The Altan tourist base is located on the banks of the Katun River, there are two baths and a sauna, and a guarded parking is provided.
The Zaimka Kamza complex is located on the bank of the Koksa River, the base provides a customized menu, rooms of different categories, antler baths with the addition of maral breeding products.
Additional comfort is created due to the unique location, the base is surrounded by mountain slopes, which hides the place from prying eyes and protects from strong winds.

Fishing on the Ugul lakes is in great demand, trout is found here, it is impossible to get to this place on foot or by car in winter.

Ski bases
Base in Gorno-Altaysk
Located within the city. There are several barrack-type houses for accommodation (8-10 beds per room, kitchen, bathroom). We went there with classmates, so such conditions did not bother us. Moreover, the price is very affordable. The only negative is a huge number of people from local residents, which are activated during the New Year and school holidays. On the slope - do not push through. Moreover, it rests against the river bank. In general, only notorious extreme people went skiing, the rest preferred sledges and bagels. Skis and snowboards can be rented.
Mountain "Merry"
Located in the village of Aya. The slope is small, more suitable for beginners. The lift is a drag lift, it works intermittently due to unstable electricity supply (but this is a problem for the entire Altai Mountains as a whole). There are several large heated houses and a bathhouse on the territory of the base. Cottages are rented in whole or by room. The first option is more related to the New Year holidays. If there is not enough space on the base itself, do not despair. You can always rent a house or a room from local residents nearby, such announcements decorate every second fence. The place is very picturesque, from the top of the mountain a panoramic view of the valley of the lower Katun opens.
The village of Manzherok
The construction of the ski base in Manzherok began a long time ago, but it was inactive for a long time. A couple of years ago, the owner changed, and the base began to work in full force. Two slopes of varying degrees of difficulty, two lifts: drag and chair. Equipment rental is provided. By the way, you can ride on the chair-lift just like that, without skis, and return downstairs on it. A stunning view of the surroundings and the legendary Manzherok lake, sung by Edita Piekha. You can also stay in the village with local residents. On the territory of the tourist complex there are three mini-hotels and one economy class hotel, a cafe and a restaurant, a bathhouse. By the way, the chairlift works for visiting all year round, however, at the height of the season you will have to stand in a long queue to admire the surroundings.
Seminsky pass
At one of the highest points of the Chuysky tract is the Seminskaya Polyana tourist complex, which is also a training base for Olympic skiers. This place was not chosen by chance: in high-mountainous climates the snow does not melt for a very long time, and its quality is ideal for such training. The slopes are always cleared and prepared, there are various jumps and slalom tracks. But beginners will not get bored either: there are places for beginners and slides for sledging and bagels. We stayed in a barrack-style dorm with box-spring bunk beds. For our student mob, this was ideal. Of course, there are separate cottages and a hotel. Also on the territory there is a cafe, a disco, several baths. Our company rested there for a week, during which time we decided to go on a ski trip to the Sarlyk mountain (the highest point of the Seminsky pass). For this, we rented regular cross-country skis, which, among other equipment, are abundant at the rental point. The base is open all year round, the slopes for skiing - from November to the end of March (depending on the weather).
Year-round hotels and sanatoriums
Belokurikha resort town
Located in the Altai Territory, but already in a mountainous area. There are several large sanatoriums, which can only be reached by a voucher. But even ordinary mortals can improve their health there after consulting a doctor. Radon baths - main source recovery in the area. You can also drink water, but in moderation. In each sanatorium, events are held, animators work. The atmosphere in the resort part of the city is very calm. Squirrels are jumping everywhere and begging for food. There is a small chairliftfrom which you can admire the surroundings.
Park-hotel "Zdravnitsa Aya"
A large tourist complex on the shore of the lake of the same name. In winter, only the hotel itself is open, in which, in addition to entertainment program you can go through some wellness procedures: baths, saunas, herbal teas, etc. It is possible to consult a doctor. Discos and entertainment events take place. If you are a fan of extreme sports, the mountain is just a stone's throw away.
Also in Gorny Altai there are many bases and cottages that are launched only on New Year's holidays. But places in such houses should also be booked a month and a half before the date of arrival, because at this time there is always a full house.
