What you need to visit in Crimea is a must. The most beautiful places in the Crimea. Where is the cape, and how to get to it

Isn't it a heavenly place? This is the territory of the "Karalar Steppe" reserve, and here it is itself - the steppe, which looks the same as thousands of years ago, when the Taurians, Antes and God knows what nomads lived here:

By the way, there are such unique animals as the yellow-bellied lizards - legless meter-long lizards - and giant poisonous centipedes.

The many kilometers long Asandrov shaft, which crosses across the entire Kerch Peninsula, also recalls the former inhabitants of these places. Of course, not a Chinese wall, but the scale (the length of the structure is 42 km, a ditch 20-25 m wide and 6-8 m deep, and next to it - a shaft of similar dimensions) is impressive:

It is worth going to the Crimea and in order to visit - the most ancient city in Russia. For 26 centuries people lived here continuously. In Kerch, be sure to go down to - a stunning museum to the core, telling about the heroism of our people. It is also worth seeing another historical attraction of this part of Crimea - take a walk in the center, climb the famous:

Admire the city from above and the new bridge across the strait, then go down another slope to the ruins - the capital of the Bosporus kingdom. By the way, the remains of ancient settlements of various preservation are also in other parts of the Eastern Crimea - Tiritaka, Acre, Kitey. The Sublime Porta also left its mark on this land, and this is not only the aforementioned Arabat fortress, but also:

which was supposed to protect the Turkish Crimea from Russia, but did not fulfill its task - Crimeanash!

Why is it worth going to Crimea?

And these are the beaches of the Black Sea and Mount Opuk in the distance:

There is the famous Opuk Nature Reserve, which is especially popular in the spring, when the multi-colored Schrenk tulips bloom - the ancestors of the first cultivated tulip varieties. Behind it are salty lakes of wonderful lilac color:

Another interesting object of the steppe Crimea:

This is not a hill, but a mud volcano. It is not the only one, Kerch also has active mud volcanoes.

Already in order to lie on such a beach, it is worth going to the Crimea! In this photo already herself:

Beautiful villas are lined along the wide embankment of the city, and the Aivazovsky Gallery houses the world's largest collection of his paintings.

This is a real Western European fortress, in the towers of which there are slabs with coats of arms and inscriptions - a noble lord such and such ordered to build this structure in such and such a year. In the summer, a chic festival "Genoese Helmet" is held there, for the sake of which role-playing and history buffs come to Crimea from year to year.

What to see in South Crimea

It is surrounded by the most beautiful South Coast Park - Alupkinsky:

The photo was taken in December - sunny and green. The park has a huge collection of plants, including araucaria, a dragon tree from South America, and is superbly planned - layered, excellent lawns highlighting the beauty of evergreens, cascades of ponds, winding paths and chaos - heaps of huge stones.

You need to visit Crimea to see, it is also beautiful all year round and every month another unique collection of flowers blooms there: lilacs, irises, daylilies, roses, clematis, cannes and chrysanthemums. From year to year the Crimeans themselves go to see the flowering of the latter.

Parks are beautiful at any time of the year.

and admire the surroundings from the caves:

and at its foot to be surprised at funny orchids, orchids, monkeys:

see the largest grotto in Europe in Kyz-Kermen:

And meet the sunset at the 200-year-old lighthouse from the westernmost point of the peninsula:

Then go inside this hollow mountain through this
And there you can swim in the blue transparent lakes formed on the site of the quarries where the white Inkeraman stone was mined for the construction of Sevastopol.

Why go to Western Crimea, what sights are waiting for tourists?

You need to visit here to smear yourself with medicinal mud and feed the wild swans on the lake, under:

Visit Evpatoria itself, sunbathe on its sandy and pebble beaches:

walk along its embankment, wander along the winding streets, where a mosque, an Orthodox church, a synagogue, and Karaite ones stand nearby:

Try Karaite cuisine in local restaurants, and rush to, for example, to the village:

Why not Aivazovsky?

There is one gross mistake that every second tourist who rests in Crimea makes, turning his vacation into a seal, when upon returning home from the memories there is only banana rides and a buffet at the hotel. There is nothing wrong with that, but from my own experience I can say that a couple of days are enough to relax on the beach. Then he begins to pull for walks, and the burnt skin requires a rest from sunbathing.

So, in order to stock up on vivid impressions of the vacation for years to come, every tourist and traveler needs to know what to see in Crimea. I have compiled a cheat sheet for you from the TOP - 20 most popular places for tourists on the peninsula. If you can't wait to get this free bonus read on!

Crimea what to see necessarily TOP - 20 best places

All tourists are different and everyone's requests for recreation are also different, so I divided interesting places in Crimea into thematic blocks. If you are more attracted to the movement and you want to catch the adrenaline, then you will surely be bored on sightseeing tours, even if they are top-notch and all the guides will recommend them to you as a must-see. Listen to yourself and your desires, and choose a vacation to your liking. For example, I can say for myself that diving 200 meters into caves seemed to me much more interesting than looking at the luxurious interior of the Crimean palaces.

sights

1. Mount Ai Petri

One should climb Mount Ai Petri for three reasons. The first reason is because of the observation deck from which a truly beautiful view of Yalta and the Black Sea coast opens. If you go to the top as part of excursion groups, the bus will take you directly to the observation deck, a well-paved track leads to it, along which you can also drive by car on your own.

A hiker can also climb on Ai Petri by buying a ticket for the cable car from Alupka. This is the second reason why hundreds of tourists flock here every day. From the booth you can see the famous teeth, which were shown to the whole world by the Soviet director Gaidai in the film about Shurik's adventures.

And the last reason is the caves, which are located on the plateau of the same name. We were on an excursion to Ai Petri in August, and the weather at the top did not differ much from the entire temperature in Crimea. Even in light summer clothes, we did not freeze. So I think it's superfluous to take warm clothes with you at the height of the season, unless you are going to go down to the caves, where the degree will be lower.

2. Swallow's nest

The swallow's nest has become popular among tourists only due to its unusual location. Indeed, this miniature castle in the Gothic style, inexplicably hovers above a cliff on a 40-meter cliff. In fact, this object has no historical value, no celebrities have lived in it, and it does not even have an interesting background. But it was for his bizarre image that he was painted in pictures, and returning from the Crimea without a photograph against the background of the Swallow's Nest would be considered bad form.

3. Palaces

At all times, Crimea has been a tasty morsel, because of its beautiful natural landscape and mild climate, many rich important people chose the peninsula as a place for the construction of luxurious palaces and royal chambers. Today, no one lives in the palaces; they are used as museums for tourist excursions. In fact, there are a lot of palaces in Crimea and you will hardly have time to cover everything during your vacation, and you should not do this if your goal is not to write a dissertation on medieval architecture) I will tell you about the largest palaces that are most recommended for visiting, based on reviews from tourists.

Livadia Palace

The palace got its beautiful name from the Greek word "livadia" - a lawn, impressed by the beautiful local area, Emperor Nicholas II erected this white palace in the overseas Italian style here. Now the palace has rooms equipped as museums, where you can see the rooms where the Romanov family led their tsarist existence - the dining room, the emperor's study, children's bedrooms. It is located in the suburbs of Yalta, just three kilometers from the city. In addition to the Livadia Palace itself, there is a park with mosaic paths, beautiful courtyards buried in greenery and marble benches.

You can get to the palace as part of an excursion or on your own from Yalta by shuttle bus 5, 11, 27 or 32 and get off at the stop "Sanatorium Dyulber".

Massandra Palace

If the previous palace evokes thoughts of Italy, Massandrovsky resembles medieval French castles from the time of Louis XIII, it is not for nothing that it is called the little Versailles in the Crimea. Now tourists come here to see the museum with the emperor's chambers and items of the royal household, and enjoy leisurely walks through the forest, because the location of the palace has this.

Near the Massandra Palace is the Yalta mountain-forest nature reserve. Needless to say, walks through the pine forest in combination with the mountain air have a beneficial effect on well-being, and green lawns with broken flower beds with fragrant flowers will make this day the most pleasant and memorable.

A hiker can independently travel to the Massandra Palace as part of an excursion or independently from Yalta by shuttle bus 29 and get off at the Verkhniy Massandrovskiy Park stop. Then you have to walk a little along the road.

Vorontsov Palace

Vorontsov Palace in Crimea is the most beautiful and majestic building in Crimea, it combines the luxurious style of romanticism from English architecture and oriental flavor, in honor of the Muslim founders of the city of Alupka. Walking through the territory of the castle, you can feel like a hero of a fairy tale - battlements, turrets, high stone walls. And this pearl of the Vorontsov palace - the southern facade, it seems that the doors are about to open and the beautiful eastern princess Budur, surrounded by her retinue, will run out onto the balcony.

It is in the Vorontsov Palace that the famous sculptures of lions by the great Italian master Giovanni Bonnani are located, they adorn the stairs leading to the South facade, and miniatures are sold here as souvenirs. Another attraction of this place is the garden founded by the famous gardener Kebach, where plants from all over the world grow.

Vorontsov Palace is located at the foot of Mount Ai Petri and is one of the most popular and visited places among vacationers. To get from Yalta to the palace complex, you can sit from the bus station on buses 27 or 32 and get off at the stop "Alupkinsky Palace".

Leisure

If you cannot rest for a long time without physical exertion and love to spend your time on hikes, then there are places in Crimea that are perfect for this.

4. Marble cave

It is not necessary to have professional skills in speleo - tourism to dive into the most mysterious cave in Crimea. To be honest, we also doubted at first, because we had a small child, my daughter was only three years old at that time. But she walked with great interest the entire route in the Marble Cave from start to finish, and now she can boast that she saw huge icicles that grow straight from the ground)

Everything in the Marble Cave is equipped for comfortable and safe movement through the underground halls, there are paths, steps and railings. Each route is built in such a way that you do not even need the help of a guide, it is quite possible to see the decoration of the Marble Cave on your own, the transition from one level to another is not at all difficult, and as I said above, even a small child can pass it.

I left a review of our visit to two large caves in Crimea.

5. Cave Emine Bair Khosar

Usually, a visit to the Emine Bair Khosar cave goes in conjunction with the Marble Cave, because they are both located on the Chatyr Dag plateau, and they are separated by a distance of only two kilometers. The cave got its beautiful name thanks to the Tatar dictum - "a well on the side of a mountain", but the guides prefer to call it the Mammoth Cave in honor of the mammoth that fell into its bowels, whose remains are now the main attraction of this place.

Other visitors to the cave that often visited were cave bears, saber-toothed tigers and woolly rhinoceros, their bones resting next to the remains of a mammoth. But traces of our ancestors' stay here were not found, apparently the ancient man was careful and did not burn with the desire to meet these predators here.

6. Tarkhankut

Is there diving in Crimea, and if so, what can you see there? - such a question we asked ourselves approximately while looking for scuba diving in Crimea. In order to understand what sights await you in the depths of the Black Sea, you yourself need to go to the western coast of Crimea, where Cape Tarkhankut is located - an ideal place for diving on the peninsula. It is here that travelers who are keen on active recreation in the wild come, set up campsites to enjoy the unusual landscape of rocky shores and a calm transparent sea.

In addition to diving on Tarkhankut, you can see sights - the Crocodile rock, swim in the Cup of Love, swim through the pirate arch in the rock.

You can see a review of how our trip to Cape Tarkhankut took place.

Historical excursions

If you want to get to know the Crimean peninsula better, then you certainly need to get acquainted with its history, because of its mild natural conditions, it has always remained a tasty morsel for conquerors. Greeks, Scythians, Italians, Romans and many other peoples lived in Crimea at different time periods, each of which left its architectural and historical mark on the Crimean land.

7. Assumption cave monastery

Due to its unusual location, the Assumption Cave Monastery every year attracts hundreds of tourists from all over the world to its chambers. It is literally carved into a sheer rock, and from the side it seems that it soars in an amazing way over the Gorge of Mary. There are several reasons for the construction of the monastery in such an unusual place, but the main one is that once on the site of the Assumption Monastery an icon of the Mother of God was found, which, after being removed, as if by magic returned back to the caves.

The monastery experienced many turbulent days, when wars raged outside its walls and bloody battles were raging, miraculously managed to avoid the pogrom of the Turkish invaders. Today, on the territory of the monastery there are cemeteries where soldiers from different historical eras, from the Crimean War and the Great Patriotic War, are buried. Another attraction of the monastery is its entrance staircase, with a wall located on one side, showing holy places from around the world with a handful of earth.

You can come to the Assumption Monastery from Bakhchisarai by taking minibus # 2, the Staroselie transport stop.

8. Genoese fortress

Do you want to see spectacular theatrical knight tournaments within the walls of a real medieval fortress? Then you should definitely take a ride to the city of Sudak and visit the Genoese fortress. Within the walls of the attraction you can see the main gate, 12 towers, a consular castle, a temple - a mosque, a temple of the twelve apostles, a warehouse, barracks and, of course, the walls of the fortress, serpentine going to the inaccessible rocks of the stone ridge.

Review - Genoese fortress, as I was drinking honey beer there,.

9. Cave cities

The cave cities of Crimea are another amazing historical attraction of the peninsula, all of them are located in the Bakhchisarai region and if you have an interest in such places, you can set aside a day for a trip. The most popular places where you can come on your own are Bakla, Mangup, Eski Kermen, Chufut Kale. In the Middle Ages, these caves were created by human hands to protect people from frequent attacks by enemies and invaders. Entry holes are carved into the rocky rocks, so you need to be careful when moving around the cave cities. You can see both residential caves and cave monasteries, temples with frescoes and paintings.

10. New light. Golitsyn trail

The Golitsyn trail is primarily interesting for tourists because it runs along the coastline under the slope of the mountain, as well as some of its sections pass through grottoes and caves. The trail originates from the village known for its wines and champagne - Novy Svet, the village itself is also one of the most beautiful places in Crimea, especially considering its miniature size and location in a natural bay. In the process of passing the trail, such sights are visited as three colored bays, the famous Golitsina grotto with a wine cellar in the walls of the cave, a juniper grove and many viewing platforms.

The trail is three kilometers long, but despite the short distance, it has strong elevation differences. Therefore, it is better to walk on mountainous terrain in comfortable shoes and with a supply of drinking water in a backpack.

11. Adzhimushkay quarries

In Crimea, there is a place that every vacationer must visit in order not to forget about the heroism of our ancestors and what price they had to pay for our today's peaceful sky overhead. This place is a museum on the site of a former quarry, where during the war years people lived and defended from the mines, surviving in inhuman conditions and with their last strength fought back the enemy onslaught of the Hitlerite army. It's scary to imagine what the occupied residents had to endure. Along with hunger and lack of drink, the Nazis blew up and filled up the entrances, pumped smoke into the underground tunnels, and made landslides. Of the ten thousand unfortunate occupied residents who descended into the quarry in 1942, several hundred survived.

The underground museum is located near the city of Kerch and it is impossible to miss it, next to it there is a giant memorial monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

Natural monuments

12. Cape Fiolent

Cape Fiolent is the most picturesque creation of nature in Crimea, because a volcano worked on its appearance, today the eruptions of which can be observed in the form of huge blocks of black lava towering over the sea surface. The spectacle is unforgettable, as all tourists say, and I completely agree with them ...

You can swim at Cape Fiolente. But in order to freshen up on the local beach, you will have to go down about a thousand unequipped and extreme steps, but the reward will be the cleanest sea in Crimea with a view of the rocks and an almost complete absence of tourists.

It will not be difficult to come to Cape Fiolent in Crimea both as part of an excursion group and on your own. Public transport stop "5th kilometer", then you need to change to a minibus going to Cape Fiolent.

13. Demerdzhi

Demerdzhi is the most mysterious mountain in Crimea and here's why. Firstly, it is not a mountain at all, but a plateau that stretches for several kilometers along the Black Sea, near the city of Alushta. The second reason is the bizarre formations in the form of giant stone pillars, reminiscent of the statues of warriors, and one of them, due to the similarity with the face of Empress Catherine, is named in her honor. Thirdly, this is the popular place of the Valley of Ghosts, so named because of the frequent fogs descending on the valley. When from under thick clouds only the tops of stone sculptures are visible, resembling frozen silhouettes of people.

By the way, an interesting fact, at different times of the day, Demerdzhi changes its appearance, each time appearing before tourists in a new color, this is due to the amazing composition of the rocks that form the mountain range. There are several trekking trails leading to Demerdzhi, passing through oak and beech groves, so you won't get lost or miss interesting things.

14. White rock Ak-Kaya

Ak Kaya is a sheer white cliff that resembles the canyons from the Wild West films. It is not for nothing that many directors chose this area for filming films; here they fit perfectly into the landscape - cowboys in wide-brimmed hats, galloping on frisky horses.

But the rock also has a dark history, on the top of Ak Kai in the Middle Ages, people were executed by throwing them down from a steep cliff. The robbers arranged hiding places for loot in the Ak Kai caves. Famous generals held meetings on its plateau, and soldiers took an oath.

15. Kara Dag reserve

Unlike previous natural creations, it is impossible to enter the Kara Dag reserve without warning. First, you need to clarify the time to visit, book a place for walking around the reserve, as well as pay an entrance ticket. But in return you will receive such unforgettable views and emotions that you will remember for a long time.

So why is this place so attractive for a vacationer? Firstly, this place is a real concentrate, where all the most beautiful and rare plants and trees in Crimea are collected, which are under protection, you can see natural marble and blocks of frozen lava. Secondly, there is the famous Golden Gate rock, you can swim through a natural arch and make a wish during a boat trip along Kara Dag.

Thirdly, this is not just a nature reserve, but an extinct volcano that once spewed fiery lava, the black color of the rock reminds of this, it is not for nothing that Kara Dag means Black Mountain in translation. Other attractions of the reserve are the museum of the same name, a 7 km long hiking trail, panoramic observation platforms.

16. Waterfalls

The Uchan-Su waterfall is considered the highest waterfall in Crimea, but unfortunately its appearance during the peak season leaves much to be desired, in the summer months it almost dries up and in order not to get disappointed from the trip it is better to plan a visit to the lower, but active in summer, Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall.

Dzhur - Dzhur is the most spectacular and beautiful waterfall in Crimea, even the name of the waterfall is gurgling. If you come to Abkhazia and do not ride to the waterfall it will be considered bad form, then you should visit Dzhur - Dzhursky waterfall while resting in Crimea. The height of the falling stream is fifteen meters, and stones fall from the mountain together with the water, so you will not be able to enjoy swimming, but not many will agree to plunge into the icy water. But against the background of the waterfall, excellent photos are obtained, and if you have not seen such a miracle of nature before, it can impress you!

With health benefits

17. Estuary

Crimea is not only beautiful landscapes and sights, but also healing air, unique salt lakes and mineral mud. Arriving in Crimea to rest, it is quite possible to improve your health and recover from many ailments. Where can you do this if you are not undergoing spa treatment in a sanatorium? The fact is that in Crimea there are many free natural hospitals, which you can use right in the open air, and such wonders of nature are called estuaries.

Estuaries are lakes with a high concentration of salt in the composition of the water, and at the bottom of such reservoirs there are medicinal mud, which has a beneficial effect on the skin and the body as a whole. To receive treatment, it is enough to come to the estuary, of which there are a huge number in the Crimea, to take a mineral bath and apply therapeutic mud to the body.

You can read a review of how we went to the estuary in Evpatoria, Lake Moinaki.

18. Jau Tepe mud volcanoes

If you are sure that there are no active volcanoes in Crimea, then you are deeply mistaken. On the peninsula there are amazing natural volcanoes that erupt not fiery lava, but streams of healing mud! In total, there are about seven active volcanoes in Crimea, and all of them are located in the east of the Kerch Peninsula in the village of Vulkanovka. But unlike estuaries, to climb into the mouth of a volcano to smear with mud would be a big stupidity, you can easily fall into a natural crater. Mud mud contains a storehouse of minerals and is used by doctors for recreational purposes in hospitals and sanatoriums of the Crimea.

Entertainment activities

Crimea has long ceased to have the status of a pensioner vacation, the events held on the peninsula are most often aimed at youth and active pastime. Jazz festivals are held here, informal youth gathers, many clubs, cafes and other entertainments, the nightlife in resort towns is boiling. What unusual events can you visit in Crimea that you definitely won't see at home?

19. Mud fights

This unconventional sport has appeared in the Crimea relatively recently and has already gained popularity among spectators, visitors and tourists. Indeed, in the role of athletes in the arena are beautiful pumped-up girls, but this is not their main quality. What visitors come here for is to see firsthand the masterful techniques of karate, and sometimes even tricks like spectacular acrobatic numbers. Do not be afraid there will be no blood and broken ribs, but an adrenaline rush while watching mud fights is guaranteed. And you can also take part in this event personally, each viewer is given the opportunity to enter the ring and compete with the gladiator girls.

20. Kazantip

You've probably heard about Kazantip, but you don't know what it is. The Kazantip Republic is a mega party held annually in Crimea and gathering hundreds of visitors from all over the world on its territory. Vacationers come here for the sake of listening to club and electronic music performed by the most top DJs from around the world. Here you can hang out, dance and light up all day long, and you can come here in beach shorts and a bathing suit, or you can come up with an original image and apply makeup.

You can read our impression of the days spent at Kazantip.

I hope my memo, what to see in the Crimea is obligatory, will be useful to you. I wish you all a pleasant and memorable stay!

14873

The mysterious, magical, amazingly beautiful Crimea has many faces, it is not for nothing that it is called “the world in miniature”, because there is everything here: steppe and mountains, green valleys and medicinal lakes, protected forests and beautiful parks, beautiful palaces, noble estates and amazing natural monuments, mysterious caves and cultural monuments of long-lost peoples, the sea with its beaches and underwater caves.

Look at the map of Crimea: the interior of the peninsula is occupied by a steppe, mountain ranges are concentrated in its southern part, and all this is surrounded by the sea on all sides. Many of the most beautiful places in Crimea are located on the coast, but there are also many that lie away from tourist trails and cannot be reached by transport.

This wild peninsula, one of the most beautiful places in Crimea, is located in its westernmost point and, probably, will remain the place with which a person will never do anything. It just can't. The steep cliffs are too formidable, its underwater caves are too deep.

The sea here is so clear that standing high on the cliff, you can see the stones at the bottom. But the most amazing sight will open from the sea: huge through grottoes cut through the rocks, caves hide behind high arches, and the rocks are twisted into the most inconceivable figures. From time to time, the tireless surf and wind bring down a part of the rocky coast, and then in this beautiful place of Crimea a new cliff of fantastic appearance appears.

Atlesh, the reserved area of Tarkhankut is made up of white limestone rocks, over the processing of which a brilliant sculptor, nature, worked for centuries. He fantastically cut the coastline, giving the rocks of this beautiful place of Crimea amazing shapes:

 • The turtle is a large rock jutting out into the sea, it really looks like a giant turtle looking out to sea.
 • The Chalice of Love is a rock in the form of a round pool. Its depth is 6 meters, and you can only get to it through an underwater tunnel.
 • A 150-meter, completely unexplored cave, into which there is only one way: to swim under a rock hanging over the sea.

Ak-Kaya (White Rock)

A huge white cliff is located in the Belogorsk region of Crimea, in the valley of the Biyuk Kara-Su river. The huge stone plateau ends with a sheer wall 150 meters high. The rock overhanging the valley is especially beautiful in the rays of the setting sun. Once it was the seabed, and its layers are a kind of chronicle of the past 70 million years. A careful glance will surely notice fossilized mollusks, sea urchins, crabs, and in the youngest layers on the surface of the plateau, there are shark teeth, whale and seal bones.

Koyashskoe lake

This amazingly beautiful and salty lake in Crimea lies in the south of the Kerch Peninsula. In summer, algae living in the lake color its water pink, and the higher the temperature, the more intense the color becomes. The shores of this beautiful place of Crimea are covered with crystals of salt, smelling of violets, and on the water surface there are bizarre salt icebergs. Only a narrow strip of sandy beach separates the pink from the Black Sea.

Balaklava Bay

There is no other such beautiful place in Crimea like this bay. It is sandwiched between two mountains and juts out into the land to a depth of 1.5 kilometers. The entrance to it is not only very narrow, but also invisible from the side of the sea. The unique shape of the bay in the form of the English letter S makes it the quietest harbor even during a severe storm at sea. You can admire this beautiful place in Crimea from the top of a mountain on the eastern coast, where the ruins of the ancient Genoese fortress Chembalo are preserved.

New World

This is the name of a small village near Sudak. When the car passes the last turn, an unusually beautiful place opens up before your eyes, defiantly beautiful even for the Crimea itself. The Eagle and Falcon mountains protect the New World from the winds, and the air is saturated with phytoncides of pines and junipers. Three bays of this beautiful place in Crimea - Green, Blue and Blue - fascinate with the purity and transparency of their waters, and mountain paths and grottoes give a unique charm.

Demerdzhi

Among the most beautiful places in Crimea is the amazing mountain range, which was once the seabed. When the stone ridge rose from the sea, the sun and the wind created bizarre stone sculptures out of it. In the setting rays of the sun, it seems that the figures really look like running people. Hence the name of the valley with stone sculptures -. Of course, there are many legends explaining the appearance of stone idols in this beautiful place of Crimea, and who knows, suddenly something of what was described in them actually happened.

Taraktash trail

You can walk along this path from Yalta to Ai-Petri and in the opposite direction. Of course, going downhill is easier. The views that open to your eyes during the descent are beautiful, but one of the most beautiful places in Crimea - the Taraktash tract itself and its main attraction - an arc-shaped rock several tens of meters high, will cause crazy delight. It is striking that with thin walls and a rather high height, a lonely standing rock does not collapse. The trail will lead you through a hollow, then through a narrow passage between the rocks will lead you out. This passage is called the Taraktash gate, it is scary to walk along it, but the delight of this beautiful place in Crimea makes you forget about fear.

If you are lucky enough to be near the rock at noon, when the sun is high, you can see how the rock shimmers in all shades of yellow and brown. The height is breathtaking, but the beauty is such that you don't notice anything besides it. Continuing the descent, you find yourself at another fantastically beautiful place in the Crimea - "flying water".

Uchan-Su

Uchan-Su - "flying" or "hanging water" in the old days was called this two-stage stream of water falling from Ai-Petri. In all its power, it appears only in spring, when the snow is melting. In winter, the water freezes, and its frozen jets become like organ pipes, and this sight is almost more beautiful than the April one.

Nature is capable of creating monuments of amazing beauty. But the creations of human hands are sometimes no less beautiful. Talented architects have inscribed beautiful palaces and magnificent parks in the history of the beautiful Crimea.

Karaite kenases in Evpatoria

Among the beautiful places of Crimea and the snow-white temple complex of the Crimean Karaites, consisting of two hall two-height buildings with lancet and semicircular windows. In the courtyard of this beautiful place in Crimea, you can see arched galleries and a fountain. The building is not only an architectural monument, but also a historical value.

bird home

In the village of Gaspra, which lies on the beautiful southern coast of Crimea, on the very edge of the Aurora cliff, there is a tiny building made of white stone. Crenellated walls, tall pointed windows and a round tower with spiers make it look like a medieval knight's castle. It was once a country house with fireplaces and thick ceiling beams, but what is there now is irrelevant. , like a graceful toy, as if it soars between the sea and the sky, drawing the eyes of every guest to this amazingly beautiful place in Crimea.

Livadia Palace

It is known as the summer residence of the last Russian emperor and the venue of the Yalta conference. But it is not so much historical facts that make it attractive, but the beauty of the palace and the park that was smashed around.

The snow-white building in the Renaissance style with four courtyards, luxurious chambers and a unique interior perfectly fit into the landscape of the Crimean coast and has become one of the most beautiful places in Crimea. The park, laid out on 40 hectares of land, has been equipped and has survived to this day: winding paths bend around beautiful flowers and rare trees, green lawns are decorated with sculptures and fountains, shady alleys lead to the sea, and an endless sea opens up from observation platforms to the horizon.

Palace in Massandra

Emperor Alexander III is considered one of the most amazing and beautiful places in Crimea. The palace is small, but incredibly beautiful and graceful. The architect, decorating the facades with balconies, ornaments and sculptures, gave it the look of a fabulous, just gingerbread castle. On the spacious terraces and in the park, sculptures of satyrs and chimeras were installed in the fashion of that time. The building was erected right in the forest, and it formed the basis of a beautiful park. Paths and flower beds were laid on the territory of the park, junipers and conifers were additionally planted along the alleys, exotic plants were brought from abroad.

Foros Church

Between Sevastopol and Yalta, between the sea and the ridge of mountains, the Red Rock rises, and at its very edge, like a fragile toy in the palm of a giant, stands the Church of the Resurrection of Christ. It can be clearly seen from the road, and everyone who passes by involuntarily turns his head to see this beautiful place of Crimea again. The legend tells of the miraculous rescue of the daughter of a wealthy merchant on the edge of this cliff. There was salvation, but it was about Emperor Alexander III. built in the Byzantine style, has gone through four restorations, and services are still held there.

Vorontsov Palace

Among the most beautiful places in Crimea is the beautiful palace in Alupka, which was created by order of Count Vorontsov, who was then Governor-General of the Novorossiysk Territory. The count wanted the palace to combine English austerity and the luxury of Indian palaces. Such luxury was suitable for these beautiful places of Crimea: from the windows of the palace one could see the sea, on the other side the Ai-Petri massif hung over the palace, and numerous springs would help to grow a beautiful garden. And this is how it turned out: the ponderous English style is diluted with elements of the luxurious oriental style, and the battlements of the watchtowers are juxtaposed with openwork decorations and arches.

The palace park deserves a special place among all the beautiful places of Crimea. Both parts of it - the Upper Park and the Lower - are amazingly beautiful. In Upper there are three glades (Kashtanovaya, Solnechnaya and Kontrastnaya), and each one has separate types of trees. Here is the Swan Lake, where these beautiful birds live, and the Mirror Lake, there is even a waterfall. The lower park is decorated in Italian style, and there are many unique plants growing there. Anyone who has been there claims that there is always a festive mood in this beautiful place of Crimea.

Yusupov Palace

The magnificent Yusupov Palace is located in one of the most beautiful places in Crimea - in Koreiz, on the steep rocky seashore. It was erected in the style of the Italian Renaissance, and its interior is simply luxurious: Viennese sofas and chairs, skillfully made by Austrian furniture masters, porcelain and bronze figurines. But the palace park is even more beautiful! It is decorated with trees from 100 to 500 years old, and a total of 7.5 thousand plant species grow. The entire territory of this beautiful place of Crimea is decorated with fountains and small pools with figures of goddesses, naiads and mermaids. All entrances to the park, all niches are "guarded" by marble lions.

Nikitsky Botanical Garden

The garden was laid out over two hundred years ago. Its director, Christian Steven, decided to create a nursery for plants that had never grown in Crimea in order to acclimate them to the Crimean land. And he did it very well. But the main goal was to collect on the territory of this beautiful place of Crimea all the plants that could benefit not only Crimea, but all of Russia. Three years later, the collection of the botanical garden included 50 varieties of pear trees and almost a hundred varieties of apple trees. Gradually, the collection grew with Italian and French grape varieties, magnolias, palm trees, plane trees. Plants that are unique for this beautiful place of Crimea have appeared: Californian sequoia, Caucasian fir, cedar, eastern pine, strawberry tree, bamboo, and it is difficult to even count the types of flowers. Today the collection consists of 30 thousand plants from all over the world. And in whatever month you visit this garden, you will always see flowering plants: in the spring it is the Tulip Parade, in the summer - the Ball of Roses, in the fall - the Ball of Chrysanthemums. The Botanical Garden, a wonderful creation of human hands, is still considered one of the most beautiful places in Crimea.

The Valley of Ghosts is one of the most beautiful places in Crimea. The mysterious area is represented by a large number of rocks of various shapes. Some of them are very similar to the figures of people and animals. If you watch the figures for several hours, you can see what amazing shapes the shadows take, falling from the rocks and moving. That is why the locals call them ghosts.

The most famous was the twenty-meter rock, which was given the name "Bust of Catherine". Observing from afar, you can see the image of the queen sitting on the throne. Unfortunately, if you come closer to her, this image disappears, but still remains mysterious.A walk along this valley in the Crimea, created by nature itself, will not leave anyone indifferent.

This is a unique Crimean natural reserve that occupies a huge territory. Here are the plants and animals listed in the Red Book. The excursion here can only be accessed when accompanied by personnel along a separate eco-trail. The reserve has about three thousand representatives of plants and about six thousand species of animals, fish and reptiles.

One of the most beautiful places in the mountainous Crimea is the top of Mount Ai-Petri. From above, you can admire the picturesque meadows and cliffs. In addition, it is the most foggy and windy place on the peninsula.

A hiking trail leads to the top of the mountain, but it is better to get there by cable car. To enjoy the heavenly views, it is better to go down on foot. The road is laid to Yalta itself.

10. Bay in Balaklava

The real decoration of the Crimean town of Balaklava is the bay. Since ancient times, it has delighted the eye of travelers and has protected local residents from enemies. Near the bay is the ancient fortress of Chembalo.

The bay is surrounded by mountains that block the city from winds and strong waves. This place is considered the best in Crimea for yachting. On the right bank of the bay there was a secret submarine repair plant, which has now been converted into a museum.

11. Genoese fortress (Sudak)

In fact, it was once a fortress and protected the local from the invasion of foreigners. Now only a part of this medieval structure remains, but looking at it, it will be possible to imagine how the area looked like during the Byzantine era, because it was in the 6th-10th centuries that the first fortifications appeared.

12. Vorontsov Palace (Alupka)

It is also called “the pearl of the Crimean architecture”, and for good reason. This majestic building of the Crimea in the neo-Moorish style is striking due to its facade - what can we say about the interior design ?! The palace is surrounded by a wonderful park with neat alleys, fountains and many types of well-groomed vegetation. It was designed by the talented botanist Karl Kebach. But the building itself was erected according to the project of Edward Blore - he also took part in the planning of some areas of Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey.

13. Chersonesos Tauride (Sevastopol)

In 2013, this place on the territory of Crimea was included in the UNESCO list. The ancient Greek colony was founded in 422-421 BC. The remaining ruins will tell a little about the Crimean peninsula and its history. There is even a partially preserved amphitheater here, and walking through the ruins, you can try to imagine how the Greeks, Romans and other peoples - the predecessors of the local inhabitants of Crimea - wandered in the same places.

You should definitely visit these and many other beautiful sights of Crimea when traveling to the peninsula. This is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world where you can simply relax enjoying nature or take great photo shoots.

Very beautiful video of Crimea

Crimea is incredibly diverse, and a tourist who decides to travel around Crimea by car without a clear route can get confused and lose time. We have compiled a detailed itinerary for autotravel across Crimea, capturing the main cities, resort villages and attractions.

The main thing about the product

Kerch bridge

The journey begins from the Kerch bridge to the Crimea. The journey is free, the length is about 19 km, and it takes about 20 minutes. Speed limit on the bridge to 90 km / h, stops are prohibited.

Be careful, do not exceed the speed because there are many cameras installed, you will collect fines quickly.

There are no traffic jams on the Kerch bridge, but there are many cars. Reminds of driving on the Moscow Ring Road.

Hero City Kerch

Kerch is a well-groomed and clean city, despite the presence of large industrial facilities. Many hotels have survived in Kerch since Soviet times, and modern private hotels are also operating. After crossing the strait, which has now become more convenient, but can still take some time, the tourist has a reason to have a good rest in Kerch, and only then go on a trip across Crimea by car.

One of the most interesting places in Kerch is the embankment. During an evening walk, the air saturated with sea moisture pleasantly cools and fills with strength.

From the embankment, the main Kerch attraction is perfectly visible - the famous Mount Mithridat with a magnificent observation deck. From the site the city is visible at a glance.

The Adzhimushkaya catacombs, in which partisans were hiding during the Second World War, are also worth visiting. Excursions to the catacombs are organized by the excursion office, whose office is located right next to Mithridates.

Kerch-Primorsky-Beregovoe-Feodosia

Finally, the car tourists have rested and are ready to go on the route - Crimea is waiting. From Kerch, located on the Kerch Peninsula, there is only one way to get to Feodosia - along the M17 (E97) highway. Distance - 100 kilometers, travel time - 1 hour 36 minutes. The road runs through the hilly steppe.

Right in front of Feodosia, on the coast of the Feodosia Gulf, there are two villages - Primorsky and Beregovoe, where you can stay if you want. The villages are famous for their high-quality tourist infrastructure, kilometers of excellent beaches and attractions.

Our trip to Crimea continues in Feodosia - a large seaport resort town. Feodosia is slightly smaller than Kerch, but there are plenty of attractions here. It was in this city that the great marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky lived, and here he drew inspiration for writing the immortal book "Scarlet Sails" Alexander Grin.

In Feodosia, you can visit Green's museums, visit the Aivazovsky gallery, seeing the famous canvases with your own eyes.

After Feodosia, tourists are faced with a choice: the Crimea route bifurcates. The main highway M17 (E97) turns sharply to Simferopol, and the Kerch highway P23 leads tourists along the coast to the mountains, the villages of Ordzhonikidze and Koktebel. We will choose the second option of the route, since it is nonsense not to visit the famous Koktebel when traveling across Crimea.

Koktebel: the place where the muses live

The distance between Feodosia and Koktebel is 20 kilometers, by car the road takes no more than 28 minutes. From Feodosia we reach the village of Nasypnoe, where the P23 highway diverges in two directions, we turn to the south, towards Koktebel.

Koktebel is one of the most interesting places that our route "Crimea" can offer. It is rightfully proud of this wonderful village.

Every year a jazz festival is held in Koktebel, bringing together the best musicians from all over the world. A good camping site for motorists has been built near the festival site; there are many hotels in Koktebel where you can stay.

The famous writer, founder of Russian nudism M. Voloshin lived in Koktebel. The successors of the Voloshin case occupy the beaches of Koktebel in the summer.

The village is considered a cult place among Russian aeronautics. Not far from Koktebel there is a mountain that has become a springboard for parachutists, paragliders and hang gliders. On the mountain there is a camp of instructors who will help tourists to feel the beauty of flying.

A trip around Crimea without visiting the world-famous Karadag reserve, inspecting the majestic rock "Golden Gate" will be incomplete.

Koktebel is one of the main places for domestic winemaking. There is a brandy factory in the village, where you can buy young wine, which is hard to find tastier.

Feodosia - Sudak

Tourists should definitely visit the Crimean capital Simferopol. We return from Koktebel to Feodosia - the distance is short, the road does not take much time. Here our goal is the M17 “Kerch-Simferopol” highway.

From Feodosia to Simferopol 110 kilometers, travel time - 2 hours 6 minutes. The road runs along the steppe with a lot of hills, and after the town of Stary Krym (25 km from Feodosia) the Crimean Mountains begin.

Going on a trip to Crimea, remember that every year inexperienced drivers die, falling off the mountain serpentine. Signs "Sharp Bend" should never be missed. It is impossible to overtake on blind turns - the narrowness of the track allows you to "go" only under the cliff. In rainy weather, attention should be tripled. The beautiful views, which the Crimea route is so rich in, can play a cruel joke with the driver: you cannot be distracted by the beautiful mountains and valleys.

From the Old Crimea we reach Grushevka (12 km, 17 minutes on the way). Here we turn onto the P35 highway, which will lead tourists to Sudak. From Grushevka to Sudak 26 km or 32 minutes on the way.

The road is mountainous, wooded, steep turns. The pike perch is located in the middle of an amazing landscape reminiscent of the Martian. In Sudak, a car trip across Crimea can be temporarily suspended by settling in one of the city's many hotels.

The main attraction of the city is the magnificent Genoese fortress, which is most often depicted on postcards about the Crimea. Sudak has excellent fishing, many great restaurants, attractions, excellent beaches.

Sudak - Simferopol

To continue our route "Crimea" we return to Grushevka, on the highway "Kerch-Simferopol". From Grushevka to the capital of Crimea 80 kilometers, 1 hour 28 minutes on the way.

The road is fairly flat, but attention should not be reduced. Near the village of Topolevka (9.4 km from Grushevka), you can make a stop, as there is a famous women's monastery, mountains with holy springs. You can leave the car in a paid parking lot, go up to the monastery, swim in the font.

Traveling around Crimea is unique in that already on the way from one major city to another, tourists meet a huge number of attractions. The city of Belogorsk on the way from Grushevka to Simferopol is an excellent confirmation of these words. Most of the Soviet Westerns were filmed in this town, including the famous film The Headless Horseman. You should definitely see the unique White Rock, which is present in a huge number of Soviet films.

The largest zoo on the peninsula "Taigan" is located in Belogorsk. Its employees are engaged in breeding large predators - lions, leopards and tigers. The huge pride of 50 lions is one of the largest in Europe. If tourists are tired, overcoming the route "Crimea" will always offer rest. There is a wonderful hotel in Belogorsk right next to the Taigan Zoo.

Simferopol

The distance from Belogorsk to Simferopol is 45 kilometers, the road takes 52 minutes. On the way, tourists will not meet any special sights, however, as well as in Simferopol itself. This is a fairly large and bustling city. However, it is rather difficult not to visit Simferopol when going on a trip to the Crimea, because all Crimean roads converge here at a single point.

Near the building of the Crimean State Council, the A. Nevsky Cathedral, destroyed by the Bolsheviks, has been restored. Standing next to the revived building, you feel a sense of history.

After a little rest in Simferopol, we continue our route "Crimea", which invites you to its greatest city - Sevastopol.

We are waiting for 80 kilometers along the most beautiful terrain, 1 hour 27 minutes. We will follow the motorway H06.

The road to the legendary city leads through no less legendary places. Halfway from the capital of Crimea to Bakhchisarai, there is the Skalistoye village with a unique lake. This lake, formed in a rock quarry, is known from the film "Inhabited Island" by Fyodor Bondarchuk.

The water in the lake is absolutely blue, it does not bloom. The lake is full of fish, you can have a rest with fishing.

It is difficult to imagine a trip to Crimea without visiting the capital of the most ancient Crimean Khanate - Bakhchisarai.

Bakhchisarai

The place glorified by Alexander Pushkin is one of the most original cities in Crimea. In ancient times, Bakhchisarai was a typical eastern city, with a bazaar, a slave market, and mosques. The main attraction of modern Bakhchisarai is the Khan's Palace. Not far from the palace is the Holy Dormition Monastery, unique in that all its cells are located in caves.

This incredible Sevastopol

A few days later (depending on the number and duration of stops), a trip across Crimea brings tourists to the famous city of Sevastopol. It is difficult to find a Russian who does not know something about the history of this amazing place.

The city is large and it is rather difficult to navigate in it without a navigator. There are a lot of sights in Sevastopol, so one day is hardly enough for tourists. Breathtaking military panoramas, the most beautiful Nakhimov Square, the famous monument to the lost ships, the Cathedral of St. Vladimir, the Chersonese reserve, numerous bays with huge ships of the Black Sea Fleet moored.

The resort development of Sevastopol began relatively recently. Over a short period of time, several excellent hotels have appeared in the city, but a full-fledged resort infrastructure, as in other cities of Crimea, has not yet been built here.

Traveling around Crimea by car is good because tourists can always go to satellite cities of large tourist clusters. For example, near Sevastopol there is a wonderful town of Inkerman, in which a vintage wine factory has been operating since tsarist times.

Having visited Inkerman and bought gifts for relatives, we go to Balaklava, hidden in the fjords. This place is incredibly similar to Scandinavia: photos of Balaklava are almost indistinguishable from photos of Norwegian or Swedish fjords.

Balaklava Bay is fenced off from the sea by a picturesque chain of rocks. The banks are steep and winding. In the USSR, the bay was used as a base for the Black Sea Fleet; submarines entered the bay for repair and preservation. An underground submarine repair plant, carved into the rock, has survived to this day and has now become a museum.

Modern Balaklava is a great place to relax while traveling in Crimea. Sailing is developed in the town, you can rent a yacht, go fishing in the bay. Excursion companies offer an exciting sea trip.

Sevastopol - Foros

From Sevastopol we go to the village of Foros on the southern coast of Crimea. The settlement became widely known during the collapse of the USSR, when M. Gorbachev was temporarily blocked in it.

From Sevastopol to Foros 48 kilometers, 57 minutes. Our trip to Crimea has been going on for a long time, and it's time to relax on the beach. Foros is perfect for this.

There are many hotels and small private hotels in the village. The beaches are clean, pebbly or sandy.

The main attraction of Foros is a colossal park of rare plants brought from all over the world. The development of the park began in the middle of the 19th century, when businessman A. Kuznetsov settled in Foros. Junipers, oaks and pines growing on the Foros coast easily welcomed exotic guests and made an amazing ensemble with them. Foros - the decoration of our route "Crimea" opens in a new capacity, like a real health resort. After all, what could be nicer and more useful than sitting in a gazebo by a pond in a stunning park, which has no equal in Europe?

Foros - Alupka

Alupka is located 24 kilometers, 34 minutes from Foros. The road runs along the southern coast of Crimea - we drive along the sea all the time. It is an amazing sensation, incomparable with anything. The sea breeze penetrates the open windows of the car - a trip around the Crimea has never been so pleasant.

Small resort villages that meet on the way - Sanatornoye, Beregovoe, Simeiz - are pleasing to the eye. In them you can buy delicious food, refuel your car, relax on the beach.

Alupka is a wonderful resort town. It is worth staying here longer, to see the largest temple in Crimea - the Church of the Archangel Michael, which can accommodate 900 parishioners at a time.

Alupka pleases with stunning nature, a huge number of flowers, magnificent architecture. It seems that the town is almost entirely composed of palaces, villas and temples.

In the luxurious Vorontsov Palace, a person feels a connection with their ancestors, plunges into the incredible, complex history of Crimea.

If a trip to Crimea has brought tourists to Alupka, one of the first activities should be a visit to the greatest peak of the peninsula - Ai-Petri. The mountain offers stunning views of the sea, rocks, waterfalls and a beech grove.

Alupka - Yalta

Only 21 km, or 38 minutes of the way - and our journey across the Crimea leads us to the main city of the southern coast of the peninsula. Yalta is a true pearl of the Crimea, a magnificent resort town. In the area of Big Yalta there is an incredible number of attractions. All of them are fully accessible for the motorist. This is a park in Partenit, the majestic Ayu-Dag mountain, Nikitin's botanical garden, VDC "Artek". In Gaspra, tourists will find the Swallow's Nest - the main tourist sight of Crimea, its visiting card.

It is a pleasure to go to Yalta from Alupka. Wide canvas, almost complete absence of mountain serpentine, difficult turns. The atmosphere and views along the road can only be called magical. Here the sights and beauty of Crimea reach their climax, maximum concentration. It is difficult to name the section of the path right off the bat, not only in Crimea or Europe, but all over the world, which is just as full of stunning views. Tourists understand why they have done such a difficult route - the Crimea opens up before them in its full splendor.

Nikitinsky Botanical Garden in Yalta is an amazing collection of plants from all over the world. In the Livadia palaces, it seems, the steps of His Imperial Majesty and his daughters still sound. The Swallow's Nest is a unique, most complex architectural object that has no equal in the world.

One of the largest organ halls in Europe is located in Livadia. The cable car to Ai-Petri begins in the village of Miskhor. Here you can fully experience the beauty of the mountains.

And, of course, it is absolutely impossible to imagine a trip to Crimea without visiting Yalta. The city concentrates the spirit of the southern coast of Crimea. Yalta embankment is like the Statue of Liberty in New York. Every tourist considers it his duty to take a picture here. The Yalta energy industry is amazing, mesmerizing.

The city has two huge dolphinariums and a world-famous zoo.

The wall of the Yalta embankment is lined with pleasure yachts. One of the most memorable entertainments in Yalta is a boat trip. A great option is a sightseeing tour along the coast. Sometimes you can see dolphins near the yacht - both adults and children will be delighted.

Massandra

A suburb of Yalta, a city that is a symbol of domestic winemaking. At the end of the 19th century, Prince Golitsyn founded in Massandra a factory for the production of vintage wine using traditional technologies. The factory operates to this day, delighting tourists with excellent young wine and samples aged for many decades.

Yalta is also good for extreme sports fans. Not far from the city is the main mountain serpentine of the Crimea - Ai-Petri. On the mountain top there is an observation deck covering almost the entire Southshore. Restaurants, attractions, souvenir shops are located not far from the site.

Yalta - Alushta

The next point of our trip to Crimea is Alushta. This city is located 35 kilometers from Yalta, it takes about 47 minutes to drive to it.

Alushta is more modest than Yalta, but it is also a resort of the highest level. There are many excellent hotels and holiday homes here. Clean, well-equipped beaches beckon with golden overflow of sand. Alushta embankment was completely reconstructed after a powerful storm in 2013. In Alushta, tourists should visit a water park, a huge aquarium and a park of miniatures known throughout Crimea.

The miniature park contains all the Crimean sights, but in a reduced size.

Unlike Yalta, Alushta is a relatively inexpensive city and it is quite possible to stay here for a longer period. The city is perfect for families. In the village of Malorechenskoye you can enjoy the beaches to your heart's content; in Rybachye, fishing lovers will find their ideal rest.

The swimming season in Alushta starts in May and lasts until late autumn. The peak flow of tourists is in July-August. Alushta nature is distinguished by its reserved quality. In Alushta, you can improve your health, gain strength to continue your trip to Crimea.

In the city, it is worth visiting the Jur-Dzhur waterfall, the Stakheev house, the Valley of Ghosts, the Temple of All Saints, and the Aluston Tower.

Alushta - New World

Having had a good rest in Alushta, you can continue the route, Crimea has not shown us all its attractions yet. We have a march to the village of Novy Svet. The road will take 2 hours 19 minutes, you will have to cover 98 kilometers.

The path is quite difficult, with a lot of mountain serpentine, but the road almost always goes along the coast. You can stop along the way in the cozy villages of Rybachye, Privetnoye, Morskoye. We arrive in Novyi Svet through the Sudak we have already visited.

The new light is like the icing on the cake in our route. This is an amazing place, which the ancient Greeks called "Paradise". This is the most picturesque place on the peninsula with magnificent nature and clean air.

Diving enthusiasts from different countries of the world gather in the New World. The settlement was opened and equipped by the famous Russian industrialist L. Golitsyn, the founder of the domestic winemaking. Each tourist can visit a museum dedicated to winemaking, taste the products of Crimean winemakers.

Return. Novyi Svet - Kerch Ferry

Our trip to Crimea is coming to an end. Many hours on the road, filled with sun, light and sea air. Dozens of cities and towns, hundreds of attractions.

We return to the Kerch ferry along the already familiar route, through Feodosia. The road will take 2 hours 36 minutes, 160 kilometers have to be covered. Before diving on the ferry, you can relax in Kerch, settling in one of the small private hotels.
