How to get from the center of Prague to the airport. How to get from Prague airport. Airport Express routes

Many tourists and guests of the Czech Republic are worried about the question: "How to get from the airport to the center of Prague?", Therefore in this article I will tell you how to get to the airport and from the airport to the center of Prague yourself cheaper and more comfortably.

Before you go to Prague on your own, I advise you to follow these recommendations:

 • After booking a hotel, look at Google Maps where your hotel is located, if you haven't booked a hotel, book hotels in Prague at the best prices on Hotellook (in the database of 5000 hotels and apartments in Prague!);
 • On the Prague public transport website, get directions from the airport (Letiště) to your hotel;
 • Write down the address of your hotel on a piece of paper and, if possible, upload a map of Prague to your phone.

How and where to buy a bus ticket at Prague airport

All flights from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries arrive at the Prague airport. Vaclav Havel (formerly Ruzyne) in Terminal 1, so in this article I will tell you how to understand this terminal.

First, go to the ATM and withdraw the required amount of money, the ATM will give you money in Czech crowns. It is much more profitable to withdraw money from a card in kroons than to use exchange offices at the airport. And I hope that all independent travelers have Visa or MasterCard.

After that, go to the counter with the icon "I Public Transport"... And there you buy the required number of tickets for 90 minutes for 32 CZK and tickets for suitcases for 16 CZK (with a 90-minute ticket you can make any number of changes to buses, trams, metro all the time, just do not forget to validate it on the bus), a ticket for 30 minutes is not enough to get to the center Prague. Read more about the cost of tickets in the article. If you are traveling on the Airport Express bus, you do not need to buy a ticket for it, but pay for the fare at the driver's entrance.

You can also buy tickets in the arrivals area of the airport at the new ticket vending machines, which accept not only small change like old machines, but also any credit and debit cards.

After you already have the ticket, leave the airport and almost immediately find yourself at the bus stop. At the bus stop, find where the route numbers are written and select the stop where the bus you want stops.

From Prague airport to city

If you are interested in how much time you spend on the way to get to the center, then you will spend 30-40 minutes on the trip itself, plus 20-30 minutes for buying tickets and finding a bus stop.

There are 4 day routes and 1 night route from Prague airport to the city. Day buses run approximately from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm... Night bus # 510 from 0.34 to 4.34.

 • Bus number 100 travels to the final station Zličín (yellow line, line B), journey time 14 minutes. I like this bus the most because I live on the yellow line, and this bus is the fastest way to get to the metro station and does not zip around the city like bus # 179 and # 119.
 • Bus number 179 going to the station Nové Butovice (yellow line, line B), journey time 35 minutes. The most inconvenient bus, because by the time you get to the station on the yellow line, there are a lot of stops.
 • Bus number 119 going from the station Nádraží Veleslavín (green line, line A), travel time 16 minutes. From April 6, 2015, bus number 119 began to travel to the station Nádraží Veleslavín,he used to go to Dejvice station. At this station, you can already change to the green line of the metro or tram.
 • AE Airport Express bus... This express operates daily and travels to the main station (Praha hlavní nádraží). The express time is from 6:35 to 22:05 in the direction of Prague airport, in the opposite direction from 5:45 to 21:15. The bus runs every 30 minutes. Travel time is 33 minutes. On this bus, public transport tickets are not valid, and tickets must be purchased from the bus driver and cost 60 CZK or at the ticket office at the station (the ticket is cheaper at the ticket office).
 • Night bus No. 510 runs from 0.34 to 4.34 and passes a lot of stops in the city. Therefore, your travel time depends on many factors. For example, if you go from the Karlovo náměstí stop (yellow metro line B), the journey takes 40 minutes.

On the map you can see how Terminals 1 and 2 are located at Vaclav Havel Airport and where buses stop.

And this is the new Prague public transport map showing all buses that go to Prague airport and where they dock with metro stations. This organization of the movement began to operate on April 6, 2015. The diagram shows all metro stations and lines, as well as tram lines.

Taxi in Prague from the airport

If you need to comfortably get to the hotel or to the desired place in Prague, it is better to take a taxi. Just keep in mind that if you go to Prague by taxi, which are at the arrivals area, then you will pay for it 700-1000 CZK (€ 40)... It is expensive, so book a transfer from taxi services or special companies in advance. This way you can save 200-500 CZK and pay approximately 500 CZK for a taxi ride from Prague airport to the city center. With the availability of the Internet, ordering a transfer is very easy, just fill out a special form on the website indicating your name, arrival date, flight number and destination in Prague, and a person with a sign will be waiting for you at the right time in the arrival hall.

The cost of a transfer from Prague airport from different companies, I do not indicate in rubles, because the rate is now extremely unstable:

It is even easier to take a taxi not on the spot, but pre-order it on the Internet in a Russian company. A Russian-speaking driver will meet you with a sign and take you to your destination without any problems and for a pre-calculated cost. You will especially appreciate the convenience of travel during the rains, because it is much more comfortable to get to the hotel in Prague clean and without fatigue. In addition to Prague, you can order a transfer to any city and hotel in the Czech Republic: Karlovy Vary, Podebrady, Teplice, Marianske Lazne and other cities in the Czech Republic.

How to get to Prague airport

When going in the opposite direction (towards the airport), then you need to follow the instructions described above in the opposite direction and when exiting the metro, always pay attention to the signs that indicate where to go in order to find the bus to airport (Letiště)... And before you leave, buy your public transport tickets in advance.

Prague Airport - Karlovy Vary

A lot of people fly to Prague, and then go to, and not all of them have ordered a transfer. It does not matter, there are 18 direct comfortable yellow Studentagency buses running from the airport to Karlovy Vary every hour on a schedule from 7 am to 11 pm, the travel time from Prague to Karlovy Vary is 1 hour 45 minutes, the distance from Prague airport to Karlovy Vary is 118 km. The cost of the trip to the resort is only 160 CZK. I will show you on the map where buses to Karlovy Vary stop at Prague airport. It is best to buy bus tickets in advance on the website

We tell how to get from Prague airport to the city centerhow much it costs and how long it will take.

 • prices: from 24 CZK (57 rubles)

Payment for transport is made in the Czech Republic and is made in local currency - Czech crowns. Money for travel can be exchanged at the airport, or cash can be withdrawn from a credit card at ATMs there (this will be more profitable, since the rate at exchange offices of the airport is high).

 • 1 Czech crown - 0.04 euro ~ 2.38 rubles
 • 1 ruble - 0.42 CZK.

City bus

This is the easiest and most economical way to get from Prague airport to the center. Buses run around the clock, stops are located 20-30 meters from the exit from the terminal - you just need to cross the road.

Bus ticket price:

 • for 30 minutes - 24 CZK (child ticket - 12 CZK)
 • 90 minutes - 32 CZK (children - 16 CZK).

During the day, buses reach the final stop in 20-25 minutes, so it is enough to purchase a 30-minute ticket.

If you are traveling from Prague airport to the city at night or plan to change to another transport, then it is better to buy a 90-minute ticket - for transfers, it is valid for 1.5 hours from the moment it was composted when you first board the bus.

Bus №100 travels to Zlicin metro station. From there, you can walk to the city center in 20 minutes, or change to the yellow line of the metro line B. Buses run from 05:45 to 23:35 at intervals of 7-15 minutes.

By bus №119 you can get to the Nadrazi Veleslavin metro station (green line, line A). The interval of the buses is 5-15 minutes, the working hours are from 04:25 to 23:40.

Night bus №510 runs from 00:00 to 04:00 with an interval of about 30 minutes. Na Beranku Terminal Station is a 75-minute drive away. To get to the center of Prague, it is best to get off at the Divoka Sarka stop and change to tram 51.

Airport Express bus

A more convenient way to get from Prague airport to the city is the special Airport Express bus. Its stop is also located opposite the exit from the airport, only indicated by a sign "AE".

The final stop of the airport express is the main railway station in Prague (Praha hl. Nadrazi).

 • travel time is 30-40 minutes.
 • working hours - from 05:30 to 22:35
 • interval of movement - 30 minutes

The cost of an express ticket is 60 CZK (143 rubles), you can buy it from a special machine or from the driver. Children's ticket costs half the price.

Minibus CEDAZ

The end point of the route is Republic Square in the city center, which can be reached by a minibus in 30 minutes.

Minibuses leave from 07:30 to 19:00 every half hour. The ticket price is 150 kroons (353 rubles), children under 6 can travel for free.

You can order such a transfer by minibus from the representative of AAA Radiotaxi at the airport terminal. You can buy a ticket there or from the driver.

Taxi

There are AAA and RadioCab taxi ranks near the terminal exit. Their prices are about the same: from 40 CZK for a landing and 25-28 CZK for 1 kilometer of the way.

Thus, the cost of a taxi in Prague from the airport to the center will be approximately 600 CZK (from 1430 rubles).

Prague airport transfers

The cost of a transfer from the airport to any place in Prague is from 1800 rubles per car (to the train station - a little cheaper).

The driver will meet you with a sign at the airport, help you with your belongings, and the price of the trip is guaranteed not to change (if you wish, you can pay the entire amount before departure to the Czech Republic, or pay on the spot).

Transfer from Prague airport is worth ordering if you are traveling with a company or with children, as well as when you have a lot of luggage and it is important to get to the hotel as soon as possible.

If you wish, you can book a transfer to other cities of Prague - for example,

How to get to the center of Prague from Ruzyne airport? This question inevitably arises before every tourist who is not met by the driver of a pre-ordered transfer with a sign in his hands. Usually, travelers who first find themselves at the airport of Vaclav Havel or, as it is also called, Ruzyne, in the first minutes are lost, not understanding where what is here, where to look for transport and follow the signs to the nearest exit, to the taxi rank.

Google Maps / google.ru

In fact, the airport only in the first minutes makes a deafening impression and causes some disorientation. If you do not rush to the exit at the sign showing a car with checkers, but stand and look around, then finding stops with public transport will not be difficult. The distance to the city from the airport is less than 20 km, the airport and the central part are connected by transport routes. Therefore, in the absence of large and uncomfortable suitcases, it makes no sense to take a taxi, you can get there by public transport - express, minibus, similar to our route taxis, or an ordinary city bus.

About airport

Ruzyne Airport is international, it is really huge and at first it seems that you can easily get lost in it. The specificity of this terminal is that it is much easier to move around it after receiving luggage and passing other administrative procedures inside buildings that are interconnected. For this reason, you should not rush out into the street.

Andrew Milligan sumo / flickr.com

This terminal has 4 large terminals. International flights from Russia and the Commonwealth countries, as a rule, are served in Terminals "1" and "2". From them, it is easy to get to any convenient means of transport, you just need to use the interactive map of the airport or carefully study the navigation signs found everywhere.

AirportExpess is a bus that connects the airport with the main railway station - Hlavní Nádraží, located in the city center. The express takes passengers to the center of Prague in 45-50 minutes. There are two scheduled routes.

David Short / flickr.com

The first follows the shortest route to the train station, making four stops along the route:

 1. Airport, first terminal.
 2. Airport, second terminal.
 3. Náměstí Republiky, that is, on Republic Square, next to the metro station of the same name.
 4. Masarykovo nádraží, that is, in the square in front of the train station, next to the tram stop.

Going from the station square to the Ruzyně terminals, you can take the express train in less than 45 minutes. On the way to the airport, the bus does not stop until the first terminal.

Fare:

 • adults - 60 CZK;
 • children over 6 years old and up to 15 years old - 30 CZK;
 • children under 6 years old - free of charge, without occupying a separate seat.

The second express line takes travelers to the Dejvická metro. This is the last stop on line "A" - the green line of the city metro. You can go to Prague from Ruzyne on this express for the following amounts:

 1. 40 CZK - for adults.
 2. 20 CZK - for children from 6 to 15 years old.
 3. Free - for children under 6 years old, without occupying a separate seat.

The only drawback that express trains have is that they run only during the daytime. The first express trains pick up their passengers at 05:30, and the last ones leave for Prague at 21:00. Express departure intervals are every half hour.

City buses

Traveling with regular city buses is the best way to get from Ruzyne airport to Prague. You can leave by public transport both from the first terminal and from the second, there are stops near the exits from both.

Graham C99 / flickr.com

The city and the airport are connected both by day routes and by night bus. During the day, passengers are taken by buses:

 • "119", on the way to the metro Nádraží Veleslavín (line "A"), he spends 15 minutes, and picks up passengers at the airport every 5-15 minutes.
 • "100", to the metro station Zličín (line "B") you can get there in 20 minutes, the interval of movement - from 10 minutes to half an hour.
 • “191” is a convenient route that takes you to the Anděl department store and the metro station of the same name on the “B” line in 18-20 minutes, to the Petřiny metro station on the “A” line in 25-30 minutes, buses run every 20 minutes.

Each bus has an online scoreboard on which the names of stops are displayed, so you won't be able to drive past the one you want.

At night the bus "510" runs from Prague to the airport and back. The final stop of the route is Na Beránku street. The bus reaches it in 40 minutes, as it makes a large number of stops along the way. The disadvantage of this route is that it does not go through the central historic districts.

If you need to get to Old Prague, you should get off at the Divoká Šárka stop, where the park of the same name is located, one of the most beautiful in Prague, and take the night tram 51. The interval of movement of both buses and trams is 20-30 minutes.

As for tickets, they can be purchased at the terminals at stops or paid for the driver's fare. The difference in cost is not particularly significant.

About tickets

Single tickets for transport in Prague are not entirely convenient. The fact is that they have time limits. For example, a ticket for 90 minutes costs 32 kroons, you can ride on it for only an hour and a half, and the time is counted from the moment of composting. Accordingly, if the trip lasts not an hour and a half, but an hour and 35 minutes, the last 5 minutes a person is considered a "hare" and can be fined.

Dale Harvey / flickr.com

Fines in Prague are rather big - 1000 CZK. For a one-time trip from the airport to the city, an hourly ticket is enough, the one that is designed for 30 minutes is not enough, and the one with 90 minutes is a lot.

It is more expedient to immediately purchase travel passes for a day or three, or any other period of time. Indeed, in Prague, a traveler will use transport anyway.

Tickets are the same for all types of public transport in the capital, and their cost is as follows:

How to get there with luggage?

In Ruzin, as well as in many other large airports, there is a service for the delivery of baggage of the passenger and directly its owner to the city center. It is called ČEDAZ Airport - Centrum. You don't have to book a place in the delivery service minivans in advance, although, of course, if the tourist has a desire to do this, then this can be done on the airport portal.

Vans carrying tourists with a lot of belongings leave the airport every half hour. That is, almost as often as public transport. This delivery service is available daily from 05:30 to 21:30.

Kuruman / flickr.com

Minivans, in fact, are fixed-route taxis with luggage space. They go to the central part of the city through stops at metro stations:

 1. Dejvická, on the "A" line.
 2. Náměstí Republiky, on the B branch.

The fare for this type of transport is 90 CZK. The price includes one passenger seat and one baggage seat. When ordering this type of transfer for a group, prices will be lower:

 • 360 CZK - for 4 travelers;
 • 720 CZK - for a group of 8 tourists.

If you have large suitcases, such travel options to Prague are the most budgetary.

Taxi

Taxi ranks are located near the exits from the terminals of the air terminal. A taxi will take you to the historical center of the city in 20-30 minutes, depending on the situation on the road and the distance of the desired address.

The cost of a trip in a car taken “in fact” near the terminals is half the price of a trip in a car booked in advance. The price of a voyage in a car that has not been previously booked is 600-800 CZK, and travel in a previously booked hired car will cost 400-600 CZK.

You can order a car in advance either through the website or directly at the airport. To do this, you need to go to any of the counters that place taxi orders. The waiting time will be no more than 15 minutes, since the cars whose drivers accept the order are at the airport parking lots.

The Czech Republic is an ultra-highly developed country of the European Union, so the Czechs do not have such a problem of how to get to the capital Prague directly from the international airport. The main thing here is to determine the amount of time and money available for travel, and choose the option that best suits the circumstances.

A short excursion into Czech tour reality will help to deal with this in more detail.

The status of international in the Czech Republic has about 20 air terminals, however, it is the capital airport named after Václav Havel in the Prague suburb that is the largest and is an object of state importance. The largest number of foreigners and domestic passengers passes through it, so there are as many as 4 terminals in operation here:

 1. T1 - for air traffic with countries outside the Schengen area.
 2. T2 - serves flights within Schengen.
 3. T3 is the destination for the arrival and departure of private flights and charters.
 4. T4 - VIP-zone for individual, special occasions and official, state visits.

It is located in the suburban area of Ruzin, 17 km from the capital itself, which is about 20-25 minutes by car, 50-55 minutes by shuttle.

You can pay for tickets and everything else in the Czech Republic only in Czech crowns (CZK). As of the beginning of 2019, 100 CZK is equal to 4 euros.

How to get to the city and back?

The ways to get from the airport to the center of Prague are equally effective for the opposite direction, that is, for a trip from Prague to the airport. It:

 • urban municipal transport;
 • special buses Airport Express (AE);
 • commercial micro minibuses;
 • taxi.

Each direction has its own nuances.

Public transport

There is no direct metro or electric trains from Ruzyne to Prague center, but they are freely replaced by city bus routes. There are three day and one night buses.

Daytime flights have numbers:

 • 119 - travels from terminals 1 and 2 to the metro on line A, stop Nádraží Veleslavín (final), takes about 15 minutes;
 • 100 - travels from the same points to metro line B, stop Zličín, arrives in 20 minutes;
 • 191 - departs from the same terminals, stops on metro lines A, stop Petřiny, and B, stop Anděl, travel time about 40 minutes.

From these metro stops it is easy to get directly to the city center or to the desired address in another half hour.

Tickets are purchased from the driver, through vending machines at bus stops, at MHD city transport counters. The cost of one ticket for an adult is 32 CZK (for a driver - 40 CZK), for a child - half the price, children under 6 travel free of charge. Luggage should be paid separately - half the price of an adult ticket (16 CZK). The ticket is valid for 90 minutes, the number of transfers for this period within one route is not limited. When boarding, the ticket should be punched with a special punch at the entrance.

This method is convenient to use when you need to get to the metro or the city inexpensively, and the travel time does not really matter. Buses run round-trip from 7 am to midnight, so you can both get to Prague from the airport and get to the airport from the city.

Features of travel at night

If you need to get to Prague airport, or vice versa, at night, then daytime flights are not suitable, but route number 510 is suitable. Its schedule is from midnight to 5 am, departs from terminal T1. The route is to the Prague stop Na Beránku and back, the journey time is about an hour. The conditions for purchasing tickets are the same as for day buses.

Board with the timetable of the Prague night bus No. 510 right at the bus stop

Airport Express special flights

A good alternative to public transport is the Airport Express service, whose buses are marked with the letters AE on the front panel and depart from the same terminals (1,2). Flights depart every half hour from half past five in the morning to half past ten in the evening, delivering passengers directly to the city center to the main railway station in Prague in 30-40 minutes.

The fare for 2019 is 60 kroons. In general, it is convenient to find out the relevance of prices, flight schedule, as well as to order tickets on the website https://www.cd.cz/default.htm, as well as on the website http://jizdnirady.idnes.cz/praha/spoje / (versions available in Czech, English, German).

Sprinters and minibuses

If there is no constraint and you need to get from the airport to the center of Prague without fuss and with speed, the commercial taxi service can easily handle this. In particular, the firms CEDAZ and Prague Airport Transfers. Seat reservation is made in advance, the price of one seat one way is 140-150 CZK. Shuttles depart from Terminal 1.2 every half hour from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. The final stops are the center of the capital V Celnici and near the Mustek metro station.

Prague taxis

For special moments, a fast, upscale Prague taxi is available. Orders are available on specialized sites, as well as directly at the terminals where the operators Radiocab Taxi and AAA Radiotaxi are on duty. The service, accordingly, is not cheap, about 500-700 kroons from the airport to the address in the capital. You can also order a carrier in advance on the KiwiTaxi website.

Car rental

The main Prague Air Station serves many car rental companies:

 • RentPlus;
 • SIXT;
 • Hertz;
 • Europcar.

It is also possible to pre-rent a suitable car on the renowned Rentalcars website.

All these methods are designed for arrivals who need to get from the airport to Prague, but there are routes aimed at delivering passengers directly to resorts, for example, to Karlovy Vary, or to such cities in the Czech Republic as Jihlava, Brno. In the first case, it will require 80 CZK for a direct bus, in the second - from 170 to 220 CZK. Have a nice road!

Once in the capital of the Czech Republic for the first time, many tourists find it difficult to find their way and get to the central district of Prague on their own. Taxi services can be a significant expense, and traveling by public transport with suitcases and transfers is a lot of inconvenience. How to get to the city center with comfort and not overpay? Which transport is better to use? We will share all the possible options, their advantages and disadvantages. You just have to choose the most suitable way for your trip.

What is important to know about Prague airport

Airport them. Vaclav Havel is located in Prague 6, in the suburb of Ruzyne. It is equipped with 4 terminals and is 20 km away. from the main streets. You can get from here to the very heart of Prague in the following ways:

 • On public transport;

 • Taxi;

 • By Airport Express;

 • By minibuses Prague Airport Transfers;

 • Using the Cedaz shuttles;

 • Car rental;

If there is a need to exchange euros or dollars for Czech currency, it is better to do it at exchange offices. At the airport, they are open from 6:00 to 23:00. At night, you can withdraw money from an ATM that serves visitors around the clock.

Airport Buses

There are two stops at the Prague airport where public transport passes. One of them is located next to the First terminal, and the second you will find near terminal number 2, in front of the arrivals hall. Near the bus stops, you can buy tickets for transport in vending machines or offices that work from 7:00 to 22:00. Please note that you need coins for automatic terminals. Therefore, when exchanging currency for kroons, ask to give you a small part of the money in small change. If you only have banknotes, then you will have to purchase passes from the driver. However, in this case, their cost will be slightly more expensive.

To get to the central area, a 30-minute ticket is suitable for you, costing 24 CZK for adults and 12 CZK for children. If you plan to use buses in the future, then we recommend purchasing a ticket for 90 minutes. Its price is 32 CZK for adults and 16 CZK for children. This cost is relevant only for machines. Drivers have 6-8 kroons higher prices for passes.

Please note that no bus will take you to your destination. Public transport only reaches the metro station, from where you can get to the required quarter. Due to transfers, transportation by urban vehicles will take longer than by taxi. Be prepared that it will take at least an hour to move. This is the main disadvantage of this type of travel. The advantage will be significant cost savings.

In the daytime and in the evening, you can go to the central squares by buses No. 119, No. 100 and No. 191. The first one will take you to the Nádraží Veleslavín metro station in 15-17 minutes. You can board it until 11:45 pm. No. 100 runs less frequently and can take you to Zličín station in 15-20 minutes. You will be in time for it before 23:36. Bus # 191 runs to Petriny station and is considered the slowest.

The best bus is number 119, since its stop is 20 meters from the terminal, it runs more often and faster.

What is important to know about buses in Prague

As soon as you enter the bus salon, do not forget to punch the ticket. This can be done using yellow vending machines equipped on the railing.

At metro stations, such pass-through devices are placed at the entrance.

When carrying baggage, you need to buy an additional coupon at half price.

Timetables of city vehicles, routes, tariffs and other nuances are provided at specialized information desks, which are open from 7 am to 9 am on weekdays and from 8 am to 7 pm on weekends.

Coupons purchased for 1.5 hours or more will be valid for all types of public transport at any time of the day.

How to get by bus to the center at night

After 11 am by public transport, it will be more difficult to get to the historical part of the city, primarily due to the fact that the metro does not work at this time. In this case, you can use the only option. At Terminal 1, take bus # 510, which runs until 3:56 am, and get off at the Divoká Šárka stop. Then you need to take a ride on the night tram number 51, which will take you to your destination. In general, the time for a night trip will not take longer than during the day.

Taxi from airport to center

If you do not want to waste time waiting for vehicles and a change, then you should take a closer look at the taxi option. But keep in mind that in Prague it costs from 400 to 600 CZK. But you will get there with comfort in just 20-30 minutes.

For those who plan to get to the center by car, it is important to consider the following points:

 1. You can find out the official taxi from the airport by the white or yellow color of the cars and the badges on the roof.

 2. The car can accommodate a maximum of 4 people with 3 pieces of luggage.

 3. There shouldn't be any difficulties in communicating with taxi drivers, most of the drivers speak basic English well.

 4. You don't have to spend extra money on tips, in Prague this is not considered mandatory.

 5. Most taxi drivers accept credit card payments.

Official car parks are located next to each terminal. However, during the peak tourist season, there is not always free transport. And given that taxis in Prague provide services on a first come, first served basis, many tourists have to wait a long time. Therefore, you can order a car at the box office, where you will find the representative offices of Radiocab taxi and AAA Radiotaxi.

Approximate cost per 1 km. is 28 CZK, that is, you can get to the center for 550-600 CZK. Calling on holidays and at night will cost a little more.

Kiwi Taxi is considered the optimal way of transportation by car for Russian tourists. which can be ordered before arrival at the airport. Firstly, you will not need to change your currency immediately upon arrival. And secondly, you don't have to communicate with local taxi drivers. A worthy alternative to public transport are the specialized Airport Express buses. Tickets will cost 60 CZK, which is about twice as expensive as regular buses. You can buy a travel pass in the same way: at the box office, in vending machines or from the driver. Baggage is included in the fare. And for children under 6, coupons are provided free of charge. Please note that when buying a pass, you must specify the type of car you need. Different passes are issued for Airport Express and public transport.

You can get on the transport from Terminal 1. It stops at the bus stop with the letters AE. The express train runs along the metro line C and takes you to the main station as well as to the center. On the way, you will spend from half an hour to 50 minutes. It works on schedule: from 5:30 to 22:00, with an interval of half an hour.

The advantage of this type of movement is the ability to conveniently transport your luggage and get to your destination. In other respects, specialized vehicles differ little from public transport.

Prague Airport Transfers

This type of transportation is called a group transfer. It will cost an order of magnitude cheaper than a taxi, but 2 times more expensive than the "Airport Express". On average, the trip takes half an hour. From there, you will need to change to another transport. In the second case, you can order a minibus in advance and agree with the driver to take you anywhere in the city.
