Booked a room with a sea view. In fact, the room was behind a concrete fence, on the first floor, behind bushes and trees. To say that the sea is not visible is of course impossible, since a small, barely distinguishable strip was visible. They refused to change the number, referring to the reservation of all rooms. Why we overpaid for a room with a sea view is not clear. The jacuzzi in the room was very dirty and I didn't want to wash it myself. We only booked breakfast. This is a fairly monotonous buffet. It's the same every day. You can offer your guests a more varied menu. There are no vegetables, there are flies on the food. This hotel is overpriced and the service staff is annoying. We had dinner by the sea once at the hotel, and my husband and I had the feeling that the three of us were having dinner. And also in the evening, kerosene lamps are lit along the beach edge of the restaurant, the smell is strong. Instead of the smell and taste of food, solid kerosene. Had lunch and dinner outside the hotel. We are not gourmets, but finding a place with delicious food turned out to be difficult. We had lunch and dinner at Tartaluga several times. Beach towels changed somehow fantastic. If you don't leave a sign asking you to remove the number, they won't. The stairs to the beach pool wobble so that you can fall. Because of this, we swam there only once. All the time on the beach when you are sunbathing, or if you go out to have breakfast on the terrace, hucksters come up. Very annoying. This is terrible. We spent most of the day on the beach and every two or three minutes someone came up. At the end of your stay at this hotel, it starts to get annoying. Or they offer to buy something, or they simply ask for money. Moreover, they do not leave you for several minutes. We were at five different beaches in Sri Lanka, this is only found here. There is a security on the beach, why local trade cannot be regulated is not clear. Beach loungers are not washed or changed. Many sunbeds and umbrellas require renovation. You need to buy an adapter for local power outlets. But this is everywhere on the island. The administration does not provide an adapter.

Booked a double suite with one bed. We rested in early March 2016. The room was really big, with a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. The hotel territory is guarded. There is a car parking. Every evening in the evening, all the beach restaurants display fresh seafood and grill. There are sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, as well as a small pool, beach shower where you can rinse after swimming in the sea or pool. There is a hot pool with a hot tub on site. The room has everything you need, the air conditioner works great. Since the hotel is located in a bay, the waves are not strong and you can swim. Indoor area with green and flowering trees.
