How to celebrate New Year 2018?

The coming year will be the more successful, the more you match a certain dress code. If you follow these rules, we will tell you what to wear for the New Year 2018. When meeting a yellow earth dog (hello to the eastern horoscope), we dress up, respectively, in the most yellow tones. By the way, in Eastern philosophy this color is a symbol of constancy and wisdom. If this color does not suit you, you can simply make it not the main one, using only elements and decorations of this color.

Where to go for the New Year in Russia?

If there is no opportunity to “spend the winter” in hot countries, in the cold season we are only warmed by the thought of the most magical holiday - New Year. And although New Year's holidays are the ideal time to travel to the foreign coast, most of us still prefer to celebrate at home, in snowy Russia, so that there is a Christmas tree, friendly passers-by in red hats and Santa Claus's toy beard, ice slides and sledges. My opinion is that you can make New Year's Eve special and unusual in our area. For example, it is now fashionable to settle in ski resorts. I bring to your attention a selection of the most suitable places to celebrate the New Year in Russia, where to go inexpensively.

Where to meet and celebrate 2018 New Year in Russia?

If you suddenly decide to go on vacation in Russia on a voucher, then see the prices below to determine the duration of the trip.

New Year in Moscow

I decided to start with Moscow, because Tens of thousands of our compatriots flock here every year, so as not to miss the lighting of lanterns and the red star on the main Christmas tree, to attend a festive concert on the main square and take pictures in front of artfully decorated shop windows. Festive fireworks are already a tradition, and here it amazes with its magnificence. Moscow is one of the best places to celebrate the New Year in Russia.

Another well-known place where famous architectural structures and main sights of the city are located is the exhibition center of the Ostankino district VDNKh, namely, Poklonnaya Gora. Here are concentrated fashionable restaurants and family cafes. A panoramic view of Moscow will help create a romantic, magical atmosphere on a festive night. This has a great effect on any tourist.

You can meet 2018 in such an unusual way as riding on a river boat. The Moscow river is no worse than the St. Petersburg Neva. Especially at night.

New Year's Peter

Another beautiful place where you can celebrate the New Year in Russia is St. Petersburg. You can endlessly talk about the most visited places and main attractions of St. Petersburg. The cultural capital of Russia in winter resembles pictures from films and TV series about Russian emperors and palace coups. Not in vain for the New Year travel agencies offer a great variety of tours to the city on the Neva.

Luxurious squares of St. Petersburg with magnificent palaces are probably the most affordable option to celebrate the main holiday of the year to this day. As in Moscow, a tall Christmas tree is erected on Palace Square every year, garlands are lit and a magnificent concert is organized.

Peter opens the doors of the most worthy establishments for guests to celebrate on the main square or Nevsky Prospekt. Here are 3 of my favorite restaurants: Terrassa, Nebar, Che-Dor.

New Year's Eve in the resort town of Sochi

I think a Russian will like Sochi at any time of the year. On New Year's holidays, the city becomes a kind of "piece of summer" in winter. Krasnaya Polyana, for example, attracts tourists with “steep” skiing. New Year is celebrated here on a grand scale, and therefore Sochi is another option where to go on New Year's holidays in Russia.

Sochi residents also hold festive concerts and meet on January 1 with the chimes on the city square - Yuzhny pier. By the way, there are a large number of cafes / bars not far from the South Mall, where a vacation atmosphere reigns all year round.

Be sure to visit the Olympic Park, which has recently become the most attractive place for Sochi guests. There is also Fisht, the Iceberg winter sports palace, and a curling center.

Baikal for New Year

© marcofieber / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

Where to go in Russia for the New Year holidays is to Baikal. I remember this place very anxiously. I remember how my heart sank when I first saw the beauty of Lake Baikal - "the pearl of Siberia". In winter, it is no less picturesque.

On New Year's Eve, here you can arrange real winter adventures: dog sled racing on ice, fishing, creating ice figures and much more. I assure you that here you will meet many compatriots from different regions - from Moscow to Vladivostok. Local residents have long been accustomed to such a "get-together", so the conditions here are the most suitable for an active and unforgettable vacation. In the vicinity of Lake Baikal there are many hotels, ski resorts, where you can stay, having previously booked a room.

If you get bored of admiring icy Baikal, go to the Maloye More (one of the most remarkable parts of Lake Baikal for tourists). The Maloye More is separated by the mysterious Olkhon Island. There are many small rocky islets on Lake Baikal, but Olkhon is the largest. The island has its own legend about shamanic gods and evil spirits.

For example, it was interesting for me to look at the monument to Admiral Kolchak in Irkutsk, because this is my favorite historical character. And the most cheerful and large-scale New Year's programs are organized on the territory of the Taltsy museum - a complex of architectural structures-expositions.

You need to know, if you want to get to Baikal, then you will need to get to Irkutsk. It is from here that the most convenient routes to any point of Lake Baikal are.

New Year in Crimea

In 2018, no one in our country will be surprised by a sudden trip to Crimea. Even in winter, even on New Years. You feel at home here, but the atmosphere of relaxation reigns around, hundreds of vacationers fill up hotels, hostels, cafes / restaurants and night parties.

On the coast of Yalta, on New Year's Eve, real fun unfolds: mass festivities, fairs, dances, fireworks and fireworks.

Staying longer in Crimea, you can see a bunch of amazing places, as part of an excursion, for example. Have you ever been to the Crimean caves? Or maybe you dined in the mountains? Dive into the Black Sea with a bottle of good wine? In general, here they will tell you how to spend New Year's Eve in an unusual way. Well, where else to go on New Year's holidays in Russia?

New Year's Vladivostok

Far away, you say? In fact, the region that is actively being built and developing now began to attract more and more foreign tourists, including. Asians arrive here and stay in the Primorsky capital not only in transit. Just imagine the beauty around - the sea, modern high-rise buildings and 19th century architecture. In winter, it is even warmer here than in many cities of Russia, where you can relax on the New Year.

On the night of 31 December on Jan 1. on the main city square - pl. Fighters for power of the Soviets, where the "White House" is located, are not crowded. Loud music, fireworks shots, Santa Clauses with Snow Maidens, performances of city talents, etc.

In Vladivostok and its environs there are many comfortable and inexpensive tourist centers overlooking the sea bay. Especially extreme Primorye residents like to organize trips to the taiga on New Year's holidays (some with hunting, some with fishing, and some just breathe in the forest air and warm up by the fire with a guitar).

Friendly Karelia

"Frost-hardy" travelers will be happy to spend New Year and Christmas in the Republic of Karelia. The best place to stay is in Petrozavodsk - here are the funniest establishments and the best vacation homes at very affordable prices.

If you took your little children to Karelia, then at some children's matinee you will meet Pakkaine - Ded Moroz (Karelian). By the way, Pakkaine has his own house and you can visit it with your child. The main city event on New Year's Eve takes place on the central square of the capital of Karelia.

To get to know Karelia better, I advise you to take a tour of historical places, look into the marble quarry in Ruskeala Park (a cultural heritage site).

Travel to Altai for the New Year

Another snow option, where to go to NG in Russia, which will certainly interest winter sports fans. Altai Territory is a land of majestic mountains. Here are the most elite ski resorts and sanatoriums. You can kill two birds with one stone - run the ski slopes and improve your health. In addition, excellent "matinees" are also held in sanatoriums.

For example, the resort town of Belokurikha is in demand among tourists who leave only positive reviews. Swim in the hot springs of nitrogen-radon waters (this is the visiting card of the resort). Belokurikha herself cannot boast of numerous attractions, so you need to go here purposefully on the "ski". Adherents of trekking (hiking) will appreciate the mountainous area of \u200b\u200bthe Tserkovka.

On New Year's, you can stay somewhere in the Katun sanatorium (you can think of the entertainment yourself). Take your children to the Belovodye water park - you can spend the whole day here!

The Sheregesh ski complex, located in the small village of the same name in Siberia, is a great place where you can spend your New Year's holidays in Russia. It is called “native Courchevel”. It is here that over a million active and more or less wealthy tourists come here. Weather? This is where there will always be snow on New Year's Eve!

If you only dream of becoming a professional skier, here you will have a great opportunity to learn yourself and your children. There are advanced and training tracks. In our country, these are almost the highest ski slides - the total height is over 35 thousand meters. On the territory of the resort there are a lot of hotels, cottages for guests. Colorful festivals are held here throughout the year. I think New Year's Eve will be no less fun.

New Year in European style in Kaliningrad

When you get to Kaliningrad, you get to Europe. In Russia ... I think this is the most unusual city in our country. Kaliningrad still harbors an atmosphere of something "foreign": buildings, clean streets, signs and inscriptions in German.

By the way, you will hardly be able to meet the New Year with the chimes on the main city square. Here, they even came up with their own traditions! The townspeople usually spend the Old New Year and spend New Year's Eve in a narrow family circle - at home. On the other hand, on January 1, music, fireworks, festive concerts and fairs are heard all day on the Victory Square.

During this period, it is not too frosty in Kaliningrad (compared to ours at the end of March-April until 5+). It is more likely not snowfalls, but torrential rains with strong winds.

I would like to summarize. Wherever you go to celebrate the New Year 2018, a special Russian New Year atmosphere will be felt everywhere in Russia: champagne, Christmas tree, Olivier, “black bread, herring” and smiling passers-by as never before. Let's go to hot countries for the New Year holidays!
