I remember Belek as a luxury resort with amazing hotels, the entrance to which is strictly guarded. Thus, you find yourself in a real artificial paradise-oasis, where no one can disturb you.
The complex of these hotels usually includes its own water park, a dozen restaurants and bars, and many playgrounds. Some hotels have golf courses, and all large ones have their own beaches, because they are located right on the first coastline. In these complexes, as a rule, there are two or three wings or separate buildings, and they are quite self-sufficient: you can spend a week on the territory, and every day in terms of leisure will not be like another.
Belek can be described as a very sophisticated resort, but not at all sightseeing. There are several interesting places worth visiting for tourists, but the main show takes place on the territory of the hotels themselves.
You know, everything is expensive in Belek: housing, restaurants, small purchases, souvenirs - absolutely everything, since it is designed specifically for tourists who are prosperous in every sense. How much experience and comfort you get in this place depends proportionally on the cost of the hotel room. Personally, I would advise going to Belek only to those who can afford to rent a double room for at least 250 USD per night.
I remember Belek as just an ideal resort, but primarily due to the fact that I stayed in a 5-star hotel and spent a fortune on it. For the same money, you can relax for two full months, renting apartments in Alanya, Antalya or Marmaris, eating at home and in the usual fast food, but in general, this experience can be called a perfect vacation for one hundred percent.
How to get there
The most popular way to get to Kemer is to fly by plane Moscow - Antalya, and then continue on your way by regular bus. But there are a couple more options, at different times of the year they can cost differently, just choose the cheaper one.
So, all ways:
- by plane - Antalya, then by bus;
- by plane - - Antalya, then by bus;
- by bus or car (expensive and difficult, but possible).
By plane
Antalya Airport is located 45 kilometers from Belek. Regular and charter flights fly here from Russia. Also, this airport is connected by daily flights from Istanbul and Ankara. So, there are several ways to fly here with regular flights:
- from Moscow, a direct flight will last 3 hours, cost from 11,500 RUB (200 USD) in both directions, Turkish Airlines and Aeroflot;
- from Moscow and St. Petersburg with a change at, cost from 8,000 RUB (160 USD) in both directions (!), Azerbaijan Airlines.
- with a transfer in Istanbul, about 4–5 hours, cost from 23,000 RUB (400 USD) in both directions, Turkish Airlines.
In summer, direct charter flights run, tickets for which can be cheaper, but they need to be booked on time:
- from Moscow - charter - Antalya, round-trip tickets from 4,500 RUB (80 USD), check which charter companies serve flights to Antalya in 2017 after a break;
- from St. Petersburg - charter - Antalya, from 7,000 RUB in both directions (120 USD), which charter companies serve flights to Antalya in 2017 after a break, it is better to clarify.
Look for the most profitable and convenient option using any offer aggregator or on.
How to get from Antalya Airport to Belek
If you arrived in Antalya by plane, then you need to find bus number 600, which is right at the exit of your terminal. It goes to the city center to the Antalya bus station Antalya Havalimani. Directly there you can transfer to the bus to Belek. A bus ticket from the airport to Antalya costs 1.4 USD (5 TRY), from Antalya to Belek - 3 USD (10 TRY). The fare, of course, is in lira, you can change the currency at the airport, the exchange rate there is quite acceptable. Payment is made directly on the bus.
You can also rent a car at the airport, which can be very convenient for those who like to be in control of their vacation trips. True, the price can be too high: good cars cost from 100–150 USD per day (specific offers and prices can be viewed). There is an option to take a taxi, the cost is from 50 USD.
How to get from Belek bus station to the hotel
In Belek, you arrive at the main bus stop (not the bus station) in the center. Below on the map I marked this bus stop:
Minibuses run from here in various directions (1 USD), taxis (5–10 USD) around the city and to distant areas.
By train
In this part of Turkey there is no railway connection in principle.
By bus
From Russia there is no way to easily get to Kemer by bus. There is only a long way with transfers in Moldova, Bulgaria and Istanbul or in Georgia and Ankara. In general, such a journey will take several days and will even be three to four times more expensive than air travel.
By car
From Moscow
Belek can be reached by car from Moscow:
- through Europe (Ukraine - - -),
- through Georgia (- Trabzon - Belek),
- without transit countries - through and further by ferry to Trabzon (from this city to Belek about 14 hours drive).
The easiest way is to drive south along the highway to Rostov, then to, there take the aforementioned ferry (journey time - 42–50 hours, 3,200 kilometers).
From St. Petersburg
From St. Petersburg to Belek by car, it is better to get through the countries of Europe, along the way seeing local attractions. The length of such a route is about 4,100 kilometers; you will spend 45–50 hours on the road.
In this case, you need an open Schengen visa, as well as a visa to Serbia if you are not a citizen of the Russian Federation (visa-free regime for Russians staying in the country for less than 30 days).

When is the season. When is the best time to go
There are a lot of all-inclusive hotels here, which open the season in early April and end at the end of October. From July 1 to August 25, the weather is very, very hot. In addition, the best service and completeness of service in all inclusive restaurants during this period. Queues are possible in some places, but they can be easily avoided by choosing a hotel of a higher class.
Of course, I recommend going at the height of summer, then it will be a real hot Turkish vacation. However, the air temperature can rise to +40 ° C, which not everyone can easily endure. If you are one of those people, I would advise you June (not too hot month with cool water) and September as the beginning of the velvet season.
Belek in summer
Belek in the summer is a real hot stove! The average air temperature is 33 °С, water - 25–29 °С. On many days of July and August, as I already said, it can be +40 ° C outside. The hottest time of the day is approximately from 13:00 to 16:00, when it is not recommended to leave shady corners even for 5-10 minutes, especially without a hat.
I would advise all lovers of heat to go to Belek in July or August. This is the traditional holiday season in Turkey. The "dangerous" hours can be waited out on the territory of the hotel: there are enough places for relaxing in the shade and interesting entertainment.
Belek in autumn
Throughout September and also October, you can enjoy not only beautiful weather in Belek, but also a fairly high temperature of the water in the sea, quite suitable for swimming. If the pool of the complex is in the sun, then in October you can swim in it, regardless of the presence of heating.
In addition, in the fall, all-inclusive hotels have decent discounts that can help you save up to 1,000 USD on the same package for four family members. Therefore, if you do not like too hot weather, the best time to visit Belek is the first two weeks of September or even September - October (daytime temperature - + 26–30 ° С, water - +26 ° С).
Belek in spring
Belek in the spring is not very suitable for a beach holiday, only from May 15 you can hope for slightly cool water, suitable for swimming with children. If you are going to Belek in April - May, be sure to make sure that your hotel pool has water heating.
To sunbathe, of course, you can go in the second half of March, April and May, but for a perfect vacation with swimming, it is better to choose the summer months. If you want to save on the cost of a hotel room, book it for September or October, not for May.
Most likely, heat-loving tourists will not want to swim here in May and even in early June. However, the air temperature is ideal for sunbathing and summer holidays.
Belek in winter
Belek in winter is completely unsuitable for tourists who love a beach holiday, as most hotels are simply closed and the streets are deserted. The average temperature during the day is + 14 °С, at night - +8 °С, the water temperature is only +17 °С.
If you are looking for where to go to relax in the winter, it is better to choose or, always wonderful! In the cold season, only golfers will be interested in Belek, as there are several famous golf centers in the city, where championships and competitions are held in winter, and open hotels are open all year round.
If you want to celebrate the New Year in your beloved Turkey in Belek, you should know that some hotels are open all year round with a decent level of service. Choose the one that has a heated indoor pool, hamam and New Year's Eve party, then you will get an excellent vacation!

Districts. Where is the best place to live
This resort town has four major areas:
- Coastline, entirely occupied by hotels. It is better to stay here for those who want luxury and chic during the holidays. You need to be prepared to pay 180-650 USD per day for a double room with full board.
- Centre, which we used to consider an independent resort. It is best to settle here for those who want to save money on a typical 7-day vacation on rent and cook for themselves in the apartment. Average housing prices are as follows: 40-60 USD per day for a small apartment and 20-80 USD for a double room in a relatively small hotel.
- Kadriye- a small area near the central, built up mainly with villas. It is suitable for those who want to stay in Belek for the whole summer. The rent and availability of a pool here can be very tempting! On average, a villa will cost 70–150 USD per day;
- Serik which is a real city, not a resort. It has a northern part near the highway and a southern part near the sea. In the area near the coast, housing will cost about 200 USD for a double room in a large hotel and about 200–300 USD per month for an apartment in the center of Serik.
All areas, except for the Coastline, are at some distance from the sea. The line itself is completely occupied by expensive 4 * and 5 * hotels, which are club and very large, many of them, as I said at the beginning, have golf courses, their own water parks, dozens of restaurants, etc.
The coastline runs along the entire length of the resort, the quality of living on it depends on the "star" of the hotel, its level and service, and not on a specific location. All beaches are about the same, but those located near expensive hotels have more amenities for adults and children.
When you decide which area you need, look at the current offers and prices on one of the aggregator sites, you can. It is better to book your favorite option on. Lots of ads with villas and apartments. By the way, it is possible that there will be some profitable package tours for the duration of your trip, look.
Main attractions. What to see
Since Belek is a resort focused on 5-star hotels and golf courses, all the main attractions are outside of it. There are three historical zones in the vicinity of the city. The ancient cities, Aspendos and Perge are a must for anyone who loves antiquity, architecture and is interested in the past of different cultures.

Top 5
The ancient city of Side (Side Antik Kenti) and the ruins of the temple of Apollo, 47 kilometers from Belek
The ruins of the temple of Apollo are located on the waterfront, in the most ancient city you will find a theatron (a huge ancient theater), an orchestral theater, various arches, monuments, there are partially preserved streets, columns and the remains of a city defensive wall.
All buildings were built about 2 thousand years ago. I would highly advise you to visit this attraction, since from my own experience I can say that this is the second most atmospheric ruin in Turkey after Ephesus.
How to get there
It is best to take an excursion to the Ancient City of Side at your hotel or tour desk in the center of Belek. The cost is about 35 USD.
You can get there by bus with a transfer in Serik, the transfer cost is about 4 USD (12 TRY) one way. You need to get off in Belek at the bus station, then go 2 minutes towards the Amphitheater or the Temple of Apollo following the signs (left from the bus station, the city will be on the right).

The ancient city of Aspendos, 18 kilometers from Belek
Another historical attraction that attracts all Belek tourists.
There is also an ancient theatre, built in 155 AD.
How to get there
I advise you to take an excursion to Aspendos from your hotel or bureau, it usually costs 15-20 USD. It is not possible to get to this attraction by bus.

Koprulu Canyon, 20 kilometers from Belek
The Koprulu National Park, like the canyon itself, is free to visit.
True, after walking along the standard route around the canyon, you will probably want to buy a ticket for rafting - rafting on a mountain river.
How to get there
You can order a transfer with rafting directly at the hotel, the price is about 20-30 USD, depending on the duration.
Driving route to the canyon:
On your own, you need to drive along the D-400 highway, then turn left before the river to the end. Important: if you go on your own and want to see the canyon itself, you need to go further than the site with tourist buses (which brought people to rafting) another 5-7 kilometers through the village of Beshkonak. You can see the canyon here with Turkish guides on an inflatable boat.

You can visit the Canyon from 9:00 to 20:00. The cost of rafting is 25 USD for adults and 15 USD for children.
The ancient city of Perge (Perge), 29 kilometers from Belek
A historical landmark full of real valuable minerals.
An ancient city with a well-preserved stadium, an amphitheater, Roman baths, boulevards, where excavations are still being carried out in search of new treasures.
How to get there
You can get here on your own by bus to the neighboring village of Aksu (Belek - Antalya route), and then after 20 minutes on the right road to the north towards the mountains, following the signs.

Kursunlu Waterfalls, 35 kilometers
A unique opportunity to experience real wild nature near the main tourist resorts (Antalya, Belek) of Turkey and visit the national park.
How to get there
You can get to the Kursunlu National Park along the highway to Antalya, turning right in front of the airport onto the D-685 highway.
It is best to come here by your own car, by taxi or with a tour. True, excursions are not arranged from Belek, from here everyone, as a rule, goes by taxi. The cost of a taxi one way is about 30 USD (50 USD both ways).
It turns out that a visit to the park will cost a family of four 55 USD (together with an entrance ticket). You can stay in the park any amount of time, up to closing the entire territory is available. You will be given a map-scheme, you can choose a route based on how much time you want to spend on a visit. It will take 3-4 hours to see the best places, the minimum route with a waterfall is 2 hours.

Beaches. Which is better
general information
The coastline of Belek is more than 14 kilometers long - an endless string of beaches, each has sun loungers, but only guests of hotels on the first line can use them for free. For everyone else, a rental will cost 3–6 USD per day in a good hotel and 10 USD per day in an expensive one. Tropical tents from 60-90 USD per day for the whole company, including lunch and drinks for everyone.
However, all the beaches are so huge, wide and long that there is always a place for everyone here. For tourists who stay in the center of the resort and do not want to pay for a sun lounger, there are free zones on and between some hotel beaches.
Wild beaches are located to the left of the coastline of Belek, near the river. Water activities are usually available every kilometer. There are no cafes and restaurants, only those located in hotels (expensive, rarely available to non-guests). Lifeguards are at every major hotel, that is, everywhere.
All Belek beaches are sandy, some have pontoons and piers from certain hotels. You will enjoy a smooth and gentle descent into the water, convenient for children and adults.
From hotels in the center of Belek to the beaches, about 15 minutes walk (1-2 kilometers) along a flat road along picturesque luxury golf courses, and expensive 4 * and 5 * hotels, as I said, are located right by the sea. The coastline itself is about 50 meters wide, somewhere its width can reach up to 150 meters.
If you see ads for renting villas on the beach, then keep in mind that most likely they are located 1-3 kilometers west of the center of Belek in a separate suburb between the center of Belek and the center of the Kadriye district.
The beaches have no identification or names. Sometimes they are identified by the name of the hotel in front of which they are located.
The best beaches in Belek
Now I will tell you about two of my favorite beaches in Belek, among others, I marked them on the map:
Churches and temples. Which are worth a visit
Cami (Cami)
The main mosque of Belek is located in the city center, next to the square and the fountain.
It is valid, and you can enter it without paying, however, you need clothes that will cover your shoulders, head for women, no slates and shorts, only long skirts to the floor.
Museums. Which are worth a visit
Archaeological museum of Antalya
In Belek itself, you will not find a single museum, except for the museum exhibition halls in the ancient ruin cities, so I would advise you to visit the main museum of Antalya.
How to get there
The Archaeological Museum is located on Konyaaltı Cad. Below it is marked on the map along with the bus station in Antalya.
From the bus station you need to take bus number 45 to the center, then along the Konyaalti Cd. walk along the sea to the west, away from the Old City.
Cost and opening hours
The entrance ticket will cost 8 USD. The museum is open from 9:00 to 19:00.

There are two tourist walking areas in Belek: in the center and in Kadriye. I marked them on the map below.
Each of them has many boutiques of clothes, shoes and accessories, shops, souvenir shops, as well as cafes and restaurants.
What to see in 1 day
Belek is a fairly popular resort with many interesting places. It is very difficult to choose just one, especially when you consider that exploring and visiting many of them (ancient cities, water parks, golf) take the whole day.
Here's a compromise route for you:
- 09:00 - to choose from: rest on the golf course, in the water park "Troy" or Land of Legends (200-300 USD) for four or five);
- 17:00 - visiting any of the central beaches of Belek at sunset after the closing of the water park;
- 20:00 - seafood dinner at the chic Deniz Restaurant (100 USD) for four to five people).
What to see in the surroundings
Belek is located on the Anatolian coast in Turkey, and therefore all the cities around it are also touristy, full of hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions.
The modern city of Side (45 kilometers)
A small resort east of Belek, together they share several historical sights, ruins that can be accessed from both cities.
In Side itself, apart from the ancient city of Sise, which I have already mentioned above in the “Top 5” section, there are no special attractions. However, there is a tourist bazaar, an interesting public beach outside the city with waves, and in the Manavgat area there is a river with a waterfall and an observation deck overlooking a very beautiful city.

Antalya (44 kilometers)
A huge city with a large Archaeological Museum, many shopping centers, shops and boutiques, an aquarium and a zoo.
Here is a great Old Town with beautiful houses, parks, an old atmosphere and interesting tourist shops with souvenirs, fashionable clothes and accessories.
Kemer (90 kilometers)
It makes sense to go here if you really like water parks and want to try another one in Kemer.
In general, the town is very small, and there is no need to go there specially from Belek.
Alanya (100 kilometers)
A small town, nevertheless, worthy of your visit. It will be of interest to those who may like a modern archaeological museum, an old castle with a tower, a walk through another beautiful Turkish city with many stunning beaches. Below you will see a map of attractions and beaches of the resort.

Excursion to Pamukkale and Ephesus (more than 1,000 kilometers in both directions)
Such a two-day trip costs 100 USD. The trip will take a long time, but will show you two of Turkey's most popular attractions.
To go there long enough, I would not advise them to visit if your vacation is less than 14 days. It is much more convenient to go there from Marmaris, or Bodrum (it will not be 1,000 kilometers one way, but half less), or from (and even 200 kilometers). Nevertheless, these excursions are quite popular and are held constantly from Belek and Side.
Food. What to try
Belek is first and foremost authentic Turkish cuisine, seafood and a bit of European charm from 4- and 5-star hotels with French and Mediterranean restaurants.
I would advise you to choose only the best and most expensive establishments here, try octopus, salmon, shrimp, crabs, if your budget allows. Or limit yourself to inexpensive canteens with Turkish cuisine, doners (Turkish shawarma), lahmajuns (Turkish pizza) and grilled chicken, if your budget is modest enough.

Budget
Simply Caddie Beach Restaurant- an inexpensive restaurant with delicious dishes and excellent service. It's all in one: seafood, Mediterranean, local Turkish cuisine, steaks and a separate vegetarian menu.
The cost of dinner for one of two courses is about 20–25 USD (60–70 TRY). Open from 9:00 to 23:00. Address: Uckum Tepesi Mevkii | Kadriye Beach.
Intermediate level
- Spice Garden Indian Restaurant- a chic restaurant with a variety of Indian, Asian and Baltic cuisine. The cost of dishes is from 15 USD (35 TRY). Open from 11:00 to 1:00. Address: Atif Zengin Caddesi.
- Ocean's Fish Greek- a wonderful seafood restaurant at the Maxx Royal hotel. Open from 12:00 to 00:00. The cost of dishes is quite high, the average bill for dinner for one is more than 30 USD (100 TRY). Address: İskele Mevki Turizm Cad.
Expensive
- L'amante Restaurant- a stunning French restaurant at the Rixos Premium Belek. Truly European gallantry and an extensive menu. The cost of dishes is high, from 20 USD (60 TRY) for the main. The restaurant is open by appointment only from 12:00 to 00:00. Full address: İleribaşı Mevkii P.k. 116, but it is better to search simply by the name of the hotel.
- Le Jardin- Another excellent French restaurant at the Gloria Serenity Resort. The average check for one is about 30 USD (100 TRY). Open by appointment, open from 18:00 to 23:00. Full address: Belek Mahallesi, Acisu Mevkii; but, again, it is better to search by the name of the hotel.
- Deniz Restaurant- it's a great varied menu, lots of local fresh seafood and a city center location. The average check for two is about 60 USD (180 TRY), a seafood dish will cost 20–35 USD (60–100 TRY). Opening hours from 9:00 to 23:00. Address: Akdeniz Mah. Atif Zengin Cad.
Holidays
In winter and summer, Belek hosts a huge number of competitions, tournaments and sporting events. And at the peak of the tourist season, numerous competitions, beach volleyball competitions and other summer games are held.
But the most amazing show in this region can be found in the ancient city of Aspend, which hosts the International Opera and Ballet Festival, which attracts about 20 thousand people from all over the world. In different years it was held in June, July and September. If you want to attend this year, please check the dates in advance.
In addition, Belek as a resort is aimed at Russian tourists, so many hotels host concerts of Russian pop stars.
Safety. What to watch out for
Belek, compared to other cities in Turkey, such as or, is a very expensive resort. Here you will find it difficult to find both a cheap restaurant and a cheap hotel. In addition, the upper bar for any purchase is also high in principle, because most of the tourists here are visitors to 4- and 5-star hotels who have paid more than 1,000 USD for their weekly vacation.
High prices are the only thing to be wary of in a small and hospitable Belek, immersed in the greenery of mountains and golf courses, with endless beaches and excellent housing.
Things to do
In Belek, the best entertainment takes place on the basis of the most expensive 5-star hotels. Here you will find an evening show, and children's animation, and performances of music and dance groups. Shopping in Belek is far from being as good as in the neighboring large city, so it makes sense to go there for clothes, shoes, and accessories.
On the territory of large hotels, real autonomous life is seething: it has its own water parks, several parks and swimming pools, a beach, boutiques and shops, up to 15 restaurants and bars per hotel. From the hotels you can easily go on an excursion to the ancient cities with a Russian-speaking guide.

There is only one shopping center in Belek - YKM Sport, and it has a fairly simple assortment: just a few clothing, perfume and accessories stores. Shopping center address: Beylikler Cd, 07500 Kadriye. Open from 10:00 to 23:00.
Bars. Where to go
The best and most expensive bars, of course, are in 5-star hotels, but there are a couple of interesting places in the center
- Gardner's Bar- a cheap British pub on 22nd street (Akdeniz Mah) in the center of Belek. There is also a kitchen with the most popular English dishes. A warm welcome awaits you from hostess Kim and her daughter Lacey. Open from 11:00 to 2:00. The cost of food and drinks will pleasantly surprise you, the average bill for dinner is about 20 USD (60 TRY).
- Players Lounge- a great bar with European snacks. The cost of drinks - from 3 USD (10 TRY). Open from 11:00 to 1:00. Located at: Belek Mah. 45. Sokak, No. 10A/A.
Clubs and nightlife
In most large hotels, evening parties, discos, various performances are held until 1-2 am. Check the schedule for each specific hotel. Many hotels also have real nightclubs, like in Titanic Belek (pictured below).
Since there are few hotels without animation and night shows in this region, there is only one nightclub in Belek - sos disco, which cannot be called real, since it is mainly used by locals. I would not recommend you visit it.

There are several options for sports recreation in Belek, all of them are available in the format of excursions from hotels:
- Jeep safari held from morning to evening, usually includes breakfast and lunch, costs from 20 USD per person.
- Rafting and canoeing is held from morning to evening in the area of the Köprülu canyon. You can organize a rafting tour from the hotel, you can come to the place and agree personally. Cost - from 25 USD per person. For those who want less drive and more relaxation, there is the option of canoeing down the river! It will cost from 20 USD per person.
- Mountaineering(in the national park "Köprülü") - the opportunity to climb the rock in the national park, it is hard to miss for those for whom it was a childhood dream! Bookings can be made at the tour desk at your hotel. Cost - from 30 USD.
- Water sports- in many animation programs of Belek hotels there are parasailing, water skiing, banana, windsurfing, catamaran, speed boats, water bikes, super-marble, franting, sailing. Cost - from 10 USD.
