Wishes from Alexander: Oh, full - full of the box! Golden sands bulgaria prices shopping center golden sands bulgaria

The Golden Sands resort greeted us with such gloomy sky and inhospitable sea: Aaaaaarrr, see, it is raining in the distance? Or even a downpour! Stunningly beautiful :). This is over Albena, the resort following the Golden Sands: Then a rainbow came out (see it? And I tried to take a photo, although it is almost invisible :))):
And after it, the weather pleased us almost all the days that we were there (although I am glad and rain).

Of course, on the one hand, Bulgaria is not entirely exotic for all of us, plus for me it is the same familiar Black Sea that I got used to in Odessa. But! In fact, the same sea here differs from the Odessa coast: there is an amazing natural combination - the sea and immediately along the coast dense coniferous forests begin, which turn into low, but still mountains. Because of this, the climate is very mild, humid, with a special amazing air saturated with coniferous phytoncides, the sun does not burn out the greens - everything remains juicy and dark green, but at the same time very warm.

And the water! I'm used to the fact that in Odessa it has a brownish tint - both because of algae and because of pollution, unfortunately :(. And here! Clean, with incredible shades - sky blue, turquoise, milky blue, green-black, the sea is indescribably beautiful.The slopes to the beach are not steep, there are no sharp cliffs - everything is very comfortable, the beaches are wide enough, enough for everyone.
It's all about the coast in Golden Sands, but in other places it is completely different - there are cliffs with thin beaches, there are also wide flat beaches: if you are going to Bulgaria, pay attention to this, since comfort primarily depends on this (for example, I do not I love the cliffs).

50 shades of blue: Whoever does not put sankrin on his back and at the same time swim in the sea for hours on a mattress will have the same white stripe in the middle of the back and burned out like me :). Almost Skunk: Milk! It rose after the waves white sand from the bottom and the water became that color. Are you so happy in the water too? I remind myself of a joyous jerk who went mad with happiness: Blue milk: Awesome shades:

Infrastructure

.
So, on the one hand, Bulgaria is not exotic, because we have with this country nearlyone past, but in last years so many new things appear here that one can consider it almost exotic, well, abroad, for sure :). Golden Sands has an ideal infrastructure - there are many shops, a huge number of shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, entertainment for children, attractions, but not very many shopping centers - there is only one here, but still there is (if necessary, then they are in Varna, which is located 40 minutes from Golden Sands).

A plus! Everything is perfectly well-groomed - smooth pedestrian droshky, beautiful green lawns, comfortable benches (there are many of them!), Wonderful night illumination, and not only paths, but also bushes, flowers and trees are illuminated. In general, in terms of saturation, all this reminded me of Pattaya in Thailand, only there are no huge shopping centers that were there, but here it is much, much cleaner (cleanliness, by the way, perfect), plus the sea is better every 100 (who was in Pattaya , he will understand me).

See (this, of course, is only a part - it is impossible to show everything in the photo):
.
Backlighting and perfect grass on lawns: Paths and beautiful fresh needles that are everywhere here and which completely captivated me - I have not seen so many different species anywhere: Ferris wheel with comfortable cabins protected by plexiglass: The Eiffel Tower, which is visible in the distance, is a cafe: Here it is again: Oh, and here came these terrible fish, devouring dead cells from human skin - "wonderful" peeling of the feet, which I will never dare to :.
.

Hotels
.

There are hotels here for every taste, and there are many of them and they are all of an excellent level: firstly, they are all recently built, and secondly, they correspond to the international level. Here is my hotel:
.

I lived in a 4 * "Elena" hotel - and I have nothing to scold him for, for his 4 * he was wonderful, although when I saw reviews on the Internet about him, I was very upset, as he was very much scolded. I do not understand who and for what purpose writes such negative reviews: they scolded everything - and what is dirty here, although the workers here are like bees, they cleaned everything and everything was clean; that the bedding is from Soviet times, although this is not the case - the furniture was fine and the bed was made with excellent white linen, which is just standard for modern hotels; and the food is not the same - although there was such delicious home cooking, plus varied, I don't understand what kind of requests a person should have so that he doesn't like it :(. And in one review I saw a complaint that boiling water can be found only in the morning, then Well, it's funny: I made herbal tea several times a day (or rather, the bartenders made me) and there were no problems with tea or boiling water - and all this was free, even at 4 in the morning I could get up and order yourself some tea or even coffee (I didn’t do that, but if I wanted to, there would be no problems). In general, we and our friends were satisfied with the hotel, and let such reviews remain on the conscience of the “writers.” Yes, I forgot : this hotel is located on the second line: you have to walk about 7 minutes to the beach - for us it was a thrill, as I was glad that I could once again lose unnecessary calories.
But, of course, there are many hotels on the first line, here are some of them, I photographed myself for the future:
.
Here at this hotel every evening there is a delightful performance of aerial acrobats - right on big building two guys and a girl turn / turn over and make different figures: they go down from the roof ( attached with safety cables) and somewhere in the middle of the building they stop and begin to show their skills, the picture is eerie, but very beautiful and mesmerizing (also with music and lighting!). And in the same hotel there is a shopping center:

I didn't take a picture of this name, but I remembered the name - Marina Grand Beach:

What to buy

.
There are as many Chinese nonsense here as in all resorts - this is a small value, but rather an invaluable at all :). And from the Bulgarian there are a lot of products, though not all of them attracted me, but maybe someone will be interested:
.
~ Bulgarian cotton jersey. But it's not all Bulgarian here! Literally, there are a lot of practically the same clothes, but already China: the difference can be found only after probing the fabric - Bulgarian cotton is soft and dense, the stitches are even, Chinese - thin and harder, you yourself know which stitches. But all the same, I would not say that the quality is 5 s +, pampering is more likely, but it's nice that it's natural. I bought myself two T-shirts for home and leisure:
... ~ handmade Bulgarian lace: I am indifferent to such things, but in general this is a good thing, who likes it - here is the paradise of lace:
All sorts of stupid souvenirs and delight made of fruits and roses: Turkish delight with a rose is absolutely amazing - you can't eat a lot of it, but 1 slice gives indescribable pleasure! But I bought it in supermarkets, not in stalls. Look what he is, the tale is simple:
.
Ah, white on top and transparent pink inside: More souvenirs: On the very first day I ran and bought a ton of rose water - this is something that must be taken without fail, since Bulgarian water is the coolest of all, that's for sure :). How much happiness has come:
.
.
!!! There will be a separate post about cosmetic stores, rose water and my purchases, so do not be discouraged that there are not enough jars in this post - soon there will be SO MANY of them that it will definitely not seem like a little;). It also makes sense to buy shoes, bags and leather jackets from Bulgarian - all of them are made of very soft natural leather, which is made in Bulgaria, there are a lot of colors, shapes and types - I somehow did not think to take a picture, and I did not buy anything from this (only a small handbag), but in fact there is plenty to choose from (just look carefully to make sure it is exactly Bulgarian leather, otherwise they might slip China!). Oh, yes, and there is Pandora, which I could not pass by and yet I bought myself a bracelet with a new pendant. I didn't count on it ... Then I'll show you somehow, but for now:
.
.
.
That's all :). Although I will show some more photos:
... Lavender! Although it has already faded, but in this form this plant is beautiful, and how these twigs / leaves smell! Beauty:
.
The water is clear, and crabs and fish gather near the pier (see a crab? Small :):
.
I could sit for a long time and watch them, there are so many of them! My husband constantly takes pictures of me like this, then shows me to look at the expression of my extremely enthusiastic face :). But it's really interesting! A couple of times I allowed myself a pina colada on the beach, although, in principle, an opponent of alcohol, sweet, and even more so on the beach. But rest after all:
.
By the way, there are no problems with the language here at all - Bulgarians understand Russian (not very well, but they will definitely understand you) and answer in broken, but still Russian. And they understand English in hotels. And of course, the Cyrillic alphabet pleases, even the cola here is "our": Sunsets: Another milk milk and my amazing hat (who does not remember: here

In the Soviet Union, getting to Bulgaria and buying something in local stores was considered a big and rare success. Today, Russians have access to shopping all over the world. But, despite this, shopping in Bulgaria is a very interesting activity, and all thanks to the Balkan markets and the European abundance of shopping centers and malls. In general, in these parts there is something to spend money on, and you can buy goods both in large cities and in resorts. It is also encouraging that the accession to the European Union, although forced to raise prices for goods in Bulgaria, they still remained very attractive, especially if you buy products local production.

What to buy

First of all, you should know in advance what is worth buying and what is not. This applies to any country, including Bulgaria. If we talk about souvenirs and other trinkets for the soul, then the best thing to buy here is local food and alcohol. For example, only in resort towns can you find honey in small clay pots, there is just a huge selection of local sweets and spices in the markets. An excellent gift is sudjuk. This is a local veal sausage that is sold well packaged in all supermarkets. The main alcoholic drink is rakia, a huge selection of which is offered by markets and shops in Bulgaria. Another specialty is mastic. This is a strong herbal tincture. From lighter drinks, you can buy wine - from homemade to vintage, which, by the way, is no worse than French.

Local clothing is also inexpensive, especially made of flax. Shopping in Bulgaria is also good for those who are concerned about buying shoes: they are inexpensive, and the quality is excellent. Moreover, the products are made mainly of leather. It's the same with clothes: local production is of very high quality, and on the outskirts of any large city there are huge outlets where you can replenish the wardrobe for the whole family for little money.

Also noteworthy is the local cosmetics based on rose water and oil. It is sold in shops, pharmacies, supermarkets and all shopping centers. Moreover, this is not only care, but also therapeutic and decorative cosmetics.

Where to shop: markets or shopping malls?

There are a lot of shopping centers, markets, and small shops and shops in Bulgaria. You can buy almost any product in them. Stores with clothes and shoes of local production are quite cheap, especially outlets in big cities, but you should not expect from the world trade marks special discounts. Prices in Bulgaria for brands sold in branded departments (for example, Zara or Mango) are the same as in Russia. Although there are sales here, that's when you can buy something worthy for little money.

The dignity of the markets is not only in their color, but also in the ability to bargain. Sometimes you can drop up to 20 percent of the original price. But in small shops and shops, bargaining is inappropriate, prices are fixed. However, be sure to check them out when shopping in Bulgaria. sunny Beach, Golden Sands and other resorts cannot boast of large malls, but it is in these shops that all the most interesting is sold.

Sofia

A large city, with, of course, many shops and markets. Large shopping centers popular with tourists are located on Vitosha Boulevard. This is a central pedestrian street lined with shops, restaurants and shops. Also noteworthy is the shopping gallery near the Palace of Culture. Everything can be bought at once in the largest mall in Sofia Paradise Center Sofia. Here you can find clothes from world and Bulgarian brands, furniture, books, children's goods, entertainment, and even the only amusement park on the roof in the city. It is quite possible to spend the whole day here.

There is also such a feature in Sofia as shopping streets, where all the shops specialize in one type of product. This is great if you want to buy something specific. For example, Exarch Joseph Street specializes in the sale of shoes.

The outlets that we have already mentioned are scattered throughout the city, but the largest selection is at the Sofia Outlet Center on Tsaregradskoe highway. There are a huge number of international ones - Convers, MEXX, Kenzo, S. Oliver and many others. All collections are from past years, and prices are very attractive.

Speaking about the markets in Sofia, one cannot fail to mention the oldest one - Zhenski Pazar. They say that it has been in effect since the time of the Ottoman yoke. Be that as it may, today it is located in the heart of the city, renovated and offers its visitors local products and souvenirs.

Another interesting market is located near the Zhenski Pazar, on Maria Luiza boulevard - this is Hali, which has been operating for two centuries. This is not only a place where you can buy souvenirs and food, but also a historical and architectural landmark of the capital.

Varna

it big City, in which, as in Sofia, there are many places where shopping is possible in Bulgaria. Look for the largest stores between the Drama Theater and the Black Sea Hotel. There are expensive shops and boutiques in the old part of the city, while prices are more reasonable on Varenenchik Boulevard. Next spots for shopaholics are Independence Square and Knyaz Boris Street. A large mall is located right behind the bus station building, this is "Varna Grand Mall".

If, being in Varna, you want to walk around the bazaar, go to Drin Street, there is a market here, where, by the way, they accept not only but also currency - dollars and euros.

Golden Sands

The Golden Sands resort is located near Varna, so large shopping centers and markets are located there. But also in resort area there is where to spend money.

First of all, this resort place is famous for its silver jewelry. Look for them in the shops scattered along the coast. As for clothes, you will have to go to Varna to buy brands, but the production of local factories here is presented in abundance and inexpensively.

Shopping in Burgas, Bulgaria

It is large seaport, which many tour operators advertise as a Mecca for cheap shopping. Please note that shops in Burgas are open only from 10 am.

Mostly all interesting shops are concentrated on Aleksandrovskaya Street and Bogorodi Street, which crosses it. Be careful: sellers who know about the glory of their city and how popular shopping in Burgas (Bulgaria) is, try to cash in on gullible tourists and pass off Turkish and Chinese things for local goods, and even high prices... Nevertheless, we advise you to visit the Burgas Plaza shopping center, although it is located at the opposite end of the city.

Nessebar

Despite the very modest size of the city, very successful shopping in Bulgaria is possible here. is very close, so while relaxing in this resort, visit Nessebar. Lots of European and local brands, clothes, shoes, souvenirs - the choice is very large. Sales, as elsewhere in Europe, are in July and January, but discounts can actually go up to 70 percent.

In the old part of the city (landmark - Father Paisiy Street), pay attention to souvenir shops with local crafts. The prices for silver, ceramics, leather are lower here than in Sofia or Burgas. But it is better to look at clothes in shops in the new part of Nessebar. There are fewer tourists and prices are lower.

  • On the pages of information resources dedicated to the topic we are considering (shopping in Bulgaria), the reviews unanimously repeat about the simply indecent cheapness of goods. In fact, many of these reviews are out of date. Of course, the prices here are lower than in Europe, but you won't be able to buy good things for a song, don't even hope.
  • Most shops and markets open around 9am and close by 6pm. Shops in Bulgaria often close for lunch too, but certainly not in large malls.
  • It is appropriate to bargain on the market, but you can pay in levs, dollars and euros.
  • The advice is not so much about trading, but very useful in communicating with the seller: remember that Bulgarians express denial with a nod of their heads, as we agree, and vice versa.
  • And if shopping in Bulgaria did not suit you with something, then you can take a bus to neighboring Istanbul.

Bulgaria is called the land of roses. Therefore, products based on rose oil and water are considered a traditional souvenir.

In the shops and supermarkets of Golden Sands, you can choose from perfumes, creams, gels, shampoos, tonics based on rose oil and water. You can even buy rose petal jam and honey. Microdroplets of precious rose oil give soap, hand cream, tonic, shampoo, shower gel, perfume samples a persistent pink scent. I have listed what we bought in a souvenir shop for mere stotinki - at a price from 1 leva to 5 leva. We purchased perfumes from manufacturers from Central Bulgaria, where the Valley of Roses is located: Kazanlak, Karlovo, Plovdiv.

Fridge magnets are in great demand among tourists due to the attractiveness and cheapness of fridge magnets. Magnets with views of the sea, cities, roses, sights, inscriptions and wishes are sold in Golden Sands.

Ceramic products are in demand - bowls, pots, plates, jugs, mugs, teapots, salt shakers, sugar bowls. We bought a teapot for 12 levs and a stewing pot for 10 levs with an original ornament, where “kapki” (drops) are always present. We also bought for 8 leva a ceramic mug with the sights of Varna, Nessebar, Balchik and Albena resort.

Pay attention to the embroidered woolen tablecloths - red, green and white - in Bulgarian cafes and restaurants. They go well with Bulgarian ceramics. However, the tablecloths are expensive: 15 - 20 leva. We bought four red napkins with national embroidery, 2 leva each. A teapot with a Bulgarian ornament on an embroidered red napkin looks great and with the aroma of tea reminds us of Bulgaria.

In general, Bulgarian textiles and knitwear are of high quality and inexpensive. The most common among the products are linen tablecloths, towels, napkins, shirts, blouses, bed linen. In a shop in Golden Sands, I liked the white T-shirt made from 100% cotton. The body is pleasant, and most importantly, I liked the application in the form of a map the Black Sea coast Bulgaria with all resorts and memorable places, many of which I have visited.

Bulgarian dolls are a good gift. For a little girl, it is better to purchase a doll in national dress. Dolls in strange shaggy clothes with a mask and without a mask - kukeri (mummers) - have, according to popular belief, protective functions.

In souvenir shops you can buy a witch in a pointed cap, similar to Gingema and Bastinda from the fairy tale "The Wizard of the Emerald City". But I was deeply impressed by the big witch, who began to giggle viciously and wave her broom while clapping her hands. Such a doll is a good gift for a mother-in-law. Much better than a ball-like spiny fish. These fish are sold in abundance, which means there is a demand for them.

The works of wood carvers are beautiful. It is interesting that in Bulgaria only men are engaged in this art. Home comfort will create wooden boxes, spoons, wall plates, clocks with burnt roses.

Art lovers can bring back from Golden Sands watercolors or oil paintings of Bulgarian landscapes or landmarks. An interesting gift will be an individual or collective portrait drawn by an artist or artist, of which there are many artists on the street. The cost of a portrait is from 90 to 390 leva, depending on the number of persons depicted there.

A colorful reminder of the Black Sea will be beads made of white and colored shells that look great on a tanned neck. Necklaces, earrings and shell bracelets also look beautiful. Well, silver items on leather with a southern tan generally look great. Silver products in Golden Sands resort are sold in many shops.

Few people leave Bulgaria without taking with them a bottle - another excellent Bulgarian wine or something stronger - brandy or brandy. We were no exception - and took with us a five-star Pliska cognac. I also liked the cost of a bottle of cognac in the "Nectar" store on the street of artists - about 10 leva (200 rubles). Try to buy a 5-star Bulgarian brandy in Russia for 200 rubles!

In shops in Golden Sands, a bottle of Kadarka red wine and Tamyanka white wine cost around 3 leva (60 rubles).

Bulgarian moonshine - rakiya - not for everybody. It is best to buy grape brandy. But there are plum, apricot, cherry and apple brandies. In the Magura cafe on Golden Sands, I drank Pescherskaya Rakia. I recommend - it's good! For dinner at a picnic restaurant near the town of Kavarna, we poured grape brandy from a barrel. With the Shopska salad and Bulgarian chicken, the classic rakia went with a bang.

For exotic lovers, it will be interesting to take with you anise mastic - a strong drink of 40-50 degrees and mint liqueur - menta. But these are very exotic drinks.

On a hot sunny day, and in the evening it is good to have a glass of beer. In Golden Sands, I drank the light beer Bolyarka, Zagorka and Shumenskoe. Try it. I think you will.

Golden Sands resort is located near a large and ancient city where the airport is located. There are many interesting sights, restaurants, shops and other entertainment in the city. From Varna to Golden Sands can be reached by buses No. 209, 309, 9, 89, 109, which run regularly, or by taxi.

The resort stretches along the coast for several tens of kilometers. Hotels in Golden Sands are located on several coastlines. A small train runs regularly along the main paths of the resort, which delivers directly to the hotel if it is not on the first coastline... All hotels in Golden Sands are connected by large streets, along which you can walk in the evening. There are restaurants, cafes and clubs with entertainment shows. Souvenir shops, clothing stores, banks, parks and other infrastructure and entertainment facilities are scattered along the roads.

Restaurants and cafes in Golden Sands

The best restaurants in Golden Sands are located in the center, off the coast. The average bill for one person in such an establishment will be from $ 20 to $ 50. In simpler restaurants, you can dine for $ 10-20 per person.

Prices for tours to the Golden Sands resort

Voucher for bulgarian resort Golden Sands can be purchased from 9,000 rubles per person for 7 nights. The voucher includes round-trip air tickets, transfer to the hotel and back to the airport, hotel accommodation in a single room, breakfast and medical insurance... I bought such a ticket this year, I found it not a day before departure, but three weeks before, so this cannot be called a hot tour.

In this case, I used a tour booking service to buy a ticket. I not only advertise this resource, but recommend it to everyone: organized tourists, unorganized (independent) travelers. You can not only find great deals on tours, but also save on air tickets. For example, last year I bought a tour in, although I needed to (only one Burgas airport), but a one-way ticket cost about 14 thousand rubles, and a four-day tour cost me about 8 thousand, so I used a ticket only as a one-way ticket, I already bought a return ticket in three weeks at the well-known aviasales.

Food prices in Golden Sands

You won't stay hungry in Bulgaria. For Russians, of course, after 2014, Bulgaria became more expensive, the cost of groceries in stores in Bulgaria and Russia was almost equal, due to the change in the exchange rate of the ruble to the euro (the exchange rate of the Bulgarian currency BGN has not changed significantly for about 10 years - 1 € \u003d 1.90-1 , 97 BGN).

Prices on the beaches of the resort

The beaches of the Golden Sands resort are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay with equipment - sun loungers, sun umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, etc. Admission to all beaches is free, but there are paid and free zones. In paid zones, it is forbidden to use your own umbrellas, which can be bought for 20 lev in any shop. The cost of an umbrella and a sunbed is 10 levs, a mattress for a sunbed is 3 levs.

Cost of services on the beaches:

  • Umbrella, sunbed, mattress - 10 + 10 + 3 lev;
  • Tent - from 40 levs;
  • Banana rides - from 20 levs;
  • Catamaran - from 20 levs;
  • Bicycle rental - from 5 levs;
  • Water skiing - from 25 levs;
  • Windsurfing - from 30 levs;
  • Boat trip - from 100 levs;
  • Toilet - 1 lev.

Prices for excursions from Golden Sands

There are almost no historical attractions in the resort itself. Very close, within two kilometers, with Golden Sands in the forest natural park there is a medieval rock monastery Aladzha.

Local travel agencies offer excursions both within the republic and in neighboring states. Depending on desires, interests and budget, each tourist will certainly be able to choose a route that suits his needs.

Car rental prices

From Golden Sands to historical sites or simply interesting places you can only get there with transfers or by buying an excursion: Stone Forest, Kamchia Nature Reserve, Cape Kaliakra, Nessebar, Sozopol, Momin-Skok waterfall and much more. In some cases, renting a car will be cheaper and more convenient. The cost of renting a car in the resort is on average from 30 euros per day in high season, the longer the rental period, the lower the cost, but you need to book a car in advance. To search for a car, you should contact one of the well-established car booking services or compare the cost and conditions of car rental on three services at once and choose the best booking conditions:

  • Top Rent A Car - the largest national Bulgarian car rental company;
  • - an international car rental company around the world;
  • myrentacar - cooperates with local car rental companies in Bulgaria, Georgia, Montenegro and other countries.

If you decide to rent a car, please note that the roads in Bulgaria are not the best. The road from Golden Sands resort to Varna with many turns, ascents and descents. In addition, there are sections where the road has collapsed by the side of the road, but there may not be any warning road signs, so both drivers and pedestrians need to be careful on the road.

If you are traveling with a child under 12 years old, then do not forget about a child seat or a booster, otherwise the fine is 50 levs (20 euros). Car rental in Golden Sands resort at the best prices:

Shopping lovers should take into account that car rental can cost them much less than participating in excursions to shopping centers in Bulgarian cities, in the first place . If travelers have a desire to commit excursion around the country, to visit several places far from each other at once, renting a car is the most economical and convenient option.
