Free excursions in Moscow
During the month, while the Journey to Christmas festival lasts, the project "Walking in Moscow" will conduct free excursions through the streets of Moscow on the theme of New Year and Christmas. The walks will last about two hours and will start from the central streets.
The program includes walks in the places of Tsvetaeva, Mayakovsky, Chaliapin, Diaghilev and Stanislavsky.
Stories about the traditions of celebrating the New Year 100 years ago, about the oldest skating rink in Moscow, about the features of fairs and a festive table.

Ice slides on Poklonnaya Hill
For those who do not go to Krasnaya Polyana this winter or do not ski at all, there will be a great opportunity to experience the beauty of winter.
From December 29, 2016 to January 8, 2017, ice slides for children and adults will be open on Poklonnaya Gora.
The slides will be up to 100 meters long.
Where will the Christmas trees be installed in 2017
Per last years collectors of photographs of New Year trees appeared in Moscow. 35 decorated Christmas trees will be installed in Moscow on New Year's holidays 2017. Among the unusual decorative elements are orange slices, mittens and felt boots, birds and fairy-tale characters.
The tallest Christmas tree will be located on Lubyanskaya Square. Every Muscovite or guest of our city should see it.

Festivals Journey to Christmas 2017 and Christmas Light are included in the extensive program of the annual Moscow seasons mass events.
