The entrance to the water is shallow, the water is clear. On both sides of the beach, where there are stones in the water, there are fish, so you can go snorkelling.
Infrastructure
You shouldn't expect any special infrastructure from Freedom Beach. There is a toilet, a restaurant (prices are, of course, more expensive than on other beaches), massage awnings, sun loungers and sun umbrellas (rental costs 120 baht). There is not much natural shade.
There is nothing else here, no hotels, no shops. The closest hotel is Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong, which is half a kilometer from the beach.
By the way, the entrance to the beach is paid and costs 200 baht. But if you sail by sea by kayak or boat, then it's free.
Unfortunately, from 10 am Freedom Beach begins to fill up with holidaymakers, most of whom arrive by private boats from neighboring beaches. Therefore, given the small size of the beach, there are often more holidaymakers than in Patong or Karon.

Those who travel by tuk-tuk do not need to look for a road - the driver will take him where he should go - but it will cost 300-400 baht, and you also need to go from the gate on your own. And be patient, because you will have to walk for about half an hour, and if the path to Freedom beach goes down, then you will have to climb back up the mountain.
How to get to the beach is up to you, but many tourists find the second way very tedious and suitable only for athletic people.
