All three waterfalls, although they are located close to each other in a small area, differ in their appearance and the complexity of the path to each of them.

First, largest in size, the water cascade is located one kilometer from the entrance to the park. It flows into the purest lake Nyat. The path to the waterfall lies along an ornate path through the jungle, on which there are many obstacles.

The waterfall itself is relatively larger than the first. Here you can also swim in the places permitted for this.

Interesting! Lake Ba, located here, was formed due to the fall of a piece of rock.

And to get to the third, smallest of the cascades and Lake Ni, you need to follow a steep path with obstacles and climb up the rocky areas. It's pretty tricky therefore, it is recommended to advance further only for hardy and physically prepared tourists.

Note! While walking through this scenic area, you can see tropical birds, iguanas and lizards.

The entrance to the water here is very smooth, so the beach is ideal. During the period from November to February, the weather here is cloudy and the sea is often restless, so the best time to visit the beach is during the summer months.

Excursions

Exciting excursions for vacationers and travelers in 350 cities around the world: Tripster.ru is a service of unusual excursions from local residents and guides who can tell interesting and exciting about the most interesting in their cities.

The most convenient way to get to the waterfalls is go there with a guided tour. The advantage of traveling as part of a group is the availability of a personal guide and a guide who is familiar with the rather extreme route.

The excursion programs are varied and include light trekking in the jungle and climbing along the riverbed. For thrill-seekers, there is the opportunity to jump from a 9-meter-high cliff into this lake, or simply swim in its purest mountain water.

Some excursions include visiting a wild beach. A number of excursions are offered as one-day or two-day fitness tours.

How to get there?

You can get to the waterfalls on your own by renting a motorbike, by city bus number 3, or as part of an excursion group.

On my own

The most popular mode of transport in Vietnam is a motobike, which is used not only by locals, but also by travelers. Bike parking in the park is paid.

Advice! To get to the waterfalls by motorbike, the easiest way is to navigate the route laid out in online maps by typing in the search engine the queries "Ba Ho Waterfalls" or "Doc Let Beach".

By bus

The regular bus is the cheapest form of transport. Passing all over Nha Trang, city \u200b\u200bbus number 3, goes straight to Zoklet beach.

Travel time to the beach - 1 hour, fare - 25,000 VND.

The bus also passes the turn to the waterfalls, but there is no stop at this place, and before the turn from the main road, you have to walk about 4 km.

Visit cost

The cost of entrance tickets to the park is 45,000 dong. On the territory of the park, a fee is also charged for the official parking of a motorbike - 5,000 VND.

Where to eat on site?

In the park there is a place, where vacationers can have a snack and drink aromatic Vietnamese coffee at low prices. The locals also sell water and drinks here, but it's best to take a snack with you.

A trip to Baho Falls will be remembered for a long time, especially if you prepare well for it and take into account the recommendations for visiting.

You can visit the waterfalls at any time of the year, but they are most beautiful and full-flowing in October and November, when Nha Trang has the most precipitation. However, visiting the attraction after a tropical downpour and during the high rainy season is not recommended, as the road to the falls can be very blurred and for travelers on their own it can be simply dangerous.

When it comes to visiting time, it is best to go on a trip early in the morning and choose a clear sunny day for this. If it rains along the way, the best solution would be to go back, postponing the trip for another date.

Since the path to the falls is not easy, and in some areas you have to climb over clamps driven into the rocks, it is best wear comfortable flat sports shoes... You can also take off your shoes and walk barefoot over the rocks.

Do not forget to take with you hats, drinking water and snacks. If desired, a bathing suit will not be superfluous - in some places you can swim. Traveling along extreme trails will be most convenient with a tourist backpack. So hands will be free to carry out maneuvers.

Important! Experienced tourists are also advised to take repellents with them on a trip - means that repel mosquitoes, since blood-sucking insects can well ruin outdoor recreation.

Is it better to go with an excursion or on your own?

Most tourists visit Bajo Falls with excursions organized by local travel agencies. This is the most convenient way to get to the place from Nha Trang.

In the vicinity of Nha Trang is several waterfallsoften visited by tourists. We have classified hot springs and mud baths in this category.

You can get to almost all the hot springs and waterfalls of Nha Trang listed in the article both independently and as part of an excursion. If possible, we recommend that you travel on your own - at a price it will be much cheaper, and you can plan your time yourself. Self-visit cost (taking into account the road), as a rule, will be no more than 100-500 rubles, depending on the distance from the city of Nha Trang.

Yang Bay Waterfalls

40 kilometers west of Nha Trang is yangbei waterfall, which in Vietnamese means "sky waterfall". The authorities recently built a concrete beach here, which spoiled the view of the falls. However, it is still a good place to visit.

The entrance fee to Yangbei Park is VND 120,000. In addition to the waterfalls themselves, other entertainments are available in the park - for example, hot springs. You can swim in both waterfalls and hot springs, and the rest of the time you can walk around and enjoy the picturesque views of the nature of Vietnam. It is recommended to bring your own food and drinks.

In addition, there are one more waterfalls in Yangbei Park - they are called Yang Kan. You should definitely visit them to see how two water streams merge in one place - one with clean, transparent water, and the second brown due to the admixtures of clay. You can take a dip in any.

Ba Ho Waterfalls

Ba Ho translates from Vietnamese as "three lakes". The Ba Ho waterfalls are located next to the village of the same name, twenty kilometers north of Nha Trang. Ba Ho are three waterfalls located on a fairly fast flowing river, which then disappears into the jungle.

Getting to Ba Ho Falls is easy: you need to leave Nha Trang to the north (over the bridge, which is closest to the sea) and go straight. After about 7 kilometers, there will be a sign and an arrow indicating a left turn towards the Ba Ho waterfalls (suối Ba Hồ). You cross the railway crossing and then go straight all the time. Along the way, you can admire the views of the Vietnamese countryside.

The entrance to the park is paid - VND 15,000. Parking is paid separately, it will cost no more than 3000 VND for one motorcycle. After entering the park, you need another 20-30 minutes to get to the waterfalls on foot along specially laid paths. As already mentioned, there are three of them in total, and it is more and more difficult to get to each subsequent one. For example, to get to the third waterfall, you will have to practically climb huge boulders almost vertically upwards. But this has its advantages: most tourists do not go beyond the first waterfall, which means that on the second and third you can enjoy the views of nature when no one will distract you.

Fairy Spring Waterfalls

These waterfalls are located 20 kilometers southwest of Nha Trang. Most visiting travelers do not know about these waterfalls, so the main visitors here are local youth. The price of a ticket to the park is 10,000 dong, a parking space for a bike is 3,000 dong.

Fairy Spring waterfall near Nha Trang It is a small cool stream and a small swimming lake that can be reached after a short walk in the jungle. The place is great to visit in the summer months, but in the winter the water is too cold for swimming.

The source of water from where the stream with a waterfall begins is located in the region of Mount Hon Ba - the highest point of this province. In these places, the infrastructure is not yet well developed - you can buy water here, but food is not yet sold, so it is better to take care of buying it before going to the falls.

Thap Ba Hot Springs and Mud Baths

Thap Ba mud springs are located just four kilometers northwest of Nha Trang. The staff, as a rule, even speaks Russian.

Prices in Thap Ba depend on the number of services you want to receive. In addition, the cost of staying, for example, in the mud and mineral baths will depend on whether you are taking a "personal" bath or a shared bath for several people. However, if there are not many visitors to Thap Ba, there is a chance that even buying a ticket to the shared bath, you can enjoy it alone or with your own company.

Access to hot springs and a waterfall is provided for VND 50,000. For an additional 100,000 VND, you can visit everything else: mud baths, hot or cold showers, jacuzzis, hot waterfalls and swimming pools. At Than Ba, you can also purchase a VND 500,000 package that includes a masseuse.

Sometimes this landmark of Vietnam is called Bajo Falls, sometimes just Baho Falls. This is because this natural beauty is a collection of three waterfalls and lakes, following each other. And not all tourists manage to see all three waterfalls, so there is still no clear definition of whether to call this a miracle of nature in the singular or plural. But by and large, this is not important, the name does not affect the beauty of this place. By the way, translated from Vietnamese, "Baho" means "a waterfall with three lakes."

Bajo Falls on the map

  • Geographic coordinates 12.388717, 109.136570
  • Distance from the capital of Vietnam Hanoi approximately 1100 km
  • The nearest airport is Cam Ranh about 45 km in a straight line

This is not to say that the waterfalls are gigantic. The total height of the cascade is about 60 meters. The waterfalls are located in the jungle at a distance of about 18 km from the famous Vietnamese city of Nha Trang. We put off the beach carefree vacation and go ahead, to conquer the virgin jungle, boulders and mountain streams of water.

There are many ways to get to Bajo Falls
- use a rented moped or taxi
- take a regular public bus passing close to the attraction
- the most expensive way is to take a guided tour as part of a group

As we said, Bajo consists of three lakes and waterfalls of different sizes and accessibility.

The first, largest, most famous, and therefore the most populous waterfall feeds Lake Nyat. The water is cool, but pleasant enough for swimming. The path to this waterfall is the easiest and most accessible - you only have to walk along a small path trodden by tourists in the jungle. Sometimes on the way there are obstacles in the form of fallen trees, lianas and other attributes of tropical forests. But don't worry, they are all easy to overcome. Distance from the parking lot for mopeds is about one kilometer. Usually, most travelers limit themselves to this waterfall.

The path to the second, medium-sized Lake Ni is already more difficult. We'll have to climb boulders. But this little trip is worth it. There are much fewer tourists here, and, accordingly, the feeling of unity with nature is much higher. The lake water is colder, but still suitable for swimming. If you are going to swim in this lake, be sure to follow the prompts indicating where you can swim, and where it is highly undesirable.

And finally, the third, most inaccessible and already sparsely populated (one might say practically deserted) waterfall flows into Lake Ba. The path to it assumes that you have some mountaineering skills, since in fact there is no road there, and you will have to climb quite dangerous slopes. Sometimes you will be supported by staples driven into the rocks, and sometimes just lianas. The third waterfall, although the smallest, is very impressive. Few travelers reached it, so such an ascent can rightfully be considered a victory. As a reward, you can plunge into the lake, but this is not recommended, since the water is already very cold and the beaches are not equipped here.

To help travelers, the path to the lakes is indicated by red arrows, so you are unlikely to get lost.

When planning a trip to Bajo Falls, it is worth considering some recommendations.

  • be sure to use high-quality shoes that are most suitable for a camping trip (you probably realized that stiletto heels and an evening dress would be inappropriate here)
  • do not hike in heavy rain or immediately after it. The paths will be blurred, and climbing wet rocks and hills is much more difficult and dangerous.
  • such a trip is not recommended for children, old people and not very hardy people
  • along the way, you will not come across tents with food and souvenirs. The locals have adapted to selling water, beer and some food to tourists, but given the exoticism of the local cuisine and the dubious quality of the cooked food, we still recommend that you stock up on food and water in trusted places
  • expect you to spend at least 3-4 hours on this journey
  • in the first lake you can meet famous cleaning fish (you often saw them in the aquariums of resort towns on the Black Sea coast). In the lake, you can get a peeling service absolutely free, if, of course, these fish pay attention to you
  • a visit to the Baho waterfalls is paid, but inexpensive

Bajo Falls in the photo

Nha Trang is the most popular city in Central Vietnam.

One of its main attractions are the Bajo natural waterfalls, located about 25 km from the resort town.

Everyone has the opportunity to swim in clear warm water and admire the Asian landscapes.

Translated from the Vietnamese language Baho (Ba Ho) means "lake of three rivers" or "waterfall of three pools". Bajo are three separate waterfalls with bodies of water that flow from each other. The chain began with a small mountain river. The waters are surrounded by a tropical jungle through which the road leads from. The main difference between the waterfalls, in addition to their size, is the difficulty of the path to them.

On the territory of the entire protected area, visitors can meet tropical animals and birds. Tourists almost immediately find themselves near the first waterfall, which is large in size against the background of the entire chain of reservoirs. The same reservoir is the most popular among tourists. The cliff, located 12 m above the water, is in demand among the intrepid visitors to Bajo.

The second waterfall is located nearby, which also allows all interested travelers to get to it. Its dimensions are slightly smaller than the previous one, but its advantage is a comfortable descent and a fairly large pool size. It is here that it is best to swim in the mountain waters.

ATTENTION! Until the last, third waterfall, there is a road through mountain cliffs, descents and ascents. It is not recommended to go on such a trip to young children, the elderly and people with poor physical fitness.

However, it will not be difficult for all prepared tourists to overcome small obstacles for the sake of extreme sensations. Signs on the stones will help you not to get lost on the way. The third waterfall, although the smallest of the entire chain, offers no less picturesque views for tourists.

The Baho Falls chain is a picturesque area located near the resort of Nha Trang. Various travel options in the price range and an inexpensive entrance ticket to the protected area give every Vietnamese tourist a chance to visit this Asian corner. It is important to take into account the recommendations for tourists, and then the rest will be unforgettable. And after reading the reviews of other tourists, you will know exactly what to expect from this trip.

The Ba Ho waterfall can be reached along the Hanoi highway, if you go from Nha Trang to the north for about 25 kilometers. A boat station is located seven kilometers away, from where excursions to the Northern Islands of the Nyafu Bay go.

Ba Ho translates as "three lakes". They are formed by a waterfall, falling from a height of 60 meters. The lakes are located at different levels and are interconnected by the descending stream of the waterfall. The water in them is clear, the views around are picturesque. People come here to enjoy the silence and singing of birds, admire the surrounding beauty and just swim. Ba Ho is often viewed by tourists as three separate waterfalls.

The way from the highway to the first lake of the waterfall will take about half an hour. The path goes through the jungle, that is, in the shade, so it is not difficult to walk. Along the way, you can meet some of the rainforest inhabitants - iguanas, monkeys, etc. As well as enterprising locals selling water and other refreshing drinks. As you get closer to the waterfall, the jungle gives way to huge boulders. You have to climb over them, but it's easy - in sports shoes. Red arrows are drawn on the stones everywhere, indicating the desired direction.

The very first lake Nyat fascinates with its extraordinary beauty. The water is not as cold as you might expect from mountain lakes, but it is cool. Refreshes well after a long journey. Swimming is safe, so tourists with children usually stay here. Between the stones in the water, you can stumble upon cleaner fish, and go through the heel treatment procedure for free.

The trek to the second lake It is not more difficult, but the walk is not as long as to the first. The water is much colder and the scenery is even more impressive. There are very few tourists here, so you can feel the enchanting mystical beauty of a secluded place, where the sound of water remains the only sound.

The trip to the third Ba lake is available only to trained tourists with rock climbing skills. The ascent to the gorge goes along rocky slopes, into which braces are hammered into which you can hold on. But here and there only vines serve as supports.

An excursion to the Ba Ho waterfall will leave an unforgettable experience. You need to go there in dry weather and in appropriate shoes.
