M4 settlements. M4 highway, toll sections: how to get around them? Dzhubga - traffic jams and their detour

Route M-4 "Don" regularly gets into the news reports this year. First - a traffic police post "Tsukerova Balka" in Krasnodar Territory, now there are many kilometers of traffic jams in the Voronezh region. Locals for a reward began to show an alternative path

The federal highway M-4 "Don" even has its own community in the social network "Vkontakte". The revival in the user group begins in the holiday season: reviews of roadside cafes, cameras, road accidents, endless traffic jams, in which motorists lose precious time.

Most of the negative comments on traffic jams come from the Voronezh region. Here, due to road works, you will lose a little time at the fork near the town of Ramon, before entering Voronezh.

A real "great standing" of drivers awaits near the village of Losevo, where a four-lane highway turns into a two-lane highway. Per day in holiday season 30 thousand cars pass this section with a capacity of 14. As a result, a section of 28 kilometers takes on average three to four hours. Driver Denis gave a comment to Business FM straight from the traffic jam on the M-4:

“I got stuck in a traffic jam 50 kilometers before Losevo. At first we stood tightly for 10-15 kilometers, but now some movement began. The map shows that everything will be red to Losevo. We are driving 20 kilometers per hour at the most ”.

Editor of the site "Vesti-Voronezh" Tatiana Dorofeeva says the already tense road situation becomes catastrophic during the holiday season:

“In mid-June there was a traffic jam, I think, 50 kilometers, and a couple of days ago - 45 kilometers. The speed of movement is 3.5 kilometers per hour, you can imagine. There is real hell. Closer to Losevo, local boys ride on mopeds with posters “Show the detour”. They ask for 300 rubles, but the detour that they show is, of course, extreme: either on a dirt road, or in general on fields. In bad weather it is impossible to get through there, in good weather it is quite possible to leave the wheels there ”.

In addition to the enterprising "Susanins", roadside cafes make good money, including on the adjacent roads, where vacationers are desperately looking for a detour. They promise to build a bypass road by the end of 2019, until that moment, drivers will have to bite their lip and take it for granted.

At the beginning of August 2018, we went on a trip north-po. And after a little over two weeks we set off in the opposite direction - to the south.

Crimea was our target. But we could allocate no more than a week for it - work intervened in the plans and demanded a mandatory presence in Penza, or rather, near Penza. And we also could not move the dates of the trip to more convenient ones because of the same work. So we had to return to Moscow along a completely different road.

In this situation, it would have been better to fly to Crimea by plane, but it turned out to be too expensive. In addition, we love road trips, and this trip turned out to be very unusual in terms of route and impressions.

On August 31, 2018, at 8 o'clock in the morning, we started from Moscow. On this day, we had to drive 1060 km to Rostov-on-Don. Actually, I'm not a fan of such huge runs, preferring to limit myself to 500-600 km per day, so that there is time for sightseeing and other interesting things.

It would be more logical to make an intermediate stop in Voronezh, fortunately, there are a lot of attractions and many comfortable hotels. But in this situation, we could not afford it. However, I know a lot of people who manage to get to the Black Sea in one trip: 18-20 hours behind the wheel - and you are there. But such a race for me is absolutely no buzz.

In my opinion, with all my love for the North, the M-4 Don highway is much more interesting than the high-speed one. When you go along the M-11, continuous forests stretch along the highway. Sometimes swamps. And then again the forests. The only entertainment is to observe changes in vegetation: spruce, pine forest, mixed forest, birch. There are practically no settlements. At some point, boredom starts to overcome and the only salvation you find in conversations.

The southern route is another matter. Around incredible beauty and scale landscapes: hills and ravines, river ribbons, picturesque copses, ancient cities and villages.

Waste heaps in Tula region

There are several paid sections on the M-4 "Don" highway, and every year there are more and more of them. We bought a transponder at one of the Lukoil gas stations. It is more profitable to drive on toll roads with it. But, as it turned out much later, he works on the M-11 highway every other time, and does not provide discounts on the Moscow - Solnechnogorsk section. Although it was written on his packaging that he works for M-1 "Northern Bypass Odintsovo", M-3 "Ukraine", M-4 "Don", M-11 "Moscow - St. Petersburg" and on the West speed diameter in St. Petersburg.

Payment point at the end of one of the toll sections of the M-4 "Don" highway

On the M-4 highway, the transponder worked almost flawlessly. The main thing is to drive slowly past the scanning device so that the system will withdraw money from the account and open the barrier.

We passed the Moscow, Tula, Lipetsk regions. The landscapes are magnificent: hills and beams, fields and copses. But after Karelia it was difficult for me to rebuild, the energy here is completely different.

Route M-4 "Don"

Zadonsk. Zadonsk Nativity of the Mother of God Monastery

In the Voronezh region went pine forests, almost the same as on the P-21 "Kola" highway in Leningrad region... We even joked that the road must have made a detour, which we did not notice.

And then the endless fields and ridges on the horizon again stretched. There were still several hundred kilometers to Rostov-on-Don, and we were already rather tired of driving. Not so much physically as mentally.

Voronezh region is famous for its chalk mountains. They are very picturesque.

In Losevo, they got stuck in a traffic jam that stretched to Pavlovsk and beyond. A road is being built around these settlements. When completed, it will, of course, be much better. But so far we have lost about two hours (and maybe more) of precious time. Therefore, many try to leave the house so as to pass this place at night.

The day was moving towards its end. And we all drove and drove. The border of the Rostov region, not to mention Rostov-on-Don itself, loomed somewhere ahead.

Some of those traveling south spend the night in cars. For safety reasons, they usually stop at large gas stations or traffic police posts.

AT Rostov region drove in at dusk. Soon the night fell. The route goes quite close to the border with the DPR there. We arrived in Rostov-on-Don at about 11 pm, closer to midnight we settled in "Marins Park Hotel" ... I wanted to sleep more than I could. therefore local cuisine could assess only in the morning.

Have you decided to go on vacation to the south in your own car? If you don't want to ruin your vacation even before it starts, I advise you to read this article. Today I will talk about the two most common highway divorce schemes that you may encounter on the road. Tired of constantly looking at how innocent motorists are huddled. I hope this article will save someone from such troubles on the road.

Nowadays, the outright lawlessness of traffic cops, which they did in the 2000s, has become history. Today you will no longer encounter the arbitrariness that was happening at the “famous” post, but the rip-off of drivers for bribes is still used quite effectively. Now the extortion of money is going on in a much more cultured and less intrusive way than before, since the mechanisms for combating corruption are at least as bad, but they have begun to work and traffic cops are periodically sent to places of imprisonment.

All schemes are rather primitive and are designed for your fatigue, inattention, haste and desire to quickly get to your destination.

Divorce on M4 Don for marking or oncoming lane

There are different options for this method of divorce, but the essence is the same. I will describe the situation using my own example.

I pass the Rostov traffic police post at st. Open, 1. When driving to the south, the post is located in front of the bridge over the Don River.

The inspector stops. I show the documents to the employee and he immediately, muttering something under his breath, leaves and takes a position at the trunk, behind the car.

At this point, I made a grave mistake and got out of the car before the employee voiced his intentions or claims to me. I thought that he wanted to inspect the trunk and went after him so as not to waste time.

Further, the traffic police officer tells me that I violated the traffic rules, and specifically ran into the markings indicating the place of the oncoming traffic, that is, I kind of crossed the oncoming lane. I am naturally indignant.

Always stay in the car until the inspector has clearly told you what he wants from you. If you have a recorder, turn it so that it is filming your conversation with the traffic police officer. In 99% of cases, further dialogue with you will not follow, you will be given your license and you will move on, saving your time and nerves.

Then the acting game begins. The traffic cop demonstratively contacts someone on the radio and there they confirm to him that it was my car that violated the rules and that it was recorded on some kind of camera. He tells me that I am deprived of my rights for 4 to 6 months. Once again I confidently declare to him that I have not violated anything. Then we go to the traffic police post, to a separate “VIP” room, not equipped with anything at all. There was only a table and two chairs, even the elementary laptop was not there to present at least something in fact. Then the inspector sits down at the table and invites me to sit opposite. I refuse and take a position almost point blank to him. Here the traffic cop makes a mistake, since psychologically he finds himself in a less advantageous position for pressure towards me - I am on top, he is below)) After which I turn to the attack and start bombarding him with questions: where the violation was committed, what time, who transmitted the information why they didn't stop them right away, and so on (naturally, the employee could not answer most of the questions, in fact). And at the end of my fiery speech, I demand to present photo and video evidence of the violation and propose to start drawing up a protocol.

Dpsnik refuses to draw up a protocol, says that he personally does not have materials on the case and they will be sent to the court at his place of residence. Returns my rights. In simple terms, this means that the employee bounced back, realizing that he could not receive a bribe.

No one will send any materials to any court, because they simply do not exist. Even if you theoretically imagine that they are, then the maximum you will receive a letter with a fine, not a court! If you were not stopped at the moment of the violation, then there can be no deprivation of your rights, since it will be impossible to prove who exactly drove the car at the time of the violation.

Speeding divorce

This scheme is similar to the situation described above. Only in this case there is a divorce for speed and you will be shown a fixation of your alleged violation.

The meaning is this. A traffic cop stops you and says that you have exceeded the permissible speed by more than 60 kilometers, which entails a revocation. Then, on a laptop (and sometimes even on a phone :)) you will be shown a real photo of your car with a fixed speed. But the point is that it is impossible to understand from the photo where it was taken or what the permissible speed was there. In another version, the place will be known and a specific kilometer is indicated, but the permissible speed there was, for example, not 90 km / h, but 30. You will be assured that there was some kind of sign and you did not notice it. Most likely, there was no sign, and the camera is “not officially”.

In this situation:

  • Demand to provide a device for verification, on which the violation was recorded.
  • The photo should indicate the permissible speed and the one with which your car was moving. In case of divorce, most likely, only the speed of the car will be indicated.
  • If the camera is in one place, but you are stopped in another, then this is not a deprivation, but only a fine.

Let's analyze the situation and summarize

All frauds with falsification of traffic violations are rather primitive and are designed to quickly confuse the driver. Since the traffic cops are afraid of being caught while “handling the client,” they quickly retreat at the slightest resistance. Time is also an important factor, and time is money)). If you resist, then it is easier for them to let you go and catch another, more accommodating car owner.

  1. Be confident. Don't show your tiredness. Do not hurry. Try not to get nervous.
  2. During a stop by traffic police officers, never get out of the car unnecessarily. The law does not oblige you to do this. If an employee begins to leave without explanation with your documents in an incomprehensible direction, remind him that he has no right to do this without your permission.
  3. Do not obey implicitly all the requests of the inspector, since most of them are just requests and not requirements. You are not obliged to comply with requests and this is not disobedience to the traffic police officer. For example, an employee in 99% of cases does not have the legal right to require you to get out of the car, he can only ask to do it.
  4. Do not play by the rules that the employee offers you, but try to impose your own (within the law), as this knocks the employee off from the worked out divorce scheme. Asks you to get out of the car - do not get out, asks you to sit down - stand still, asks you a question - ignore and ask yours, etc.
  5. Avoid questions that are not relevant to the situation: where are you going, where are you working, etc. If the inspector realizes that you have money, he will grab you like a tick))
  6. If you are accused of some kind of violation, then behave confidently. Ask leading questions quickly and clearly. If you feel that the inspector has "floated" in some topic. Ask the same question even more persistently and confidently. Demand proof. Ask to draw up a protocol.
  7. If your violation was recorded by a camera, and the traffic cop stopped it later, then let him know that you are aware that this is, at least, not a deprivation of rights. Further you will become uninteresting to him.
  8. Capture your communication on mobile phone or communicate in front of witnesses. For example, you are driving with your wife, you are stopped and dragged to the post - go together, the law does not prohibit this.

Last but not least!

Under no circumstances should you think about a bribe!

Firstly, thinking about the possible buy-off, if something suddenly goes wrong, you already subconsciously admit your guilt. The traffic cop will feel it and "devour" you)

And secondly, do not give bribes, as supply creates demand. If you don’t give, then there will be no one to breed. And if you really violated, then be ready to answer according to the law if you want to live in a normal and civilized country.

Another famous place, where you can be disqualified for disqualification for crossing a solid - on M4

Friends, do not remain indifferent to the arbitrariness of the traffic police on the roads! Write complaints on the traffic police website and help spread this article on social networks.

Good luck to everyone on the road and a pleasant stay!

Federal highway M4 "Don" is a federal highway.

Moscow - Vidnoe - Efremov - Voronezh - Rostov-on-Don - Krasnodar - Novorossiysk. The main part of the route from Moscow to Krasnodar is an integral part european route E 115.
The section from Krasnodar to Dzhubga forms route E 592. From Dzhubga to Novorossiysk it is part of the E 97. On the M4 road there is a section of the European route E 50 from the intersection with the M19 at Novoshakhtinsk to the M29 branch at the Pavlovskaya stanitsa.

In the Moscow region, the road has a highway mode, in other sections - a regular road mode.

The length of the road is ~ 1544 km.
Number of lanes: from 2 to 6.

Passes through the territory of the Moscow, Tula, Lipetsk, Voronezh and Rostov regions, Krasnodar Territory and the territory of the Republic of Adygea.

Bypass roads around the cities of Voronezh and Rostov-on-Don were made along the highway.

The road has approaches to: Yelets (12 km), Lipetsk (65 km), Novocherkassk (5 km)

On a paid site in Lipetsk region there are road signs limiting the speed to 110 km / h, although this section is not a motorway.

A number of road sections are dangerous to traffic and require special attention from the driver:
- with steep descents and ascents (60 km, 98 km, 109 km, 116 km, 298 km, 347 km, 356 km, 386 km);
- with sharp turns and sections with limited visibility (26 km, 49 km, 95 km, 364 km).

The road crosses significant rivers: Oka (near Kashira), Krasivaya Mecha (near Efremov), Sosna (near Yelets), Don (near Zadonsk), Voronezh reservoir, Seversky Donets (near Kamensk-Shakhtinsky ).
Bridges over 50 m long have a lifting capacity of 60-80 tons.

Route

The M4 road begins at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road and Lipetskaya Street (direction to Lipetsk), then passes through the territory of the Moscow Region in a southern direction in the form of a modern highway with interchanges and dividing stripes, goes west of the city of Vidnoye, east of the city Domodedova (between the city and the airport), passes west of the cities of Kashira and Stupin, approximately in the same place the M6 \u200b\u200bhighway branches off from it, leaving to the southeast.

Then the road follows through the territory of the Voronezh region, to Voronezh, bypasses Voronezh along a bypass road passing along the northeastern outskirts, passes the cities of Pavlovsk and Boguchar, through the villages of Losevo and Verkhniy Mamon.

Further, the road goes through the territory of the Rostov region, crossing the E 40 Volgograd - Chisinau highway in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, leaving the cities of Millerovo (to the west), Krasny Sulin (to the west), Shakhty (to the east), approaches the city of Rostov-on-Don ... Further, after the bypass road around Rostov-on-Don and the bridge over the Don River, it follows to the south through Bataysk and Samarskoe.

By territory Krasnodar Territory the road passes the villages of Kushchevskaya, Pavlovskaya (the beginning of the highway M29 "Caucasus"), the city of Korenovsk and reaches Krasnodar. Here the direct road to Novorossiysk A146 E 115 departs, and the M4 continues south to the resort village of Dzhubga. From here, the M27 road departs to the east, and the M4 follows the coast of the Black Sea to the west, passes Gelendzhik and ends in the city of Novorossiysk. At the same time, there is a shorter and more convenient road through Timashevsk and Slavyansk-on-Kuban for driving towards Novorossiysk, Anapa and Gelendzhik.

The most dangerous section for traffic is the section from the entrance stele to the Rostov region from Voronezh to the entrance to the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky (~ 140 km). Here the road, with heavy traffic, has 1 lane in each direction with large elevation differences. Mass road works are underway and this is the reason for frequent accidents.
