, as elsewhere, but the width in the north is greater than in the south (on the south side, in some places, the water rises to the sidewalk). Accordingly, there are more people in the north than in the south. The contingent here is also different. If you don't want to watch exotic personalities, move to the center, because they all cluster in the north.

There are enough cafes, makashnits, souvenir shops, prices are lower than in the center, but higher than in the depths of Pattaya. There is also a fruit market here.

For 10 baht, you can go to the center on a tuk tuk.

Jomtien Beach is notable for its good landscape and here you can take a photo against the background of the Ko Lan island visible in the distance or shoot a video.

Along the beach there is a wide promenade on which palm trees are planted and in some places it resembles Miami, albeit remotely, but it does.

There are sun loungers on the beach, and in the evening it is important to have time to take the ones on the first line, because, despite the presence of disadvantages, the evening landscape is mesmerizing.

In Jomtien, there are no such unpleasant odors as in the center, as the authorities tried to remove the garbage from the water.

Dongtan Beach

Dongtan Beach is a blue lagoon, but not because of the purity of the water, but because of the presence of people with non-traditional sexual orientation there. For some reason, it is here that there are a lot of them, so homophobes are better off skipping the review of this beach, anyway you won't really like it there.

In general, Dongtan Beach is quite good, by Thai standards, the beach, and even, according to reviews, in the high season there is the purest water.

The sand is like everywhere else, the tide is like everywhere else.

There is a wide walking path next to the beach, which is pleasant to walk along in the evening. The beach itself is located in the Pratumnak area, which in itself is considered the most luxurious of all areas of the city. But, this assignment to the highest caste also affects the prices, which are a little overpriced here, but what a sin to hide. They are not that tall. Compared to Phuket.

Here, as elsewhere, during the period from July to October it will be unpleasant to swim, since during this period there are a lot of jellyfish (they have some kind of season, or something).

Cozy beach

Cozy Beach is already considered a pretty good place compared to the options listed earlier. It can be put on a par with the best beaches of Pattaya with hotels, since the hotel of the same name is located on the shores of Cozy Beach, the places in which, by the way, end up two months before the expected date of arrival.

What about the beach itself. It is not crowded here, and there is no such a huge crowd of people, and this is largely due to the difficult climb that must be overcome when returning from the beach. There are no shops here either, they are all up the stairs.

The sun beds are not standard, as on the rest of Pattaya's beaches, but they are quite recumbent and on it you can naturally fall apart lying, and not half-sitting, as in other places.

The coast, as elsewhere, is yellow sand, coastal debris (we suspect that it is brought from other beaches, the sea is one thing).

There are low tides, and quite often, but in the high season the sea approaches almost to the sun loungers.

The bottom is muddy, it is not very pleasant to walk, especially at low tide, and the sea itself is dirty, you can see jellyfish. One plus. There are no sharks in such water, it's too dirty ...

Getting to Cozy Beach is not very convenient, as tuk tuks do not go to this area, so you have to fork out for a taxi or walk. Below is a map, I think you can figure it out. Beach opposite the marked hotel.

Wongamat Beach

And, finally, the Wongamat beach, the most suitable for a beach holiday. The area around Wongamat is surrounded by a large number of hotels (there are hotels with both one and five stars) and condominiums, so the main disadvantage of the beach is the lack of infrastructure nearby. To get to a more or less inexpensive shop, you will have to leave the beach, and you will have to climb to the tuk tuk (the ascent is not difficult, about how to climb a mountain in the Pattaya park area, on Pratumnak).

The rest of the beach is quite decent. The water, in comparison with other places, is more or less clean (albeit unclear) and, most likely, only here we would have dared to swim if it were not for the choice of Pattaya or the island.

The sand here gives off whiteness and, perhaps, this is the merit of the coastal hotels, which want to have a good view in front of the hotel and thus attract guests.

Hotels with beaches

For those who prefer to relax in a hotel that has its own beach. We have compiled a small selection. So, the best Pattaya hotels with a private beach

Let's not go far from Wongamat Beach, where the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Hotel is located.

This five-star miracle has not only its own beach, but also a huge water park, so there is plenty to turn around. There are several accommodation options. But alas, all of them are far from budget.

Another five-star hotel, the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, is also located on Wongamat.

If we draw a parallel between these two hotels, then the differences are in the absence of a water park in the second option, and everything is the same: several restaurants, swimming pools, a spa and a magnificent view of the sea, oh yes, high prices.

Slightly lower in the price category is the Adriatic Palace Hotel Pattaya.

The hotel is located in Jomtien, and even despite the presence of its own beach, we recommend swimming in the pool, which is made in European style, like everything in this hotel.

Ambassador City Jomtien is located a little further.

You can drive to it along the highway leading from the center. The well-decorated area will not leave indifferent any tourist. Well, the service, of course, is not in last place here.

The Cozy Beach Hotel is located on the Cozy Beach.

Despite the three stars. It has its own beach, which is quite rare for such hotels. More details can be found below.

Well, and, probably, one of the most visited hotels in Pattaya, located on Wong Prachan Beach, this is the Garden Sea View Resort. It also has three stars to its credit, and good reviews from tourists.

So, there are beaches in Pattaya and not all of them are as dirty as it seems at first glance. Compare. Choose and write your impressions in the comments.

The cleanest beaches in Pattaya are Wongamat and Jomtien. Keep in mind, clean - this does not mean that the clear sea and white sand - it means that garbage does not float in the water. In our opinion, the best Pattaya beach in terms of a combination of factors is Wongamat.

The most secluded are located in the Pratumnak area. Here you can choose a hotel on the first line, for example, Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel. Consider the fact that the beaches throughout Thailand are municipal, so they are available to everyone, not just those living in a nearby hotel. Accommodation on the first line is also worth looking for in the northern part of the city - in.

There is a gay beach in Pattaya - if you are a man and do not want special attention, not by foot. All rumors about a large number of nudist beaches are nonsense, Thailand is a largely puritanical country, even for a public kiss you can get arrested. The culture is as follows - at home do what you want - but in public you have to behave modestly. For the same reason, despite the large number of go go bars, you will hardly see anything frank.

All the beaches of Pattaya are rather dirty in comparison with other resorts. If your trip to Thailand is for the sake of a beach holiday, then it is better to choose another place, or go every day to.

Videos from the main beaches of Pattaya

Today we will provide you with information about all the main beaches of Pattaya, show photos and make a brief description of them with all the advantages and disadvantages. We will also tell you about the best beaches that are located in the vicinity of Pattaya and which you can very easily get to yourself.

As a rule, when choosing a particular hotel and area to stay in Pattaya, most tourists are guided by several criteria, such as the availability of shops and markets nearby, the availability of public transport, entertainment and, of course, the quality and cleanliness of the beach. There are very few hotels in Pattaya that have their own private beach. Perhaps the most famous of these is the Ambassador City, which since last year has banned access to its territory for all outsiders. So the vast majority of tourists in Pattaya use public beaches.

Pattaya beaches on the map

Along with Central, Jomtien Beach is one of the two largest beaches in Pattaya. Jomtien Beach stretches for four kilometers along Jomtien Road, where all the most popular hotels in the area are located, as well as a huge number of all kinds of cafes, restaurants, shops, mini markets, currency exchange offices, tourist kiosks selling excursions, etc. Those. there is everything a tourist needs for a comfortable pastime.

Due to such a large size, Jomtien Beach is very diverse in terms of conditions for recreation: somewhere the coastline is very wide and there is an opportunity to run and play various active games, and somewhere it is quite narrow, sun loungers are literally near the water. The same can be said about the cleanliness and tidiness of this beach. Somewhere the sand is cleaned very thoroughly and regularly, and somewhere the garbage is practically not monitored. But in the high tourist season, from December to March, local entrepreneurs still try to keep the beach in proper condition. But when the flow of tourists to Pattaya is sharply reduced, then Jomtien Beach is occupied by locals and the beach takes on a rather deplorable appearance. Thais don't really care about the environment.

From active entertainment on this beach there is a windsurf rental, a large volleyball court (opposite the Pattaya Night Market), jet ski rental, and of course banana rides.

Photos of Jomtien Beach in Pattaya:

Next to Jomtien Beach is another very popular Pattaya beach - Dongtan. Due to the large number of gay people who, for some unknown reason, prefer to relax in this particular place, it is also called the main gay beach of Pattaya. But to be honest, it didn't seem to us that the concentration of gays and lesbians there is higher than anywhere else in the city, although who knows. In any case, Dongtan Beach makes a pretty good impression, it is very different from other beaches in Pattaya. Its main feature is the presence of a cozy well-groomed palm grove, where it is very pleasant to hide from the scorching sun and, for example, have a small picnic. There you can also use the services of local masseurs.

Pratumnak Beach is one of the cleanest and most well-groomed beaches in Pattaya, and also has a fairly wide coastline, which is perfect for lovers of active pastime and independent recreation (without renting sun loungers).

The beach area is regularly cleaned and maintained in almost perfect order (as much as possible during the high season).

Also on Pratumnak Beach there is a shady grove in which you can hide from the sun.

Active entertainment on the beach: banana boat ride, jet ski rental.

Cozy Beach is the most unusual and most atypical beach in Pattaya. It is located far from the bustle of the city, in a quiet place behind Pratamnak Hill. Being on this beach one gets the feeling that you are relaxing somewhere on the island, but certainly not in the city.

You cannot get to Cozy Beach by public transport. You need to go there either by bike / car or by taxi. For those who are staying in South Pattaya or in the Pratumnak area, this will not be too expensive.

There is another beach right behind Pattaya Park water park where you can have a good time. This beach is quite small, but quite clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance of the tower, so for those staying there, Pattaya Park Beach will be an ideal option for relaxation.

Active entertainment on the beach: banana rides, rent jet ski, windsurfing, two volleyball courts..

The largest, noisiest and relatively dirty beach in Pattaya. Mostly Europeans rest there, for whom the quality of sand and water does not play a special role, the main thing is that there is a taichka and beer at hand; or those who are just too lazy to go to Koh Lan or any other city beach.

There is nothing to do with children on Central Beach. A very busy road runs along the entire coastline with continuous heavy traffic and constant traffic jams. This circumstance has a corresponding effect on air quality and noise production. So it’s hardly possible to rest there in silence.

And Pattaya Beach is also famous for the frequent cases of divorces of Russian and foreign tourists for money for allegedly damaged jet skis. So it is strongly discouraged to rent water equipment there.

But in general, despite all its shortcomings, Pattaya Beach is a very beautiful city beach for everybody. In the high teristic season, everything is pretty decent there in terms of cleanliness and order.

Very nice clean beach in North Pattaya (Naklua area). It features a wide coastline and a large amount of quality sand, on which it is very pleasant to sunbathe without a sun lounger. It is also believed that it is on this beach that the cleanest sea water in the city of Pattaya is. Perhaps this is so, at least in appearance the water does seem to be quite clean.

We believe that the main disadvantage of Wongamat Beach is the lack of places where you can hide from the scorching sun. Rare palm trees planted along the coast do not help at all.

Wongamat Beach is located far from busy roads, so it is very pleasant to relax there. Along the coastline are the most expensive and prestigious hotels in Pattaya (which actually keep the beach clean), as well as several cafes and impromptu massage parlors with stunning sea views.

While walking along Wongamat Beach we came across a super star of the world strongman, Mikhail Koklyaev. So we can say that Misha and two other quality people recommend this beach.

 1. Pratumnak Beach;
 2. Dongtan;
 3. Wongamat;
 4. Cozy Beach;
 5. Jomtien;
 6. Central beach.

There are 5 main beaches in Pattaya. North Pattaya, Central, Pratumnak, Jomtien and Na Jomtien. Which beach in Pattaya to choose? I will tell you briefly about all the areas so that you can orient yourself where it is better to stay.

Pattaya districts and all beaches

We are often asked in the comments and by mail - advise a good beach in Pattaya. I will say right away that the best beaches in Pattaya are located outside the city. These are Koh Lan Island, Military Beach and Sattahip. In Pattaya itself, the beach holiday is mediocre, since the waters of the Gulf of Thailand are far from crystal clear, the sand is yellow and rough, and you can often see garbage in the water.

WONGAMAT BEACH (NAKLUA). NORTH PATTAYA

Many tourists consider Wongamat Beach to be cleaner than Central Beach and Jomtien Beach. Basically, yes, we agree, on Wongamata the water really seems cleaner. There are fishing boats on the left, we do not recommend swimming there, as there may be garbage and even rats. And starting from the sun loungers of the Centara hotel, the beach is refined and quite swimable by Pattaya standards.

 • Where to live:

A pedestrian embankment runs along the coast. Also, there is no road between the sea and the hotels on Wongamat, like on other beaches.

In addition to Wongamat, in the north of Ptt there are 3 more small and little-known beaches.

In general, the Naklua area is good for relaxation. It is relatively calm and quiet here. The center can be reached by tuk-tuk for 10 baht and 20 minutes. There are shops, cafes, massage parlors. Prices do not differ from other areas of Pattaya.

PATTAYA BEACH. CENTRAL PATTAYA

Beach holidays in central Pattaya are perhaps the least attractive. The beach is large, but there are a lot of people, boats and scooters are everywhere. The sea is dirty, there is often garbage in the water. If you want to swim in the sea every day, we recommend choosing a different area.

 • Description and photo:
 • Where to live:

The beach in central Pattaya, as well as the central area itself, is the most populous. At any time of the day, crowds of tourists of all nationalities of the world walk along the embankment. While in other areas the tourists are mainly Russian and European, in the area of the central PTT there are many Chinese, Indians and Arabs. Also in the center there are all sorts of murky personalities, beggars, gopniks, drunkards, etc., from one glance at which, you want to move away.

Most of the bars and nightclubs are concentrated in the center. On the left is the famous Walking Street. It is in the center where there are most prostitutes and trances. There are several red-light districts here.

The center is a place not only for parties and entertainment, but also for shopping. All major shopping malls, Central Festival and Harbor Mall are located here. The construction of a new shopping center Terminal 21 is underway, as in Bangkok.

We do not recommend staying in the center with children. Although, readers wrote us reviews that they felt great with a child in Pattaya. Also, we do not recommend this area for those who want privacy and silence, you will definitely not find this here.

PRATAMNAK BEACH. PRATUMNAK BEACH

Pratumnak Hill is the next area south after the center and before Jomtien. It is separated from the center by a hill with a big Buddha. It's quiet and calm here. Few bars. There are no discos. Most Russians live and rest on Pratumnak.

 • Description and photo:
 • How to get there: Transfer from the airport to Pratumnak>
 • Where to live:

Beach holidays on Pratumnak are much better than in the center. There are no large crowds of tourists, no numerous speed boats. The hotels are not separated from the sea by a road. A beautiful view of the island of Ko Lan opens up.

Where can I book an airport transfer?

We use the service - KiwiTaxi
We ordered a taxi online, paid with a card. We were greeted at the airport with a sign with our name. Drove to the hotel in a comfortable car. They have already told about their experience in this article.

The Pratumnak area can be roughly divided into 4 separate beaches.

The Pratamnak area is suitable for a relaxing holiday, if you do not need clubs and bars, you are not interested in trances and prostitutes. Nevertheless, you can always hop on a tuk-tuk and in 10 minutes get to the center, where all this is.

Video of Pratumnak Beach

JOMTIEN BEACH. JOMTIEN BEACH

Our favorite beach in Pattaya. The coast stretches for several kilometers. There are sun loungers with umbrellas and plenty of natural shade along the length. In terms of swimming and beach recreation, Jomtien is undoubtedly better than the center. There are no speedboats or crowds of tourists. Calm and quiet. Beach activities are available in the form of scooters and bananas.

The disadvantage of Jomtien is that it is separated from the hotels by expensive. During the high season, Beach Road is heavily trafficked and often jams. But crossing the road is not difficult and not dangerous. Usually everyone drives slowly.

One of the advantages is the embankment. Here you can walk for hours along the sea in the shade of trees. Or grab a snack and dine overlooking the sea while watching the sunset.

Another of the advantages that we noted for ourselves, this area is more lively than Pratumnak or Wongamat. Life is in full swing, everywhere on Beach Road there are cafes and makashniki, satisfied tourists walk along the embankment, retirees sit on the shore with secrets.

Also on Jomtien is the famous Jomtien Night Market. At the market you can not only shop, but also eat Thai food very cheaply. And recently, many tents with Russian cuisine have appeared there. You can have a hearty meal for two for 200 baht! And cheerful music will cheer you up.

Unlike the center, we always walk around Jomtien with pleasure. Therefore, we recommend this area to everyone, first of all, for recreation. In Jomtien, you will have a good beach, and many places where you can eat inexpensively, and massages, shops, travel agencies. And if you want to party, you can always get to the center in 15-20 minutes by tuk-tuk.

Videos of Jomtien Beach

NA-JOMTIEN

This area goes just after Jomtien. It starts conditionally after Chaiyapryek Street. The beaches here are freer and deserted. Approximately the first half of Jomtien can be reached by tuk-tuk. The area is completely quiet. No noisy bars. There are few tourists. Civilization is also less and less, the further you move away from Jomtien. 7-Eleven stores and massage parlors are also nothing.

AMBASSADOR BEACH

This is the conventionally called the beach of the hotel of the same name. There are also several other popular hotels nearby. The sea is noticeably cleaner here than on the other central beaches. But keep in mind that this area is very remote from Pattaya. There is a small market on site. Seven and the Mimosa entertainment complex are nearby, but there is nothing else here. You will have to get to Pattaya by tuk-tuk with a transfer for about 40 minutes. Therefore, choose this area only if you are planning on vacation just lying on a sun lounger all day, drinking cocktails, visiting a couple of excursions and maybe once going to see the city.

BANG SARAY BEACH

This beach is the farthest. Accordingly, the problem here is the same as in the case of the Ambassador - very far from everything. It takes about an hour to get to the center on a white tuk-tuk along Sukhumvit with a transfer. But the water is cleaner, a quiet area and close to the Military Beach. You can stop in Bang Saray if you are going to sunbathe and relax on the sand. Bangsaray is not suitable for young people who want fun, shopping and sightseeing.

Pattaya beaches outside the city. Where to swim in Pattaya

Tourists often dare to climb into the sea and on the central beaches. But still, you see for yourself, the water is muddy, there is garbage in the sea, there is little pleasant. Pattaya is definitely not a seaside resort.

But don't be in a hurry to get upset. There are several nearby beaches where the situation is radically different. Some can be easily reached on their own, others can be taken on a guided tour, since you cannot get there without your own transport.

ISLAND OF KO LAN

Let's start with the most popular and easily accessible island in Pattaya. Koh Larn is located opposite Pattaya and can be seen from all beaches. And if in the Ptt itself the water is cloudy brown, then just an hour away by ferry you will find transparent blue water and white sand! If you are going to Pattaya hoping for a good swim in the sea, then be sure to go to Koh Lan! You can get to the island by ferry for only 30 baht. Ferries leave from the pier at the end of Walking Street. PS: On Koh Lana, admission is free, but you must rent sun loungers (from 50 to 100 baht)

MILITARY BEACH. SAI KEO OR BLUE LAGOON

Sai Keo Beach is located about 30 km south of Pattaya. Tourists come here either by their own transport or with a guided tour. It is called a military man because it is located on the territory of a military base. Military Beach is great for swimming! There is clear water, sandy bottom, depth comes gradually, there are no waves. Nice ennobled territory. There are several beachside cafes, free showers and toilets. When traveling on your own, please note that entrance is paid - 100 baht per person.

 • Description and photo:

DANCING VIRGO BEACH. NANG RAM BEACH OR SATTAHIP

Nang Ram Beach is less popular with Russian and European tourists; many Thais rest here. Although, it seemed to us more effective than the Military. Nang Ram, by the way, is also a military man. You need to pay 20 baht to enter the territory. Perhaps this is the only mainland beach in the vicinity of Pattaya, where the water is bright blue. You can get to Sattahip on your own only by your own transport. Another option to get here is to buy a tour at any street travel agency. The excursion program includes just a transfer from the hotel for the whole day and sometimes even lunch is included in the price.

 • Description and photo:

Lots of beaches and each one has its own pros and cons. We evaluated them on three dimensions:

 1. Water purity: "Five" - this is where in calm weather the bottom is visible at a depth of 3 m.
 2. Landscape: how beautiful the panorama opens from the beach.
 3. Infrastructure: access to shops and inexpensive cafes.

All the beaches of the city are on the Pattaya map, and below is the rating of Pattaya beaches:

Beaches within Pattaya City

5th place: beach in central Pattaya (Pattaya Beach)

 • purity: 1;
 • landscape: 3;
 • infrastructure: 4.

Here is the dirtiest water in Pattaya. There is also a road along which cars rush past the beach. But along it there are many shops and makashniki with cheap food.

3rd place: Cozy Beach

 • Cleanliness: 3;
 • landscape: 4;
 • infrastructure: 3.

Located at the foot of Pratumnak hill. The quality of the water is changeable, from time to time, rubbish floats in it. For food in the shops you need to climb the steep stairs.

1st place: Wongamat beach

 • Cleanliness: 4;
 • landscape: 4;
 • infrastructure: 2.

The sand is light and clean, there is practically no debris in the water. But the whole coast is built up with hotels and condominiums, so it takes longer to get to the shops.

The best beaches around Pattaya

White sand, azure water ... Yes, mainland Pattaya can boast of such beaches! You just need to drive a little further.

Hat Nang Ram Beach

 • Cleanliness: 5;
 • landscape: 5;
 • infrastructure: 4.

The beauty of this beach can compete with the best beaches in Thailand... But it also has disadvantages: it is shallow, and the bottom is rocky in some places. Food costs from 30 baht.

How to get to Hat Nang Ram beach

From Pattaya to Hat Nang Ram - about 50 km, a taxi will cost an average of 1000 baht. Agencies also take tourists to this beach, calling it the "Blue Lagoon". But they can call absolutely any beach that way, so before paying, make sure that you are taken to Hat Nang Ram, and not to some Dongtan.

Military Beach (Sai Keo Beach, Military Beach)

 • Cleanliness: 5;
 • landscape: 4;
 • infrastructure: 4.

The disadvantages of this beach compared to Hat Nang Ram are the paid entry (100 baht) and a slightly less picturesque landscape. But it is more convenient to swim here, because the buoys are located far from the coast. Food prices start at 50 baht.

How to get to the military beach

A taxi to the beach costs 400-500 baht. But perhaps the most convenient way is to get there by excursion. In street agencies, a trip to Sai Keo (lunch, sun lounger rental and entry fee are included) costs 400-500 baht, from Russian tour operators it is one and a half to two times more expensive.
