Bo dipping. "Cote d'Azur" (former Okunevaya), recreation center. Distinctive features of the base

I am reporting from Okuneva Bay, located on the northern wooded shore of the Gulf of Finland, about a hundred kilometers from St. Petersburg. End of the second decade of August 2015. Dawn. I am standing on a stone at the foot of a man-made breakwater of huge boulders, extending from the shore at a right angle. At the end of the pier there is a chapel. The soul is good!

About twenty years ago I was fishing with my comrades in a nearby bay: we arrived in the evening, went out to fish at dawn on inflatable boats... Fishing did not work out: during the night the July weather changed dramatically - it was overtly stormy. Our boats were pretty shaken by the wave. We showed each other that pitching does not affect us in any way. However, forty minutes later, nevertheless, under various pretexts, they went ashore without a catch. Finally, we looked around with regret: among the picturesque stones in a high-thrown boat not far from the shore, only one fisherman continued to fish in spray. The gloomy sky, every now and then dripping with rain, did not promise us anything good. It was chilly from the damp clothes and the piercing wind.

Having lowered the boats, they loaded into a car left in a pine forest and moved to this very Okunyovaya Bay, well protected from the waves by several islands or, rather, by ridges of stones. On the shore, somehow unnaturally, there was a fishing trawler. The bay was spacious, quiet and calm. Having passed it on oars from end to end, then they decided that this is a sincere and, probably, a fishing place. But the perches did not peck contrary to the name of the bay. Our boats were standing side by side: I saw that my friends could not adapt to catching roach - they would attach one tackle, then the other - the fish almost did not take it. On my own winter, but large jig was pecked incessantly - it was even somehow awkward in front of my comrades for a decent catch. Apparently, the roach pecked in half of the water and a simple "gliding" tackle was very useful. I fell in love with this pine-covered bay with all my heart, although I was in it only once. I dreamed of being here again!

And here I am again! The grandson is a fourth-grader at ten, got up, brushed his teeth and pulled himself together easily. We walked in the thinning twilight among the cottages of the recreation center to the pier: apparently, the boy was interested. The night before, I showed him how to use a spinning rod, a tackle new to him. Tangling my and his spinning tackle, he provided me with something to do for the rest of the evening. Yesterday morning I easily dragged ashore 5 grams per 250 each. By my Moscow region standards, this is a very decent result for trial fishing.

But something doesn't bite now! The grandson exercises to my left about twenty meters, the cormorants - about a hundred meters to the right. Amazing black birds either dive or take off with acceleration through the water. The area where we fish is covered with small, but rather sharp stones - it's still a pleasure to walk on them! Therefore, it is more convenient to just stand on one of them, picking up the smoothest and not very slippery from wet algae. "Yesterday was a warm day, and today is damn cold!" - I note to myself, shifting in rubber boots with the inscription "Leningrad" on the bootleg. On the toe of the right boot there is a mark from a fire - in Severomorsk I went on a night fishing trip for trout with a colleague and in my sleep I put my foot into the fire.

Meanwhile, the fog is spreading in waves and moving along the water to the opposite shore of the bay, where a trawler stood many years ago. It's damn cold! I looked at my grandson - he was waving a stick like mad. "Freeze?" - I ask. "A little. Hands are frozen, like at the North Pole!" - the beginner spinning player answers. "And I am cold without a pole!" - I think to myself. However, something is slowly but steadily changing in the world around us. The sun finally appears from behind the breakwater. Everything is colored so far in not very bright rays. On the water, here and there, circles begin to be drawn. Light bursts are heard. "The perch chases the fry!" - I conclude. "It's time!" But no matter how I go out of my way, I catch only two perches, smaller in size than yesterday's.

Judging by the more frequent strokes of the spinning rod and the noisy movements of the fisherman along the shore to the left, my catch did not go unnoticed. "Nervous! How I understand him!" - I think. It can be seen that the "quota" for our fish catch this morning was greatly reduced. Looking at the buildings of the still sleeping recreation center taking on color, I, having not warmed up and having not coped with the chills, dream that my grandson would quickly confuse both spinning rods and we finally returned to fill up the warm room. But where is there! My granddaughter, running along the beach on the sand for sugrev, throws the spoon over and over again, leaving me no hope of a decent end to the fishing.

"Maybe let's go ?!" - I quietly throw a trial balloon. "Okay. Let's go" - after thinking for a while, the boy agrees with obvious regret. "Grandpa, will we still go on a morning fishing trip ?!" - asks the grandson when we come to the hotel. "Let's go, of course! Where are we going ?!"

Reviews

Great story.
I remembered how we once spent the night on the bank of Zapadnaya Litsa.
The three of us got together for a fishing trip: my husband and I and the commander of the nuclear submarine Kolya Shashkov - not a little boy. Since the base was supposed to be a bathhouse with a stove left by the Germans -
the structure of corrugated iron elements, outside covered with a decent layer of peat, did not burden themselves with any tent.

We got to the place, and instead of a bathhouse - burnt peat and in the ashes, crushed by fire
pieces of iron ... I don't know what considerations were guided by the arsonists: did they have such a hobby, or did they destroy the memory of the mountain huntsmen who settled down in a businesslike way on our right bank.

August, it’s in the evening - in those places it gets dark quickly at this time.
It's a long way to the town, and I don't want to return empty-handed.

The men went to the water, and I found a cozy boulder and sat comfortably on it, like in an armchair. A threshold is rustling upstream, above it in the fog the sun, tired during the summer, clings to the bushes ...

And suddenly, against the background of a large reddish disk above the threshold, a huge comma soars
large salmon. Once - did not take the height. The second ... Such a will to continue life was in her flights, that I heartily supported this fish mother, and even
I think that by the power of my thoughts I helped her fly safely to the threshold))).

As for the people, we are not weakly frozen on the cold stones. In the morning they made a fire, in which Kolya set fire to his 47 (?) Size boot. Warmed up only on the pass, from which a view of the town opened
By the way, Anatoly, have you met any of the Popadyins at the school or in the service? The eldest could teach at the school, the three younger ones - all Nikolaevich-
study.

Okunevaya Bay, located on southeast coast Sea of \u200b\u200bJapan in the Partizansky district of Primorsky Krai, is considered one of the best places for beach holiday on Far East... It is adjacent to no less picturesque small bays - Triozerye and Spokoinaya.

Locals also call this small bay Malaya Tazgou. The exotic name remained in memory of the Chinese who once settled in these places, and in the original it sounds like Dazigou (translated as "Taz River").

Attractions of the bay

Until the middle of the twentieth century, there was a small village of Tazgou, in which a prisoner settlement was located right next to the main beach. Today on the shore you can see the remains of a sawmill, a forge, large cement tanks. In them, the prisoners salted fish, extracted fish oil, and by cooking they extracted iodine from seaweed.

Rock outcrops of the most bizarre shapes, reminiscent of fabulous landscapes, are considered the decoration of the bay. On the way to it, which goes through the forest growth, it is quite possible to pick up a whole basket of mushrooms.

You can sunbathe and swim in crystal clear and warm sea water on three beaches. Two of them are located on the coast of Bolshaya Okunevaya and one on the coast of Malaya Okunevaya bay. The coverage of the entire beach area is finely dispersed cleaned white sand. The bottom of the sea near the coast is also sandy, and the entrance to the water is very convenient even for small children. However, there is practically no infrastructure in the bay (excluding civilized guest houses), which attracts tourists who prefer to rest as "savages" in a tent camp.

The most popular recreation centers in Okuneva Bay are:

  • Green's Shore;
  • "Cote d'Azur"
  • "Oasis";
  • Dream Bay;
  • "Century";
  • "Robinson" and many others.

Prices for accommodation in the bay on average vary from 4000 RUB to 7000 RUB per day. They include staying in cozy houses with a veranda, kitchen, bathroom, hot water supply. There are also cafes and canteens for those who do not want to cook on their own. Those who came with kids will be pleased with the presence of a children's inflatable pool and playground at each base. For adults, it provides entertainment such as:

  • diving;
  • boat excursions;
  • visit to the sauna;
  • gym right on the seashore.

The best time to visit Okuneva Bay is from mid-June to the last weeks of September, but places in the houses should be booked in advance: during the season, almost all of them are occupied.

How to get to the bays

To get to the beaches of Okuneva Bay as quickly as possible, you need to do the following:

  • Leave Vladivostok by car along the highway leading to Nakhodka in the direction of the port settlement "Vostochny" and drive straight all the time without turning off the main highway.
  • After leaving behind Wrangel, located on the left side of the highway, at the first turn (after 3-4 km) turn left towards the village of Pervostroiteley.
  • To get to Bolshaya Okuneva beach, drive 3 km along the dirt road towards Triozerie Bay. At the second turn, turn right: you are only 5 km away from the bay, covering the territory of the hill. If you want to relax on the Malaya Okuneva beach, you will have to drive through Pervostroiteley, and then 2 km along good asphalt and 11 km along the unpaved road all the way to the coast.

Okunevaya Bay is a truly exclusive vacation, which is in no way inferior to a trip to warm countries.

On Friday, after work, my family and I went to the Gulf of Finland, to take up a camp site.

The place was chosen taking into account the weather forecast. The forecast was not good - wind and rain in the morning. We were looking for a place to hide from the wind.

On the advice of a friend of the fisherman Andrei, we arrived in Zheltaya Bay, near Okunyova Bay.

The bay greeted us warmly - with a calm, quiet surface.

The shore was sand beach, which attracted many holidaymakers. To our right, Cape Kyrenniemi jutted into the Gulf of Finland, which protected us from the wind. There was a camp of camping trailers. On this promontory there is a monument to Mikael Agricola. Mikael Agricola is a Finnish educator who translated the Bible into Finnish. In Finland, the day of his death on April 9, 1557, is considered the national holiday of the Day of the Finnish Language. There is a lighthouse on the very ledge of the cape. On the shore opposite us there was a car with a trailer in the water. Some of the fishermen have already lowered the boat into the water and went fishing. There were several boats with fishermen in the bay. Basically, everyone was anchored in one place - that means they were catching white fish. An hour later, the owner of the car returned to the shore and I hurried to him to inquire about the catch. In the cage there were about three kilograms of small roach mixed with small perch. They fished with their grandson mainly with a float rod. But there were also bites on the spinning rod. I asked him about the pike perch, to which he received an affirmative answer that there is no pike perch here and after him we must swim in the direction of Primorsk for about 8 km. Vika and Maksik got ready to sleep, and I pumped up the boat and set off towards Primorsk in search of zander. The time was about twelve o'clock in the morning, clouds covered the sky, it became dark. Having skirted Cape Kyrenniemi, I encountered a growing wave, but continued to move towards Ermilovo. Having sailed along the coast for about 5 km at a distance of 300 meters from the coast, I felt somehow creepy. The wave grew stronger, it was dark around, and not a single soul. Having met with some kind of obstacle such as a stone, you can run into serious trouble. Realizing all this, I decided to return. Approaching the shore about a hundred meters, threw the wobbler, set a low speed and went to the shore. On the way, I hooked up someone's net with the motor, it's good that it didn't get wrapped around the screw. I got to camp at about two. He dragged the boat to the camp and went to bed. In the morning I got up at seven o'clock, since I did not buy worms and maggots, and there was no point in getting up to catch roach at three in the morning. There were already two boats on the ridge protruding from the cape. As I swam closer, I realized that they were catching roach with a float. About a hundred meters behind them, I noticed a small flock of seagulls circling in the sky, occasionally descending to the water.
Without hesitation, I went to these seagulls. Anchored about twenty meters, from the place where the seagulls were circling, I threw my spinning rod and immediately followed a bite of the perch. The perch turned out to be quite small and was released in the hope that he would call his older brother.
The depth under me was about four meters, I threw the bait in different directions and almost every cast there was a bite. The perch was standard and immediately went overboard. I used a slightly modified Split Shot rig. The main line is a braid, at the end there is an eared sinker, then a leash of at least one meter with an offset hook and bait. Leash made of regular line with a diameter of 0.12. As a bait, the edible twister has long been proven in these places.

A perch of this size did not quite suit me and I began to experiment. First I increased the size of the bait, then switched to a wobbler.

X-Rap Magnum - color: SB

I swam deeper by nine meters and everything was useless. At nine meters I set up the rig, changing the color and size of the baits on it. There was no result. Returning to the original version, small perch immediately began to peck. Three hours later, Vika called, informing that they had woken up and made breakfast. I took a dozen perches with me for fish soup or roasting over a fire and returned to the shore.
On my way back, I noticed that the wind increased, and there was already a coastal wave in the bay. A couple of hours later, the Akhmetkhanov family arrived, they had a wedding anniversary the day before, and we prepared a surprise and gifts for them.
The whole day we had fun with the children, flew a kite, drove a radio-controlled car.
All holidaymakers also had fun and entertained us. And I kept looking at the water and understood that the wind was not going to calm down. This means that evening fishing is under threat.
After lunch, more guests came to us - Denis Ryabinin with his family. I promised him to go fishing, but the weather failed. We sat by the fire and cooked various goodies.

And yet in the evening at six o'clock Denis and I decided to take the risk and go out into the bay. In the bay, hiding behind the cape from the wind, there were several boats. Everybody fished for roach with a float rod. Moving further and coming out of the bay, we realized that fishing would be uncomfortable. We anchored a little closer to the place where I fished in the morning. Dangling on the waves, we cast spinning rods. On the second cast, I caught on the bottom and tore off the rig. Denis had a wobbler, and it was clear that he hooked on the bottom and dragged the mud along with him. I had to sail further. Having sailed another fifty meters further, the depth did not change, and the waves only intensified. Attempts to play with the bait looked ridiculous. I wanted to hold on to the boat more. We decided that this was not fishing and went ashore. In the evening the wind did not subside. We drank hot tea warmed up over a fire and went to bed. In the morning I got up at seven o'clock and went ashore. The wind became even stronger than in the evening and drove the wave ashore even in the bay itself. Without hesitation, I went to the tent to inspect the dreams. Everyone woke up gradually - some at nine, some at ten. We had breakfast with barbecued sausages.
Then they began to slowly get home. The fishing ended there. But before I say goodbye, I would like to touch upon one problem that we always face when fishing. This is the picturesque land in which we live. What beauty surrounds us.

Chanterelles have already appeared in the forest.

Now look how we thank her for that.

For the last few years, leaving fishing, I try to take away not only my own garbage, but also the garbage left by other vacationers. There is nothing difficult, collecting everything in a garbage bag, putting it in the car, even if there is no room in it, like mine.
And throw it into the nearest trash can in the village, which you pass on your way home. No need to leave, disposable barbecues, the whole forest is littered with them. Take off all the ropes that you pull on the trees. Try to leave absolutely nothing behind. Thanks everyone in advance. Yes, I forgot to tell you about what's on way back we drove to the place where
