What a setting with beaches in Feodosia. Personal experience: an economical family vacation in Feodosia. Aivazovsky Art Gallery

Literally last summer, my friends and I managed to take a vacation at about the same time. We thought for a long time about what to do until we asked our Crimean acquaintances for advice, who in response called us to their place. visit Feodosia... To be honest, then I knew very little about this city and had no idea how to relax there. There were many questions: what is the sea in Feodosia, what is the weather, what interesting things can be found in the vicinity... But now I know everything and I want to answer your question.

How to get to Feodosia

First, there was the question of how to get to Feodosia. Collectively, we decided that the best option for everyone would be air travel... And so, having filled our suitcases to capacity, we went to the airport. The flight went well and we ended up in Simferopol... There, on the advice of all the same Crimean friends, we passed by taxi drivers who were ready to take us anywhere in Crimea, but at the same time contribute to the reduction of bills in our wallets, got to the bus stationwhere in a couple of hours took a bus that took us straight to Feodosia.

What is the sea in Feodosia

Who has not yet understood stands on the Black Sea coast, which had already warmed up by the time of our visit. And in the morning we visited the local "Pearl" beach... The place turned out to be quite equipped with sun loungers and places in the shade. Generally, all conditions were created for rest.

Other beaches of Feodosia

Our unspoken goal was visit all the beaches in Feodosiato evaluate them yourself rather than relying entirely on reviews. Among them were:

  • Pearl beach - as I have already mentioned, firstwhich we visited;
  • The first city - the locals call it childish and not in vain, because you need to move away very far from the coast to feel the depth;
  • Golden beach - one of the best beaches in Feodosia with a very wide coastlinewhere we found ourselves sunbeds (not free, of course);
  • Scarlet Sails - why the beach was named that way remained a mystery to us, but we can definitely say that it was one of the cleanest places by the sea;
  • Pebbles - the only beach where we could hardly find a place for our towels. The beach turned out to be incredibly popular, which is not at all surprising because he is pebble, a not sandy like other beaches in the city.

It's hard to tell what sea in Feodosia, after all, I did not succeed in completely learning everything about him, despite the fact that I was there. If you also want " classically "relax by the sea, then Feodosia is the place where it will definitely work out.

One of the warmest and sunniest resorts in Crimea is the Feodosia district. The sea warms up here already in early June, so the swimming season lasts longer than in other parts of the peninsula. Feodosia is located on a long sandy coast, which is why local beaches are considered the most convenient and comfortable for relaxation.

By the number of historical sights, the city is not inferior to Sevastopol and the iconic places of the southern coast of Crimea. There are many medieval temples, the ancient Kafa fortress, as well as picturesque mansions of the 19th-20th centuries. Many places in Feodosia are associated with the name of the great artist IK Aivazovsky, who was born here, lived and created his incomparable seascapes.

Greetings friends!

Today we will go over with you on the topic - Feodosia Crimea beaches, take a look at the noisy city and spacious surrounding recreation areas. We will learn the secret - why do people make a pilgrimage to some Cape of St. Elijah, if there are more than a dozen beaches in Feodosia itself.

Well let's prepare theoretically for the swimming season on this coast. In order to know with confidence the location of all the amenities and, instead of a changing room, not send your own spouse into the clutches of skilled beach masseurs.

With such knowledge you cannot be put on your shoulder blades and you cannot offer you some muddy harbor with algae enveloping your legs.

Aye, be educated!

The beaches of Theodosia stretch from Cape St. Ilya including the surrounding areas of the villages of Beregovoe and Primorskoe - only 15 km along the coast. The landscape here is steppe and hilly, it does not indulge in special colors, but it is on this coast that the famous "golden sands" are located.

Most of the beaches have a wide sandy strip, in contrast to the beaches of the South Coast. There are very few wild sites, everything around is civil with the necessary infrastructure.

Disadvantage Feodosia beaches: in the city they run along the railway, and in the vicinity along the busy Kerch highway.

A plus: all beaches are free and you can get to any of them by minibus and not walk with trunks along the trails - jumped out of the bus, and here it is - the sea!

The concept of Big Feodosia includes both the city of Feodosia itself and its satellites Primorskoe, Beregovoe, Ordzhonikidze and even Koktebel with Kurortny.

By the way, here is a map for analysis. Now for more details.

City embankment - central beach

The most popular spot during the high season is "Pebbles" , but in a simple way - central beach... It runs along the city's bustling embankment; nearby are the famous sights, which you can read about in this article, numerous catering establishments, cozy streets, hotels and sanatoriums.

The central beach, about 1 km long, has small pebble , at the water's edge turning into sandy. The recreation area is spacious and wide, and the entrance to the sea is gentle and comfortable, which is good for children and the elderly.

Here you will find awnings, changing cabins, toilets and showers, as well as sun lounger and umbrella rental. There is also entertainment areas - attractions for children and adults, catamarans for rent and even a water sports center.

And everything would be fine if it were not for the problem with the sewage system, which they have not been able to solve for several years. Therefore, there are often not sea aromas hovering here, and in the heat, swimming simply becomes dangerous. I met reviews where (most likely visitors referring to algae blooms) vacationers are advised to take immediately with them a drug for a roto-viral infection.

The most preferred time to relax here is June, first half of July.

You can get to the embankment by buses No. 3, 15, 40, 40A, stop "White Acacia". Focus on the area of \u200b\u200bthe railway station of Feodosia.

First or children's beach

Immediately after the central one follows the first city beach, indicated on the maps also as "Children's" ... So it is called because of the comfortable sandy cover and very convenient entrance - shallow water in this place stretches several meters from the coast, due to which the water warms up much earlier, and the storm here is also "childish".

The beach is fully equipped, there is a place both under awnings and in the sun on sun loungers. Various attractions are installed for children, there is a pier for sea walks.

A big plus is that this area is carefully cleaned by employees.

Private traders and sanatoriums

So there is nothing to do without a health certificate.

Unofficial beaches

Local residents and regular vacationers in Feodosia mention two more beaches that were not officially registered in 2018. This is the beach - "Dynamo" and "Suvorin stones" .

And if Dynamo has some kind of landscaping - sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, awnings, and the site itself is conducive to a comfortable rest, then Suvorinskiye Kamni is considered wild.

The beach area "Suvorinsky stones", of course, is not empty. There is a not very wide, but even pebble strip and breakwaters.

The downside is that the descent into the sea begins with slippery and sharp cobblestones, there are a lot of algae near the coast (because of the stones), here and there there are fragments of some slabs. The beach is bounded on one side by a high concrete wall painted with hideous graffiti. Lovers of the distant from the noisy recreation center and cheerful youth like to stay here.

These beaches are located at the beginning of the Komsomolsky Park. You can get to them by following the embankment.

On the cote d'azur

The "Cote d'Azur" beach has existed for a long time, but every year it is being improved more and more.

"Cote d'Azur" quite spacious, with a sand-shell covering. It has two levels. The first level goes along the sand along the sea, and the second is concrete under awnings, which must be climbed by steps.

This site has strict rules regarding smoking "wherever I want", warning signs hang around. There is a lot of entertainment - from legendary "bananas" to water scooters and attractions.

There is where to have a bite to eat and put yourself in order, although shower room services are paid. You will also have to pay for a visit to the bathroom, umbrellas and sun loungers.

A small minus - after 18.00, beach equipment is collected, so you have to spend the rest of the day on a towel.

Otherwise, everything is very neat, tidied up, lifeguards are wandering around, there is a first-aid post.

You can get here from the Komsomolsky Park, overcoming the railway tracks. This site belongs to the Black Sea city embankment.

Second city or Pearl

Another large and well-equipped beach is called "Pearl" , thanks to the sandy shell coating with a characteristic shimmer. It stretches for 800 meters and is up to 50 meters wide in places.

Everything here is as it should be - showers, sanitary zones, rescue posts, sheds and beach equipment rental. Nearby are cafes and shops, guest houses and hotels.

The gentle entrance to the sea and the long shallow waters make this beach accessible for families with young children.

Paradise delight - no kidding

The "Pearl" beach is followed by the "Bounty" beach. It is known for its diverse infrastructure, leisure and entertainment services.

Territory "Bounty" takes about 300 meters, the cover is fine sand. There is a very comfortable entrance to the sea here, and the wooden flooring makes this area neat and convenient for barefoot rest.

Near the main entrance you will find information boards indicating prices for services (rental of sun loungers and umbrellas), beach opening hours, accurate data on air and water temperatures, and various advertising chips - which excursions you can choose, which cafe has the most delicious lunch, where a masseur is waiting for you etc.

You can get to this beach by taking minibuses No. 13, 13A, 106 to the bus station "bus station", then you need to go railroad over the high bridge and you go straight down to the "Bounty".

Expansion of golden sands and blue sea

From the outskirts of Feodosia to urban-type settlement Primorsky stretch of sandy beaches, recognized as the best on this coast. On the next 10 km, along the Kerch highway, there are comfortable and comfortable recreation areas.

If you move towards Beregovoye, then the first on the list will be the beach "Santa Cruz". His possessions begin immediately outside the territory boarding house "Ukraine" .

Here is the widest sandy strip, which reaches 50 meters. There is a pleasant to the touch sand, well-groomed and clean territory, there is entertainment for children in the form of a large wooden frigate and an inflatable pool for children.

Sun loungers and umbrellas are arranged in neat rows. There is a representative of the Malibu Rescue Team, a first aid kit, a cafe with drinks and booths for shy beachgoers.

Yes, and very close, behind the fence, parking for personal vehicles. What else is needed?!

Be careful! In the Alushta area, or rather in the Professor's Corner, there is another beach "Santa Cruz" named after the cafe above it. But that is a completely different song))

Assol is not present, but there are Scarlet Sails

Scarlet Sails Beach , designated as family. This is a very worthy place.

The beach is fenced, has its own style of decoration - square bright umbrellas lined up "under the ruler", neat paths, benches in the shade of trees or awnings, flower beds and other plant compositions, lanterns.

From entertainment - playgrounds for beach games, bright attractions for children, rental of all kinds of swimming equipment, massage cabins, diving center, tour desk, cafes and kiosks, Wi-Fi.

The territory is carefully cleaned, smoking is prohibited - there are special places, lifeguards and a first-aid post are present. A big plus - there are slopes for people with disabilities.

On this beach, you can rent not only a sun lounger and an umbrella, but also a diving kit (fins, mask, snorkel), a gazebo with barbecue for a company, balls and other sports equipment for games. Your personal belongings will safely wait for you in the storage room.

According to vacationers, it is a very pleasant place with qualified and polite staff .

Where the sun rises

Entrance to the territory free but may be limited in the evening due to various club activities. And so, here you can enjoy pleasant fine sand, have fun on water attractions and sports grounds, visit restaurants and bars.

What "117 km" includes

Next to the previous beach Sunrise a spacious area called "117 km" is located. It includes several beach stretches including "Club 117" - an entertainment beach complex.

Feature of this coastal zone rest in a combination of sand and shell cover and an abundance of plants that bloom and smell, create shade and give aesthetic pleasure to visitors.

Here you can also rent beach equipment, go headlong into entertainment and sports games, taste Crimean cuisine in one of the cafes, or just lie on your towel at the very edge of the sea.

It should be noted that here, although the entrance to the water is gentle, it has rocky areas. By the way, on the shore at certain distances there are heaps of boulders, probably playing the role of breakwaters.

This beach has a complete infrastructure from toilets to massage bungalows, so that the rest will be comfortable.

We got to the Golden Beach of Feodosia!

In fact, there is a concept as the Big Golden Beach, which includes all of the above beaches along the route, plus several small private areas in between. But since they have already got their own names, it is officially believed that Golden beach Is a site belonging to the tourist base of the same name.

It is located closer to the village of Beregovoe, behind the famous dolphinarium "Nemo"(we have about the Crimean dolphinariums)... Here you can stop and in a hoteland in the guest house, or directly at the hostel itself.

The sandy-shell beach with a gentle entrance to the sea has an excellent wide strip and the necessary infrastructure. The houses are located right on the coast, which is very convenient and there is no need to cross any roads. There are buoy-fenced areas for toddlers in the sea.

In the morning on the beach (at 8.00), visitors are usually greeted over the loudspeaker, an announcement of weather and water conditions, an invitation to morning exercises - all very kind.

You can get here by the same minibus number 106. But remember, sometimes places on the beach are limited due to the large number of tourists at the camp site, then you will have to go to rest next door.

Wild beaches of Feodosia

Gerbil

For those who want to retire and listen only to the sound of the surf in Feodosia there are wonderful wild beaches... You will have to get to them by car or first by public transport, and then on foot.

"Gerbil" located behind the village of Primorsky, which is part of the urban district of Feodosia. This is the largest and most spacious area, bounded on one side by green hills and embankments. Nevertheless, the coastal strip is wide, and the entrance to the sea is gradual and convenient.

From the infrastructure there are only remote points of public catering, so umbrellas, bedding, water must be taken with you.

How to get there: by bus number 106 to final stop, then walk along the coast for as much as 3 km!

Cape Chumka

Although the beach is located within the city limits, it does not have an equipped shore. Vacationers love this site for its clear water and calm sea in a small bay.

Coastal coverage - different sizes pebbles. The entrance to the sea is rocky and sandy ... Broken berth structures stick out from the water nearby.

You can get here by minibuses №№ 1, 14, 2A, 15, get off at the stop "City Hospital №1".

Cape of Saint Elijah

This beach is absolutely wild and unofficial , and it is located far away. But connoisseurs of the Crimean landscapes get here too. Cape of Saint Elijah known for its historical past and legends, there is an old lighthouse and even Scythian burial mounds.

The coastline here is quite indented, there are also rocky areas supported by steep slopes, and quite comfortable, wide pebble-sandy stretches. There is no infrastructure , as well as those who would keep order here. Therefore, all visitors are asked to be clean.

Get to Cape St. Ilya can be as follows: get to the Kafa fortress (Gorbolnitsa stop), then walk about 2 km to the east. Car coordinates: 45.012778, 35.421944.

    See you soon!

The ancient city on the Black Sea coast - Feodosia - is not only a historical monument, but also a place of pilgrimage for "beachgoers". The Russian aristocracy and intelligentsia have rested here since the end of the 19th century. Today, reviews of which only the most enthusiastic are once again extremely in demand among russian tourist... How to choose the best place for rest among the Feodosia diversity? We will tell you in detail about the best beaches on this coast.

    Geographical position of Feodosia

The city of Feodosia is located on the southeastern coast of the Crimean peninsula. It is washed by the bay of the same name; on the other hand, the city borders on the very edge of the Tepe-Oba mountain range. Feodosia is located on the seashore, but its territory is poor water resources, only along the edge of the city the Baibuga river flows, and several rivulets are enclosed in pipes under the city's pavements. Despite the proximity of the mountains, the relief of the city is flat, it is convenient to walk here, and the best beaches of Feodosia have a comfortable, gentle descent into the water.

    Climate and weather

The border position of Feodosia, between the mountains and the sea, creates a special climate here: something transitional from the subtropics to the steppes. There are hot dry summers, mild winters with possible rather low temperatures. The average annual temperature is plus 12 degrees. The summer season in Feodosia begins in April and ends in early October. The hottest month is July, when the thermometer rises to + 25-30. True, the proximity of the sea makes it easy to endure even 40-degree heat. The most comfortable Feodosia, rest, beaches in August-September, when it comes the Velvet season with an average daytime temperature of +24 degrees. IN last years there is a tendency for the temperature on the coast to rise, this makes July even hotter, but it prolongs beach season... Precipitation in Feodosia most often falls in December, the driest month is July. On average, the sun shines here for 250 days a year. The water off the coast of Feodosia always has a positive temperature. In July, it warms up to +22 degrees on average.

The winter in Feodosia is mild, but still there are subzero temperatures. Snow falls on average 20 days a year, but it melts immediately, in rare cases the snow cover lasts for several days. Because of strong winds from the east and north, it is uncomfortable in the city in winter, chilly weather is not a pleasure.

    History of Feodosia

The city of Feodosia, whose sandy beaches today attract tourists from all over Russia, has always been very attractive place for life. Of course, the ancient people were not interested in sunny coasts, but primarily in an extremely favorable position. Numerous trade routes passed by the city, and therefore the first settlements appeared here a very long time ago.

The official date of the foundation of the city is the 6th century BC. e. Then the Milesian colonists chose this place to locate a strategically important settlement. However, today archaeologists are discovering new evidence that Feodosia (Crimea), whose beaches are filled with tourists today, appeared in the 9th century BC. e. At the time of the Bosporus kingdom, about 8 thousand people lived in the city, it flourished and grew for 300 years. But the invasions of the Huns led the city to decline. For several centuries, the Alans lived on the site of Feodosia. Later, the territories came under the control of Byzantium, and then under the influence of the Golden Horde. The Genoese bought a plot of the Feodosia coast from the Tatars and founded a large trading city here.
