Drive to Borisovskie Ponds Park. Borisovskie ponds: attractions and how to get to the park. Fishing and apple orchard

Borisov ponds - a huge landscape park and recreation area, located on the banks of the pond of the same name in the south of Moscow.

Borisovsky Pond is located on the Gorodnya River and is considered the largest pond in Moscow: its area is 86 hectares, while it includes several reaches, therefore it is usually mentioned in the plural, although in fact there is only one pond.

The park with a total area of 237 hectares is located on the banks of the pond, surrounding it from all sides. Its main advantage is magnificent natural landscapes, however, the advantages do not end there: the park has sandy and grassy beaches (on the northern and southern shores), 4 football and 8 volleyball fields, 10 tennis courts, a skate park, and more than 8 kilometers of bike paths (in winter they turn into ski tracks). To the services of vacationers - about 40 picnic points (gazebos with barbecue), located in different parts park, and for children there are playgrounds. Despite the variety of sports and beach infrastructure, the park is suitable not only for sports fans and active rest, but also for "quiet" vacationers: on a huge territory there is enough space for privacy.

Perches, crucians and carps are found in the pond, therefore its shores are chosen by fishermen.

It is worth noting that Borisovskie Ponds is a recreation area without swimming, and although there are high-quality beaches on the banks of the pond, swimming in it is prohibited. The shores are patrolled by police and search and rescue personnel.

The history of Borisov ponds

Borisov Pond on the Gorodnya River has been known since the 16th century, when these lands belonged to Tsar Boris Godunov. By the name of the tsar, the pond is called Borisovsky; earlier it was also called Tsarevoborisovsky and Tsareborisovsky.

In the past, the village of Borisovo existed on the shore of the pond, the inhabitants of which were engaged in fishing and gardening: valuable fish were bred in the pond, which later fell on king's table, and the gardens brought a lot of income to the village, so it was considered prosperous. At the end of the 19th century, a school and a library were opened in the village, which were attended not only by locals, but also "guests" from neighboring villages. In Soviet times, the village was transformed into the Krasnye Voskhody collective farm, which existed until the 1960s.

To date, not a trace has remained from the village of Borisovo on the banks of the pond, however, the remains of rural and collective farm apple orchards are still preserved.

In 1983-1984 and 2007-2008, the pond was drained to clean and strengthen the banks. Since 2011, work has been underway to improve the territory, thanks to which the park has acquired a developed infrastructure.

The Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Borisov and the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity at the Borisov Ponds are also located near the Borisov Pond.

It is worth noting that on weekends and holidays, picnic spots attract a large number of drunks and various cattle, which thump, piss on everything standing upright and leave behind a significant amount of garbage. The park is cleaned with high quality, however, being close to such companies is extremely unpleasant, so it is best to visit Borisovskie ponds on weekdays, when the number of cattle is minimal, or choose places for recreation away from picnic spots.

Park "Borisovskie Prudy" located on the banks of the pond of the same name in the areas of Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoye and Moskvorechye-Saburovo. You can get to it on foot from metro stations "Borisovo" Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line and "Orekhovo" Zamoskvoretskaya.

Moscow beaches are a purely internal affair of Muscovites. In the sense that Moscow is not a resort, and tourists do not come here for swimming and tanning. No one, of course, limits the entrance to the beaches for strangers, but what to do on a Moscow beach for a Volzhanian or a resident of the Black Sea region, accustomed to wide shores, vast beaches and big water... The exception will probably be something unusual for the majority. There is such a thing in Moscow.

Nudist beaches in Moscow

There are three nudist beaches in Moscow.

Beach in "Serebryany Bor". The most popular of Moscow nudist beaches. If you get by land transport, then you can take trolleybuses 86, 20 and 65 to the terminal station. From there, follow an ecological path that leads to two bridges. From them you can already turn to the river, to its right bank. The beach is chastely surrounded by a high fence, but the entrance was left free. For vacationers on the beach there is a volleyball net, and points Catering with drinks and snacks. There are no undressing booths, but in fact, who needs them there. There are two categories of vacationers wandering along the beach - naked and clothed. The first ones bathe and sunbathe, and the second ones look at the first ones. Swimming on it is officially prohibited, the beach is wild and littered.

For your information! The left bank was captured by homosexuals vacationing. The administration of the beach is fighting with them, although gays are not swimming naked, but in bathing shorts. Formally, there is no reason to disperse homosexuals, so the methods of struggle are peculiar. On the left bank, fir trees and other trees are being intensively planted. The dense vegetation will keep gays off the beach, according to city officials.

Swan Lakes is the second most popular nudist beach among Muscovites. Exclusively beautiful place at the confluence of the Moskva River and the Stroginskaya Poima. You can get there from the Shchukinskaya metro station by bus 638. You need to go to the water ski stadium. Borisov ponds(the old name is Tsareborisovskiy pond) are located within Moscow, in Yuzhny administrative district... Arranged along and at the base of the Gorodnya river bed. Geographically, they occupy the lands of the Orekhovo-Borisovo Severny and Moskvorechye-Saburovo districts and border on Brateevo.

History of ponds

The first mention of Borisov ponds () dates back to the 16th century. Officially, their appearance is associated with the name of Tsar Boris Godunov. At first, he built a palace estate on the lands belonging to him, and then ordered to dig a reservoir.

They arranged it along the Gorodenka River, which flowed into the Moskva River near the village of Beseda. The reservoir became the first of three, erected in a cascade later: Borisovsky, Shipilovsky, Verkhnetsaritsinsky. In 1964, a nearby street was named after the first.

During the Time of Troubles, the neighborhood was devastated because of the battles fought here. Only by 1620 it was re-settled by peasants who left Kolomenskoye.

From the description of 1646, it follows that the ponds at that time were used for raising fish (crucian carp, pike, roach, bream) for the royal table.

Arrangement of ponds, their maintenance, fish farming were carried out by "apprentices of carpentry", pond guards, special "plug-ins".

The pond farm in Borisovskie ponds has functioned for more than two centuries. From materials of the 18th century. it is already known about 13 watchmen and that, in addition to those indicated, sterlet and ides were grown in reservoirs.

In the 19th century, the reservoir was abandoned, slowly overgrown, silted up. And so it went on until 1983, when finally the Moscow government got hold of it. For 2 years, the ponds were cleaned, the banks were strengthened. The next cleaning and landscaping of its banks were carried out in 2007-08.

2011 was a landmark year for Borisov ponds. The Moscow government decided to develop the adjacent park. There are plans to build football fields, volleyball courts, tennis courts, bike trails, gazebos equipped with barbecues, etc.

The dam, which now exists on the Borisov ponds, was built for the first time at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. However, during the time of Catherine II, it was practically built anew, using stone blocks. The reconstruction was carried out by K.I. Blank, a famous architect at that time. This structure is considered to be the oldest hydraulic engineering structure in Moscow.

Characteristics of ponds

The ponds include several stretches with slightly hilly natural banks. total area the water surface is 86 hectares, and the average depth is 2.50 m. The Borisov ponds on the map are 2.40 km long and 0.60 km wide. According to their characteristics, they are the largest closed body of water within the city. Water enters it mainly from the Gorodnya River, partly due to the debit of groundwater.

Borisov bridges run across the reservoir. Thanks to them, the Kashirskoe highway-Borisovskie ponds intersection was formed. To the north lies a street called Borisovskie Ponds. Just between them there is a park, which is a continuation of Tsaritsinsky. There is a beach on Borisovskie ponds, which is located on their northern shore.

At one time, the Temples of the Life-Giving Trinity and the Trinity were erected on the banks of the ponds. They, in different conditions, have survived to this day.

Ponds, according to existing regulations, belong to the area where unauthorized bathing of people takes place. On its shores, next to the beach, it operates in summer time search and rescue station of the city.

The coordinates of the ponds for those with GPS: 55 ° 37 "54" N, 37 ° 42 "49" E (55.631775, 37.71349).

Fishing on Borisov ponds

The main advantage of fishing on Borisovskie ponds is in their close location. No need to travel far, spend money. You can go fishing, relax almost next to the dwelling. In summer, finding a quiet place on the shore is not difficult. With the onset of frost, they fish from the ice.

The most catchy fish in the pond is crucian carp. It can be caught on any tackle and on almost any attachment (best of all for a worm, maggot). Less often it bites perch and more often in deep places, and sometimes of decent size. Fishing is carried out on a float rod, spinning. As bait, the fish prefers fry, yellow spoons, maggots.

Often roach, bleak, gudgeon, rotan are caught by fishermen. But, as a rule, they are small in size. The nozzles for catching them are the same: worm, maggot. You can make a talker from semolina, also a catchy bait.

After the last cleaning, fish were launched into Borisovskie ponds - more than 3 tons of carp fry. Whether he is now in the reservoir is difficult to say. Although on the banks you can often meet fishermen waiting for his bite. According to reviews, it is true rarely, but it comes across.

The prospect of fishing on the Borisov ponds is pleasing. According to the improvement plans, the entire left bank will be built up with platforms for fishermen. And there will be more fish: stocking the reservoir in Mosrybvod's plans.

Winter fishing on Borisov ponds

Borisov ponds in Moscow are popular with anglers not only in open water, but also in winter. After the first ice appears, this place becomes a pilgrimage for fishing enthusiasts living nearby. They fish almost all over the reservoir, especially many fishermen gather at the dam.

Based on online reviews winter fishing"Pampers" anglers with a traditional set of fish: roach, rotan, perch, crucian carp. Mostly small specimens come across, although sometimes luck brings, for example, perches under 1 kg or more, roach under 200 g.

They fish from the ice on the Borisov reservoirs with traditional tackle. They use sheer lure, and normal perches are caught on the balancers. Many fishermen use float ice fishing rods, jigging tackle.

The types of jigs used for catching perch, roach and other fish are also traditional. These are "Uralka", "Drop", "Drobinka", "Ant". Use "devils", "witches", "bald". They are caught with no-attachment nozzles, often good luck is brought by planting a bloodworm or maggot on the hook.

Borisov ponds are actually one, the most big pond on the territory of Moscow. Previously, it was known under the names Tsareborisovsky and Tsareborisovsky. The pond and park are located on the Gorodnya River in the Southern Administrative District, on the territory of the Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoye and Moskvorechye-Saburovo districts.

The pond includes several stretches, in fact, therefore, the plural is often used when mentioning it. Borisov pond closes the cascade of Tsaritsyn ponds, and on the largest reach there is a dam separating it from the Lower Tsaritsyn pond. The pond area is 86 hectares, the average depth is 2.5 meters. The pond is fed by ground and surface water. The Borisov bridges are thrown across the pond, along which the Kashirskoe highway and Borisovskie Prudy street pass. The landscape park, located in the vicinity of Borisovskie ponds, is a continuation. Next to the pond is the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity at Borisov Ponds (has the status of the Patriarch's courtyard) and the Church of the Trinity in Borisov.

It is believed that the pond was dug in the 16th century, after Boris Godunov built a palace estate in this place, called Borisovo. And now, on the bank of the pond, there are the remains of an ancient village that existed in the distant past. The pond was built "on the occasion of the famine year to feed the people in 1600". In the same year, the first documentary mention of the pond is found - this is due to the stocking of the reservoir. 98,563 sterlets, 36,792 pikes, 235 sturgeons, 10 belugas and other fish were released into the pond - a total of 348,992 fish. Until the 20th century, the pond was stocked several more times. At the end of 190 and beginning of the 20 centuries, the Moscow Society of Fishing Lovers was engaged in this. Until the middle of the 20th century, the Borisov pond was the most fishy in the Moscow region.

In the 17th century, fish from the Borisov pond was supplied to the sovereign's table. Local peasants were forbidden to fish here, the watchmen followed. In the middle of the 19th century, they (together with family members) were 16 male souls and 28 female souls.

In the scribes of the 1620s, the pond is referred to as "Sovereign". At that time, there was a stone dam and a mill. Later, a paper mill was built on the site of the mill. In the 17-18 centuries, on the left bank of the Borisov pond, the Zrazy tract was located. This forest stretched along the right bank of the Moskva River between the villages of Dyakovskoye and Saburovo, and the royal hunting took place there. In the 19th century, islands were poured on the Borisov pond. Empress Catherine II loved to walk here during her visit to Tsaritsyn. One of her entertainments was watching the fishing. In the past, it was quite a spectacular event. For example, P.I. Shalikov described a fishing holiday that took place at Tsareborisovsky pond in 1833. The party was organized by Princess V.M. Gagarin. Its participants were Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich with his wife, Grand Duchess Elena Pavlovna, Prince V.P. Kochubei with his wife, Counts L.V. and D.V. Vasilchikovs. A pier was built especially for the holiday and observation deck decorated with flowers and orange (orange) trees. A large tent was erected on the shore for the Grand Dukes. The celebration was accompanied by the horn music of the Uhlan regiment. At the signal of a rocket, 200 peasants from nearby villages threw seines into the pond. The common people watched all this.

Writer N. D. Ivanchin-Pisarev wrote down one of the legends associated with the Borisov pond. The legend tells that once "a carp or some other fish" was caught here, in the belly of which there was an earring of Boris Godunov's sister - Queen Irina Fedorovna.

In 1972, the Lower and Upper Borisov bridges were thrown across the Borisov pond. As a result, the pond was divided into two streams: the western one (adjacent to the Shipilovskaya dam) and the eastern one (from the Kashirskoye highway, passing through the bridges, to the Borisovskaya dam). Actually, after that, the name of the ponds appeared in the plural.

There is a beach with boat and rescue stations on the northern shore of Borisovskie ponds. There are also numerous cafes in the summertime. The coast itself is sandy. The last large-scale works on the improvement of the Borisov ponds were carried out in 2007-2008 - the reservoir was drained and cleaned. The water in the ponds is periodically cleaned, although in recent years, due to the pollution of water with oil products, bathing is often prohibited. The southern bank of the pond needs improvement, now it is less suitable for recreation.

In 2011, the Moscow authorities decided to reconstruct the area adjacent to the pond. The Borisovskiye Prudy Park was built there. Now there are two football fields, 8 volleyball courts, 6 tennis courts, 40 gazebos with barbecue facilities, 8 km of bike paths laid. Children's playgrounds are equipped for children. In winter, you can go skiing and join the walrus club.

The pond is still a good fishing spot. Various birds and small animals can be found in the park and on the pond.
