The hotel was offered to us by the agency as a good three on the same territory with five, but in the end it is rather one hotel with two buildings. We got to the place at about eight in the morning, immediately offered to pay extra for moving to the Sphinx, but we refused and only at the end of breakfast we gave a room on the third floor. Its condition of course leaves much to be desired, the furniture is old, without a balcony, but the air conditioner worked, the bed was comfortable and in general we only spent the night there. The territory of the hotel is not very large, but everything is thoughtfully located, there are no long transitions inside, just minutes to the beach. a playground, a small zoo corner, a kids club, a cozy amphitheater where children's animation and showtime are held in the evening, there is a water center where you can rent something, the pools are normal, they clean every day, there is a small area with slides, but we were only there once, when we got to know the hotel, there is also a pharmacy and a gym on site. The beach is probably the best that there is in the hotel, it is, as it were, divided into two parts by a bar. We went to the side of the Sphinx, since we actually have a shallow lagoon for children, at low tide, swimming is not at all interesting and under water, except for dead corals, is nothing no. The main criteria when choosing a hotel in Egypt at this time of the year with a modest budget were: the close proximity of the sea to the hotel, not a large hotel area and nice beach, this was answered by the King Tut Hotel. Good afternoon everyone! The opportunity presented itself to take a trip to Egypt - such was the desire of my daughter to celebrate her birthday on the shores of the Red Sea. And our choice was made a couple of days before departure in favor of King Tut Aqua Park Beach Resort, Hurghada, standard room. I will not compare hotels in my review different countries - each country has its own specifics and that in one country it is the norm, in another there may be an exception. I will say right away - Egypt amazed me, Hurghada took its rightful place in my soul) For me, the city turned out to be warm, sweet, hospitable, rainbow and neither with anything incomparable. I felt comfortable and calm here. I am amazed at culture, faith, amazed at the kindness of people, which often the inhabitants of a city with a population of over one million lose. According to American restaurateurs Lareinier and Brillat-Savarin, “To provide hospitality means to be responsible for the well-being of the guest during the entire time he is under your roof,” I can say that the hotel employees were exactly responsible for our well-being  We flew to Hurghada early in the morning, passed the control without any problems, our tour operator organized comfortable buses delivered to the hotel (with check-in still on the way to three hotels, we got 15-20 minutes from the airport), left the suitcases in front of the entrance (there were no problems either with the arrival or departure with the safety of things) and waited for the check-in as in all hotels - 14:00. We did not even think about additional payments for moving to a more comfortable room or SPHINX hotel, everything suited us and we went in a great mood to relax, and not look for pitfalls for a spoiled vacation. Check-in took place earlier than 14:00, we were given a choice of two rooms: on the 1st floor (it seemed to us that it would be noisy, since the windows overlooked the side of the road) and the 3rd floor - we stopped there. The room was standard, everything was normal, a large comfortable bed (the bed was delivered to the child without problems and without long expectations), a balcony overlooking the pool, on the right to the sea, in front there is a construction site, but it was not close and did not bother us at all), TV (there are our channels, Russian and local), refrigerator, safe, bathroom (towels, bath accessories), hairdryer. The water is very soft, after a shower, the skin absolutely did not need moisture, but bottled water was used to clean teeth and face. In general, we were satisfied with the number. All the issues that arose were resolved quickly (for example, the air conditioner stopped working - in a short time it was repaired, they told how to use the safe). The cleaning of the hotel was excellent, the bed, the towels were changed every day, the water was delivered - they always greeted the maid with a smile for which special thanks to him. In the hotel dining room, we personally liked everything, except that there were not always free tables, cups and napkins, but on the second day we worked out our own schedule and the presence of 100 and 1% of tourists did not give us any inconvenienceное The menu is varied and I will never believe. that something was not there - it was everything, it was tasty and a lot, especially cakes - biscuits (I am a fan of sweets and I ate them in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening), the fish is very tasty, chicken, goulash, omelet (oh, these omelets, this the most delicious omelettes in my life and only after trying them once I understood the reason for the queue for them  - a separate bow to the cook who prepares him), croissants, evening cakes with sauces - these are all "must haves"). The pool and the water park are good, children cannot be pulled out of the water park slides) The big plus was that there is an employee at the pool with slides, looking after the order on the slides and the pool itself. Nice zoo - dogs, monkeys and parrots) The hotel territory is small, but it is such that you feel like at your dacha. Not for a single day of my stay did I have to see, hear something that I did not like. Perhaps the slightly annoying sellers of excursions or services on the beach (but this is not a question for the hotel and its management). On the territory there are shops, a fish restaurant (who smokes hookahs in the same place), ice cream, fresh juices, salons of various types of cosmetology and massages) We went to SPHINX without any problems - swimming pools, the same aqua park, a restaurant, etc. Opposite the hotel there is a small bazaar "Jasmine" - in principle, there is everything that you would think you need, a sociable seller will give you cold tea, gifts when buying, bargain - he has good goods at much lower prices than in shops on excursions. To the right from the hotel on the right side, in 10-15 minutes you will reach shopping center "Hurghada City", where there is a grocery supermarket (payment in pounds, changed at the hotel reception), they bought different treats, water, fruits, especially MANGO - it is just magical !!! The pharmacy is also on the right side with prices much lower than Kiev, cosmetics, toothpastes, vitamins - they have collected a lot of interesting things and are very satisfied with the quality). What struck Egypt was the lack of bags - cute little bags both in the supermarket and in the pharmacy. I advise you to go to the embankment "Hurghada Marina" - fabulous place, nice and cozy, boats, yachts, cafes. Near the majestic fabulous Mosque El Mina is a truly holy place, near which you just want to be silent and near which everyone really falls silent. One should look at the Mosque both day and evening, when it starts to glow with lights. Back to the hotel What I would like to highlight: there is a wonderful cosmetologist in the lobby of the hotel (I have not checked the presence of a diploma, but I can recommend with confidence - the masks are wonderful); the waiter (unfortunately I do not remember the names) in the restaurant, which organized a wonderful evening for our daughter's birthday, the waiter at the lobby bar - thanks for the wonderful coffee and special kindness, the receptionist (a tall slender man) - always met pleasantly, listened attentively and gave helpful answers / advice). To the animator Yulia and her colleague - the guys are great, the children are delighted. Special thanks to the administrator for work with guests Kristina - she is a professional with a capital letter, it seems to me there is no tourist to whom she would not find an approach, this is the most kind person, she will always listen and come to the rescue). Standard room on the third floor overlooking the pool. There was a double bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, a coffee table, a mirror, a refrigerator, a safe that I did not use and nothing was missing, air conditioning. They cleaned the room every day, washed the floors, wiped the dust, changed the towels thrown on the floor. The balcony has a table, chairs, an ashtray for smoking guests. I was very pleased with the food. For breakfast there were always delicious pancakes with different jams, like ours. For lunch and dinner, there are several types of soups, chicken, beef, fried, stewed and baked fish. From side dishes: rice, pasta, potatoes in various preparations. Lots of greens, vegetables, salads and fruits. Desserts are delicious. Those who want to spend the whole day at sea can have a hearty snack at the beach bar. By the way, the bartender there is very friendly and humorous. The beach is very big. On the one hand, there is a gentle entrance to the sea and shallow water, where children and those who cannot swim are splashing around. In another part, corals, fish, swim there with masks. I can't swim, so I swam in shallow water. By the way. Slippers are not needed, I went into the sea barefoot and never bumped into stones or sea \u200b\u200burchins... The animation is very active, especially the evening shows. At the competition, Miss and Mister of the hotel laughed heartily, took part, but did not win, but I received so many emotions from participation that I still remember with a smile on my face!

Men will also not go hungry: beef, chicken, duck, turkey, rabbit, fish, seafood. Delicious grilled meat dishes are prepared for dinner. For those with a sweet tooth, this is paradise: cakes, pastries, baklava, oriental sweets, jelly. You can sign up and visit the a la carte restaurant on the beach for free. Fine dining, impeccable service, gorgeous sea views. The hotel's beach is beyond praise. There are enough free sun loungers for everyone. Towels are provided directly on the beach. Hello! We arrived on April 28, tanned and rested! There was a surcharge of $ 60 for the Sphinx 5 stars, I think I made a mistake because the rooms are almost the same as in King Toot, they ate the same in King Tooth, the choice is not great, but they did not stay hungry! The rooms are certainly not five stars, very old furniture, but the view from the window was wonderful (sea and pool)! Many thanks to the children's animator Ekaterina! My son and I just fell in love with her, sweet, smiling! In general, all the staff are good! The sea is beautiful, warm, transparent! I would give the Sphinx Hotel 4 stars with a stretch! Our son was 1.3 years old at that time. I really liked the beach - the child has sand, and after a few meters the stone steps and immediately deep - this is for adults. Recently the rooms at King Toot have been renovated, so the room itself was nice - white ceilings, walls, furniture is ok. there were a couple of nuances with the toilet (water was running all the time), but we decided them ourselves. And we also did not close the window - something with a double-glazed window, but this did not particularly upset us. The windows overlooked the street with the road, but the sound did not really interfere. And they escaped the heat with an air conditioner. Here's another strange moment - there were 4 of us in the room, but only 3 sets of towels (and beach towels too) were always given - as if the child was not a human being.

The hotel itself.
King Tut and Sphinx share a common area and beach. You can swim in all pools (one large and three small ones). On the territory of the Sphinx there is a water park that is open 10-12 and 14-17 every day, but kids ride there. (it was impossible to get our out of there). Children's animation is present - every day from 10 to 12 there is a children's club - children are gathered along the beach and taken to a separate room, where they watch cartoons, draw, they have face painting, and in the evening at 20.30 a children's disco begins.

Food.
Chicken, fish and beef are a must every day. Rice, potatoes and pasta. Sometimes there was one of them national cuisine... A lot of sweets, fruits (we had melons, apples and oranges, in the Sphinx they also gave watermelons). Between lunch and dinner on the beach at the bar, you could take some kind of buns. Drinks - juices (from powder, of course), cola, fanta, sprite (they also bred them there themselves - therefore, as for me, very sweet), water, beer, local alcohol - could be taken in unlimited quantities - at the bar in the lobby and right on the beach. Freshly squeezed juices and imported alcohol could also be bought on the beach.

We can say that there are 2 beaches. One sandy, not at all deep - suitable for children and those who cannot swim. (they also carry out water aerobics there). The second beach from the side of the Sphinx hotel - steps directly into the open sea (I recommend going here in slippers, because there is a rocky bottom). The sea is clean, transparent, the fish swim right under your feet, and if you swim to the sandy beach, you can understand that the sandy beach is dead coral, but the side that goes out to the sea is alive, and there are many different fish and beautiful corals. I myself saw a huge stingray! You don't even need to go on an excursion to the sea - all the beauties of the Red Sea are right at the hotel!

Lack of plates or forks is eliminated instantly, and updating the serving of dishes will not make you wait long. There are two restaurants and you don't have to leave the beach to dine. There is always a lot of fruit, interesting baked goods are rarely pampered. Animation works regularly and actively. Ten minutes from the hotel there is a huge modern market with fixed prices and various European-standard shops where you can pay by card. To Marina, Sheraton, fish market, etc. about 3 km., the cost of a taxi is 2 dollars. I definitely recommend the hotel for families with children and not only.
