Where to stay in Cyprus with children. Which hotel to choose in Cyprus with a child ?! Overview of hotels in Cyprus! How to find a cheap hotel or apartment in Cyprus

If you have a reliable car with which it is not scary to go on a long journey, then great opportunities open up before you. Today we are going to take a look at several routes for traveling by car in Europe that you can take on board this summer or next.

Most often, the distance of the route is influenced not by technical and financial capabilities, but by knowledge of foreign languages \u200b\u200band experience independent travel... An experienced tourist can explain himself at the hotel or ask for help without deep linguistic knowledge, so he is not afraid to travel to any country. But now, in the era of smartphones, there is no problem in downloading all the dictionaries and phrasebooks to your phone, which you can use if necessary. In Europe, people are very willing to respond to requests and questions from tourists, and communication at gas stations and in restaurants can be minimized.

But nevertheless, if you first decide to go somewhere by car abroad in the summer, we recommend starting with those countries where they at least understand Russian, and representatives of the older generation are even able to answer it. Therefore, we recommend that novice travelers go to the Baltic States, Poland or the Czech Republic. For more experienced tourists, we will venture to offer a car route to Austria.

Car routes in Europe

"Baltic ring"

  • Moscow - Tartu - Tallinn - Riga - Palanga (optional) - Vilnius - Moscow
  • Kilometers: 3000 km

In order not to travel all the way to Tallinn from Moscow, we recommend spending the night in Tartu, which is called the spiritual capital of Estonia. This small town is well worth one evening when you can stroll through the old town and grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. The next day, having overcome the 2.5-3 hour road to Tallinn, you will find yourself in the capital of Estonia with its beautiful old town and unique Estonian atmosphere, which is strikingly different from what awaits you in Latvia and Lithuania. We recommend setting aside one full day to explore Tallinn. After Tallinn, we recommend going to Riga, where you can stay for 2 days. One day here can be devoted to a walk in the old town, and the second day to its sights.

Further, the route can be adjusted to your liking. If you go on a trip by car in the summer, you can stop at or for 4-5 days to sunbathe and appreciate the rest on the Baltic Sea. If the sea is not in your plans, then the next point of the route is Vilnius, where all the most interesting things in the old town can be seen in half a day, and the second day can be spent in mall "Akropolis", which is not the first year main point routes of all tourists from Russia and Belarus. Here, with the remaining money, you can conduct shopping therapy and with renewed vigor go to the way back to Moscow or St. Petersburg.

"Czech"

  • Moscow - Wroclaw - Spindleruv Mlyn - Prague - Brno - Krakow - Brest - Moscow
  • Kilometers: 3940 km

Prague is one of the most popular and budget directions at russian tourists... The capital of the Czech Republic does not need an extra introduction, but it would be wrong to cover such a distance by car just for the sake of a weekend in Prague. Therefore, we recommend combining a sightseeing tour of Prague with a vacation in the mountains or in Karlovy Vary (your choice).

The path from Moscow to the Czech Republic is long (about 1800 km), so you need one overnight stay in Poland. On the way to the Czech Republic, we recommend that you park in Wroclaw or Warsaw. Both cities have something to offer tourists in their historic centers and this program will be enough to unwind in the evening after a long journey.

Spindleruv Mlyn - popular ski resort Czech Republic, where you can have a great time at any time of the year. When traveling by car in the Czech Republic in summer, do not forget to plot your route to see some of the Czech castles on a map.

On the way back from Prague to Moscow, it is better to take the Brno-Ostrava expressway, then head to Krakow, where you can spend the night and visit the old town before the final leg of your journey. By the way, if this summer you decide to go to the Czech Republic by car, do not forget to buy a vignette (price - 13 euros for 10 days).

"Northern Poland"

  • Moscow - Kaunas - Gizichko - Ketrzin - Olshtin - Gdansk - Sopot - Gdynia - Frombork - Vilnius - Moscow
  • Kilometers: 3940 km

Northern Poland may not be as popular with car travelers, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. If you decide to take this route by car this summer, you will have the opportunity to get to know both Lithuanian capitals, where you can stay overnight. In Gizichko, beautiful lakes are waiting for you, where you can swim and relax for a couple of days. In Ketrzin you can visit the castles and Hitler's bunker. Along the entire road there will be exits to the ancient Polish castles, of which there are quite a few. You can spend a longer time on the beaches of Sopot, from where it is convenient to get to Gdansk and Gdynia, where there is also something to see. On way back you can visit Frombork, where the Copernicus house-museum, Cathedral Hill and another beautiful medieval castle are located.

This route requires additional and careful planning, since there are many sights in northern Poland, for which it is worth planning the route yourself.

Route "Austrian Lakes + Germany"

  • Moscow - Warsaw - Berlin - Munich - Zell am See - Salzburg - Vienna - Krakow - Moscow
  • Kilometers: 4900 km

We recommend this route to lovers of beautiful landscapes and fast driving. The most boring part of this route is the road to Berlin. It is physically difficult to overcome 1800 km in a day, so one intermediate stop in Warsaw or any other city in Poland is recommended, since there are a lot of hotels along the way. You should not stay in Berlin for a long time, as the real beauty awaits you further. We highly recommend spending the evening and night in Munich, where you can reach quite quickly on the German Autobahn from Berlin. Head to the year-round Austrian resort of Zell am See early in the morning. If you go here by car in the summer, then choose hotels that offer "summer cards" (Sommer card). These cards give unlimited free access to all lifts and excursions in the region. The Zell am See resort is located on the lake of the same name, which warms up to 23-24 degrees in summer, so you can safely relax here for 5-7 days that will remain in your memory for a long time.

On the way home, we strongly recommend visiting Salzburg, where you can visit the impregnable castle and the house where Mozart was born. Vienna with its richest cultural program is located 4-5 hours drive from Salzburg.

I don't want to because of the heat or for some other reason.

Here you will find beautiful beaches, a child-friendly shallow entrance to the water, countless hotels focused on the comfort of young guests with mini-pools, animation and development clubs, playgrounds, water slides, thoughtful menus, cribs and highchairs for babies.

You there will be no power problems - everything is very diverse, but at the same time it is quite familiar to a Russian person (cheeses, national delicious potato dishes, dairy products in the widest range, etc.). Throughout the resort towns are based a great variety of mini-markets and super-markets with the necessary set of goods for the child - baby food, curds, kefir, yoghurts, etc. dairy products, diapers. An adult will also find everything necessary for himself there.

In addition to all the listed charms, Russia and Cyprus have a simplified visa regime... To obtain an electronic permit, you will not need any certificates or other papers. The whole process takes literally 10 minutes.

The flight time is also good - about 3.5 hours in the airand you are on magic island! The swimming season lasts a record long - from May to November.

Rest in Cyprus is a completely European format of leisure. Calm safe atmosphere, friendly nice people, the highest level of service will not leave anyone indifferent, and for a long time after their return they will be in their memories.

So, we present to your attention our personal rating, which includes the best hotels in Cyprus for families with children:

Ayia Napa

A very popular resort, its love both young people and family people... Ayia Napa deserves such attention the presence of comfortable sandy beaches (changing rooms, showers, umbrellas, sun loungers and other necessities), white sand, shallow entrance, azure water, lots of entertainment, an amusement park, a water park, many restaurants with a cuisine for every taste, budget and age.

Makronisos beach, Cape Greco, monastery, tombs, sea museum, neighboring Famagusta - all these tourist places at your service, are almost within walking distance.

Atlantica Aeneas Resort & Spa 5 *

1 of 11

This chic hotel only a road separates from Nissi Beach. Very green and beautiful area, which has many pools, there are rooms with direct access to the pool and with sun loungers on the balcony. Playground and bright waterslides will delight every child. Flowers and banana palms grow everywhere.

There are a lot of kids here, for them there is a kids club with interesting entertainment and a Russian animator, show programs and children's discos are held in the evening.

Works wonderful chef, so the food is excellent. Nearby there are shops where you can buy essential goods.

Nissi Beach 4 *

1 of 8

One of the most popular family hotels In Cyprus.

For kids, Nissi Beach has a great kids club, playground, pool, games room, and a kids menu. Mini discos are organized in the evenings.

The territory is large and beautiful, decorated with a variety of flowers, among which there is fragrant jasmine, are provided everywhere paths and lifts for strollers.

The most interesting factperhaps is the presence of pelicans. They live right on the territory and walk both on it and on the beach. Not a single child will remain indifferent!

Larnaca

Most ancient city the island has an infrastructure similar to that of other resorts: luxury hotels for families with children, equipped beaches, entertainment, cafes and restaurants, shops and supermarkets, a picturesque promenade for walking.

The entrance to the water is sandy and shallow, shallow water everywhere, the water warms up quickly, it will be slightly warmer during transition periods than in other places. Larnaca is quiet and calm no parties, but intellectual entertainment and fun for the soul can offer - there is salt Lake with flamingo, several museums, a fort, many well-equipped playgrounds scattered throughout the town.

Golden Bay Beach Hotel 5 *

1 of 9

The first undoubted plus is proximity of the hotel to the airport, the transfer will not take much of your time. Immediately outside the territory there are three shops where you can buy things and essential products.

The area, like most hotels in Cyprus, is not very large, but well thought out. There is also a children's pool with a slide, and good playground for games. The beach is excellent, sandy, gently sloping entry into the water and long shallow water, which is just right for relaxing with a child, an adult will have to walk a little to depth.

Sun loungers are free and assigned to vacationers for the entire duration of their vacation. Fresh varied and tasty menu, large selection of fruits, all kinds of seafood, meat, poultry and even Japanese cuisine with rolls and sushi on some days (if you choose this hotel for all inclusive). The children's club is open for children from the age of three; a mini-disco is held, but not every day.

The rooms are all fresh with nice new furniture. Responsive and friendly staff will always come to your aid. There are also Russian-speaking employees. 5 minutes by taxi from the hotel there is a very large child Center, where you can arrange family shopping.

Palm Beach 4 *

1 of 9

There are bungalow category rooms. Rooms with a park view will be quieter, rooms with a sea view are located under the restaurant, in the evening they will be a little noisy (although with a closed balcony you will only hear silence), keep this in mind when choosing a category.

Furniture and plumbing - all new, good quality cots. Everything about food is flawless, an incredible variety for both adults and children.

In addition to what is on the menu, you may be offered to cook something extra, if, for example, the child is spicy or not tasty.

But no one uses this option - everything is perfect anyway. The territory is huge, all in flowers, palm trees and greenery, well-groomed and clean. At the hotel there is a wonderful fitness center - you can combine a pleasant vacation with a useful sport. Entertainment is provided several days a week during dinners, on other days the meal is accompanied by live music.

Specifically, there is no children's animation in the hotel, maybe that's why it has only 4 stars, but here you can also find a lot of advantages - spend time with your child, communicate, build castles on the sand, frolic in the pool, relax together, not apart!

Limassol

Limassol is inferior in terms of fun to Ayia Napa, but, nevertheless, here you can and should have a rest with children, here are a couple of arguments in favor of this city:

Le Meridien Limassol Spa & Resort 5 *

1 of 6

Large beautiful territory, private sandy beach (with inconspicuous inclusions of pebbles), free sun loungers and umbrellas - all these are factors that make it possible to make a decision in favor of rest here. The sand in this place will be of interesting volcanic origin, darkish in color.

You can talk about the children's club for a long time: a large area (3 thousand square meters, a pool with water slides, playgrounds for games and sports entertainment, a children's restaurant and a small amphitheater), a professional team of animators from different countries the world.

Your child will not be bored even for a minute - they will hold the Olympic Games, they will arrange fun in the pool, or they will offer to prepare crafts as a gift for their parents. Mini disco is held every evening. Once a week, a reporting concert is held, where all interested kids can show themselves in singing, dancing or in any other creativity - whatever the child's heart desires. Also, for parents with babies, an additional paid service is provided - looking after the child by a responsible and professional nanny (nursery), which you can always rely on. It is better to take meals of the "full board" format. A varied and delicious buffet - no one will go hungry. A children's menu is present.

Four Seasons 5 *

1 of 9

Network club hotel, wherein i want to stay live... Impeccable 5-star service, nothing distracts from the rest, for you fulfill any whim, understand in any language, will help in any question. A beautiful green compact, but unusually well thought out area (children will be delighted with a pond with blooming lotuses, live fish and a waterfall, while adults will not have to run in search of changing rooms, showers, etc.), own beach, awarded with the "Blue Flag" for all its charm and purity, umbrellas and sunbeds - free, the attentive staff is at your service right there.

The children's club has two divisions: for children from 3 to 8 years old and from 8 to 13. There are two children's pools, a slide, a playground, a children's room with animation.

The menu for the week is not repeated once, themed dinners are constantly arranged, the quality of food will satisfy both the child and the adult. The bars periodically hold promotions called "happy hour" - all drinks can be purchased at half the price. On the territory you can find a minimarket and a shop with branded clothing of premium brands. Beauty salon, fitness center, tennis court and spa - all at your service!

Pathos

The city that gave the world Aphrodite, can be considered a fairly elite place to stay.

Not an obvious choice for family vacations, but, nevertheless, there are decent hotels for families with children, and nature will delight the eye - picturesque bays, unforgettable landscapes, lush vegetation and secluded beaches.

With sand, we'll warn you right away, there's a problem, some hotels find a solution and build artificial beaches. Paphos has its own airport, the transfer will not take much time. Unlike Limassol, here there are practically no Russians, for some it will be a significant plus. Bird park, water park, aquariumm - all this is at the service of the little guests of the island.

Coral Beach Hotel & Resort 5 *

1 of 10

A hotel with a beautiful green area, everything is buried in flowers, located on a slope, there are children's pools, water slides, a playground with swings, merry-go-rounds, a slide, a kids club and a paid nursery.

There is an indoor pool where it will be pleasant to spend time when it is very hot outside. Mini disco is held in the evenings. There are special paths for strollers. The seaweed on the beach is harvested every day. The first coastline, small harbor, sandy beach, free sun loungers and umbrellas. A variety of delicious food (there is an all-inclusive system), cereals are prepared for breakfast, there is separate children's menu... There is a supermarket near the hotel with everything you need. The rooms are very spacious, baby cot is provided free of charge. Live music is played in the lobby every evening. For adults, there is a free gym and yoga lessons.

Elysium 5 *

1 of 8

Not a hotel but almost a castle surrounded by greenery.

Located near the airport, on one side of the hotel - the tombs of the kings, on the other - archaeological park... The beach is a small cove, sand of an interesting dark color, sun loungers in the form of four-poster beds.

The entrance to the sea is good shallow, stones begin at a depth. Excellent fresh rooms, cleaning twice a day. Food at the highest level, both children and parents will be satisfied. Themed dinners are held every evening with live music. There is a kids club and playground, mini-discos are not held, but the children in the hotel always have a lot of rest, so everyone can find a company to their liking. The staff is attentive and friendly to every guest, many speak Russian... There are no problems with the Internet - wi-fi works throughout the hotel.

Tours to Cyprus in 2019

Buying a tour is a great solution if you don't want to organize your trip yourself. The cheapest vouchers are with a departure from Moscow at the beginning of June 2019 - now they cost from 50 thousand rubles for two adults and one child per week. In July and August prices usually go up significantly, however there is always the opportunity to catch cheap All Inclusive Prices

If you are traveling to Cyprus with children, especially small ones, it is better to give preference to all-inclusive tours. Prices for such tours last summer were about 1.5-2 times higher than usual - from 70-80 thousand rubles. But for the summer of 2019, there are vouchers for two adults and one child for 5-6 nights with a flight from Moscow and St. Petersburg from only 56 thousand rubles. The difference with budget tours in this case is not only in food, but also in the hotel level (all-inclusive holidays in Greece are usually offered by hotels of 3, 4 and 5 stars) - and this is a higher level of comfort and quality of service, and proximity to the beach.

Similar all-inclusive tours for departures from Yekaterinburg, Perm and Novosibirsk cost from 85 thousand rubles. But for some cities you can find the same inexpensive vouchers as for Moscow and St. Petersburg. For example, tours to Greece from Rostov-on-Donka also cost from 65 thousand rubles.

Examples of tours to Cyprus "all inclusive" for those who go on vacation with children, with a departure from Moscow in June 2019 (found on):

The most pressing question: "How to feed a child on vacation in Cyprus?"

If the child is over 3 years old, then there will be no problems. In every restaurant there are some simple dishes without sauces and spices: omelets, scrambled eggs, pasta, mashed potatoes, just cooked chicken or fish.

The situation is more complicated with young children who need baby food. You will either have to take a full supply with you, or take a small supply and plan to buy baby food on the spot.

In any of the options, you will have to forget about the usual children's curds and kefirchiks. They simply do not exist in Cyprus. It is unlikely that you will be able to bring them with you, because these products must be kept in the refrigerator, they are unlikely to “survive” the flight to Cyprus. And even if they “survive”, there is no guarantee that the mini-refrigerator in the hotel room will work normally.

The milk component of the baby's diet will have to be compensated. Dry milk porridge is good here. You can bring milk in the form of a dry mixture. Another option is to buy local yoghurts, but not all kids like them.

An important point when transporting baby food! It is prohibited to import food products of animal origin into the EU countries, as we wrote about in the article “”. Exceptions are made only for powdered milk mixtures, but only in their original packaging.

In theory, any baby meat puree in a jar, any baby porridge with meat in a jar, any puree with cream or cottage cheese are prohibited from being imported into Cyprus.

In practice, tourists calmly carry such baby food, customs officers do not find fault. Our advice: if you are carrying baby food in your luggage, put the puree with meat content deeper in the suitcase, put fruit and vegetable purees on top.

If you decide to take a complete set of food with you, then just pack it in a suitcase. A vacation of 7 days will take about 10 kilograms (food, hygiene products, related items). On the one hand, it's hard to drive. But let's look from the other side, because you don't have to look for supermarkets, choose and experience problems if the baby doesn't like Cypriot baby food. There are obvious pros and cons here.

If you decide to buy food in Cyprus. Then take a supply for 2-3 days, because on the first day you obviously won't go to the supermarket. Next, you need to find a pharmacy or supermarket where you can buy baby food.

There are difficulties here. Most likely, the supermarket will not be within walking distance of the hotel; you will have to take a taxi to get to it. Just for boarding a taxi you will have to pay almost 4 euros, read about tariffs in our article “”. The round trip costs tourists 10-12 euros. Moreover, food, diapers and other hygiene products in Cyprus are 1.5-2 times more expensive than in Russia.

The next difficulty is that the information on the packaging of baby food will only be in Greek or english language... Tourists have to guess about the contents solely from the pictures on the packaging.

Which option should you choose? We cannot give an obvious answer.
