Lake triangular karelia. Triangular lake. "Right Crow's Nest"

There are several beautiful lakes not far from the border with Finland, and one of them is Triangular, well known to many novice climbers. The lake itself is quite small, about 100 meters across, but there are several rocks next to it, which climbers use for their training. One of these rocks is located directly on the shore, and rises above the lake with a sheer wall, and a good panoramic view of the surroundings opens from the top.

There are many small parking lots. And near the neighboring Novoselsky lake, 100 meters through the forest, there is also a couple of meadows. But despite the rather large number of places for tents, sometimes difficulties arise in finding free ones due to the great popularity of the place. The neighboring lake is much larger and is of more interest to fishermen than to those who love beautiful landscapes. Not everyone dares to swim in these lakes, the water is muddy, and the bottom is clay-muddy.

The whole area is indented with paths, which is perfect for walking. However, there are no trails to the top of the main cliff, and non-climbers will have to look for a convenient climb on their own. The most convenient way is to look for a hole upward from the back side, where the rock is most shallow, but even here you will still have to climb over the stones.

How to get there: In order to get here, you must first of all take into account that the lake is located in the border zone. The safest way is to have a visa, or to issue a tourist pass in advance. You can do this by submitting a completed application with a copy of your passport to Shpalernaya 62 (entrance from Kavalergardskaya Street), in a month you will be given a pass (information for 2017).

Having finally received a pass, we drive past Vyborg in the direction of Imatra. On the way, two border posts will meet, where cars are selectively stopped to check documents. This is where the pass will come in handy, without which they can deploy if you get caught ... And in the future, it is better not to remove it, because sometimes the patrol goes through the forests. Having passed the control, after Lesogorsky, we are looking for the sign "Losevo 1.9", we go there. Having reached 5-storey buildings, the main road will go to the right, but we need to go straight. Then the asphalt ends and 10 km of the grader begins. At the first fork, with a gazebo in the center, we go right. After a few kilometers, a wooden cow pen will appear on the left, and a large field will appear on the right. Immediately after this, there is a barrier, in front of which you must turn left. Again we go a few kilometers, and there will be a fork with a "secondary road", on which there is a shield "take care of the forest". We go to the right. Then immediately another fork: The main road goes to the left at an angle of 90 degrees, and the secondary road goes straight. Directly to us. Immediately there will be a third fork, here we are again directly. After a kilometer and a half, at the next fork, we drive to the left, into the field .. If everything is done correctly, there will be a sign of the Lietlahti farm on the field, we go further ... On the way, we will also encounter a log bridge and a steep ascent with many stones. Having overcome it, there will be an impromptu parking lot where you can leave the car, further walking along the paths, we are looking for a clearing.

The Leningrad Region is famous for its magnificent nature - forests, lakes and rivers. We can say that the reservoirs are the hallmark of this region. According to scientists, there are more than forty thousand lakes in the vicinity of St. Petersburg. They all differ in size and history of origin. Most of them are located in Vyborgsky, Podporozhsky and Priozersky districts. As a rule, they are of glacial origin, and therefore their depth is not too great.

Residents of the northern capital love to spend their free time on the lakes. Magnificent nature, clean fresh air, exciting fishing attract the townspeople. These places are of particular interest to fans of extreme recreation. This is easily explained: in the vicinity of the city there are picturesque Karelian granite rocks.

Ten years ago, the most visited areas were the areas of the Big Rocks near and the Hiitola Rock, located in the same direction. Since 2000, a young region, located at the Finnish border, the rocks of Lake Triugolnoe, began to actively develop, which quickly gained popularity among fans of rock climbing and bouldering in our country.

Lake Triangular, Vyborgsky District

To relax a bit in the fresh air, enjoy the silence and beauty of the wild nature, many residents of St. Petersburg go to the countryside. We also offer you to make a small virtual excursion to the Triangular Lake (Leningrad region). It is located forty kilometers from Vyborg in the direction of Svetogorsk.

The triangular lake, the photo of which you can see below, is hidden from prying eyes and reliably protected by rocks. It is especially picturesque in summer. Here you can go fishing, admire its blue mirror-like surface. But most tourists, especially in recent years, prefer to come here to practice their favorite sport - climbing.

The massifs surrounding Triangular Lake have become a real Mecca for lovers of active pastime. The rock massif is located almost on the Finnish border, in the northern part of the Karelian Isthmus. Picturesque nature and a large number of interesting trails for beginners and professionals beckon here everyone who dreams of conquering mountains and rocks.

This massif, surrounding Triangular Lake, was discovered quite recently (2000) by Vladimir Molodozhen and Konstantin Beketov. In 2001, the first routes were already laid here. According to experts, the potential of this region is enormous. Rock massifs with a huge number of paved trails, many parking places, no water problems - what could be better for an active holiday?

Weather

The period from July to August is considered ideal for visiting the Leningrad Region. At this time, the air warms up to +28 ° C, and the water in the lake - up to +26 ° C. Climbers prefer to go to these places in June and September. Experienced tourists believe that at this time the weather on Triangular Lake is more convenient for practicing their favorite sport, especially for bouldering and difficult routes, since the air temperature is 2-3 degrees lower.

In addition, this feature starts here in June. This feature allows climbers to train almost around the clock. Nature lovers should be guided by a long-term weather forecast - in the early spring, such a trip can be exciting.

Natural and ethnographic park

Lake Triangular and the Lietlahti farm are part of a unique complex. According to the idea of the creators of the natural ethnographic park and at the same time the owners of the farm - spouses Zhan and Olga Grazhulisov, the project provides for several development vectors:

  • sports-amateur and sports directions;
  • rural tourism;
  • local history and ethnography;
  • construction of carpentry, joinery, stucco and pottery workshops;
  • establishment of a camping center.

Formulating the concept of the park, the Grazhulis couple argue that it is an efficient way of approaching land use. The main goal of the complex is to provide guests with the opportunity to delve into the history of these places and interact with nature.

A bit of history

Until 1940, the name Lietlahti was borne by a village located not far from the small Fortress Lake. Today it has a different name - Triangular Lake. The first houses in this area appeared in 1635. By the beginning of the 20th century, there were about twenty-five houses in the village of Lietlahti (Kirva volost of the Finnish principality).

Later, this territory was incorporated into the Russian Empire, then (after 1917) it became part of independent Finland, and in 1940 it became part of the RSFSR.

Lietlahti today

Today it is a natural and ethnographic park, which began to be created in 2008. At the same time, work began on the restoration of the farm of the same name. The territory of the present park corresponds to the area occupied by the village of Lietlahti.

Currently, guests have at their disposal a large house that can simultaneously accommodate thirty-five people. The farm has electricity, water and gas supply, Wi-Fi, toilet and sauna. The park has 268 tracks. In 2015, two new rope climbing sectors were introduced - routes for beginners and the rather difficult sector of Incorpi. The Triangular Lake massifs are within walking distance of the Lietlahti Camping and the main house.

Routes and rocks

The rocks of Triangular Lake are unique. They differ from other Karelian massifs in a huge variety of relief. Here you can also see "lamb's foreheads" with sharp passives and minuscules, large vertical cracks, overhanging slabs, and internal corners. Inexperienced climbers have a place to work on their skills: more than twenty routes have been developed for them. Below we present you the most popular ones.

"Right Crow's Nest"

A regular and long route with a roll-out into the "nest", rest in it and an exit to the top. Even the dugouts in the middle of the route do not spoil the overall impression.

"Prophetic Oleg"

The route, laid on "lamb's foreheads", liabilities and minuscules. The track is uniform, of medium difficulty.

"The Kid and Carlson Castaneda"

An excellent route with only one drawback - a short length. It will require self-control and attention from the athlete.

"Pine"

This route begins on a gentle landing, followed by a key transition from an inclined ledge to a vertical slot. The transition is not clearly expressed, it is necessary to find a clue. You can try to do this several times, returning to the shelf to rest.

"Pisu Peace"

All tracks are very different: from the shortest bouldering tracks - up to 12 m, to the long ones designed for endurance - up to 25 m, with difficulty from 5s to 8s. Routes of the most different inclination angle from “recumbent” to strong overhangs, moreover, they often change their angle of inclination.

Northern White Nights allow two workouts a day. Usually the first starts at 10.00 and lasts until 15.00, and the second - after swimming in the lake, lunch and daytime rest from 21.00 to 24.00. Most of the rocks face south. Therefore, even after prolonged summer rains, they dry out very quickly in the sun, the only exceptions are large cracks. And on some tracks with strong overhangs, you can train even in heavy rain.

Accommodation

In recent years, most tourists have chosen to stay at Lietlahti Park. Here you will be offered comfortable accommodation in a central house or in a campsite. All premises are supplied with electricity, water, there is a kitchen for cooking with all the necessary utensils. There is an excellent sauna on the territory. Free parking is provided at the guest house.

And lovers of a more romantic holiday can settle on the shores of Lake Triangular in a tent camp. The only condition that should be strictly observed when creating your camp is not to occupy the parking lots of various communities and climbers' clubs. The entire area around the lake is in an official, documented lease from the Winner company.

You cannot drive directly to the parking lots by car, you must follow the path. This should be taken into account when traveling with small children.

Accommodation rules

As Triangular Lake grows in popularity every year, seasoned hikers and climbers are encouraged to follow the rules of conduct. They are quite simple:

  • do not leave trash behind;
  • watch out for bonfires;
  • bury toilets;
  • do not pour household waste and chemicals into the waters of the lake;
  • do not leave inscriptions or drawings on rocks and trees.

Communication with border guards

The triangular lake with rock massifs and the Lietlahti park are located in the border zone. All guests are advised to treat the border officials with respect. Sometimes they come to the camps or you can meet them on the trails. As a rule, a polite and friendly conversation ends with a document check.

Climbers who have a pass are allowed:

  • freely be in the reserve and the border zone;
  • punching rocks and relaxing on the shore of the lake;
  • to fish.

Registration of the pass

The border zone, in addition to the lake, rocks and a park, also includes a section of the road on which border points are located. A pass is required during transit or being in the border zone. To date, not a single case of failure for climbers has been recorded. The document is drawn up without any questions, however, the procedure is delayed for 30 days. Therefore, you should take care of this in advance, ordering documents in Vyborg or St. Petersburg, and pick them up on the way to the rocks. This service is free.

Triangular lake how to get there?

Below we will present you the available ways that will allow you to get to the Triangular Lake, and you choose the most convenient one for you.

From St. Petersburg you can get to Vyborg by local electric train, then change to a regular bus.

You might want to go by car to Triangular Lake. How to get there? The route is as follows: St. Petersburg - Vyborg - Lesogorsky - Losevo - rocks and a lake. The road through Vyborg along Priozerskoe highway, bypassing the village of Svobodnoye, and further to Topolki will take you an extra three hours. Moreover, the road itself cannot be called ideal. Therefore, many people prefer to get there by train.

1. Road

A month passed imperceptibly after returning from the Crimea in May. The fingers began to forget the "taste" of touching the stone. Vacation is still far away, but this is not a reason to spend half the summer within four walls. Due to the fact that June 12 is the third day off, we have the opportunity to go to real rocks. As in previous years, the choice fell on Karelia. To be absolutely precise, this is not Karelia, but the Leningrad region, but many people associate the forests of the Karelian Isthmus with Karelia, and before the Finnish war it was Karelia. So all the same Karelia.

Only this time I wanted something new. The reports on Triangle Lake from PP, OSS, route classifier and photos of lost in the forests of rocks were thrilling. However, all of our predecessors got to the place on their cars or bicycles, and we did not have either one or the other. For a long time, a variety of plans were ripening in my head, which were almost impossible to implement. And then one day I once again looked at the map of the Karelian Isthmus and it dawned on me: "Before this Triangular from Vyborg, some 90 kilometers!" To overcome this distance, you can hire a taxi driver for a very reasonable price. The ghostly idea immediately became quite achievable.

Having studied the timetable of electric trains from St. Petersburg to Vyborg and from Vyborg to Lesogorsk, I discovered that Lesogorsk, from which a "bad" forest road goes to Triangle, is not a hole at all. Diesel trains run from Vyborg to Lesogorsk quite often, albeit slowly. Lost in the woods, almost inaccessible, the lake has become very close: night on the train; train to Vyborg; diesel to Lesogorsk; searching for a car in Lesogorsk; by car towards the cherished lake, until the road becomes "completely bad"; and finally on foot through the forest for 5 kilometers or more. It is acceptable for us to take a taxi directly from Vyborg, but there was a high probability that, having reached the “bad” dirt road, the driver would refuse to drive further.

The age-old problem with buying tickets to St. Petersburg and back has been resolved. We went there on Wednesday evening, taking two days off at work, and went back in a sitting carriage and arrived in Moscow at 10:20 am on Tuesday. Food, films, repellents, tickets, gear bought. Map, timetables, guide are printed. Things have been collected. The weather forecast is optimistic. And so on the evening train we leave for St. Petersburg.

In St. Petersburg we have little time. Without stopping anywhere, we take the metro to Finland Station, buy express tickets to Vyborg (160 rubles), try to buy bread, but the shops are still closed. We have breakfast on the express train, and here we are in Vyborg. According to the schedule, 5 minutes after the arrival of our express, diesel Vyborg - Svetogorsk leaves. It is desirable for us to catch it. We run from platform to platform, and here we are in an old trailer, where the seats are wooden and the windows are latched shut. Mostly summer residents - pensioners - travel in the carriage. The conductor sells tickets, which they buy very badly. Everyone has benefits, but everyone is familiar. When we bought the tickets (60 rubles per person), it looks like the conductor fulfilled the plan for the treatment for a month in advance. Diesel goes painfully slow, stops at every pole, but we have nowhere to be late. In 2 hours we are in Lesogorsk.

Lesogorsk is not Lesogorsk because the mountains there are overgrown with forests. In Lesogorsk, there are just mountains of forests! There are mountains of logs along the railway, timber wagons, timber trucks with Finnish identification marks stand. This is the forest from which the Finns build their houses and make their furniture.

In Lesogorsk we go to the store and buy bread. We will ask the saleswoman for the phone number of the Svetogorsk taxi: + 7-921-575-24-37. We call, ask for a bigger car, more passable. In 10 minutes a taxi driver arrives in a broken Zhiguli, but with checkers. We sit in the car, indistinctly explain to the driver where to go, we go. I sit in the front seat. I have a map in my hands, I have the duties of a navigator. Driving past a shop in the village of Losevo, the driver asks: “Did you forget to buy anything? There will be no further shops. " We have everything, we don’t waste time. Behind the village, the asphalt ends and a dirt road begins with pits and potholes, but we drove along it at an average speed of 40 km / h, so the road is not as bad as it is written, you can go. When we approached the ford, I was already preparing to unload and continue on foot, but our driver bravely drove into a wide, but fortunately, not deep water barrier and overcame it with honor. Further the road became narrower, but not much worse. Soon we reached our final destination - Triangular Lake, right to the place. As we were later told by the residents of St. Petersburg, over the past year, Finnish timber trucks have noticeably improved the road. We unload, pay the driver (600 rubles for all). All the way from Peter took 6 hours. Very good.

1. To the bypass road of the city of Vyborg, it is recommended to go along the "Scandinavia" highway. Go through the interchange to Vyborg (we are going not to Vyborg, but to Helsinki), then skip one more interchange and turn at the interchange where there are turns to Vyborg and Kamenogorsk / Svetogorsk / Lesogorskoe. In 1.5 km there will be a border post (the post has already been closed for several years, although the border zone was officially restored). Further on the road to Kamenogorsk / Svetogorsk / Lesogorskoe (main) 9.4 km to the sign "Kamenogorsk - straight ahead, Lesogorskoe, Svetogorsk - to the left". You need to go to the left. The fork is very large, triangular. In 37.6 km there will be a railway crossing. After another 3.7 km you will see concrete bus stops (on both sides of the road). This is the turn to the village of Losevo and the village of Topolki (from border guards to turn 41.3 km, from the crossing - 3.7): turn right before reaching the right bus stop. The road on which you turned, before joining the main one, forks so that the bus stop is on the island. In 100 meters there will be a billboard with a picturesque inscription "Losevo". Drive 2.3 km along this road to the village of 6-8 five-story buildings. Already in the village there will be a fork: a good asphalt road leaves to the right, right up the hill past five-story buildings (they will be on the left) there is a road along which you have to go. On the way, go to the outskirts of the village, to the beginning of the dirt road (2.4 km from the bus stops). The primer goes downhill at first. Locals know this path for cars as the road to the village of Topolki. Everywhere you go along the main road. After 3.1 km there will be an intersection, an equivalent road adjoins your road on the left, a field on the right and a forest and a lake behind the field. Go straight. After another 3.3 km, the road forks. On the right is a field, in the distance a lake, a house, behind a house there is a forest. The road goes straight to the house, you - to the left along the main road. After 12 km from the beginning of the dirt road, after going downhill, the road makes a sharp turn to the left (the road is even inclined) and the slightly less noticeable road goes straight. At the fork on the road that goes straight, there is a sign "hunting farm". You need to drive straight, along a secondary road (the main road goes to Topolki). In 1-2 kilometers the road will enter the field. Before the field, a secondary road will go to the right. We must go straight across the field. After the field there will be a stream, which must be ford, and after the ford there will be a very bad road. If you really feel sorry for your iron horse, then you can leave it here. Although usually everyone crawls leisurely to the lake itself. To the lake along this road for about 1.5 km. It is impossible to pass the lake and rocks.

2. The rocks of Lake Treugolnoe can also be reached by the Priozerskoe highway. In terms of distance, this is even a little shorter, but you will hardly save in time due to the greater congestion of the Priozerskoe highway and the quality of the road. Nevertheless, if, for some reason, you are driving along Priozerskoe highway, then you need to turn after Losevo after about 10 km to the left to Melnikovo (before the turn, 200m away, there will be a wooden church with a blue dome on the right). In Melnikovo turn onto Borodinskoye (in the center of the village there is a roundabout - the last turn). On the road to Borodinskoe there is a section of the road about 3 km on which there is no asphalt. Be careful not to overspeed! In Borodinsky, after passing the railway crossing, immediately turn left onto Svobodnoye. In Svobodnoye the asphalt ends. If you have an off-road vehicle, then immediately after the asphalt in Svobodnoye is over, you can safely turn left onto the road leading to the rocks. Otherwise, we recommend that you make a "loop" through Topolki. To do this, we go straight to Svobodnoye. Then, at all the turns of the road, we turn left. Thus we get to the turn with the sign "hunting farm". See above for a description of the road.

Near the lake, in front of a small descent, on the left and right there will be meadows where you can leave your car. Keep in mind that there can be a lot of cars here on summer weekends, but few clearings. Do not park your car across the entire “parking lot”.

3. If you do not have a car, then the best option would be to come to this place by taxi from Lesogorsk. Local taxi drivers already know this place. You can get to Lesogorskoye by bus from Vyborg, and to Vyborg, in turn, by train. Some take a taxi directly in Vyborg. Large companies take a minibus in Vyborg as a taxi. Immediately we advise you to agree with the taxi driver to pick you up "on call".

The essay was written in early July 2013. and has not been published to this day.

The rock massif near Lake Triugolnoye is located in the north of the Karelian Isthmus, almost on the border with Finland. It was opened in 2000 by Konstantin Beketov and Vladimir Molodozhen. In 2001, the first routes were pierced. Now it is one of the most popular regions of the European part of Russia. Today, on the four main areas, there are almost ten hundred routes.

Epigraph:

Antonovich ruled the ball.
We helped him.
People climbed the rocks
And in the Crimea, and not in the Crimea.
And now here and there
IN SUMMER they climb SHIELDS!
How to return them to the rocks,
teach somebody!

Mikhail Levin.

“Almost all the hooks on the Triangle granites are aggressive activists. The climbing style itself is short to medium resistance. When preparing at a climbing wall, you need to choose just such interceptions and holds. Pre-strengthening of the toes with closed and semi-closed grip hanging and on-campus exercises will be helpful. ”

Sergey Shaferov.

In the summer of 2012, exhausted from the heat, in Simeiz, a memorable one even before the collapse of the USSR, Lida Pravdina and I dreamed of fresh rough paths on the cool rocks of the mysterious Triangular Lake, which is somewhere beyond St. Petersburg, near Abroad. A year has passed, Lida, by the will of circumstances, again went to Crimea, and I, having managed to escape from the usual circle of movements, in the company of Sergey Shaferov arrived at Triangular.

25.06.13. The multi-race "Red Fox Adventure Race" ended, where I did not part with the camera for almost two days. I tried to leave the equipment in St. Petersburg, but it didn’t work out - we have to work on a project where every interception is a story. "Catharsis" was broken about ten years ago and still remains a project, for some reason it is categorized - 8c +.

Let's go, unload, go, set up a tent. Here it is, "the cold stone of the midnight countries", the subject of our last year's dreams with Lida.
Sergei is in a hurry - the earth will turn a little more and the notorious “Catharsis” will come out of the shadows, from “not passed” it will turn into “impassable”.
Seven quickdraws, the first key after the fourth quickdraw is a passive pickup, for the most part, ordinary Catharsis seekers get here.
Everything is fine, but a little hot - pensive horseflies, gadflies, hornets are not able to bite through the approaching joy and grace of the surrounding landscape.
We climb in the sun - it's warm, despite the geographical latitude. In the shade until 33, the barometer in Seryogin's heaped clock writes a saw.

The rocks of the Triangular Lake were discovered and developed in the new millennium, and are known to all Russian climbers. Many have visited here, and projects are rarely even tried. “Where are my seventeen years” - I want to grab, step on and climb, climb, climb.

Rocks of Triangular Lake

Rocks of Triangular Lake

A complex project is a super task that requires maximum concentration, maximum impact, and the ability to play. And time, time, time.
In Crimea, in the same Simeiz, when you climb like a new route for yourself, the feeling that once in your past life you have been here many times. “You won't go far in a carriage of the past,” in Crimea I could not manage to jump out of that “carriage”.

The Triangular Rocks were previously unknown and today do not evoke nostalgic associations. They are not ordinary, but they do not require secret knowledge - the relief is readable, the leg is standing, the hand is holding.

Shaferov tried Catharsis exactly a year ago, since then, apparently, the clues have rested - there are a number of signs by which the Indian unmistakably recognizes how long ago a white man passed here, a red man sneaked in, ran a buffalo - there was no one here for a year. "My light, mirror, tell me, and report the whole truth ...?" - "Triangular Mirror" is silent, probably waiting for someone to climb through Catharsis.
Sergei approached the route three times a day, breaks between assaults for an hour and a half or two. The next day is rest. So we acted - Sergei climbed higher and higher. He fell - I caught. Then I climbed the available six. To each his own.

Ablution in the lake, evening at the gas burner - laziness fiddles with a fire. It's hot, even in the darkest time of the white night - we have dinner in underpants. In the morning we go to look at other massifs - Reka (there are several massifs there) and Miner. I try the tracks, Sergei is resting. The group will come soon and we will not have time for photographs and projects.
In the evening we barely wander to the camp. Blueberries, strawberries - no strength to bend down. I remember: "Stirlitz walked through the woods and ran into a branch: If you went home, girls, it's still a war."

For beginners, there are only three tracks on Triangle - "Cheerful Cow" and the neighboring ones. Local fives "Tse" with six keys require a certain climbing qualification.

Ira, the first steps. "Ryabinka" 5c

On the River and Gornyak, there are no very simple tracks at all. Here you will not find the “classic staircase” characteristic of limestones - even on the simplest routes, you need to step by step clearly put your foot and get on balance. Delight, for a true connoisseur of "oldschool" - reels, minuscule on a positive relief - which is very unusual after plywood. Even shoes wear out differently.

In Triangular Lake, as in a mirror, the current state of Russian rock climbing is reflected, especially in early autumn, when the false light of the white nights disappears and the stars appear in the blackening sky.

Dialogue by the lake, an unfamiliar young guy asks:
- Are you climbers, or did you come here?
- Climbers, are you rock climbers or boulders?
“Both, but not really. Don't count on us.

In the morning, after a light warm-up, Sergey took up Catharsis, and in the evening he left for the group. At night, according to the plan, Pasha Petrov appeared (according to the plan) with his family. I climb, climb, climb - five days in a row. "Bald broke to the comb." For some reason, compared to Turkey or Crimea, legs get tired more on routes of similar categories.

The next day, Sergei brought the group and Alexei Tselishchev - the greatest "guamist" of our time. Triangular is in many ways his work. I met Lyokha in 2008 in Guamka, and have not seen each other since.

Alexey Tselishchev on the "Iron Maiden"

Whose guys hang on the Iron Maiden?
The beautiful line is a hard overhang, turning into the 8a - 7c + file.
Iron Maiden is a medieval weapon of death and torture.
- Mine, Alexei answers, do you know how a school bus driver speaks in front of children when he is dissatisfied with something?
- I can't imagine.
- "Brother Pike" and "Chewed Mole".

Monday. Drops of Chukhonsky rain knock on the awning, through the wet bottom of the tent we feel the water anxiously. There is no stable mobile connection on Triangle, only corners - Moles, Shchuks, Jetboils. Megaphone always strives to hook Finnish roaming. By morning the rain dried up, I dug a groove, and our puddle ran down it in a brisk stream.

Rocks, rocks, rocks day after day, different all the time. After rain, they dry very quickly, only cracks and moss remain damp and slippery for a while.

Highest point in Catharsis. V.M. Shaferov

I remember the phrase of the great climber Viktor Markelov: "Not everything is plywood for you, learn to climb on a wet rock!"

On Saturday, a lot of people gathered at the Gornyak - they stuck around. They communicate, advise: "there is nothing there, take g ... but in the fold" - you need to remember and apply.

One evening, I took my camera and climbed to the top of the cliffs behind the scenery.
In the north, the night is short, they tried to get out twice a day - gradually everyone was full to overflowing. I can hardly walk - my legs are tired - "oldschool".

On Sunday morning we saw off the group - I’m at the camera, Sergei climbs on Catharsis. Already under the very top, having clicked the last guy-line, darted sharply to the right, grabbed the key hold in touch, but did not hold it. This was repeated twice. Hot, humid - "hands are floating", the very little thing behind which the record begins is lacking.

Once again, breaking down, Sergei yelled at the top of his lungs - it's a shame, again a little - almost enough. This message spread "to all the Corners." But, for that he and Catharsis, that would be good to shout: “the process and the result of a cleansing, facilitating and ennobling effect on a person of various factors that cause the corresponding experiences and effects. Catharsis is often accompanied by violent emotions - screams, anger, sobs. "

Lyokha once again, silently conquered his beloved "Iron Maiden".

09.07.13. Legs do not walk, hands do not hold. Ahead is the road home, and I already want to return, waking up early in the morning, swimming in the lake and walking along the forest path to an unfamiliar massif. Put your hands on slightly damp, rough granite and step by step climb the unfamiliar stone path.
