Hainan airlines baggage allowance. Airline "Hainan Airlines. Rules for conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections

What are the rules in China regarding the carriage of baggage

Baggage

International flights

The rules for the carriage of baggage on international flights are established by each airline and may be different. Also, the class of service chosen for traveling in China affects the conditions of permissible norms.

Most airlines provide the opportunity to carry 1 piece of baggage weighing from 20 kg to 32 kg for economy class passengers free of charge. We strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with this and other important information on the official website of your airline.

After a pleasant stay and shopping in China, it is important that the items purchased on the trip arrive safe and sound. The name of the owner should be indicated on each piece of baggage. Additional charges apply for carriage of baggage that exceeds the limits set by the airline. And if you are planning to bring large souvenirs, you may find it more convenient to send them by mail.

Domestic flights

The limits and restrictions on baggage allowed for carriage on domestic flights in China also depend on the airline and class of service. In most cases, passengers are entitled to 1 piece of baggage that meets the requirements set by the airline.

The following is an example of the difference in weight limit depending on the class of trip:

  • Air China: 40 kg in first class; 30 kg in business class; 20 kg in economy class.

Hand luggage

International flights

Free carry-on baggage allowances also vary by airline. Generally, carry-on baggage must fit under the front seat or on a dedicated baggage rack. The total allowable weight of carry-on baggage can range from 2 to 8 kg, depending on the airline and the class of service you choose.

First class passengers are often allowed 2 pieces of carry-on baggage. All other passengers are only entitled to 1 piece of carry-on baggage and a personal item such as a jacket. Additional charges apply for carriage of baggage that exceeds the limits set by the airline.

Permissible dimensions of free baggage in carry-on baggage:

  • Air China: 55x40x20cm
  • China Airlines: 56x36x23 cm
  • Delta: 56x35x23cm

Domestic flights

The rules for domestic flights in China vary by airline. However, as a general rule, the size restrictions for carry-on baggage are usually the same as for international flights and also depend on the class you are traveling with.

Restrictions

On the territory of China, the following substances are prohibited for carriage in the luggage compartment:

  • Flammable, explosive, oxidizing, poisonous, toxic, radioactive
  • Weapons and sharp or dangerous objects

  • Crystal... Crystal in Hainan is rightly called the third treasure of the island after pearls and tea. The island is home to the largest rock crystal deposits in China. Hainan crystal is considered the purest, so it is used to make jewelry and even glasses for glasses. Crystal carving is highly valued. For example, Mao Zedong's sarcophagus is made of Hainan crystal.
  • Shark oil... At the beginning of the 20th century, a Japanese doctor discovered a special substance in shark fat - squalene, capable of acting as a natural antibiotic. In addition, scientists have found that shark oil contains another important compound - aloxyglycerides, which have a powerful effect on the immune system. Among other things, shark fat is the best supplier of valuable vitamins A, E, D - these are vitamins that fight age-related changes in the body. Tan... It is better to sunbathe before 11 am, otherwise overheating and sunburn threatens. Excessive sun exposure can ruin your entire vacation. Use high UV protection creams. Do not neglect hats when you are in the sun for a long time.

Transport

The main means of transportation in China are buses and taxis. It is better to use a taxi to get around the city. On the roof of the car there is a sign "TAXI", and on the glass there is a payment for 1 km of the track, payment is made according to the meter readings. The fare for a taxi less than 2 km is 10 yuan, then 2 yuan for each kilometer. During the holidays, the fare is increased by 5 RMB.

The bus is the most economical mode of transport, bus routes provide connections throughout Sanya and the suburbs.

Main shuttle buses:

  • Bus # 2: East Station - Dadonghai - City Center - College

Rent a Car
Since an international driving license in China is not valid, car rental is only possible "complete" with a driver. This is all the more convenient since driving in China is, to put it mildly, specific.

The culture

Rules of behavior. China is a country with age-old traditions and culture, so it is best not to violate social and religious norms in order not to offend local residents.

  • You cannot take pictures of military, strategic objects and government buildings, as well as people, without first asking their permission.
  • In China, it is not recommended to argue about political issues, especially about Mao Zedong, student unrest, etc.
  • You cannot express dissatisfaction with the culture and history of China, as well as show disrespect for them.
  • You can't litter, you can be fined for it.
  • You should not be aggressive or irritated towards the Chinese.
  • Most Chinese people are friendly towards tourists, so be prepared for the fact that many locals will greet you and perhaps even point a finger - react calmly to this.
  • It is not allowed to touch the woman, take her by the arm.
  • It is not customary to open the door for a woman or give her a seat, because women and men in China have equal rights.
  • You should refrain from smoking in hotels, parks, squares and on the street, and drinking alcoholic beverages is also prohibited in these places.
  • Taking food with chopsticks from the plate should be silent.
  • Noodles need to be sucked in with a noise - all Chinese do this, it shows how delicious you are.
  • It is impossible to stick sticks (or devices) vertically into a bowl of food - this reminds of incense smoking in a temple, and consequently - evokes thoughts about the transition to another world.
  • In no case should you string pieces of food on sticks - this will offend every Chinese person.

Telephones

Upon arrival in China, it is most profitable to buy a local SIM card, because calls will be cheaper than calling from a hotel. Cellular communication is widespread in China practically throughout the entire territory. When buying a SIM card, you should make sure that the selected tariff plan has international roaming. In addition, it is better to ask the seller on the spot to activate it, because doing it yourself can be difficult without knowing Chinese. You can buy a SIM card at the offices of China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom. You can also purchase cards for international calls with per minute pay.

For calls to Russia, you need to dial 007 (Russia code) + city code + the phone number you need.

When dialing a Chinese landline number from your mobile phone, you need to dial: + 7 + 86 (China code) + area code + the phone number you need.
