Where to go downhill? Shukolovo - Ski club of Leonid Tyagachev

Skiing from the mountain has been a favorite pastime for both children and adults at all times. To replace the cardboard and plywood, which were placed under themselves, in order to glide better, came comfortable, inflatable sleds - tubing.

Why tubing has become so popular It is not only safe, but also fun - invigorates, produces hormones of joy, strengthens family friendships and even entire work teams.

Therefore, many have a question: where to appear on the cheesecakes. Fortunately, there are more than enough places for this. All kinds of slopes in the yard, in the forest, in the park, etc. are suitable for this. If you are not sure that this is yours, or there is no place to store inflatable sleds at home, you can take a tubing for rent - it is inexpensive and convenient. And also, if you do not ride constantly, or are traveling in a large company, it is easier to rent it.

If you plan to ride with children, it is better to choose not very steep and not very high slides. Although children may be drawn to extreme sports, their safety is paramount. Children can ride on their own on a children's cheesecake, or together with an adult on a large tubing. It is better to be guided by the rule - for small children, a small height, older ones can be allowed to ride from higher slopes.

After I went tobogganing in Finland, I fired up to repeat it in Russia. Unfortunately, we do not have such slopes as our neighbors, but we have the so-called tubing, which is enough even for a small slide. It is not for nothing that this type of winter entertainment is called modern sleds, which are easy to pull after riding uphill compared to metal ones. By the way, in addition to the fact that these so-called "cheesecakes" are madly in love with children, they are also very popular with adults, who recall childhood joys with pleasure. "

In general, the following advantages can be distinguished, which suit me quite well:

  1. Sooooo many slides to ride
  2. Inexpensive rental
  3. Safely!
  4. Very cool feeling!

So if anyone is going to ride, keep this list with you, it is relevant for this year!

Downhill skiing is one of the most beloved and democratic winter entertainment that does not require any special training or sophisticated equipment. You can ride on sleds, ice skates, snow-scooters, tubes and even on cardboard boxes. But the work of the ice slides directly depends on the weather conditions.

In general, there are several types of winter slides: wild, but very picturesque, unequipped slopes of natural origin and artificial slides. To ride most of them, you just need to buy an entrance ticket to the ice town. But there are also ice slides of a special design, where a fee is charged for each descent.

A separate type of slides are public tubing tracks in city parks with cheesecake rental. Hourly wages are practiced here. Also, special slopes are prepared for the winter season in ski centers. They are of high quality, the possibility of renting equipment, the availability of lifts and not the most democratic prices.

In addition, there are places in almost every area that can be used as slides. However, not all of them have a good quality coating and do not always meet safety requirements.

This winter, everyone under favorable weather conditions will be able to ride 39 slides in 28 recreation areas. Of these, two slides - at VDNKh and in the 50th Anniversary of October park - are all-weather. In 18 parks, sledding, tubing and ice sledding will be free of charge.

Tubing slide "Shining" at VDNKh

On the site in front of Pavilion No. 57 at VDNKh, a seven-meter tubing slide "Shining" was opened.

The slide is treated with a special all-weather coating. The whole family can ride the "cheesecakes" - five slopes with a plastic cover work at the same time.

The playground for active family recreation will give a vivid experience of riding "cheesecakes" to visitors of all ages. Children up to 110 cm tall must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 3 years old are not allowed on the slide. Tubes are lifted using a drag lift.

Working hours: Monday - Friday from 11:00 to 23:00,
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10:00 to 23:00.
Ticket price: from 40 rubles.

Tubing slide in the park of the 50th anniversary of October

An all-weather tubing slide is also open in the 50th Anniversary of October park. You can ride it at any time of the year, thanks to a special coating that is resistant to temperature extremes and mechanical damage.

Opening hours: daily from 10:00 to 22:00.
Ticket price: 300 rubles / 60 minutes (200 rubles - with your own tubing).

Wild slides

You can find a nice slide near the house. Due to the natural unevenness of the relief, many snow slides are formed in winter. In addition, the locals, of course, know the places where the roller coasters are "rolled" every year.

Wonderful slides, gentle and steep, can be found in the large ravine behind the Palace of Pioneers. It is always crowded here, they ride on cheesecakes, and on ice, and on sleds, and even on snowmobiles.

Long and rather gentle slopes from the hill await guests in the Rostokinsky aqueduct area. There are also ice slopes. And there are special paths for climbing.

You can also have fun on the slides formed by the ravines in the Neskuchny Garden.

In this article, we talked about all the capital's slides. But it should be remembered that the weather in the capital is very changeable. Therefore, before riding on any slide, you should look out the window in advance to make sure that there is a good snow cover on the ground.

Let's hope that this winter the weather will still allow fans of downhill skiing to ride and recharge with a great mood. But be sure to remember about safety. After all, the organizers of such entertainment warn: "Using tubing is your own risk!"

  • This is one of the favorite winter activities for residents of the Moscow region. Unlike hard sledges and thin ice-cakes, cheesecakes are safer and more comfortable means. The RIAMO correspondent found paid and free tubing lines in the Moscow region and found out where you can go down the mountain with a breeze, read the RIAMO material.

    Gorki in Kolomenskoye

There are two natural slopes open for skiing. For kids, a safe and rather gentle slope on Nizhnyaya Street is suitable, and for those who like speed - a steep descent closer to the central part of the park on Zelenaya Polyana. Another winter entertainment in Kolomenskoye is a ride on a six-seater inflatable "Banana". This is the overland version of the popular water attraction, where a real snowmobile rolls along the park alleys instead of a boat of squealing children.

Food. Near the entrance to the park, there is a Pizzamento pizzeria and a Cappucinoff coffee shop with a standard set of coffee, tea, salads, sandwiches, some hot food and children's animation on weekends. In order to ride, you need to climb a slowly moving travolator (which is an adventure in itself) to the top of the hill, and then slide down with a squeal. If you still have strength, you can look at the Ice skating rink, which is located a couple of steps from the slide. Children under seven years of age are not allowed on the slide due to the possible injury hazard.

The base specializes in downhill skiing, but not so long ago, a tubing track appeared here. The slide is small (its length is about 70 meters), with a turn. But you don't have to worry about the unsuitable weather: an artificial snowmaking system works on the slope.

Climbing to the top here is a pleasure. You cling to the rope with a cheesecake and slowly climb up. If there are not enough slides, you can get up on skis: there is a children's and youth school in the "Slope", where everyone from 6 years old is accepted.

Food. Better to take sandwiches and tea with you - there is no restaurant on the slope yet.

    Sports complex KANT

The tubing track in KANT is open in the most convenient place - right at the entrance, not far from the Chalet restaurant. The 70-meter slide has five tracks for both adults and children. There is no lift: you will have to climb on foot, dragging the cheesecake behind you. If you do not want to stand in line, it is better to come here on weekdays, when there are not so many people here.
